Prologue - Just the beginning!

Author note - I don't own Bittersweet Candy Bowl nor it's characters, it belongs to both Veronica/Taeshi & Oliver. I only own the AU and my own made up characters... Anyway, this is my first time doing this sort of story. (Besides the other one)

[1st Person POV]

Hi there! My name is Zalex Binks. My hair is a messy brown hair, but my back hair is strangely blue, I don't know why but I guess I was born with it. My eyes are goldish yellow, and I usually wear my green scarf.. I also live alone with my mum.. Well, Amelia isn't really my real mum, she's my adopted mum.. She's a black fur colored cat with greenish eyes..

I'm getting carried away, my species are known as humans, or just evolved monkeys instead. My best friends are Mike and Lucy. Mike is a Korat, a type of cat that I have no idea of from my human knowledge. For what breed Lucy is, she is a Khao Manee. I ended up befriending them during kindergarten, although I never talk or interact with any of the kids, since I'll mostly spend my time, reading or drawing like any kid would.. Mike has Green eyes while Lucy has blue eyes-

?: "Who you talking to Zalex?"

Zalex: "Gah?!"

I jumped up in fright after being my thoughts were interrupted. Before I stopped myself from jumping into the river, I turned myself around to see a certain Khao Manee with a pink bow around her neck, standing there behind the small tree where I was sitting at..

Lucy: "Sorry if I scared you."

This was Lucy. One of my friends, but I sometimes see but of fear in her eyes.. must be the river that we were close to.

Zalex: "It's alright, I didn't notice you were there."

I saw the Khao Manee smile at me, but that was quickly short lived as something managed to slap my friend on the butt, which caused said friend to go red in the face. We look to see who did, I felt myself angry at who did it. A Somali orange cat breed was on a skateboard along with a brown Labrador retriever dog breed. This Somali is Paulo, a certain annoying, playboy. While the Labrador retriever on the other hand, couldn't even stand on their own skateboard. This is David, both a friend of both mine & Paulo's.. I never spend anytime around him, but he is certainly a mysterious in my books.. but anyway, back to the story.

Paulo: "Hey, babe "

Before Lucy or Paulo, could even react.. I was up in front of Paulo with my right hand curled up into a fist, which ended up connecting to the poor Somali's jaw, knocking them of their skateboard.

Paulo: "Ah! What the hell was that for man?!"

I only gave the Somali a death glare, before starting to speak to them.

Zalex: "It isn't nice to do that, to Lucy... And not only that.. Isn't skateboarding not allowed here, in this very park?"

The Somali had a look on his face while his friend had fear in it, at the mentioned of skateboarding being not allowed in the park. Lucy on the other hand, was a little glad but I could still see, that she was still tick off by Paulo's dumb stud..

Zalex: "C'mon Lucy, let's go find Mike.."

Lucy could only nod to me while David was having a breakdown till he took off running by carrying both his and Paulo's skateboards, especially the Somali himself with a quick shout of "Hey!"..

Me and Lucy didn't really talk much during the walk.. I've always been a wildlife lover while Lucy was a smart person in school. Heck her singing actually matches the tone that birds would do during either the day or in mornings. After a couple of minutes, I could see a certain Korat ahead of us..

Zalex: "Oi there, Mike!"

The greyish blue Korat, known as Mike.. His green eyes locked on to me and Lucy as we walked over to him. Lucy and Mike seemed to talk to each other while I stayed quiet..

Mike: "Did I miss anything?"

Lucy: "Oh, just that Zalex right hooked Paulo in the jaw.. But that's mostly just it."

I felt myself go pale when I saw my Korat friend gave me a look of shock.

Mike: You.. you did what?!"

Zalex: "Relax, I didn't hit him that hard anyway.."

My misfortunes can't really keep me from getting into trouble as usual... Sigh, such misfortune...

Mike: "*sigh* I'll let you off the hook just this once..."

[Normal pov]

The Korat turned his head at Khao Manee before speaking...

Mike: "Hey, wanna come hang out with me? The ice cream place opens early today! Unless you're not in the mood.."

Lucy only looked at Mike before looking up at the clear blue sky with a smile forming on her face.

Lucy: "Nah. That's exactly what I wanted."

Mike could only smile before looking at their human friend, who... was busy having a stare down with a turtle?

Mike: "Oi Zalex. You want to come with us?"

The human boy turned to look at the young Korat..

Zalex: "Sure. Not like I got anything to do today."

Mike and Lucy kept smiling before heading off with their human friend right behind them, to the ice cream shop.

[Extra begins here | normal pov]

On one quiet night through Roseville's empty streets.. a lone young black fur she-cat with green eyes is seen walking on the sidewalks, enjoying the night breeze to their secret spot within the park.. This is Clumsily.. or as her real name is, Amelia Binks or Amy for short.. Why people call her Clumsily instead of Amy.. well, she has always been seen as a clumsy girl in both at her job and at home.. She would often get abused by her father, while her boss would sometimes hit on her in a drunken state..

Amy shakes her head, to get rid of those bad memories, as she see's that, she has arrived at the park.. but there was a strange sound near, the spot she was heading in.. As she got closer and closer to the sound, she stops in her tracks to see a weird creature lying on the ground with a same but yet smaller version of said creature.. the small creature, from what Amy could see.. was crying but when she looked at the bigger creature, she could see that they were scared and afraid.. Amelia also noticed that they were bleeding.. Knowing what she always does back in school, help others.

Amy: "Oh my god! You're bleeding, I'm going to call the hospital to-"

Amy didn't get by far to finishing what she was saying, when as if God was watching, the stranger spoke to her..

?: "P-please.. Keep my baby boy safe."

Amelia was in shock at hearing the creature... No... A women telling her to take their new born with her!

Amy: "B-but I can't leave you here to die!"

Women: "Please take my dear Zalex, as for me.. I'm already too far to be saved.."

Amy wanted to argue back but.. knowing the situation, it was best to accept their newborn.. As she picks up their son, the women smiled underneath, their hooded cloak, saying one final words..

Women: "Thank... You..."

Amy could only shred some wet tears from her eyes, as heads back to her home.. Once she was gone, a clock like portal opens up, as a black hooded cloaked figure appeared..

?: "Sir, I've found our target.."
