#11- Hero's Welcome!
With Adrien in tow, the Leaves of Rebirth return to Hyguard, once inside the Adventurer's Guild, Guildmaster Izzy dogpiled Marinette!
After 10 minutes of congratulations, Marinette explained what had transpired in the dungeon, suffice to say, Izzy was not pleased.
"Mari, you realize that temporary insanity aside, Adrien not only violated the terms of his probation, he murdered his party members, and the two others under Gabriel's employment, and the fact that Gabriel hired them for Adrien, means he had knowledge of what Adrien was planning to do, this is indeed serious, if what Adrien told you was true, than this calls Gabriel into question as well, At best this will not only result in Adrien's expulsion from the Adventurer's guld, but Gabriel losing his posistion in the Council and his arrest." Izzy explained.
Marinette understood, Izzy may be a stickler for the rules, but those rules exist for a reason.
Marinette gave the Guildmaster a copy of what Adrien told her, and went downstairs.
Mari turned in the corpse of the Giant King as proof of her completion of the dungeon, she was given 4,000 Gold for completion, as well an extra 5,000 gold for the corpse and the Goblin ears.
And Finally with Guildmaster Izzy's blessing, the Leaves of Rebirth were promoted to S-Rank!
The party went to the Drunken Phoenix to celerbrate, where Sora complimented Marinette on her ascention to Beastman, for some odd reason, everyone wanted to pet her, which she didn't mind.
But two hours into the party, the door opened to reveal Guildmaster Izzy, as well as two members of the City guard.
"Is somthing wrong Izzy?" asked Marinette.
Izzy smiled, "No worries Marinette, you aren't in trouble, but we do need your help, we confirmed your account with some of Gabriel's house staff who overheard a conversation with his son, it matches what you told me, we're on our way to his estate as now and we could use some help."
Marinette was about to say somthing, when Tommy of the Vandals spoke up.
"We'll go Mari, you just back from that hellhole of a dungeon, Relax and Rest, you've earned it!" he said as Matt and Takuya got up.
Marinette waved goodbye as the party went with Izzy and the guards..
"C'mon guys! Round's on the house!" cried Sora as the party resumed.
As Marinette sipped her drink, she can't help but feel that her adventures have only just begun...
