#12- The 6 Sacred Swords!
The next morning after the party, Marinette and T.K decided to show the sword she found to Guildmaster Izzy, but when he saw it, he spat out his tea in disbelief!
"You really did beat the Giant King..." he said.
"I take it this no common sword?" Marinette said.
"This is one of the 6 sacred swords of Miracula, powerful sowrds forged to fight off the Demon King, long ago, 6 legendary heroes united the 5 races to defeat the Demon King and his army, each one weilding a Sacred Sword of their own." Izzy explained.
Marinette was awestruck, prompting Izzy to continue.
"But 1 year after his defeat, the 6 Generals of the Demon King killed the 6 heroes and stole the sacred swords and hid themselves in their fortresses, which became dungeons, so far, only 3 were recovered, The Sword of the Archangel, Galaxine, The Sun Dragon Sword, Sol Drako, and now the Giant Slayer Sword, Gigasbane!" Izzy said.
Marinette's eyes lit up with wonder!
"Galaxine was in the possesion of Barron Gabriel Agreste, by order of the king, but after the disaster with his son Adrien, he was stripped of it as well as his title as a Noble." Izzy explained.
"Finally, Sol Drako is in the possesion of the leader of the Hero Party, Takato Matsuki." Izzy said.
Marinette had heard of him, a decendent of one of the legendary heroes, and one the strongest warriors in the kingdom.
"Marinette, that sword you now weild is more valuable than anything i've seen..."Izzy said.
"Good thing i don't intend to sell it!' she said with a smile.
"You intend to keep it?" Izzy said.
"Yeah, i've had to fight with my bare hands until now, and i could use a proper sword!" she chirped.
"Well, it's yours now, who knows, with your current strengh, you might just surpass Takato." he said.
Marinette smiled, "OH! that reminds me, what happened to Adrien?"
"That lunatic? he's rotting in a prison cell!" Izzy spat, "The bastard murdered his own party, he should have been hanged, but the council still thinks there's still good in him so they gave him three years!"
Marinette nodded as she took her leave...
At the City Gates...
The Hero Party made their way into Hyguard, with Takato leading the way alongside was his loyal friends, Guilmon, the Dragonfolk fighter, Tai Kamiya, the human Berserker, and St. Chloe Bougouis, the Elven Healer.
"This the place?" Takato asked.
"Yup Yup!" said Guilmon.
"Damn, it's been awhile..." said Chloe.
"Okay Chloe, lead the way, i'd like to meet the girl who found Gigasbane..." said Takato...
