#14- Maman and Papa!
Dupain-Cheng Bakery, one of the many bakeries found in Hyguard, but also the most popular.
When the Leaves of Rebirth made their way inside, T.K could smell fresh bread and rolls, making him drool slightly.
"Amazing huh?" Marinette said, "My Maman and Papa used to be the royal bakers, that is until Queen Audrey kicked them out!"
T.K tilted his head, "Bougouis? you mean?..."
"Yes, Chloe's Mom, but Chloe renounced her claim to the throne to train to be a healer, her sister, Zoe, is the current princess." Sabrina explained.
After a while, Marinette's mother, Sabine made her way downstairs, she was much shorter than her daughter, who had grown much since evolving into a full Beastman.
"Marinette? is that you?" Sabine said, her daughter nodded.
"Oh sweetie! i knew you were just a late bloomer! you've grown so much!" she said as she hugged her now well-built daughter.
"Guys, this my maman, Sabine." Marinette, she explained that before becomming a baker, she was a soldier for the royal army, she fought alongside the late King Andre when the Orcs and Ogres formed an alliance and waged war with the Beastmen and Humans."
"Whoa, that was her?" said Alix, Marinette nodded.
"Thank you for sending the money, thanks to you, we were able keep the bakery, you father was so proud of you." Sabine said.
"Where's Papa now?" asked Marinette.
"In jail, when the Tax collector came and we gave him the money, he actually had the audacity to make us pay extra simply because you were now leading an S-Rank party, you Father went berserk and broke his arm..." Sabine explained.
Marinette and her party all sweatdroped...
"No need to worry, he be out in a few days!" Sabine smiled, "Now, who's hungry?"
T.K smiled...
