"Is everything ready?" Bonnie asked, looking through the grimoire.

"Yes, stop worrying the more you worry." Lucy began

"More chances of mistakes, I know, but if he's ever freed, I don't know what allies he has," Bonnie said, her eyebrows furrowed, looking at the vampire's face.

Lucy smirked. "Who needs allies when you're a Bennett witch? I'm sure they chose him for a reason other than him double-crossing our family; if he has any allies, I'm sure even they won't find him here." Lucy said she knew her cousin was anxious, but they worked on a spell that would make it impossible for any locator spell to be done on him unless done by two Bennett witches or a Bennett and a Mikaelson. Though they planned on keeping the family together, they would do everything to protect their family.

Everyone they interacted with was compliant, and if they ran into witches along the way, they thought it was sisters and their partners. Bonnie put down the book and closed the coffin. She breathed out before stretching her hands out and taking Lucy's hand. The two witches started to chant, as they did. The forest around them grew quiet. Elijah, who was downstairs, felt a slight pressure in his ear that made him partially deaf. His teeth descended as if they were trying to take in the magic the girl was using. He smelled blood and raced upstairs to where they were, but the room was shut tight.

"Where are we?" Lucy asked to bring Bonnie back down to earth. She opened her eyes to look around and saw she was in the Bennett house.

"We're home," Bonnie said. She heard Hiwa running in their direction. She opened her hands for a hug but ran right through her. Lucy's eyebrows raised as Bonnie looked in her direction.

"So obviously not complete there." Lucy frowned, Bonnie nodded, and turned around to see they were at the door that she assumed led to the basement. She never explored that room; she never saw the reason to.

"Girl, what the fuck is going on? How do we get back?" Lucy fretted next to her. Bonnie shrugged her shoulders. She went up to the door and tried to turn the knob, expecting it to go through the door, but she had a firm grip on it. She turned to Lucy, who stepped closer to her. She tried to turn the knob, but it wouldn't budge.

Lucy put her hand over hers and turned to her, thinking that since the two came together, they'd have to do it together. When they opened the door, they immediately stepped back, and a girl fell. Bonnie stooped to touch her, but her hand went through. She grew worried, and her heart felt heavy. The girl's hand was bruised; she looked like she was at death's door.

"Ahhhhhh!" she heard Hiwa's piercing scream before she disappeared. She and Lucy both woke up on the floor.

Amaka rushed to see why Hiwa was screaming, with Zaci not far behind her. When she reached Hiwa, she saw Hiwa shaking a lady on the floor. Amaka pulled Hiwa behind her as Zaci took her place.

When Zaci placed her on her back, she gasped. She started to cry; it was her aunt. What cruel joke is this? Amaka pulled away from Hiwa and went next to Zaci on the floor.

"Aunt Kamali?" Amaka called out, staring at the person she thought was on the long list of people she had lost over time.

"You know her?" Zaci asked, and she nodded

"It's my father's sister; I haven't seen her in years we thought she died with." She stopped and tried to shake the tears that were threatening to come.

"Okay, help lift her to somewhere more comfortable," Zaci instructed, placing her hands under her shoulders to lift her. Amaka took her feet.

"I called Hope and told her to bring some healing blood," Hiwa said, coming into the room as they walked to the room downstairs.

"Hiwa, what did I tell you about using my phone?" Amaka scolded. She frowns, worried that the little girl might turn up.

"Don't worry, she's sent Aunt Freya to help," Hiwa said with a smile, sitting beside the woman on the bed. "Who is she?" she asked, poking Kamali's cheeks.

"Our aunt," Amaka said, swatting her hands away. Zaci, who left, came back with a bowl of disinfectant and water.

She took a cloth and wiped the witch down. The woman had a slight fever, and she started to murmur in her sleep.

"What's wrong with her?" Amaka asked. She wished she had learned more healing spells.

"Well, first of all, she's pregnant," Klaus said. Coming into the house, everyone jumped at the voice. Freya was right behind him. He ruffled Hiwa's hair and then turned to his sister.

"Would it be wise to give her my blood?" He asked. Just before Hiwa called Hope, he felt this helpless feeling. He couldn't help but wonder, looking at the witch with a similar magic signature to the Bennetts, if she knew of this girl's existence.

"No, well, save that as a last resort," Freya said as she examined the girl.

"Do we know who she is?" Freya asked Zaci,

"She's my aunt," Amaka said.

"Do you need any help?" Zaci asked

"Go into the garden and see if they have some lemongrass and ginger and boil it and bring it for me," Freya said. Zaci ushered everyone out of the room in protest and got to work.

"Klaus, have a doctor come," Freya said to him.

"What's wrong with her?" Klaus asked

"She is pregnant, plus I think she was linked to someone and they died so now," Freya said

"She's fighting death." Klaus said, "Are you sure?"

Freya nodded. It happened a few days ago, but she recognised the movements from the St. Johns' girl, whom she tortured. It explained why the bead on her bracelet broke because she was using Bennett's magic against Bennett.

"What is it?" he asked his sister, seeing the worried look on her face.

"The human I told you about, I think she's connected to them," Freya said. The girl showed signs of magic fatigue; her magic was there, but it was faint. "Plus, she has magic fatigue," she added.

"Where was she?" Klaus studied the girl, looking back at his sister, whose brows were creased looking at the results of the spells she did. He stepped closer to her to see that the water was dark yellow.

"I can't tell what's wrong with her," Freya said. Yellow usually means something unknown to magic is happening; she just hopes modern science can solve it. As to where she was, she has a pretty good idea. The witch was feeling the same way she did when Bonnie's bracelet bead broke; the energy around her was unpredictable and dense. She tried connecting to the girl's magic, but nothing; it wasn't responding as it should, even if she was asleep.

"I'll send the doctor, Rebekah's friend," Klaus said, touching her shoulder and then speeding off. He wondered if he should call Bonnie; he missed the sound of her voice and seeing her face and her little touches. He stopped. It's good that she's away for a while; it lets him know the extent of the bond.

As Klaus stepped into the mausoleum, he ran into Lucien again.

"I've seen you more than I've seen my reflection in the past week," Klaus Said

"Coming from you, that's an exaggeration." Lucien chastised, and Klaus stopped.

"Come, let me show you something," Klaus said, grabbing Lucien's forearm before rushing off.

They stopped on top of a building displaying the city's beauty. You could hear everything, see everything, and even feel everything—at least Klaus could. He liked being up here; it calmed him and reminded him that this city was worth it. The shrinking moon lit the sky. They heard a parade a few streets down, and Lucien looked at Klaus

"Why am I here?" he asked his sire. Klaus smiled at him before looking back at the view. The atmosphere here felt different; it was like he was seeing it with new eyes. Usually, the vibrant atmosphere of the city got him in a better mood, but he felt empty, like he was running on default. When he spoke to Lucien, he found himself not caring about getting him to appreciate the city; the desire to kill him was gone.

Klaus just craves peace for him, his city, Bonnie, and especially for Hope. Her first year of life was hard. He finally got to a place in her life where she was calm and she has everything she could want. All this could end if his family continues to prevail.

At a young age, she was already dedicated to her family, to always and forever, which means the world to her. He'd hate to have to leave her behind.

"Do you see this city?" Klaus asked, "It took me 5 years to reign it under my control."

"And what I'm a threat to this city?" Lucien asked, confused. He had no desire to take over such a questionable city. Klaus laughed

"Please, the city would reject you; I'm saying all things take time." Klaus said, "Time to plan, scheme, and backstab."

"All qualities that make a vampire," Lucien said

"There is no lesson here; Lucien, I'm not willing to learn," Klaus said. "Whatever it is that you're planning, why you're in this city, I already know; the city speaks to me."

"So whatever you guys are planning will be," Klaus continued

"It will be futile because the Mikealsons can't be killed." Lucien snorted. "Two of your brothers are gone." his voice rose. "You guys have to understand the stakes are raised; when you die, it's not just you; it's thousands of vampires that have created life," he ridiculed.

"You guys should be hiding; you're a losing race." Lucien said, getting quiet, "Would you really sacrifice a whole race in order to prove us wrong?"

"The Mikealsons do not need to hide from anyone, not for you, not for the fucked-up witch that lives in a dirt hut you found or the thousands of vampires who depend on me." Klaus roared "Whoever makes their move at my family will know a wrath beyond my own."

Lucien chuckled "You always said nature always created a loophole; who would have known it was true?" he said with arrogance.

"You are so foolish, so rash, Lucien; you took my worst traits." Klaus said, shaking his head at the vampire.

"I am nothing like you; I have worked for everything you have, even being a bloody vampire. I will be bet-" Lucien stopped himself

"I would kill you, but your life is not mine to take. I hope you enjoy your final days," Klaus said. He jumped off the roof, surprising some humans below. He walked easily, dismissing him, and he turned his head to where Lucien was standing, watching him and the way the moon directly shone on him. For a minute, Klaus thought he saw his brother; he shook his turn when he looked in the distance.

"Kol," he said so low that only his ears could have picked it up.

"Brother, can you see me?" Kol asked. He stretched his hands out, and Kol instinctively stepped back.

"How?" they both said, laughing at each other. Klaus tried again to reach out to his brother, but his hands went right through him. They stared at each other for a while.

"I missed you, Kol," Klaus said, breaking the silence and stunning Kol. He smiled at his brother.

"Why did you want to see me?" Klaus asked him, and Kol raised his eyebrows at him.

"I didn't do this," Kol said, Klaus just smiled

"But you were thinking about me? Was it just sentimental?" Klaus asked, looking him in the eyes.

"No, I don't want Davina to bring me back anymore. The price is too high." Kol sighed,

"It's being worked on, but getting your ashes," he said, touching his chin.

"She told me," Kol said, glaring at his brother.

"Kol, what is the price?" Klaus began to ask, but stopped himself. Davina. was a small price to pay to get Kol back, but his brother found love in her somehow, and he is no longer interfering in their love lives.

"It's close enough; I will convince her to let you try, but it'll be on a time limit; it's the only way," Kol said.

"You can't make such demands, brother," Klaus vexed.

"I didn't make the time limit; it's the time she has to complete the spell, the time I have left to convince her to stop; the cost is too high," he said. Whether he lives or dies, he must protect Hope.

"I won't fail you again, brother," Klaus said. He just hoped that there wasn't a price for his witch to pay.

Kol disappears, his heart lighter and filled with hope, with the promise of always and forever.

When Kol disappeared, Klaus felt grounded again. He looked around and saw everyone moving, but he was still on the roof. He looked around for Lucien, but he was long gone. Klaus sighed and took out his phone to call one of his hybrids.

He'll need them to watch Davina as much as they can; now that she's working for the strix, they would be able to detect them, but if he could even get a hint of what they were doing with her, he would know his next moves.

"Why is Freya upset with me for not sending my midwife?" Rebekah shouted when he answered his phone.

"Sorry, I got tied up before I could ask you," Klaus apologised. He jumped off the roof and started back to where Hope was. He agreed to watch her while Hayley went out.

"What happened? Is it Bonnie? Is she back and pregnant?" Rebekah asked, "Do you not think it's yours? We are not going through this again, Klaus," she exasperated.

"No, it's another Bennett witch. She just appeared apparently, but she's pregnant, and things are looking good for her," Klaus answered.

"It seems the Bennett family keeps pulling us into their lives," she complained, "if you had never chased that witch."

"You'd be half mad, Marcel would hate us, and you would still be lonely with no friends or lover." Klaus rolled his eyes "Don't think I noticed you're always where Zaci is," Klaus said

"I thought you said you were backing off." Rebekah protested

"I still need to safeguard this family, so back off with your love life and date any horrible man you come across. Now can you stop whining and call the midwife for us?" Klaus said he was stopping the complaints.

A few years before Rebekah was daggered in the 1920s, there was this midwife who couldn't have kids, and she thought Rebekah could help her with that, but when she couldn't, she asked to be turned so she could spend her time bringing children into the world and possibly curing infertility.

Amaka stepped into the room where Freya was with the doctor, listening to her. She stayed with the children while Zaci went to run some errands. Freya had slept over because she was worried something would happen to the girl.

"Are you guys okay?" Freya asked, turning away from the doctor and towards her. She nodded at the blonde witch.

"I'm just worried about when she will wake up and if the baby will be okay." Amaka said she was worried

Freya walked up to her and gave her a side hug to comfort her.

"She has the world's best healers with her, and everything is going to be okay." Freya consoled her. Except Bonnie. She said in her mind that Bonnie was not a healer, but her magic was powerful enough that it works better than most healers.

"Amaka, your aunt will be fine; she just needs rest. I think she's been through a lot, and her body is finally in a place where she can recover without fear." Freya assured the girl, and she nodded, taking in her words. She knew Freya wouldn't lie about something like this.

Amaka has lost so much in her life; she got someone back, and she wasn't willing to let it go.

"Why don't you go get started on breakfast, and then I'll have Tayen and Hope come over to keep you occupied? Maybe the sounds of joyful children will encourage her to wake up sooner," Freya said. Amaka smiled, nodded, and left Freya with the doctor.

With Amaka gone, Freya sighed. She hoped she could ease her mind a little. She's been through a lot, and now she finally has the chance to just be a child. Freya wasn't going to rob her of that. Tomorrow was school again, and Bonnie should be back by Wednesday.

Freya couldn't wait for her best friend to be back; she was the only person who understood what it was like to be her. Bonnie being here would ease her mind; together, they could brainstorm a way to wake her up if it got to that level of danger.

"Are you sure its safe to give her vampire blood?" Freya asked. The doctor, Vanicka, nodded.

"Yes, it'll help heal her wounds, and it won't affect the baby." Dr. Vanicka told Freya.

"I have worked with witches before, and I have given pregnant women vampire blood, both human and, if willing, some witches too," she told Freya with certainty. Freya nodded and consented. Vanicka took the needle and injected her with blood. Her wounds instantly healed, her face looked more delicate, and it was left with a soft glow. When Freya touched her combed hair, it looked like she had made the right decision.

"Will I be her doctor until she gives birth?" The vampire asked her, and she nodded.

"I think its best for her to have an at-home doctor," Freya said. She nodded and smiled.

"I'm worried about her not eating; the vampire blood will help for now." Dr. Vanicka said

"But she should have other means, I know; right now we can't do anything. Just pray she wakes up before it affects the baby too," Freya said.

"Please wake up, Kamali," Freya pleaded, squeezing her hands softly.
