"Who are you?!" Giles demanded to know.
"Alexander McCleod, formerly Alexander Harris, this is my girlfriend, Cordelia Chase. We're from another reality. Buffy, I don't see you calling people, you really are bad at following orders. You'd never make it in the military."
She glared at him and went to call everyone.
"So, Giles." Xander said angrily, too pissed over the presence of Darla to bother curbing his tongue. "Yet another reality where you can't be bothered to do your job."
"To what are you referring to, young man?' Giles asked frostily.
"Not verifying the soul curse or the details of it. Hell, you didn't even verify the fact that there was a soul. Allowing Buffy to have a relationship with a demon infested walking corpse, just because it claimed to have a soul. How many people did Darla kill after the vampire got what it needed to break the curse? Angel, the vampire she screwed in our reality, killed over a hundred and tried to end the world. A number that included, Jenny Calender, your girlfriend, by the way."
"Xander." Cordelia said. "Calm down. I get that you're angry and who could blame you, but yelling at Giles isn't helping anything."
With a final glare Xander retreated up to the mezzanine level of the library and sat down on the top step.
"You're from another reality?" Giles said hesitantly.
"Yes." Cordelia told him. "We arrived and found Buffy fighting alot of vampires. From the cult of Balthazor."
"Balthazor is dead, he was killed a century ago." Wesley told them. "The cult is nearly extinct."
"No, he isn't and neither is the cult." Xander said. "Ask Deputy Mayor Finch here. He knows all about it. But I suggest you wait until the rest of the group gets here."
"Very well. Perhaps you could do something to prove who you are." Giles suggested.
Xander pulled out his wallet and tossed both his current ID and old Sunnydale one tucked away in it to him.
"I had my middle and last names legally changed in the last reality we were in. It is only legal in that reality, but I intend to continue calling myself Alexander Eric McCleod. I do not want to be associated with Tony Harris ever again."
"Why not?" Giles asked absently as he examined the ID's.
"You don't pay much attention do you? Because he's an abusive drunk."
Which had Giles looking up sharply. He handed the ID's back and they waited in silence for everyone to arrive.
Alexandria Harris arrived first.
"Wow." Said Xander. "How the Hell do I make a hot looking girl?"
"What?" Said Alex.
"I'm you, from another reality."
She stared at him.
"Oh for. Scar, right hip. Broken bottle. We were ten."
"No one knows that. Not even Willow or Jessie ever knew."
"Wait." Faith said. "You said Jesse, the closest thing to a brother you ever had." To Xander.
"Yes."
"Jessie was like a sister to me. Spike killed her." Alex told him.
"And turned her?" Xander asked. "Did she dust on a stake you were holding at the Harvest?"
"Yes."
"So did my Jesse."
The next to arrive was Cord.
"Let me guess, he plays football here?" Xander asked. Cordelia was slightly above average in height for a woman. Cord was probably six two.
"I'm the quarterback." He told them. "Who are you?"
"I'm you from another reality." Cordelia told him. "Deal with it."
The last to arrive was Willow.
"Hi, everyone. What's going on?" She chirped. Xander slowly stood and walked towards her.
"Who are you?" She asked, staring at him.
"Someone you don't know."
"You said you knew her in your reality." Buffy said.
"You're from another reality?" Willow asked, eying Xander.
"I said I knew Willow. This isn't Willow." Xander answered.
"What do you mean?!" Buffy asked bewildered. "This is too Willow."
"No, this is something possessing Willow. I See you."
"What do you mean, See?" Giles asked sharply.
"I mean I have a psychic ability. Local me does too, just probably doesn't know it yet. I See what is hidden. I See you. Whoever you are possessing Willow."
"Willow isn't possessed." Buffy said. "We'd know."
"We encountered another version of me in another reality." Cordelia offered. "She'd been possessed for nearly a year and no one who knew her, knew. The demon was able to convincingly pretend to be her."
"She did look like she was possessed when she did that weird spell at the hospital." Cord pointed out. "All black eyed and talking in a weird language."
"Guys, I'm not possessed." Willow protested. "You believe me right? You know me!"
"For once, Giles do your damn job." Xander told him. "A containment circle and a diagnostic spell are in order here."
"You know about diagnostic spells?" Giles asked.
"An extremely powerful witch told me that they're Magic 101 and should be done after every magical event. Amy being body jacked by her mother, all the people Catherine Madison did spells on, the hyena possession. Halloween. Did any of these things happen here?"
"Yes, they did." Alex said. "Cord got possessed by the hyena and tried to mate with Buffy."
"Because she's the strongest female or was at the time." Xander agreed. "Did you do magical diagnostics after any of them, Giles?"
"No, I didn't. It didn't occur to me."
"Even though Watchers are trained in Magic use?"
"Yes. I just never thought about it."
"You dropped the ball, Giles. Alot. I suggest you don't do it any more. In other realities Willow uses Magic to mind rape people, to manifest a second personality that kills people and tries to end the world within just a few short years. You could prevent all of that if you just do a diagnostic on her."
"I have the ingredients in my office. I'll do so now."
"It's not necessary." Willow protested.
Xander grabbed her and held on. "I want you out of Willow."
Buffy moved towards them, only to be stopped by Faith. "We're going to find out one way or another B. Don't make me fight you."
Giles came back out of his office and set up the containment circle. Then he cast the diagnostic spell.
"What is that?" Buffy asked, staring at the dark cloud enveloping Willow's head.
"That's what's possessing her." Wesley said. "And I think it's capable of growing."
"Meaning what?" Buffy asked.
"Meaning the longer it possesses her the stronger it gets."
