"Guys we have been good friends for almost... three months now... so..." Pansy continued talking nervously.
"Oh, come on get it over with pans" ginny said rolling her eyes, ron glared at her.
They were all standing in the old washroom that was at the back of the college canteen (except Seamus, who was absent today) rather nervously about what they are going to do.
"Okay, is everyone here...Uh, where is seamus". Pansy asked.
"Oh, don't worry... he is not interested in this" dean said and others looked at him curiously.
"Oh...Okay" pansy continued "then i have to take one name out" she said and took out one name from the paper rollings in her hands.
"What... we are not choosing who we want".
"No, it can cause some problems... what if two guys want one girl" pansy said not pointing to anyone, but harry noted Draco for some reason glaring at him, without no one noticing.
"Okay, now i have the boys name in these... The girls are going to choose, we are not going to change the names afterwards, whoever you going to choose will be your sex partner, for the year" pansy said, her gaze finally settling on ron and hermione, who for some reason looked like they are avoiding each other.
"First who is going to go...Ginny?"
"Um...no, we are just going to watch you lot, cause I'm with Draco already and we will be the partners" ginny said, draco smirked in triumph.
Ron looked at the ceiling, hus face red, dean and harry sighed in disappointment.
"Okay, Draco is out...Now... luna come forward" luna and pansy, just broke up last month, as they are both realised they are not into each other.
Luna took a paper and read out, the name "Neville" she said smiling and held out her hands for him.
Neville blushed, bright red and made his way to stand beside her, the others sniggered at his behaviour.
"Oh, wait for your turn gits" he said to the boys, who all suddenly shut their mouth.
"Now...Me" pansy said and took one "Harry" she read and harry walked over to stand beside her, looking somewhat torn between disappointment and happy.
He is happy he got pansy, who was also a nice and sexy girl... but it would have been so good if it was ginny he got instead of pansy.
But then you would have had to face the wrath of ron and Draco together, he thought.
Hermione winked at him.
"Now, i have two names, but I'll give you four a chance... you can say who you want to get paired with" pansy said pointing to ron and Hermione, giving them a chance.
Dean was smiling goofily, standing between astoria and hermione, two gorgeous girls. Ron and hermione looking anywhere other than each other and Astoria looking like, she wants to say something.
"Well... Alright then, if you don't know who you want... then Hermione and Dean will mak..."
"No" Hermione said quickly "Um...Uh...I..I..."
Harry smirked, pansy rolled her eyes, others looking at her expectantly and dean was smiling at astoria, atleast i got her, he thought.
"I'll pair with ron" she said, everyone can feel the heat emitting from her, her body become flush.
Ron, who looked same as Hermione, was finding it hard to breathe, ginny silently laughed at her brother and made sure to taunt him about that later.
"Oh... okay, then ron is with Hermione and dean is with astoria.
Now it's not like you are in a relationship or anything, we are just studying... an act which we want some experience and...Um...Well... we don't study here, so we help each other... so more like friends with benefits, there is no feelings.
During the period, if you got into a relationship with not your partner, then you should stop the um...sex, i don't promote cheating".
They all nodded
"We don't have to start today and straight go into the main part...
We can start with kissing and foreplays like that"
Again they all nodded
"Right and... you discuss about your progress with the rest of your same gender"
They all looked skeptical at that.
"Now. I know it's personal, but we are not in a relationship, like i said... we are studying and it's completely natural to share your knowledge"
They all shrugged at that.
"Okay, so next week then... Let's do this" she said.
Ron knocked unsurely at the door of Granger's residence.
It had been two days since the pair up, no one in the group started any study sessions together.
Him and hermione, mostly avoided each other for the most part.
It wasn't until pansy said enough is enough, that every one starts to do it today and will tell what happened tomorrow. Then hermione messaged him the time to come to her house.
He at first, couldn't believe it, did hermione really messaged him or it was his imagination.
So here he is at the doors of her big house, knocking unsurely, still doubting the message is really from her or someone hacked his phone.
The doors opened and a middle aged looking guy appeared "yes... May i help you" he asked.
"Um... hello sir, im ron weasley Hermione's friend, she asked me to come here for...(oh shit, what should i tell him)... Playing video games..." He just said the first thing that came to his mind.
looked him up and down, like he has a second head "My daughter asked you to come here for playing... video games?" He asked suspiciously narrowing his eyes.
Ron gulped loudly and nodded his head, he was already sweating.
"Who is it dear" just then another middle aged women came behind him(must be her mum).
Oh god, one by one everyone's coming out, who is next. Ron thought
"Oh, some friend of hermione, here to play video games" he said the last part sniggering as if to mock him.
Mrs. Granger looked at him with interest "Oh, my name is helen, this is my husband richard..." She held out her hand.
"I'm ronald weasley" he shook his hands with her.
"Oh, where are my manners... Please come in dear" she said and hit her husband at the back for him to move, so ron could enter in "mione" she called upstairs.
Mione eh?... ron thought.
"So... just a friend?" She asked quirking one of her eyebrows and still looking at him suspiciously.
"Ye...Yes mam. Just A friend" ron said his ears red.
Hermione came and stood at the top of the stairs "Hi ron" she said breathless her face red.
Mr. Granger looked at her strangely and helen laughed "Oh, don't worry sweetheart. We are not going to eat your 'just friend'... You know".
"Mum... Please" she said rolling her eyes at the just friend phrase. "Ron is here to study"
Oh shit he should have said that.
Hermione liked her mother so much, but sometime, she hates her. She is always a match maker, just because she is more interested in studying doesn't mean she is not interested in relationship and this is the first time, a guy other than harry visits her.
"Okay... studying then, no video games need to get angry now".
"Ron... come on" she said beckoning him, who followed obediently.
Ron entered the floor, it looked so nice and expensive with polished woods, better than his home anyway.
There was three rooms and one at the start was hers, she opened her room, it was so big, his mouth went opened at the sight.
"Wow..You have a big house" he said and turned around, he frowned.
Hermione had her arms across her chest and was glaring at him.
"What?".
"What did you said to them?"
"Oh... Huh. You called me here to play video games"
"Oh shit. My parents are going to get suspicious now"
"Why...What happened"
"What happened? I don't play video games you stupid"
"Why not?... Don't say me its because you are a girl"
"No... but im more interested in studying than stupid video games".
She said and sat on her bed, ron sat few inches away from her in her bed. Both of them suddenly realising what are they here for, so they become silent.
They looked away from each other for some time, before ron broke the silence.
"Ah fuck it, it's so weird" ron groned.
Hermione looked at him.
"Ever since the meeting, you are avoiding me, i don't even know why. Will you just talk to me already".
"I'm sorry... It's just i haven't done this before, I'm don't have any experience and i think im shy".
"I haven't done this kind of stuff before too... No girls approached me"
"Yeah... me too"
"What... no girls approached you?" He asked with a slight smile, Hermione glared at him.
"Sorry, just trying to diffuse the tension..." He said and sighed.
They were silent for some other moments before ron spoke again "you have experience kissing harry... right?"
"It was hardly something, you can call it a peck, I was scared to even touch lips with him, it was so bad and awkward, just once an experimental kiss, which lasted not even half a minute"
"I know harry said the same thing"
"Have you... you know kissed someone"
"Yeah..." he said and hermione suddenly felt a ray of small jealousy at not being his first kiss.
"Well... who is it?" She demanded.
"My aunt muriel"
"What?" Hermione asked shocked... incest?
"Oh nothing like that... It's just she kissed me on the lips, when i was five, that's it" he said and hermione laughed with relief and again they went silent.
"Look...We dont have to do anything, if you don't want to. We can just lie to them that something happened alright?"
"Really?"
"Yeah"
"You okay with that"
"Yeah...I mean... if we going to know about that, then i want your permission dont i?"
"I'm sorry ron... It's not that...I don't want to do it. But I think I'm not ready yet"
He sighed and nodded "So what can we do then"
"Hmmm... how about we complete your maths homework"
Ron groaned "Hermione please... lets have some fun"
"But homework is fun...Besides, you don't want another punishment from professor snape now do you"
"But I don't want to do it now, we can do it some time... later"
She sighed "you behave like a child ron...Okay, then what you wanna do?"
"Let's play some games".
Sometimes later knocked on Hermione's door, it was so late.
They didn't come out for so long, he can't help but get suspicious.
Hermione opened the door, beaming... looking so happy.
The boy was on the floor with game cards sprawled on the floor, also smiling.
"Hi... dad, what is it?".
"Sorry dear, but it's so late... You know" he touched his watch to show her.
"Oh... sorry we were just playing games" she said and her father looked at her in amusement.
He could never make her close the book in all those years to have some fun, not even her friend harry could do.
This guy really must have an influence on her.
"Er...I think, i must leave now. It's too late"
They both looked at ron, standing awkwardly to disturb the father-daughter talk.
"Um... okay ron, see you tomorrow then" hermione said.
"Yeah..." He walked past them.
He reached downstairs and saw helen in the kitchen counter drying the plates with a towel "Finished playing with my daughter?..." She asked pointedly.
He swallowed "Um...Yeah" he practically ran out of the house, making to laugh hard.
