Garrett pulled his phone out without hesitation, scrolling through the contact list, before finding the number and handing me the phone.

I sighed, "Go, get some rest, ladies, we're going to need all the rest we can get for the next few hours." I told them as I got up and turned to stare out the massive window.

I listened to the phone ring, before it connected and someone finally answered.

"What happened, Garrett?" Edwin barked as he answered.

"Edwin. It's me." I replied calmly.

"Isabella, how may I be of assistance?" He asked, politely.

"I've got a plan and I need your help." I finally said.

"A plan? What sort of plan?" He asked me, intrigued.

"Edward told me there is quite a few events coming up before the actual wedding… and I heard quite a few things while we were kidnapped earlier. Things that could be quite useful to our advantage…" I told him, before telling him a few things.

The line was quite for the length of a few heart beats, before I heard him humming,"Interesting." He mumbled

"Are you following what I am saying?" I asked.

"Yes, I am." he replied, slowly.

"Great. So, I was thinking that Rose and Alice could help with the little stake out Edward and I will be doing… what to you think?" I asked.

"How so…?" He asked.

"Well…" I mumbled before I began explaining everything I heard.

Exactly two weeks later the day of the Bridal Luncheon finally arrived. It would be the first of many events that we would be attending.

Edwin had agreed to them attending, with Jasper and Emmett as their dates. Much to my annoyance… and the girls.

We were still staying at the hotel, by choice. Feeling safer than traveling back to the house. Despite Felix practically begging us to reconsider, I chose to stay out at the hotel, meaning the girls stayed here with me too.

A few more days passed before Felix showed up, and informed me that the girls and I had to move to the safe house, because our location had been found.

It was located close to the hotel, and in between both the Massimo and Savinelli homes.

The house was cottage-like, had a gate and a small yard to keep a few guards around if we needed to.

It has three rooms on the top floor and two on the bottom. Two bathrooms on top, a whole bathroom, and a half bathroom.

The kitchen is small, yet spacious and cozy. Had all the top of the line appliances.

It even has a back patio, with a privacy wall. Along with a small yard. Felix told me that our Nonna had asked that a herb, vegetable, and fruit garden be planted on half of the yard. The other half had a small flower garden. Sitting between both was a small gazebo which had a swing inside.

When we arrived Felix had six security guards on the premises. He told me that the house across the road was occupied by the second set of guards.

Knowing this fact allowed us to relax.

The morning of the event, the girls and I got up and showered before heading down to make breakfast.

The event itself was the Bridal Groom Luncheon. Garrettt told me that, though the main focus was supposed to be the bride, the family called a few days ago and changed it, last minute, to both, so that both families, associates, and friends could attend.

The attire had to be casual yet formal, so the ladies and I wore sundresses.

I wore a light yellow, flower print, shoulder less, floor-length dress, with white platform wedge sandals. I curled the tips of my hair, and slid on a thick white headband to keep my hair off my face. I kept the eye makeup neutral, yet slightly bold, and applied lip liner to make my lips look poutier.

Rose wore a high-waisted, floral, pleated skirt, and a white off-the-shoulder crop top. She bought a pair of white heels that matched perfectly. She had a smokey eye that made her blue eyes twinkle, and bold red lipstick that made her lips extra pouty.

Alice went with a floor-length, high thigh slit, powder blue, spaghetti strap floral dress. She bought a pair of white criss-cross strappy gladiator lace up stiletto sandals, replacing the leather straps with silk ribbons. She curled her black hair, combed through the curls to give her hair a retro look. She then applied bold colored lipstick, and did a cat-eye eyeliner.

Felix was supposed to pick us up, but Demetri called to tell me Sienna and he were on the way because a problem had come up for Felix and he had his hands tied.

He arrived shortly after the call, and escorted us to the SUV.

The drive to the event was tense and silent.

Rose kept her eyes glued to the window. Watching the scenery we passed we drove the long driveway.

As we stopped in front of the house the men appeared at our sides as we were escorted through the house, and towards back gardens.

Edward pulled my arm through the bend of his arm, as we walked outside.

"Sei ancora arrabbiato con me?" He asked me quietly. (Are you still angry with me?)

I nodded, as I pretended to look around the garden.

"Perdonami. Non sapevo che fosse quello che avevano intenzione di fare." He whispered as we slowly greeted his associates and the family of the bride. (Forgive me. I didn't know that that was what they planned to do.)

"Now is not the time to speak about this." I replied, flatly.

Once the pleasantries were done, we made our way to where the rest of the family was sitting.

I grabbed a mimosa as I sat down between Rose and Sienna. It seemed I wasn't the only one who was still angry.

We all went through the motions, placing fake smiles on our faces as people walked up to us and tried to make small talk with us.

I was about to head to the bathroom to try to do a little bit of scoping and snooping, when Edward stopped me, and leaned in to me.

He looked around before pulling me in the direction of the small dance floor that was placed, and spun me onto there.

He leaned down to speak into my ear, as we danced. "Don't go anywhere by yourself, Endrizzi and his family just walked in." He told me.

"Where?" I asked, trying to stay calm.

"Relax, principessa. My father spoke to the heads of the families. We got the green light to get married as soon as possible." He informed me.

I looked up at him surprised. "Really?" I asked as he spun me around.

"Yes. We can leave and do this as soon as this event is over if you'd like." He told me.

I sighed, "I'm still angry with you…. You have no idea what we saw and went through." I told him.

He frowned, "Did they touch you?" He asked, in a too calm voice.

I shook my head as he spun me around. "No. I did have to get my hands dirty and that's not something I want to do." I replied.

"I'm sorry for not taking your worries seriously, princess. Also for breaking my promise to you. Forgive me, please." He whispered.

"If I forgive you, you need to be honest with me. No more hiding shit from me… that will only put me in danger… also, my cousin said that you needed to explain to me what the rules are…" I replied as the song ended, and I pretended not to know what the rules were.

Felix wanted me to test him. If he failed that meant he didn't trust me, and there was no point to continue this farce.

He sighed and nodded, "I'll explain to you what I can." He finally told me.
