With the following week Jenrya was trusted back into an ocean of stress, but with the help of friends and lover he managed to push through most of it. His journey to the weekend proved far easier than before. The journey was rough but the destination he was all the more eager for. For you see, this was no ordinary Saturday. Today was a special Saturday. Though both the nature of his relationship to Renamon and the concept of romance itself was still foreign to him he could not hide.

Dressed in his usual attire and carrying a laptop bag Jenrya made his way to the Makino house.

All seemed normal until he saw Ruki pop out in a large hoody looking as if she was hiding from someone.

"What's up with her?"

Once near her he tried to call out her name only to be silenced.

"Hey Ruki! What's...mmmrph!"

Jenrya was pushed and dragged far from where they previously stood where no eyes could easily see him.

"Shh! Shut up dammit! What is mom or grandma hear?"

Jenrya struggled to get free and eventually she got off him. Drapped over his hand was a strange fabric he didn't understand the feel to, but it seemed expensive. Silk? Cashmere? He couldn't tell you for sure but getting freedom and having a better look at Ruki showed that her big coat fine blouse and, a skirt? Her of all people wearing a skirt?

"Whoa, Ruki. Damn girl. You two have been dating for that long now?"

Ruki was quick to get upset and defensive but was shut down by her friend quick.

"Hey girl easy easy! Takato told me you two were a thing already. Chill."

"Oh he did did he...huh. So uh, You are not mad?"

"Huh? Why?"

Ruki's question took the boy by surprise. Not as much as being dragged away and gagged, but not too far.

"I mean..."

"What is it Ruki? My two best friends are a thing. That's awesome! What'd you think I'd be jealous or something? Come on you are a great gal but you know I am not the jealous type. That's a nice get up though jeez..."

Ruki breathed easier knowing her situation was both accepted by one of her closest friend's and that she had to explain nothing.

"Yeah I decided to try something new using all of the crap mom sometimes makes me wear. This stuff is among the few that ins't some lame pink colour. So I figured Takato might look me to look nice for our date so..."

"You look gorgeous, Ruki."

A third voice cutting into their conversation scared Ruki dearly to such a degree that for the first time in her life she chose to hide behind someone else doing up her hoodie and hiding behind Jenrya. She was quick to come to her senses realising it was Renamon's voice and breathed heavily like she'd just run a marathon.

The sight of Renamon resting on a near by wall brought Jenrya far greater join than she did do her partner who just felt relieved no matter how heavy she breathed.

"Good to see you again!"

Jenrya said little but she knew why he was here. With Ruki soon to leave now was an ideal time.

"And it's nice to see you as well, Jenrya."

Both turned to look at Ruki who left Jenrya's side.

"Fuck that was close..."

"Ruki, you won't have to worry about them finding you. Mother is on the phone with one of her agents and grandmother is currently deeply enthralled with some television show. You are free to escape. Just don't forget your change of clothes."

Renamon moved from her spot to brandish a bag to hand to Ruki that she'd forgotten while sneaking out.

"Oh god oh fuck. Thank you Renamon."

"You will be fine. You have been with Takato so far but you'd best hurry. Oh and Ruki.

"Yeah Renamon?"

Renamon pulls Ruki into a brief hug before releasing her.

"Enjoy the date."

Jenrya chimed in as well.

"Yeah go gettem!"

"This is a little too gushy for me but you two are great, thanks."

Ruki fled the scene leaving Renamon and Jenrya alone.

Jenrya was amazed at how he managed to reach that point with little effort. Soon the two would hear the revving of a bike from a distance as Ruki swiftly drove away from the scene.

"Wow. This...happened a lot easier than I expected."

"Indeed. You picked a most ideal time to come in see me. Shall we take our leave then?"

"Yeah lets... Oh wait! First thing is first!"

Jenrya stops to open his case. Inside there are a few things with the first he pulled out being pair of flowers, two golden chrysanthemums.

"Here."

He extends the gift to her. They were simple, but gorgeous and easy on her eys.

"They were tough to maintain in there. I tried be careful as I came after Ruki pratically tackled me

I was afraid they were ruined, but they look fine after all. I would have given you a full bouquet but, uh..."

She stops him to chime in.

"I understand, Jenrya. Can't be too suspicious right now. It seems Ruki and I have something else in common now."

Renamon's comment about their situation got a faint chuckle out of the young man.

"Yeah. I guess we do. Also she could of, I don't know, waited until they were gone before putting on the nice outfit?" said Jenrya.

This earned a similar giggle from Renamon. "Haha, I concur. Ruki is not quite as forward-thinking a she'd like to be when it comes to Takato. I found that out sometime ago" replied Renamon. "That explains why she still left on the bike." Jenrya laughed

The vixen took a look and a whiff of her new flowers. "Thank you so much."

Jenrya, being part where he was from, was never one to be excessive with direct eye contact but looking at that twinkle in her eyes as she gave him a genuine thank you was sweet sight impossible for him to look away from. Well, at least until he remember what else he had to give.

"Oh yeah and one more thing."

From his bag he pulled out a large wrapped up heart-shaped chocolate.

"Here."

"Another gift? My, you are the sweet one."

She happily accepted his second gift.

"This gift... is nice. Funny enough it is a familiar one."

"A familiar one?"

Renamon looks away from her gifts back to the young man who gave them.

"Perhaps. I will tell you sometime in the future, Jenrya. Allow me just a moment to take care of these and I shall return."

Renamon vanished. Reappearing back in her home she nimbly sneaked through her house without a sound. Assuring herself that the kitchen was clear she swiftly hid her candy in the fridge and left the kitchen with the largest glass she can find full of water for her plants.

Entering her room she gave the beautiful little golden pair of flowers a final gaze and vanished

Back outside Jenrya eagerly waited for her return. He practically jumped when she reappeared in front of him. Thankfully he had control and a desire not to draw the attention of her family.

"Oh! Welcome back. You ready, Renamon?"

"Quite."
