"Liv, why do you have a wedding dress in the back of your closet?"

Fitz hung up the bag and unzipped it fully so he could see it. The full ballgown skirt coming out of it was taking up the doorway of the closet. The jewels on it caught the light making it shine from the top to the bottom of the gown. Olivia ran from her room to his seeing him stare at it.

"I didn't know you were married," Fitz said looking at her.

"I'm not."

"It's a beautiful dress. I didn't know you were engaged either."

"I'm not."

"What? Then what's with…" Moving fast in front of him, Liv put the dress back into the bag and zipped it up. Something was wrong with her, I can tell. "Liv, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I'll put it back."

"No. I should have taken care of it before. I'll take care of it now." Grabbing the hanger, she took it out to the kitchen and put it in the trash.

"Olivia? You don't need to throw it away," Fitz came over and took it out of the can.

"I should have thrown it away years ago!"

Hanging it on the back of the hallway closet door by her coat, Fitz came back to her in the kitchen and slowly put his hand on her arm, careful not to scare her. "You shouldn't throw it away. It's very pretty. You would look stunning in it. Just keep it in the spare closet."

Shaking her head, ready to argue that she was getting rid of it, the buzzer sounded for the pizza arriving. Letting him up, she grabbed a few dollars out of her purse for the tip and gave it to the driver.

"Plates are in the cupboard and there's beer in the fridge. Would you mind pouring me a glass of wine?" Liv shouted from the living room setting the food down on the coffee table.

Fitz got the plates after looking through the bare cupboards. Opening the fridge, he took out what she asked. "Popcorn, beer, and wine are not the healthiest diet, Ms. Pope," he told her coming into the living room. "That's all you have here. What do you eat?"

"Popcorn and wine. The beer is for Huck and Jerry."

"No wonder you're so thin."

"Thank you?"

Handing her a plate of pizza, they stayed silent while they ate and drank for a bit. Knowing he probably wouldn't get an answer, he had to at least try. "Why do you have a wedding dress?"

"I don't want to talk about it."

"You don't want to talk about a lot of things," he stated. "Sorry, I'm not trying to be rude. I'm just… I'm trying to get to know you a bit better. And it seems like every time I bring up a subject to talk about or try to ask you, you get defensive or pissed at me."

Giving it some thought, she finished her glass of wine and set it down on the table. "I don't mean to be that way. I told you before, I'm only trying to be professional with you."

"Liv, I'm spending the weekend at your apartment, alone with you. I think that's far from professional," he laughed.

"True, I suppose we aren't professional."

Changing the subject, Fitz looked over at her on the other end of the couch. "What do you do on the weekends? I don't want to be in your way."

Laughing, Liv tipped her head back on the couch looking at the ceiling. "Work."

"Come on, you do more than work. Right? You have some sort of social life?"

"My social life is right here," she waved the phone in her hand. "This is what I do."

"What about your Huck guy? Doesn't he ever go out with you? You guys go to a movie or something?"

"No, Huck is with his wife and son. They went to her parents for the weekend."

"You're friends with a married man?"

"Like you don't have single female friends?"

"Not really, actually. They're all married. You said Huck comes over. His wife is okay with that?"

"Yeah, we're all friends. Sometimes she even sleeps over with Javi. He's my godson. Kim gets the situation. Well, as much as she can."

"Could you explain the situation to me?"

"No."

Hearing the tone she used, Fitz decided not to push. Maybe if he got her to be more comfortable with him, she would tell him. "So, Javi? What's he like?"

"He's my little man. He's three and loves soccer. He'll probably play on a league when he grows up." Flipping through her pictures she found one of him on the soccer field and her kissing his cheek after she caught him. "That's him."

"He's adorable. I wanted to have kids, but Mellie was against it."

"They can be a blessing and a curse."

"That's true. But I think the good outweighs the bad." Looking at the clock under her tv, Fitz saw it was already ten. "We should head to bed. Separately of course," he added when he saw her eyebrow lift.

"You go ahead, I've got a couple things I want to finish first."

"I'll stay up with you then."

"Fitz, it's alright. I'll be fine going by myself," she told him standing up to get the plates and glasses and go to the kitchen.

Showing him where the bathroom was, Liv left him alone and changed in her room out of her work clothes into a set of yoga pants and a tank top. Grabbing her reading glasses, she went to the dining room and started going through files.

Getting into his shorts and a t-shirt, Fitz came out of the bathroom ready to go to bed. Looking at her at the table, he just smiled. "Night, Liv."

"Good night, Fitz," she looked after her glasses at him.

Damn she's sexy. How can reading glasses make her even sexier than she is?

Sitting at the table for several hours, Liv stayed as quiet as she could so he could sleep. At two her phone started ringing as it always did every morning.

"Morning Mia," she said just above a whisper answering the phone. "How's it in Rome?"

"A few minor issues but nothing that needs to concern him. Not yet anyway. I think I can take care of these myself."

"You're sure? I can have Fitz look at it if he needs to."

"Just a few minor complaints. I'll take care of it."

"Okay, call me if there's any changes. Talk tomorrow."

Hanging up the phone, Liv jotted down some notes into a folder waiting for the next call. Without having to look at her phone she picked it up when it rang. "Good morning, Charlotte, Paris holding down well?"

"As always. It's a beautiful morning here."

"Isn't it always beautiful in Paris?" she laughed as she stood up to get the ice cream from the freezer and a spoon. "Everything else good?"

"Couldn't be better. Call you tomorrow."

"Have a good day, Charlotte."

Putting notes in another folder, Liv stood at the counter eating her mint ice cream out of the container.

"Who is in Paris?"

"Holy shit!" she jumped hearing another voice in her apartment. Looking up from her spoon she saw Fitz standing in the doorway of the living room looking at her. "You scared the hell out of me!"

"It's almost three in the morning and you're still awake. What are you doing?"

"I told you, I'm working." Taking another bite as she looked at Fitz shirtless before her, the next call came in. "Damien, how is Moscow?"

"Great. And America?"

"Perfect as always. No issues?"

"None here," Damien answered. "Any others?"

"Mia has a couple, but she says she can handle it. Talk tomorrow."

Fitz stared at her while she talked. Paris? Moscow? What are you doing? Taking a few steps towards her, he put the ice cream lid on the container and put it away. "It's time for bed."

"No, it's time for work." Moving away to the table, her next call was ready. She looked at the phone but was surprised at the person calling. "Nicholas? I talked to you a few hours ago, everything okay?"

"Liv, it's not good. This is going to be a situation."

"A situation? How bad?"

Fitz took the phone out of her hand and put it to his ear. "Nicholas? I don't know what kind of a situation you're in, but it will have to wait until daylight. Liv needs to get some sleep," Fitz told him and hung up.

"What are you doing?" Liv yelled grabbing the phone back from him.

"Putting you to bed. It's three in the morning on a SATURDAY morning. You need to get some rest. You'll be of no use to anyone without it."

"Just because you do not work on a Saturday does not mean that everyone has the day off. This is what I do. I need to get Nicholas back and find out the problem. Beijing was fine a few hours ago. Something happened." Scrolling down her phone, she got his number ready to call.

"Beijing? What the hell is in Beijing?"

Ignoring his question, Liv waited for Nicholas to pick up. "What happened? Is anyone hurt?"

"Not hurt, just arrested."

"Who got arrested? For what?"

"Lee did. I'm not sure for what yet. The police came in and had an arrest warrant for him."

"Who let them past the front desk without reading the warrant?"

"New receptionist girl. She wasn't thinking, I guess."

"Find out why he was arrested and call me."

"IN THE MORNING!" Fitz yelled. Watching her hang up, Fitz wanted to take her phone and chuck it out the window but resisted. "Happy now? You know who was arrested."

"I don't have time for this," she scolded and turned her attention to the table looking for a file. "Go back to bed, Fitz. I'll keep it down, so I won't wake you."

Staying where he was, Fitz looked at her seeing she was back to complete work mode. He was used to this Olivia. Nothing was going to distract her from the task at hand. "What can I do?"

"Find Beijing. It's on this table."

Looking all over for it, Liv moved everything around searching. Fitz leaned over the chair and found it. "You need to sleep. If you weren't sleep deprived you would have seen this at the very top," he said holding it up.

"I am not sleep deprived. I'm perfectly fine. Thank you for the folder. I'll take it from here. Go get some sleep."

"As much as I want to argue about this right now, I'm exhausted but you had better believe that you and I are going to have a conversation about this in the morning."

"It is morning."

"When the sun rises, smart ass."

Taking a seat, Liv put on her glasses, ignoring his comment as he went back to bed. Going through the rest of her calls, she kept up her work and made the notes she needed. By the time she was finished it was nearly eight. Okay. Fitz's is still asleep. I'll be able to go and him not notice I'm gone for a bit. Leave a note. Just in case. Grabbing a quick shower, she changed and taped a note to his door. 'Stepped out for a bit, be back with breakfast too'.

Fitz woke just after ten and got up heading towards the bathroom. Seeing her bedroom door closed he let out a sigh of relieve. Finally she will sleep. Washing his hands and heading back to the bedroom he saw the note on the door and read it before going to her bedroom door and knocking. "Liv?" When he didn't hear an answer or any sort of movement, he opened the door seeing her bed made as it was the night before with the clothes laying on it.

"Good morning to you too," Liv surprised him walking into the hallway seeing him at her bedroom door. "Sleep well?"

"That bed is very comfortable. Where'd you go?"

Holding out his coffee, she set the bag down. "Breakfast from the coffee shop. And ran a couple errands."

"Thanks." Taking a drink of his coffee just how he liked it and smiled. "How do you know how to make it so perfectly?"

"I fill your order every day," she smiled and pulled bagels out of the bag.

"Blueberry?"

"Like I would come back without one?"

"Perfect! How long did you sleep?"

"I haven't," Liv told him rolling her eyes.
