Author's note: Ah, now to get started. This is a collection drabbles and one-shots with various themes that connect to my Wingfeather saga Isekai fanfiction (which will be separated into four arcs like the four main books), right now we're getting a look on what else happened soon after Elisheva's misfortune the day she accidentally injured a Fang officer.

Enjoy!

"Oh no!" Elisheva Bennet reached for the tile, shouting.

Below on the street, faces turned up to her, in time to see what looked like a young woman throwing a heavy piece of tile down. And as if the hand of fate were stretched against the Bennet family, the tile struck the governor on the head and he fell from his transport as though dead.

Elisheva stumbled back from the wall, her face losing color. Panicking with guilt, she whispered, "Dear Lord, I have killed the governor!"

Now she had seconds to choose: run to the portal or possible capture by the Fangs, she opted for the first.

The chain of events had put Elisheva and her family in grave peril, with the weight of unintended consequences threatening to crush their hopes of a peaceful life away from the conflict.

After arresting and subduing most of the rabble-rousers, the Fangs returned to their barracks. Now one of them was giving a full report of what they had seen in the street that day.

"Now, I may be losing my mind. I know you've said that over and over again. But all I know is she didn't look or SMELL like a Skreean, and she acted like she's never seen anything in the city before."

That part was true. They'd seen that girl several times in the streets, and she always smelled... off.

The Fang officer leaned back in his chair, his brow furrowed in deep thought. The report from his subordinate had struck a chord within him, igniting a gnawing sense of unease. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this girl than met the eye.

As he delved into his memories of that eventful day in Crilk, a flicker of realization danced across his features. His mind connected the dots, and he recalled a peculiar incident that had occurred just days before. It was like a puzzle piece falling into place, revealing a hidden picture.

He vividly remembered witnessing the aftermath of an altercation involving the girl. There was a brief moment when her eyes locked with his, and he sensed something different, something extraordinary about her. It was as if a spark of power radiated from her being, though he couldn't quite comprehend its nature.

The officer's thoughts raced, if this girl truly possessed unique abilities, it could explain the oddities surrounding her presence in Crilk. Perhaps she was connected to a force that even the Fangs had yet to comprehend.

Gnag the Nameless, their enigmatic leader, would undoubtedly be interested in this revelation. The officer knew he had stumbled upon a piece of information that could have far-reaching consequences. He resolved to report his findings to the higher ranks and ensure that the necessary precautions were taken.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the land, a sinister figure stood atop a tower overlooking the Killridge mountains.

There were recent reports of a Fang officer being attacked, the events of the day had ignited a spark of curiosity and suspicion in their minds, and now they were determined to uncover the truth.

When the news of the incident reached the higher ranks of the Fangs, it very quickly made its way to their master, Gnag. In a dimly lit chamber, adorned with ancient artifacts and maps of various realms. The flickering candlelight danced across the room he listened intently to the reports brought before him.

A figure draped in a long, flowing robe that covers most of his body. His hood was always up unless he deemed it necessary.

"But there is more, my lord," the servant spoke in a hushed tone. "Witnesses claim that they'd seen the girl emerge and disappear from a glowing opening many times."

The shrouded figure stopped in place. "The Key..." He mused, his voice barely above a whisper. "The one who possesses the power to unlock gateways between worlds."

The very mention of the legendary figure sent a shiver down his spine. The one who possessed the power to unlock gateways between worlds. Such a rare occurrence could not be ignored, for it held the potential to shift the balance of power in Aerwiar.

Now the wheels of his dark machinations have begun turning, this is a golden opportunity. The emergence of a new Key was a rare occurrence, and it meant that the balance of power could shift. If harnessed and controlled, the Key's abilities could be a formidable weapon in his quest.

"If this is true, we must act swiftly. We cannot allow such power to slip through our fingers."

The servant bowed, their face remaining hidden in the shadows. "What would you have us do, my lord?" they asked, their voice tinged with both anticipation and fear.

"Find her. Seize her, and bring her into Aerwiar." he commanded, his voice dripping with a mix of desire and cruelty. "We must seize this opportunity to control the Key and bend her power to our will."

The nearby Fang guards, ever loyal to their master, smirked delightedly. They relished the prospect of carrying out his bidding, eager to see what devious scheme he had in store.

Little did Elisheva know that her actions, albeit accidental, had caught the attention of the most malevolent forces in the land. The Key's power although inexperienced has stirred, and now, her life would take a treacherous turn as she unwittingly became the target of Gnag's interest.

Unaware of the dark forces that had set their sights upon her, she was about to embark on a treacherous journey.

Author's note: That's when the Bennet family is captured, dragged into Aerwiar and placed into separated locations: Elisheva in a labor camp (which she later escapes and makes her way to Glipwood) while Samuel and Zev were sent to an undisclosed location.

If you like that you'll love what else I have in store, I also plan to expand on my ocs pasts and loads of character interactions. See you soon, read an review please!
