Chapter 8 Role Play

She was staring at the gold embossed business card. Linda's was sparkling due to the bedside light.

Yuri had been looking forward to starting her new novel but her head wasn't in it after the day that she had had. Sure the shopping and spending the commission's money was fun and even getting a bit of training done.

After her quick stretch and mobility Eraser had instructed her through a few more combat moves with the dummy and even some with Present Mic.

They fought well enough in her opinion. Considering they didn't use their quirks in any fashion. Normally with close hand to hand combat it was simple enough to get a flirty touch and do some mind control hoodoo to get them to stop.

It wasn't always that easy though and why the training was still important. Because for the most part she was virtually quirkless.

After the training, they had all went out for food. Not paid for by the commission because Midnight insisted on treating everyone.

It had felt so normally being amongst the heroes in the Cafe. Present Mic and Midnight had ordered breakfast for dinner and Eraser had ordered a burger and fries.

When she ordered a salad with grilled chicken Eraser added extra chicken to her meal. Everyone at the table had given him a look with different emotions.

Yuri was sure the waitress assumed he was a grimly controlling boyfriend.

But the man ignored the looks and simply stated that she needed the extra protein for training.

The waitress took this and started conversation about heroes, a conversation that Yuri realized she didn't like. A conversation that Midnight and Present Mic excelled at due to being more public.

She rolled over onto her side and released a detoxifying sigh. When the topic of conversation shifted to her hero work she was suddenly embarrassed and it wasn't often that Yuri felt shame.

But she felt Eraser's foot nudge hers under the table. It brought her attention to his even though his was now directed at his coffee.

Speaking into the mug at the waitress, "Yuri and I work underground with confidential need to know cases."

His voice was neutral and gave undertones of 'go away'. The presence of his foot side by side to hers told her that he did that for her.

When the waitress left Yuri felt relieved, up until Eraser had begin to slide his foot away.

The comfort. The simplicity. It was sliding away.

She ended up sliding her food along with his. It was a small action that above the table she could feel his eyes shift to her direction.

What he saw she wasn't sure. She refused to look up. It felt like weakness if she looked into his eyes. Like she was admitting to something. Something that made her feel small and made her realize that she was the youngest at the table. That she was the only one there still in hero training.

Suddenly she missed Hawks. Even with their complicated past and sometimes awkward present, she never felt like they weren't equal.

In fact, it was because of their circumstances with the commission that made her feel like that were on the dame page... or at least the same chapter.

Yuri remembers the spiral that began to happen internally at the diner. Thinking about how her job as a hero was never going to add up to Hawks. It wasn't jealously. She was good at what she did and for the most part she liked it.

But Hawks was a free bird and she felt like she was a dirty street pigeon that did the commission's nasty work.

And that was why she was rolling around in the bed staring at the business card.

Linda's

Midnight had given it to her. Telling her that she used to work there. Basically a BDSM Kink Club. But it was given to her after it was briefly talked about how after the mission she'd be 'official'.

The commission raised her and even though she was turning 18 she never saw herself living and working outside of the commission. It was home. At least the inky home she had known.

Looking around the guest room and thinking of Eraser's apartment she understood that the mansion she lived in wasn't a home but just a large maze that the commission kept their pets.

She wouldn't dwell on it.

. . . .

Shouta Aizawa couldn't have been any more annoyed with the younger hero.

'Hope you missed me. Will be there in an hour.'

He wouldn't have even known who the text message was from if it wasn't for the winking emoji followed by a chicken emoji.

He did give Hawks credit for giving him some form of heads up though. It was much more expected of him to just show up.

Aizawa responded with the thumbs up automated option.

Lounging back into the couch the cushions sunk around him. A sigh leaving his lips as he combed his fingers through his messy hair. Enjoying the pressure of his own fingertips.

The day had gone just how he had expected it to go. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Doo reacted how he thought they would and Yuri was about at good at combat as he assumed she would be.

The interactions at the café clearly made her uncomfortable and it brought in perspective that she hadn't been around any other heroes aside from the occasional Hawks. And those interactions were... questionable.

He listened to the guest rooms door open and prepared himself mentally for the evening. They had to review their roles and he had to be sure that they both knew the boundaries and interactions well enough.

"Good. You're up." He spoke evenly.

She raised a brow at him, "It's only 8pm." she makes her way to the other side of the couch, "And you don't like you go to sleep unless its between the hours of 2 and 4 in the morning."

He didn't comment on her nearly accurate assumption.

"We only have tomorrow and then we leave the following night." He shifted forward and grabbed the case file as he stood, "I figured now would be a good time as any to start our role rehearsal. To ensure any tweaks we might need to adjust to understand boundaries."

When he confronted her with the file he watched her quirk a brow.

"You want to role play?" He watched her bite her lip to keep in her laugh.

Aizawa could feel his eye twitch at her chosen words, "Yes."

Yuri takes the file from his hand and tosses it back onto the coffee table, "I already know the file." He had another eye twitch, "Mr. Sato, you, is possessive and private. I imagine I should stay close to you while we're there."

As if in sync, while she steps to be at his side he is already placing his arm around her back. He was taller then her and his arm tugged her close with an ease that was both gentle but held power behind it.

She was at his side and while his arm was around her she brought hers around his waist. An easy place of measurement due to the height difference.

"You should have your hand lower." Yuri's hand moves his from her side lower to her hip.

Aizawa feels his fingers dent into her soft lover handles and in that moment he can't help but press her deeper into his side.

"You're role is to aim to please. Under a coarsen quirk for Total Power Exchange." He looks at their positions. She was like a puzzle piece that fit perfecting into his side. With his hand placement it would give off the impression that he was possessive it he used the right demeanor. But she still held her head high.

"You need to appear more submissive." He instructs, "Remember that your role is the 'don't speak unless spoken to.' and 'don't look unless instructed to do so.' You're personality is the complete opposite of the role."

He watched as she rolled her eyes as she leaned her head against his torso and brought her hand to his black shirt. Fisting the fabric.

Her doe eyes look up at him, "Submissive enough?"

Aizawa doesn't want to admit just how much she now looked the role. How she'd look in the fitted formal gown across his body.

With his free hand he grabs her fisted hand. He is gentle with her petite hand compared to his chest. He ignored her fingers feel soft against his calloused hand.

"Mr. Sato is a professional." He flattened her hand against his chest, "He'd punish you for ruining his suit. And he'd happily do it publicly."

Yuri's eyes widen only a bit, and not at his words as much as the flicker of amusement on his face, and how his hand still held hers against his chest. She was sure if she closed her eyes and focused that she'd feel his heartbeat.

"Right. Degradation and voyeurism. How do you suppose we should handle those?" She drops her head and simply leans against him. She tells herself that its her getting a feel for the role and ignores the fact that she did find comfort in the lean. In her body against his.

She was also highly aware of the fact that his hand was firmly placed on her hip.

"We will be avoiding any situations that may result in that. I already stated that I wouldn't touch you inappropriately."

Yuri almost pointed out that with the way his hand burned against her hip it could be considered inappropriate. But she didn't because of the small fear that he'd remove it.

"Hmm." She replied while she took in the warmth of his body one last time before stepping out of it, "Okay. We have your boundary established. If there is a situation outside of you I will be sure to handle it professionally."

Her statement didn't sit well with him. He also ignored that his side felt empty and was growing cold. "Hopefully we'll be able to be in and out with the mission information received without having to play to much into the roles."

"Fingers crossed to that." She crossed her fingers in the air as she rounds him and took his spot on the couch, "Isn't Hawks supposed to check in tonight? What are we going to report today?"

He had only vaguely thought about the topic. Aizawa sat in the armchair that Yuri had occupied most of the time. He ran his hands though his hair just as his apartment door opened.

He didn't have to look up to know that is was the avian hero but he still found it beyond frustrating to know that he had to have picked the lock to enter.

"Hey Ya, You guys." Hawks stays a distance today.

On his flight over he told himself that he was going to try and make this a quick stop by. Not wanting to have another moment with Yuri like he had the last time.

"We were just talking about you." Yuri looks over the couch to him.

"Don't go telling my secrets for free Yur. At least get a fee."

Her soft laugh only reminded him of the moan that he had on repeat in his mind, "I'd never sell your secrets."

"Nah. I was just asking Eraser what we were going to say we practiced today."

"I already know what I'm going to report." I cut her off and watch as her faces drops and Erasers becomes more stern, "I figured that since the last report was of Eraser taking it slow I would say that you guys took it to the next base." He shrugs it off like its nothing. Even if the thoughts pinch at his nerves, "Just wanted to be on the same page in case the commission asks."

Yuri was quiet. She could physically feel the distance that Hawks was creating. He had barely entered the living space but also didn't put it past himself to not just enter without knocking.

He also barely looked at her and his eyes more or less looked around the space or at Eraserhead.

It hurt her to know that he was creating the space. That clearly the moment that they had resulted in it. It also made her a little tiffed because he was the one who had started the engagement.

"We're on the same page. I will be sure to write it in my report." Aizawa spoke curtly.

"If my memory is right. We can say that she deep throated you into telling her your bank information and learning that you had a childhood dog named Cori."

The images of Yuri's head bobbing over Eraserhead made Hawks a type of green that was unnecessary and resulted in the tone that had the heroes giving him a mild glare.

"I had a cat named Nori. Will that be all for this evening Hawks?"

He pretended to think, "Seeing at there's no food, I'll say yeah." He started to step toward the exit of the apartment, "When I come back I expect a full report of Yuri's Bomb Ass Virgin Pussy."

Hawks didn't have to see Yuri's face to know that she was mad at him and maybe it was for the best.
