Found the Fang hiding underground. They had a train… filled with bombs. Breached Vale's walls, let in the Grimm. Caused chaos, panic. Barely survived until the reinforcements arrived. Noticed something odd when I fought. Was more effective when I fought alongside RWBY and CFVY. Almost as if I was gaining strength from allies. Worth investigating.
Managed to beat the Grimm back until Goodwitch could seal the breach. More than a few lives lost, mostly civilian. Felt bad about that, but nothing more we could have done. That's what I told RWBY when they started berating themselves about it. Can't save everyone.
Captured the Thief once things calmed down. But suspicious, almost seemed too easy, like he wanted captured. Warned the…..General, but don't think he took me seriously.
Spoke to the Faunus, asked her about her take on the attack. She didn't understand the why of it either. Faunus lives lost just like human, conflicted with their message. She told me of the High Leader in Menagerie. Perhaps she should be informed. Could decide to put a stop to things before they escalate further. Then again, could be like Caesar. Only a meeting will tell for sure.
