Came to Ozpin with my idea of dealing with the Fang. The….General was there as well, and was opposed. Too set in his ways, seeing the world in Black and White. Ozpin approved though. Asked me to be his Envoy from Beacon. Suppose it was a given. It was my idea after all.
Left the next day, after talking with the Faunus so I didn't make a critical mistake. The way she spoke of the High Leader, this tiger woman called Sienna Khan, she sounded like Caesar. Supposed that would make it easier to speak with her.
Arrived in Menagerie, walked its roads. The Rabbit and the Faunus were right. It was….cramped. Couldn't get a single step without making contact with someone. Got odd stairs as I went about my business. Not surprising, don't think I saw a single human on the island the whole time.
Finding the base of the Fang wasn't difficult. Saw agents heading for it. Asked to speak to Sienna Khan. They were suspicious, but allowed me audience. Even let me keep my weapon. Reminded me of when I met the Masters of the Big Empty. Guards were all watching me as I met Sienna Khan.
She asked me why a human would wish to speak to her. I told her of what was happening in Vale. Of the Breach, and of the alliance with the Thief. She seemed furious, ordering an agent to confirm my claims. Once he did, she asked me what I brought. I offered an alliance between the Fang and Ozpin. Together we could bring the Rogue Chapter to heel.
She needed time to consult. Understandable. Quite the leap of faith to trust a human. Especially one like Ozpin. In the meantime, found out about the leader of the Vale chapter. Adam Taurus. An agent who seemed to enjoy breaking spirits. Charismatic but direct in his methods. Reminded me of Lanius. Would be just as dangerous, if left unchecked.
And done! Not gonna lie, until I wrote the line, I hadn't drawn the parallel between two of the most destructive people of the Mojave and Remnant respectively. Anyway, leave a review with your thoughts and I'll see you all next time!
