Mystic Falls
High School
Next Day
Kol learned that Bonnie Bennet was, unsurprisingly, from the famous and ancient bloodline of the Bennet's witch coven.
However, he also discovered that Bonnie doesn't even believe that she's a witch which irritated him. He had been listening to Caroline and Bonnie's conversation for a while with an exasperated look on face.
"I'm confused." Caroline speaks up as she and Bonnie walk through the door to the corridor by the school building. "Are you psychic or clairvoyant?"
"Neither, love. She's a witch." Kol muttered.
Bonnie answered with an amused smile. "Technically, Grams says I'm a witch. My ancestors were these really cool Salem witch chicks or something. Grams tried to explain it all, but she was looped on the liquor so I kinda tuned out. Crazy family? Yes. Witches? I don't think so."
Kol huffed. "You are going to take that back and eat your words." Feeling offended for the witches in the supernatural community.
"Yeah, well, feel free to conjure up the name and number of that guy from last night." Caroline commented with an excited smile, Kol making a sour face at her words.
The Bennett witch scoffed but a large smile appeared on her face. "I didn't see him, you did. Why didn't you just talk to him?"
"I don't know. I was drunk." Caroline explained with a simple shrug.
"Technically, he did introduce himself as Damon Salvatore but never got to stay and chat more because you were awfully drunk, sweetheart." Kol explained, and he won't deny that he is relieved that Damon didn't try anything to the blonde-haired beauty. Grateful that she had forgotten his name and hoped she would forget him entirely.
"And hopefully you won't see him any time sooner. Although, I prefer never." Kol added, bitterly.

After School
Caroline, Bonnie and Elena gathered around in the chairs on an outdoor table filled with foods and drinks. They were chatting about Stefan for a while now and Kol was sitting on the empty chair near them as his feet rested on the other chair across from him, his arms crossed in front of his chest. Kol scanned his surroundings with slight boredom. He turned his head to Bonnie's direction when she mentioned her Grams.
"—talking to Grams, and she said the comet is a sign of impending doom. The last time it was passed over Mystic Falls, there was lots of death. So much blood and carnage, it created a bed of paranormal activity." Bonnie explained, anxious and skeptical.
"Actually, the comet is but a powerful time for witches." Kol blurted without thinking.
The blonde-haired beauty rolled her eyes. "Yeah, and then you poured Grams another shot and she told you about the aliens." She said dryly which amused Kol a little bit, making a light chuckle escape his lips.
Caroline turned her attention back to Elena. "So then what?"
Elena shrugged her shoulders. "So then nothing."
"You and Stefan talked all night?" Caroline stared at the brunette with disbelief while Bonnie quietly ate her salad. "There was no sloppy first kiss or touchy feely of any kind?"
The brunette shook her head. "Nope. We didn't go there."
Kol scoffed. "That unattractive bloke is boring. He's a vampire and still less interesting than bird staring." He was not impressed with Stefan Salvatore.
"Not even a handshake?" Caroline stared at her best friend with a shocked face. "I mean, Elena, we are your friends. Okay?" She leaned forward with a serious face. "You are supposed to share the smut." Kol turned his dark eyes to Caroline, greatly amused by her open-minded attitude.
"We just talked for hours." Elena defends herself while Bonnie just shakes her head with a soft smile.
The blonde-haired beauty sighed loudly and leaned back.
"Okay, what is with the blockage? Just jump his bones already!" Bonnie and Elena stared at her with wide eyes in surprise by her blunted words out in public while Kol laughed wholeheartedly at her comment.
"Okay, it's easy. Boy likes girl, girl likes boy, sex!" Caroline added, shamelessly.
"Darling… we are going to have a beautiful friendship." Kol likes this side of Caroline. She is starting to be a very interesting human to him. It's not often he finds humans fascinating, to be sincere he just didn't care since they were no more than just blood bags to him. However, he has a feeling he might make an exception for this certain blonde-haired beauty.
"Profound." Elena responds then slowly, seemingly thoughtful for a moment. She paused, dropped her fork and stood up as she quickly grabbed her purse.
Bonnie frowned, confused. "Where are you going?"
"Caroline's right." Caroline raised her eyebrows in surprise. "It is easy. If I sit here long enough, I'll end up talking myself out of it instead of doing what I started the day saying what I was going to do." Elena said with determination while the blonde-haired beauty and petite witch exchanged glances. Then they watched Elena leave while Kol whistled with interest.
"It seems that you managed to get doppelganger to finally have sex with a vampire, sweetheart. Like I said before, you are a force of nature." Kol murmured to Caroline who was chatting with Bonnie happily. Kol was relieved to see that Caroline wasn't upset with Stefan choosing Elena over her. It was good to know that Caroline isn't the type of person to cling on someone who isn't interested in her. He quietly observed Caroline, leaning back comfortably while waiting for the day to be over.

Mystic Falls
Town Square
Next Day
Kol walked around in the town square with his usual level of interest while Caroline was listening to the people around her attentively. The Original also learned that Caroline is a very people person and friendly to everyone. He actually admired her since she always knew what to do and what to say to everyone. Whether she chose the wrong or right topic, she knew what to do by going with the flow and Kol liked that about her.
His dark eyes scanned around until they spotted the one end only Damon Salvatore who was standing by the stop sign. He frowned deeply and shifted his eyes to Caroline who also noticed him. Slowly, she turned around and started to approach.
"Oh bloody hell, no." Kol muttered, he instantly jogged toward the blonde-haired beauty as he silently cursed that he doesn't have his vampire speed.
Caroline stride over with confidence, but halted when she blinked with confusion. Kol stopped by her side and noted that Damon was gone which he assumed was thanks to his vampire speed. The Original sighed with relief but he still has a bad feeling about it. Caroline furrowed her eyebrows, a puzzled look on her face but she soon shakes her head with slight disappointment.
"Don't be disappointed Darling. Be grateful." The transparent ghost commented and decided to stick close to the blonde-haired beauty. He doesn't know why but this is the second time he seems Damon and something tells him it won't be the last.
Later, as the sun sets and the moon rises. Mixtures of all ages and genders of humans gathered around while carrying the cup candles. Caroline has been passing out the cup candles for a while and when she turned around, her bright blue-green eyes lit up. "Hey, I got some candles." She steps forward to hand out two cup candles to Bonnie and Elena.
Kol quietly watches them lighting up the candles and notices Matt, the boy staring longing at Elena. "I suggest you turn your attention on different bird, mate." He blurted it out, nonchalantly. He has seen that look many times from the human every time he is around the doppelganger. He also saw Stefan wending to Elena as the lovebirds have been whispering to each other a few feet away.
The Wildest Original turned his dark eyes to Caroline who is animatedly chatting with her friends. He watches the lights from the candles shine on her face, making her blue-green eyes lighten up like fireflies and pretty smiles.
He knew that Caroline is a beautiful young human but to see her in this way, she somehow became little more beautiful, if that was possible.
Kol shifted his dark eyes upward to the night sky and watched the comet in silence. He wishes he could say or do anything, but he was a ghost, and no one will ever see or hear him as long as he stays that way.
Kol is alone.

Mystic Grill
Later…
A group of teenagers gathered back inside of the grill and stood around the table while chatting happily. Kol took a stroll around quietly, boredom clear on his face until Jeremy Gilbert walked up to them with a worried face.
"Hey, has anyone seen Vicki?"
"You're her stalker. You tell us." Tyler snapped with a mock smile.
"I can't find her." Jeremy glared at Tyler.
Tyler shrugged her shoulders uncaringly. "She probably found somebody else to party with. Sorry, pill pusher, I guess you've been replaced."
Elena frowned. "What's with the pill pusher?" she turned to Tyler confused.
"Ask him." The jock tipped his head at Jeremy who scowled at him.
"You wanna do this right now?"
Kol perked up. "Please fight. It would ease my boredom." He was hopeful.
"Are you dealing?" Elena stared at her brother, shocked.
Tyler glared at Jeremy. "She's never gonna go for you."
"She already did. Over and over and over again." Jeremy snapped back.
Caroline glanced back and forth speechless, Matt closing his eyes with a mixture of disgust and discomfort. Bonnie silently stays out of it while Elena shakes her head in disbelief. Kol raised his eyebrow slightly amused. The blonde-haired beauty then turned her head to Elena's younger brother, appalled.
"You slept with Vicki Donovan? I mean, Vicki Donovan slept with you?" she blurted it out in bewilderment.
"Darling, did I mention how I love your open-minded nature?" The Original grinned widely, truly liking her straightforwardness in public. Even in his time, women tend to be so modest and shy away when it comes to sexual-related matters. However, Caroline Forbes isn't embarrassed or shy about it, instead she took it as if it is a fact.
He adored it.
Tyler shakes his head. "There's no way." He denied.
"And I didn't even have to force her into it." Jeremy pointed it out shamelessly.
Kol's eyes darken at it. A dark look came to him as he stared at the Lockwood. He despises rapists and abusers. He may be a thousand years old vampire —currently a ghost— who enjoyed killing and bloodbath, but would never force himself on women. The Original is a monster in every way, but he is not heartless. He respects women –witches, vampires, werewolves, and humans— and he has (sort of) manners.
Matt jerked his head to Tyler with a glare. "What the hell is he talking about, Ty?"
The jock just shakes his head. "Nothing, man, just ignore him, he's a punk." Kol scoffed, he doesn't need his vampire hearing to know that this scum is lying.
Matt just shakes his head. "You know what, how about all of you shut up and help me find my sister?"
Soon, everyone starts separating and searching for Vicki. Caroline turned around and walked to the back of the Grill, her blue-green eyes scanning around in hope of finding the Donovan girl. Kol just followed her silently, hands in his pockets as he stared at the sky in contemplation.
"With a rapist, should I make him eat his own dick or, gouge out his eyeballs, put them up his arse, and then make him eat his own dick?"
After a while of nonstop searching, and of Kol thinking of the best torture method for a rapist, the group has received a message from Matt, saying that he already found his sister. Soon, Caroline and Bonnie sat on the chairs at an empty table. Kol stands around behind Caroline, his body leaning against her chair, as his eyes scanned around.
The blonde-haired beauty and the petite witch watched Matt tending the bandage on Vicki's neck carefully across the room. Caroline placed her chin on her palm. "Ugh, it's just so much drama. Ever notice how the druggies are the biggest attention whores?" she mentioned to Bonnie who nodded her head, agreeing.
"It depends on the druggies, sweetheart." Kol muttered as he leaned close to the blonde-haired beauty. Then Stefan walked up to their table and smiled politely.
"Excuse me, hi." The girls greeted him back friendly. "Um, have you guys seen Elena?" he asked, hopeful.
Bonnie shakes her head. "I think she went home." Stefan's face fell but he nodded his head which made Bonnie feel bad for the broody vampire. "Why don't I give you Elena's cell number and email, hum?" She took out the paper and pen from her purse while Caroline and Kol watched them quietly. "She is big on texting, and you can tell her…" Bonnie tore out the paper and handed the information to Stefan with a smile. "I said so."
"Thank you." Stefan said with a grateful smile. He gently grabbed the note from Bonnie's hand as their fingers touched, briefly.
Bonnie gasped as she jerked her hand away and stared at Stefan with confused and shocked eyes. Kol straightened up as he noticed that the Bennet witch apparently had vision. He could recognize that gaze of confusion and mystery, like they knew something about yourself you don't even known.
"You okay?" Stefan asked, worried.
The petite witch narrowed her eyes. "What happened to you?" then she shakes her head and smiles uncomfortably. "I'm sorry. That's so rude." She stood up quickly. "Excuse me." She almost run as she left.
After an awkward silent for a moment or two, Caroline opened her mouth. "Yeah, she kind of wigs out. It's like her thing." She said with a half-shrug.
Kol snorted. "Actually, she is having a panic moment since she has never been taught about the supernatural before." He frowned, he doesn't like it when, potential, especially Bennett potential, is wasted like that. Why isn't anyone teaching the tiny witch about her bloodline? About her coven, her history?
When Stefan left, Caroline grabbed her phone and got a message from her mother telling she will be home in the morning since she has a late shift, again. The blonde-haired beauty just shook her head and stood up, grabbing her purse and saying her farewell to some of her friends.
.
.
.
After a moment, Caroline left the mystic grills to the parking lots where she parked her car while Kol dragged his feet after her. Caroline halted when she heard something and turned around in the empty parking lots. Kol scanned his surroundings as he is starting to have bad feelings once again. "Darling, hurry to your car." He warned her, knowingly she won't hear.
Caroline shakes her head and walks toward her car but halted when she heard something, dropping her keys thanks to the fright. Looking around she finally bent down, picked up the keys and stood on her feet. The blonde-haired girl whirled around as her bright green-blue eyes searched around warily.
Kol growled with annoyance as he watched Damon use his vampire speed to stand between the car and Caroline. The blonde-haired beauty turned to face her car but was startled back as her heart skipped a beat. She placed her hand over her chest. "Oh…whoa…"
"Sorry." Damon smirked at her. "Didn't mean to scare you."
Caroline just shakes her head and chuckles shyly. "No, it's fine… umm… I was hoping I'd see you again." Kol made a face.
"I know." The dark-haired vampire purred.
The blonde-haired girl raises her eyebrow at his arrogant attitude. "Cocky much?" she huffed, unimpressed which Kol thanked the all the gods above that Caroline Forbes is a smart human.
"Very much." Damon smirks widely.
Caroline's smile slowly fades as she doesn't like haughty males since they turned her off. "Okay. Nice to know that you admit it. Unfortunately, I'm not interested." She blunted, uncaringly. "Now, if you excuse me, I need to head home."
"Good girl." Kol muttered with approval while eyeing Damon with a dark look.
However, Damon stepped forward closely to Caroline who frowned at him while Kol growled warningly. Unfortunately, he's a ghost so it was useless. "You want me. You are interested in me. You want to take me. Take me in your home and in your bed." His pupils expanded when he stared at her green-blue eyes, compelling her.
"You fucking arsehole!" Kol brittle in anger, watching in horror when the vampire is manipulating the blonde-haired innocent human's mind.
Caroline blinked and smiled. "Want to keep me company?" she asked, flirtatiously.
Damon smirks haughty at her. "Why, yes. I would love to." Kol immediately swiped his hand over Damon's head but instead, it went through. He silently curses as he glared hatefully at the dark-haired vampire.
Kol forced himself to sit in the backseat in the middle while glaring heavily at Damon who was sitting on the passenger seat. Caroline is driving behind the wheel down the street to the direction of her home. The Original immortal growled when he watched Damon stroke his finger against Caroline's flawless cheeks. "Get your filthy dead hands off of her." He snapped, angrily as he leaned forward, attempted to smack Damon's arm. It was useless once again.
Kol did not like this one bit.

Forbes Residence
Caroline's Bedroom
Later…
He fucking hates it.
He absolutely hates this. Kol darkly entertained the thought of the Salvatore vampire to be crushed by a giant elephant, or even hanging and burning with a vervain stake in the heart would be excellent ways to destroy the vampire.
The sound of moaning from a certain blonde-haired beauty on her bed made him sour that it was Damon who is kissing her bare stomach.
Kol is standing in the corner of her bedroom while scowling darkly as his eyes glares hatefully at the young vampire. "One day, I will beat the shit out of you." He swore. He knew that Caroline would be scared and confused in the morning when the compelling wears off.
Then he watched Damon lift his head up, face transformed as Caroline opened her eyes and stared at him in horror. The vampire lurched at her neck and bit viciously. Caroline screamed in a mixture of fear, agony, and panic.
Kol gritted his teeth furiously. "Blood. Eagle. Executions. Hands and legs trapped. Your fucking tailbone will be stab and up toward the rub cage. Each rib will be separated from the backbone with my bare hands and your disgusting internal organs will be on full display. I will make sure you are awake this whole time your arsehole. And of course, I won't forget to rub some salt on your wounds. Maybe a bath of salt. Yes, a bath of salt. I'm sure you would like that." He hisses, explaining out loud in details of how he will thoroughly enjoy torture this bastard who dared to compel his human. "And I will enjoy pulling out your lungs and spreading out your ribs like wings. Even the gory glory of the blood eagle you will be… it's not enough." He growled loudly, how he wished he could grab this fucker and threw him out of the window.
The Original was forced to watch the human girl he grew fond of being used as a blood bag and sexually harassed by the manipulative vampire.
He fucking hates it.
He fucking hates Damon Salvatore.
