Bennett's Residence
Morning…
Bonnie approached the door when the doorbell rang. She just knew it was him on the other side of the door. She doesn't know why she willingly let an Original vampire give her a ride. The tiny witch silently wondered if it was because of how he treated her that sparks her curiosity. The respect and the politeness.
It's so bizarre since she is so used to seeing arrogant and confident vampires. However, something about this vampire—this Noble Original is just different. Bonnie reached to the door, double-check her appearance, and even has a grimoire with her. Once she is satisfied, she extends her hand to the doorknob and pulled inward.
Elijah stood outside of her door with a polite smile. "Good morning, Miss Bennett." He greeted her.
"Morning." Bonnie mumbled, slightly awkward. She steps outside on the porch, shut the door behind her, and waves her hand over it. The door locked itself magically with a click. Elijah's lip twitch then tilts his head at his fancy automobile that is parked by the sidewalk.
The tiny witch walked ahead of him and was startled when she felt a hand placed on the small of her back. She jerked her eyes at Elijah with cautious who raise his eyebrow at her. "Allow me." He gently guides her toward his car.
Bonnie wants to protest and snap that she can walk just fine and that she's not blind. However, her voice just wasn't working so she remains silent. The Noble Original led her to the passenger's side of his car, he opens the door for her which is rather pleasantly surprised for the Bennet witch.
The petite witch nearly stumbled but managed to control her balance, climbed onto the passenger's seat and Elijah shut the door gently. Bonnie grabbed the seatbelt, pull it over her body then locked it. Elijah joined in the car as he took the driver's seat.
After the engine is turned on, Elijah takes off while controlling the steering wheel. Bonnie watches the scenery through the window quietly. Her fingers drummed against the cover of her grimoire lightly. The atmosphere in the car was quiet and slightly awkward.
Until a masculine voice speak that snapped Bonnie out of her daze. "If I may ask, is that your family grimoire?" Elijah's eyes stay on the road, calmly.
Bonnie shifted her gaze to the Noble Original wary. "Why do you wanna know?" she asked, defensive with a hint of warning in her tone.
Elijah cocked his eyebrow and turned his face to her with ponder. "It is simple curiosity, Miss Bennett. You do not have to answer." He responds then turns his attention back to the road.
The Bennett witch frowned confused and puzzled by this Original vampire. 'Strange vampire.' She mused, unsure. Her olive-green orbs glanced down at the grimoire on her lap, bit her inner cheek thoughtfully then inwardly sighed. She feels a bit terrible to snap at the nobility vampire.
"…it belonged to one of my ancestors. Emily Bennett." Bonnie answered in a soft voice. Elijah easily heard her answer thanks to his vampiric hearing.
Elijah hummed, confirming that he acknowledged her answer. He quickly investigated through his memories if the name was familiar to him. "I do not believe I have met Emily among the Bennett witches." He slowly stopped his car when the traffic light turned red.
"Wait—" Bonnie jerked her head to Noble Original in surprise and perplexed. "—you met other Bennett witches? My ancestors?" she questioned, interested.
Elijah half-smirks at the tiny witch and starts driving once the traffic light changes to green. "You had some powerful ancestors." He admittedly. Bonnie's lips twitch with a proud smile. "I have met quite a few of them. Only for professional business. Except for one Bennett witch. She was a very old friend—a powerful and kind-hearted friend." He explained while turning his car to the corner of the street and down the road that led toward the destination.
"W-who was your friend?" the Bennett witch was astonished that one of her ancestors was actually a friend of the Original vampire.
A hint of nostalgia and sadness glinted in his dark eyes before vanishing. Unaware that Bonnie caught his small vulnerable emotion that silently startled her. "Ayana." Elijah whispered softly as if he said her name so gentle and sweet.
'Ayana.' Bonnie repeated a couple of times to remember that name from one of her ancestors. A Bennett witch that seemed to be very closed to Elijah. She was hesitant for a brief moment then shyly open her mouth. "W-will you tell me about her? Ayana?"
The Noble Original glance over at Bonnie blankly then turns his gaze to the road. In the distance, Bonnie easily spots a large familiar boarding house that is owned by the Salvatore family. A couple of minutes later, they arrived at the location and Elijah parked in the driveway.
He turned the engine off, step out of the driver's seat, and used his vamp-speed over the passenger's side. He opened the door before Bonnie could blink. The petite witch stared up at him in surprise by his quick movement. "…I will tell you about Ayana." Elijah promised with a small genuine smile.
Bonnie's eyes widen in pleasant shock but quickly changed to an excited smile. "Really?" Elijah nods his head in response. Bonnie beamed at him as she climbed out of the passenger's seat and hugged the grimoire closed to her chest.
"Now, shall we?" Elijah respectfully places his palm on the small of her back, and guides her toward the building. Bonnie is surprisingly okay with it.

Salvatore Boarding House
Family Room
Moment Later…
Elena and Stefan were surprised to see Bonnie with Elijah but glad to have her joined with them. In the family room, the doppelgänger is sitting at the end of the leather couch. While the young Salvatore is sitting on the leather chair, close to his human girlfriend.
The Noble Original is standing by the fireplace while Bonnie is sitting next to Elena with her grimoire on her knees. They are listening to Elijah with attention. "—tonight is the full moon. We should assume that Klaus is prepared to break the curse."
"Elena said that the Sun and the Moon curse is fake?" Stefan questioned, incredulity. "That it's actually just a curse placed on Klaus." He watches Elijah walks around to the table where the tray is full of whiskey along with crystal cups.
Elijah grabbed one of the crystal cups, flipped it over, and picked one of the whiskey bottles for inspecting. "Klaus is a vampire born of a werewolf bloodline. The curse has kept his werewolf aspect from manifesting." He switched to a different whiskey bottle and hummed with satisfaction when a bottle caught his interest. "But if he breaks it—" he took the bottle's lid off, pour it in a crystal cup for pleasure amount then placed the whiskey bottle away gracefully. "—he'll be a true hybrid."
Stefan glanced at Elena who nodded her head, confirming that Elijah is telling the truth while Bonnie pressed her lips together with a thoughtful glint in her eyes.
The solemn silence in the room while Elijah took his time to twirl the brown-gold liquid inside of his crystal cup.
Unexpectedly, a voice was uttered out loud. "Then why are we letting him break the curse?" all heads turned to Damon who strode into the family room with a bemused frown. He stared at them with questioning eyes. "We can kill him today." He waves his hand over the Bennett witch. "With Bonnie."
Bonnie frown while Elijah narrowed his eyes at Damon. "Damon…" Stefan trails off with a look at his older brother.
Damon scoffed rudely. "What? She has a hundred of dead witches' power."
"Bonnie…" the brunette looked at Bonnie, extend her hand and gently touch the tiny's witch's fingers. "…can you kill him with that much power?" Elena questioned, curious.
The Bennett witch nodded her head. "With the amount of power I can channel, he has no idea." She replied, giving a quick glance at the channeling-talisman bracelet that wrapped around her wrist. It stopped glistening the moment that she and Caroline are distant apart. However, the bracelet is warm that informed her of she and Caroline are alive and ready to channel whenever.
Bonnie has no idea how much it brings her comfort for having the knowledge that her best friend is alive and safe.
Damon squints his eyes at her suspiciously. "Can you really?" he asked, skeptical.
"You doubt me?" the Bennett witch gives him a look. She moved the grimoire to the side on the cushion of the couch, stood up, and lifted her chin. "I can prove it."
The older Salvatore released an amused chuckled as he glances at others who are watching them with interest. Damon huffed slightly then nodded his head.
Out of blue, Damon rushes at Bonnie in his vamp-speed however, he was instantly flown to the other side of the room and slams onto the ground.
Bonnie smirk smugly while Elena's jaw drops with amazed and surprise. Stefan raises his eyebrow. "I am impressed." He commented while eyeing his brother who pushed himself off the ground roughly.
Elijah covered his smirk with the edge of the crystal cup while mirth danced in his eyes. He enjoys watching the tiny witch use her power against the older Salvatore who never did apologize to him. After all, he may be a polite and honorable vampire. He can be petty, sometimes.
"I can hold him down with my powers. Doesn't matter if he's an Original." Bonnie stated then she turned her gaze over to the Noble Original. "If needed to be, I can kill him."
Damon cleared his throat with a haughty smirk. "There you go." He opens his arms as if he didn't doubt Bonnie's powers. The Bennett witch rolls her eyes with slight exasperated and unamused.
"Alright…" Stefan speaks up as he grabbed his girlfriend's hand while his gaze is on Elijah. "…so, what's the plan?"
The Noble Original pulled the drink away from his lips. "Well, the ritual itself is relatively straightforward. The ingredients, so to speak, you already know."
"The moonstone." The young Salvatore answered.
Elena nods her head. "The vampire and the werewolf." She recalled when she had a so-called pleasant chat with a certain vampire doppelgänger.
"I assumed there's a witch involved?" Bonnie speak up, with a knowingly look as she turned around and crossed her arms.
Elijah finished the drink and set the crystal cup down soundlessly. "You assumed correctly." He nods his head at Bonnie, who approved of her intelligence. "A witch will channel the power of the full moon to release the spell that's bound within the stone. After that, Klaus, being both werewolf and vampire, will sacrifice one of each."
Damon walked around and stood behind Elena and Stefan with cautious glares at the Original vampire. "And where do Elena fit into it?" he questioned, suspicious.
"The final part of the ritual." Elijah sauntered toward one of the bookshelves, grabbed an old wooden box from the shelf, and carefully placed it on top of the stuffed leather chair. "…Klaus must drink the blood of the doppelgänger—" he lifted his gaze to Elena's innocently puzzled face. "—to the point of your death." He shared the final truth of the information.
Damon's eyes widen in astonishment shocked while Elena silently gasps, and Stefan's hand tightens around the brunette's hand. Bonnie stared at the Noble Original blankly. "And then what?" the tiny witch practically demands the answer.
Elijah raised his eyebrow at the witch's boldness. He opens the old wooden box and takes an antique jar out of it. "This is an elixir that I acquired some five hundred years ago for Katerina." Bonnie's eyes lit up with interest and curiosity. He watches the Bennett witch step forward. "It possesses mystical properties of resuscitation." He informed the others, calmly.
"So I'll be dead?" the doppelgänger asked, just to be clear with confusion.
The Original vampire gently handed the potion to Bonnie. "And then you won't." Elena looks relieved while Stefan frown with some doubt.
Damon scoffed loudly in incredulity. "That's your plan?" he stared at the Original vampire with mistrustful glares. "A magical witch potion with no expiration date?" Elijah just watches the older Salvatore with a neutral face. Damon shakes his head, and turned his icy-blue gaze to Elena. "You want to come back to life, what about John's ring?" Stefan and Elena perked up with hopeful.
However, Elijah dashed their hope. "Those rings only work on humans." He enlightened them, coolly. "The doppelgänger's a supernatural occurrence. Odds are, the ring won't work."
"I'll take those odds over your elixir." The older Salvatore snapped at the Original vampire and then turned to face Elena. "What if it doesn't work, Elena?"
Elena sighed heavily. "Then I guess I'll just be dead." She resigned herself to fate. Damon attempted to say something but ended up gaping like a fish. He turned his disbelief face to Stefan who looked weary acceptance with a shrug. Since they both knew Elena is very stubborn and wouldn't change her mind once she got the idea stuck in her head.
Damon turned to glare resentfully at the Noble Original who just cocked his eyebrow at him.
"Will all of you calm down." Bonnie snapped at them, making others startled by her presence except for Elijah. Since the Bennett witch has been quiet the entire time. Bonnie has been examining the potion with her magic. "This elixir has magic. I can feel it. It's almost unnoticeable. If I didn't have a hundred of dead witches' powers, I probably wouldn't be able to detect the magic." She declared from what she had investigated the potion with her powers.
Elena's face lit up with hopeful. "Does that mean there's a chance I can come back alive?"
"Maybe." Bonnie whispered as she gently tapped the jar with her index finger, contemplatively
Damon glares angrily at the petite witch. "What do you mean maybe." He demanded an answer which made Elijah's eyes harden with cold disapproval.
The Original vampire despises disrespectful and overconfident people—whether they are humans, vampires, werewolves, or any other supernatural beings—and they need to be taught a lesson. Especially when the brash older Salvatore is extremely insolent toward a respectful and powerful witch, someone who shared Ayana's blood. "I would watch your tone, Mr. Salvatore." Elijah warned with cold eyes.
"Excuse me?" Damon scoffed with disbelief and bemused.
Bonnie turned her head to the Original vampire in surprise at his defending her. "Do you not know the importance of using proper etiquette when it comes to witches and warlocks?"
The older Salvatore rudely rolled his eyes, ignore the Original vampire and aggressively shake his head with a frustrated glint in his eyes. "Whatever. I don't care anymore. I'm done." He doesn't want to be around anyone in the family room. He sharply turned around, and storm out of the room.
Elena and Stefan exchanged glances for a moment then the young Salvatore stood up to his feet. "We need to talk, Elena." He mumbled to his girlfriend with silent pleading. The brunette nodded her head and follow him out of the family room.
"I'll be back." The doppelgänger informed the witch and the Original vampire before leaving with Stefan for a private conversation.
The slight awkward silence appeared in the room. Bonnie inwardly sighed while glancing over to Elijah who is quiet and calm. "Well…he sure wasn't happy about this information." She muttered, uncomfortable while carefully playing with the jar back and forth in her hands.
"You mean the fact that an impudent century-year-old child throws a tantrum because he wasn't satisfied with answers." The Noble Original deadpanned, unimpressed with the older immature Salvatore.
The Bennett witch open her mouth but then slowly closed it as she couldn't deny the fact. Damon was throwing tantrums. She thought about what Elijah's said that caught her interest. "Is it really important of using etiquette?" Bonnie questioned, genuinely curious.
Elijah casually put his hands in his slack's pockets with calculating eyes on the tiny witch. "Of course, Miss Bennett. Witches are connected to magic. Vampires, werewolves, humans, and supernatural beings do not have the abilities that witches can do. This is why there are requests and prices involved when we want to do business with witches and warlocks. Unfortunately, nowadays… no one bothers with such manners." He explained, solemnly.
"What happen?" Bonnie clutched her fingers around the potion.
The Original vampire eyeing the Bennett witch thoughtfully. "It is a bit of a long tale. I will tell you someday." He promised. "For now, do you think you could increase the chance for Miss Gilbert's survival?"
Bonnie scrutinize Elijah for a brief moment then lowered her gaze to the jar in her hands. "I could try." She slowly closed her eyes and focus on the potion. While Elijah's eyes sharpen with heavily contemplative at the tiny witch.

Meanwhile…
Caroline wipes the salty off her fingers with the napkin while Kol is sitting sideway on the cushioned bench across from his vampire, leaning against the wall while his ankles are crossed. The blonde-haired beauty dropped the dirty napkin into the empty small basket and picked up her phone.
She placed her phone against her ear while her other hand touches the cool glass of water. "Alright, now where was I?" she playfully narrowed her eyes ahead of her while Kol watches her with amusement. "I remember now, I was asking you if you are close to your brothers?" she is curious about her ghost friend while pretending she is talking on the phone.
Kol wrinkles his nose with a face. "Finn is boring and standoffish. He is a bloody downer and hated what he is. He hates us." He blunted, straightforward. "Elijah tries to be a responsible brother, but I am not particularly close to him. He and Klaus are very close. Klaus, God I hate that paranoid bastard. Always stabbing me with a fucking dagger and trap me in a box for years." He muttered, as he thought about it, he wasn't close to any of his siblings. Not even his sister, Rebekah.
True that Kol did at least share some trust with Rebekah, but she betrayed him. She chose Klaus over him. The three of his siblings—Elijah, Klaus, and Rebekah are Always and Forever. Never include him or Finn.
Finn never joins in because he loathed being the night of the creature, being the Original vampire. He is suicidal with a heavy depressing heart. Not even his love, Sage is enough for Finn to accept himself as a dangerous immortal creature. The eldest of the Original vampires alerted their father to the location of their supposed-hidden-safe-haven. Because of Finn's reckless action, Klaus daggered the eldest Original vampire and was trapped inside the coffin for nine hundred years.
And Kol is eternally a black sheep of the family. He's a wild card. A free-spirited. Prankster and sneaky mischief fox. Always causes mayhem and chaos everywhere he goes. Always leaves trails of messy bodies behind in a gruesome and bloody way. Never satisfied with enough blood, always need it more and more. Be the predator that hunts down prey.
Kol's muse went further on when he thought more about his siblings. Klaus is a scary monster because of his mixture of two supernatural species—vampire and werewolf. Elijah is a faux-soldier monster with an intense savage beast crawling inside of his body. Finn has a desperate angry beast inside of him that he refuses to release. Rebekah is a bloody vicious creature that isn't afraid to show her fangs and claws.
However, out of all the siblings in the Original vampires…
Kol Mikaelson is one of the most dangerous creatures in the supernatural world.
The Original Prince is unpredictable and wild. He became a bloodthirsty sinister monster. He became a nightmare. People use him in folktales to scare misbehavior children. Witches are cautious of him. Vampires fear him just by his reputation alone. Werewolves avoids him when they heard his name. And it's because of him—
He's the one who started with the horror stories about vampires.
Of course, the time has calmed his terrorize beast. Plus, his stupid brother daggered him in a coffin and missed decades of time. And he bitterly thought about how he was betrayed by his sister in the year of nineteen-fourteen.
Although, he doesn't know how nor why but at least, he gets to meet a beautiful creature being that caught his undead heart. He blinked as he glances at his beautiful vampire who leaned her chin on the palm as her elbow rested on the table.
Her eyes are closed, tilted slightly on the phone against her ear. Kol's dark eyes soften with adoration, taking his time to memorize her features even though he already long memorized ago. He couldn't help himself but wanted to study her stunning face once again.
He wants to make sure that his brain can never forget this beautiful vampire that he is in love with.
His muse snapped out of it when Caroline opens her mouth. "Something tells me that you aren't close to them. However, I did get one name I never heard of." She opens her eyes halfway with a questioning frown. "Finn." She carefully said the name. "I assume that name belongs to a different brother?"
"Correct, darling." Kol lifted his hand over the table, and gently tap her forearm in response.
The blonde-haired beauty hummed thoughtfully. Before she could ask another question, a voice interjected their usual bonding time. "Care…" Caroline turned her head as she dropped her palm on the table.
Kol frown at Matt who smiles friendly at the blonde-haired beauty. Fortunately for Matt, Kol doesn't care much about the human jock anymore.
"Hey, Matt." Caroline smiles kindly as she greeted her friend.
The Quarterback jock picked up the dishes from the table into the bucket. "You're still on the phone?" he questioned, surprised.
"Oh, just finished it, actually." Caroline pretends to hang up the phone with giggles as a spark of mischievous in her blue-green orbs. Kol's lip twitched with an amused smirk displayed on his face.
Matt nodded his head then he glance around. "Have you heard anything from Tyler?" he asked, concerned. He turn his blue gaze back to Caroline who looked confused while the transparent Original made a disgusted face.
"Why the bloody hell are you asking for that mangy werewolf." Kol muttered, sour.
Caroline shook her head in response and noticed her friend's shoulders slumped with disappointment and worry. "What's wrong?"
"Taylor's mom got in an accident." The blonde-haired beauty gasps softly with shock. "Yeah… she's in the hospital and Tyler is still not here. I know for a fact that he would want to go see his mother." Matt explained.
The blonde-haired beauty frowned with worried, and concern for Mayor Lockwood. "That's awful! What happened to her?" she put her phone away in her purse.
"She had a terrible fall." Matt answered, stepping back when Caroline slides out of the bench while Kol pushed himself off the seat gracefully.
Caroline picked up her jean jacket, and shove her bare arms into the sleeves. "Well, I don't know where Tyler is, but I can go and visit Mrs. Lockwood." She adjusted her jacket.
"Of course. Amber and I are going to visit her later." The Quarterback jock informed her with an understanding smile.
The blonde-haired beauty nearly cooed at her friend who is bringing his crush to visit the Mayor. "Are you two together officially?" she blurted, shamelessly nosy as Kol shakes his head fondly with a small smile.
Matt released airily and chuckled from his lips. "Umm… yeah. We're officially dating." Caroline excitedly clasped her hands together and pressed them against her big grinning lips. "Knowing you, you want details, and all I can say, I'll tell you later." Kol snorted. "You got that right, mate" he commented, amused while Matt glances over his shoulders with alertness. "I'm kind of working right now and I don't want to get yell by my boss."
"Of course!" Caroline understands. "We'll talk later." After they exchange a quick farewell and separated into their own business.
The blonde-haired beauty and the mischief Original ambled their way to the exit doors. Unaware that a pair of miserable eyes watching oblivious Caroline.
Sheriff Forbes continues looking until Caroline left the building. The mother slowly closed her teary eyes, silently mourning over her daughter. Every time she tries, she forces herself to see a vampire but no matter what…
She kept seeing her daughter. Even though that is not Caroline. Just a monster acting as her daughter.
Yet, why is she still hesitating?

Later…
Bonnie handed the jar to Elijah. "I managed to feed some of my power into the magic inside the potion." She stated, feeling a bit mentally exhausted since it has taken an amount of her energy and concentration to grow the old magic. Thanks to her ancestor's grimoire and Elijah's suggestions, Bonnie finally did it. "Elena's chance to return back the living can happen." Her tense and anxious shoulders relax with relief.
"That is excellent news, Miss Bennett." Elijah admired her powerful work. Bonnie smiles somewhat shyly at his praise. The Original vampire examined the elixir with a pondering face. "What is your price?"
The Bennett witch blinked at him, confused. "W-what?"
"Your payment, Miss Bennett." Elijah carefully put the jar into the wooden box. "After all, I did request for your magic." He raises his questioning eyebrow at a speechless witch. "You do deserve to have something in return."
Bonnie did almost forget about that. She honestly doesn't know what kind of payment she wants from the Original vampire. "…you don't need to do that. Just knowing that Elena will come back is enough for me." She declared, with satisfaction that knowing her best friend can come back alive.
Elijah examined the tiny witch with a puzzling glint in his eyes. "Are you sure?" he asked, just in case. After all, in his entire thousand years of life—
Witches and warlocks always get something in return for using their magic. No matter what the cost. It was always cash, old spells from his collection of grimoires, powerful tools and/or trinkets, or even a favor. Either one of them was chosen by witches and warlocks. There is no such thing as "free" when it involves magic. Klaus could always threaten or charm a witch for "free" but they always get in something in return.
After all, magic always comes with a price.
He doesn't remember a single witch that is willing to do magic without any payment. His eyes lit up with truly curious about this perplexing and mystery witch. A powerful witch from the famous and noble Bennett Coven.
Who would've thought he met a selfless witch.
A Bennett witch, at that.
Bonnie Bennett is strangely similar to his old friend, Ayana.
Suddenly he got an epiphany. Deliberately, his eyes soften with the knowledge that Bonnie might be unlike any other witches.
"I'm sure." Bonnie affirmed, positive without any payment from the Original vampire with a pleasing smile. Elijah softly returns his small smile at her, unlike his faux-polite smile. They both stared at each other with a contemplative and somehow peaceful aura around them.
Until a familiar feminine voice breaks their staring contact. "Sorry about that." Elena walked inside the family room with a sigh. "Stefan is going to talk with Damon. I thought he'd understand why I'm willing to do this but…" Elena trailed off with disappointment as she approached the witch and the Original vampire.
Bonnie subtlety step away at a safe distance from Elijah, without realizing they were getting close. The Noble Original turned around with a neutral face, watching the doppelgänger step toward the wooden box. Elena reached the elixir jar, lifted it upright, and carefully studied it with wonder.
"Why are you?" Elijah questioned, puzzled why someone like Elena is willing to die.
The brunette glanced up at Elijah with resolved. "I'm the key to breaking the curse. Klaus is here because of me. If I don't stop him, then he's going to hurt people. It's that simple." She answered.
"You should thank Miss Bennett for increasing your chance to survive after your death." Elijah proclaimed, shifting his attentive eyes on the petite witch who was taken aback by his thoughtful word. She wasn't used to acknowledging by someone because of her work.
Elena turned her head to Bonnie with a thankful smile. "Thank you, Bonnie."
"Of course!" the Bennett witch is still surprised but it wasn't a bad thing. She couldn't help but glance at the Noble Original with ponder face.
Unexpectedly, a door slammed open. "Guys!" the sound of running footsteps heard which caught all others' puzzled and bemused attention and quickly left the family room.
Soon, everyone stood in the corridor when they saw Alaric panting. As if he's been running for miles. "It's—it's Klaus… he's here." Then he observed each of them with a solemn face. "…and I think he used my body and pretend to be me for days." He gravelly announced which shocked them except Elijah closed his eyes, mixed exasperated and resigned.
"He also wanted me to deliver a message." Alaric added as stared at Elena with a worried glint in his eyes. "The sacrifice happens tonight."

Hospital
Parking Lot
Meanwhile…
The blonde-haired beauty and Kol sauntered their way toward the hospital. The transparent Original doesn't understand why they have to visit Mayor Lockwood. He doesn't care about the human woman. However, his darling vampire is kind-hearted and she is worried about Mrs. Lockwood so, he has to deal with it.
"It's a good thing I like you, darling." Kol muttered, shoving his hands in his pockets with a boredom sigh. He wasn't fond of the hospital at all, not when Caroline was murdered by that harlot vampire bitch. His face shifted to dark scowling as he perfectly recalled when he was forced to watch his girl suffocate to death. How he can't wait to return to his body and become a hunter to hunt down that slag vampire doppelgänger.
"Tyler?" Caroline halted with a surprised blink when she saw Tyler.
"No." Kol instantly rebuffed with a sour face. Why the fuck is this gif werewolf doing here?!
Then the blonde-haired beauty noticed Jules. "Jules." Caroline frowned cautiously at the werewolf who was responsible for aiding in kidnapping her weeks ago. Kol glares at the werewolf bitch darkly.
Jules sighs loudly with irked then glance at Tyler who stares longing at the blonde-haired beauty than at Caroline who is warily and confused. "I'll give you a few minutes." She informed Tyler with warning eyes.
"How about hell bloody no." Kol snapped, angrily.
"Thank you." The Lockwood werewolf appreciates while staring at Caroline.
Jules narrowed her eyes at the young werewolf. "Just a few, Tyler." She emphasized, making sure he got her serious message.
Tyler turned his eyes to her with exasperated. "I got it." Jules nods her head and then walks ahead, leaving them to have their own private talk. Kol swats his hand over the werewolf bitch, unfortunately, it's futile. Much to Kol's frustration and disappointment.
Caroline crossed her arms, defensive while eyeing her former friend. Tyler cleared his throat awkwardly and examined the blonde-haired beauty. "She's just making sure I'm safe." He explained, nervously.
"Why are you nervous?" Kol demanded with a suspicious frown at the git werewolf.
"So what, are you two, like, friends now?" Caroline cocked her eyebrow at him, disbelieving. She couldn't believe her former friend is close to one of her kidnappers.
The Lockwood werewolf shoves his hands in his jacket's pocket, uneasily. "…she's been helping me." Then he shakes his head. "How are you?" the wild Original stared at him with a face while Caroline frowned at him with questioning sparks in her eyes. However, he didn't get any response, so he changed the topic. "Anyways… I visited my mom. She's banged up, but she'll be okay." He added, hopeful for his crush to say anything.
"…I've heard." Caroline answered, solemnly. "I was just about to visit her." She held her guard up with a carefully neutral face. Kol approved of his vampire's defense. However, he would love it if Caroline ignored the git werewolf and leave him behind.
Tyler inhaled for a bit then exhaled. "Well… umm… I should get going. Jules and I need to get on the road."
"Excellent. By all means, feel free to leave. And don't come back." The prince Original stepped aside, waving his arm at the open space as if a gesture of allowing the young werewolf to leave without anything in his way.
The blonde-haired beauty frowns deeply, watching the werewolf saunter his way down the parking lot. Caroline shakes her head, turns around, and took a couple of steps—
Suddenly, Caroline holds her head violently and screams out in agony. "What the fuck!?" Kol immediately darts to his vampire's side with worried. "Darling! What's wrong?!" the transparent Original is fretting over the blonde-haired beauty with panic and confusion.
While Tyler suddenly grabbed his head, and fell to his knees over the terribly pain unaware a warlock step out of his hiding place with his hand outstretched in a claw pointed at the Lockwood werewolf. Tyler fainted from indescribable pain.
Caroline dropped her knees against the pavement, harshly. Her fingers dug into her hair while screaming in pain. Kol jerked his head up when he saw a witch appear behind his vampire, holding the syringe.
"Oh fuck!" Kol curses as he tried to use his ghost power, but it was too late until the witch stabbed a needle into Caroline's neck, and injected vervain into her. "No, no, no! Not again!" he watches his vampire slowly close her eyes and fell into unconsciousness.
The witch smirked smugly at the warlock. "Let's go."
Kol slowly glares at the witch bitch furiously with a raging beast inside of him. "I will tear your limbs apart and beat you to death." He darkly vowed.

Later…
Everyone gathered in the living room, listening to the story from Alaric who is explaining about how he lost three days. How Klaus was using his body to gather intel and no one knew. Stefan was pacing back and forth while Alaric finished his enlightenment.
"—you don't remember anything that happened?" Stefan questioned, interested and curious.
Alaric shakes his head, weary. "No. It's like I blacked out and woke up three days later. Katherine was there." He added the last part, confused.
Elijah's eyes glint with coldness when he heard her name. He is standing behind the couch as Bonnie is sitting in the middle of the couch. Elena is sitting on one of the cushion chairs. "She's under compulsion." Stefan shared, he halted and rubbed his chin out of habit. "Damon snuck her some vervain, but she can't leave until Klaus tells her she can." He informed Alaric.
"Where is Damon?" Elena speaks up, puzzled after she realized the older Salvatore is missing.
Bonnie glanced at Elena with a puzzling frown. "He went upstairs."
The doppelgänger bit her lip thoughtfully, then she stood up from the chair and walk out of the family room. Bonnie raises her bemused eyebrow at her best friend who seems concerned for an older Salvatore for some reason.
When Elena left, Alaric turned his attention to the other with an anxious face. "What did I do while I was…gone." He asked, nervously.
"That's the thing—" Stefan shrugs his shoulders. "—nothing. Just… using some kind of scare tactic by using compulsion on humans and make everyone on edges."
Bonnie leaned back against the stuffed throw pillows while listening to Stefan explaining to Alaric what happened over the last three days. From the corner of her eyes, a figure moves which made her tip her head back with questioning.
Elijah is close to the back of the couch, closer to her, and yet he tilted his head with slightly dazed eyes. The Bennett witch silently wondered what the Noble Original is doing. 'Is he eavesdropping or something?' she mused, feeling weirded out.
How… normal for someone like Elijah is doing eavesdrop like a sneaky little kid.
Suddenly, Stefan jerked his head up with alarm then vamp-speed out of the room. Alaric jumped to his feet and run after the young Salvatore.
"What the hell?" Bonnie blurted it out, astonished as she pushed herself up to her feet. She whirled around, facing the Original vampire bewildered. "What the hell is happening?"
Elijah calmly closed his eyes with an exasperated sigh. "That foolish impudent child forced to feed Miss Gilbert his blood." The tiny witch paled with horror shocked.
"Why?!" the petite witch snapped, perplexed. "We have the elixir!"
The Noble Original opens his eyes. "Apparently, he doesn't trust the potion to bring Miss Gilbert back to the living." He stated, blankly.
Bonnie never felt so disrespectful and hurt by the fact that older Salvatore doesn't trust her powers to bring Elena back alive. Her hurt flash in her eyes made Elijah wants to punish that foolish vampire. "But… the elixir can and will work. I've worked on it." She whispered, as her fingers curled into tight fists.
"I am aware of that, Miss Bennett. It is Mr. Salvatore who has issues and decided to solve the problem with his answer." Elijah said, unimpressed with the older Salvatore's rash decision.
The Bennett witch is slowly feeling the anger bubbling inside of her. Elijah eyed the tiny witch cautiously as he suddenly felt the heavy atmosphere. The Noble Original decided to not talk to the angry witch while he went to the long table where the wooden box was located. He adjusted the jar into the box properly.
Elijah open his mouth the moment Damon stepped into the room. "Well, it sounds like you won't be needing this anymore. Feeding her vampire blood rendered it useless." He closed the lid of the wooden box. Damon grabbed a bottle of bourbon, pour into the cup, and almost slam it on the table. "Tell Miss Gilbert I'll be back before nightfall. We'll proceed as planned."
"We both know that elixir wouldn't have worked anyway." The older Salvatore snapped at the Original vampire.
Elijah paused, glancing over at the silently fuming witch. "That is where you are wrong, Mr. Salvatore. True, I was not sure if the elixir would work. However, thanks to Miss Bennett's assistance… she managed to make the potion succeed with a higher chance to return alive for Miss Gilbert."
"I don't trust it." The older Salvatore retorted, grabbing his cup of whiskey as he turned his icy-blue eyes to Bonnie. "Sorry Bonnie. But I just can't. My way is better. At least I know that Elena will come back alive."
Bonnie scoffed at him with incredulity. "You betrayed her. She won't ever forgive you. You know that she doesn't want to become a vampire."
"I agreed with Miss Bennett." Elijah grabbed the wooden box from the table. It's a shame that Bonnie's magic turned out to be a waste all because of a foolish vampire. "When Elena returns as a vampire, you won't be forgiven by her. Not for a very long time." He warned Damon, blankly.
Then the Original vampire turned his gaze to Bonnie. "Would you like me to give you a ride back to your home, Miss Bennett?" he offered.
Bonnie thought about it. She should stay and comfort Elena. However, the full moon is tonight and she doesn't want to waste her time. Maybe there will be another way, a spell or something from the grimoires back in her house. 'I'm going to try to find answers for you, Elena. Please wait for me.' She mused, resolved, and nodded her head in response to Elijah's question. "Please." She grabbed her grimoire from the couch and ambled around the furniture.
"Really, Bonnie?" Damon raises his eyebrow at her, judging her for her to willing go with the Original vampire. "I thought you hated vampires." He mockingly said, lifting his cup of whiskey.
Suddenly, the cup exploded on him, and brown-golden liquid splashed over his face and chest. He stared bewildered at the furious witch.
"At least he trusts me with my magic and respects me enough not to let it go waste." Bonnie snapped at the older Salvatore. "I'm going to try and figure out if I can find a way to bring Elena back alive without becoming a vampire." The petite witch sends her rage glare at Damon and then followed Elijah out of the family room.

Road
Moment Later…
Elijah took off in his car, as he is controlling the steering wheel quietly. He could feel the furious and intense magic around a certain tiny Bennett witch in the passenger's seat. The Noble Original glance over at Bonnie who is glaring at the scenery through the window.
He opens his mouth. "Are you truly going to find a way to bring Miss Gilbert back alive as a human?" he questioned, interested. His dark eyes stay on the road ahead of him.
Bonnie's hands slowly curled into tight fists on the grimoire that lays on her lap. "Yes. There has to be another way." She attempts to recall any spell that she did look through not too long ago. Then, she just remembered that she is sitting next to a thousand-year-old vampire.
"Please tell me you know a spell that can bring Elena back alive?" the petite witch jerked her head to Elijah hopeful and desperate. Bonnie really wants to save her best friend as she knew that Elena doesn't want to be a vampire.
The Original vampire hummed contemplatively as his index finger silently drummed against the steering wheel. He tried to recall any from his past whenever he has experiences doing work business with witches and warlocks. Then he briefly remembered a certain powerful witch that was once his old lover. She was a brilliant witch who came up with fantastic and powerful spells. Unfortunately, she died.
He almost instantly shoves that old memory back as he doesn't want to think of her. Elijah slowly halted his car in front of the red light in the street. "One thing I learned throughout my entire thousand years of life—there's a spell for everything. I would not be surprised if there is an old spell somewhere hidden that could potentially bring someone back to life as a human." He voiced out.
"Then, I'll find it." Bonnie said, determined as her olive-green eyes flare with fire.
Elijah shifted his gaze to her with calculating. "Tonight is a full moon, Miss. Bennett. I do not know if you will be able to find the spell in time." He warned her, slightly gentle.
The Bennett witch bit her inner cheek as she realize that the Original vampire is right. She has too many grimoires, it's practically impossible to search one spell by tonight. "I… I can't give up. Even if it means I'll have to reach every grimoire as fast as I can then…" Bonnie is hesitant, as she silently wishes she has her Grams with her.
Her Grams would know what to do.
Elijah eyed Bonnie's fiery eyes slowly dim which he didn't like it for some reason. "If you want, I can offer my assistance to find a spell with you?" he watches Bonnie's eyes brighten up and stared at him with astonished and relucent hope.
"Really?" Bonnie whispered, slightly wondering.
The Original vampire tipped his head in response which made Bonnie beamed at him with relief. Her eyes lit up that reminds him of an emerald gemstone. "Thank you…" Elijah start driving once the red light shifted to green.
"…I need to grab a few of my grimoires. We can look at them at the old witch's house." The Bennett witch said. As much as she kind of tolerated this Noble Original. She refuses to invite him into her house since her house is one of the safe vampire-free places. Bonnie wants to keep it that way.
"Of course." Elijah understood her hidden intention. He was not offended nor insulted that the tiny witch won't invite him to her home.
In fact, he admired and approved of her cautious around him. She was certainly not a fool nor naïve.
Bonnie Bennett is a smart young woman.

Church Tomb
Later…
The wild Original is beyond furious. Why does his vampire always get in danger? He felt like Caroline is a danger magnet since danger seems to like her a bit too much. He is cursing under his breath darkly while pacing back and forth inside the tomb.
At this rate, he is going to have a full on Must-Kill-List to do since apparently, his bastard paranoid brother is pushing him down to the bottom of the list.
Who would've thought?
Kol halted sharply when he heard his vampire's breath hitches in astonishment shocked. His dark eyes instantly turned to Caroline who is chained against the wall across from the Lockwood werewolf who is also chained up as well.
The blonde-haired beauty blinked around, completely perplexed and slightly disoriented. Kol went to her side, bend down and frown with concern for her. "Darling…" he muttered, reaching to Caroline's jaw with his fingertips.
Caroline shivers at the familiar icy-touch, unknowingly that her tense muscles relax. Her mind almost quickly remembered what happened to her as her eyes starts to clear from the blurry. Her blue-green orbs scanned around until she spots Tyler across from her.
"Tyler…" she mumbled, baffled. Not understanding why she and Tyler are both chained up against the wall inside the old tomb.
Tyler perked up with relief and concern. "You all right?"
Kol rolls his eyes at the git werewolf. "Does she look all right to you, mangy dog?" he glares at the Lockwood werewolf with disgust and irked. Why is this thing here with his vampire?
Caroline examined around her with a confused frown as she didn't bother to answer her former friend. Her green-blue eyes went to her wrists. The iron shackles around her wrists with chains that were attached behind her. She wrapped her hands around the chains, and pull them down with all her strength yet it won't break.
"It won't work, sweetheart. The minger witch or an areshole warlock used magic to trap you and that git werewolf. It's impossible to escape." The prince Original muttered, angrily when he was useless to help his vampire. Caroline heard some words from her ghost friend which made her slowly feel anxious.
Kol doesn't understand why he can't use his stupid ghost power to stop them from kidnapping Caroline. He did it whenever Caroline is in danger which is slightly easy. However, he recalled how he used the pencil to stop that wanker from kissing her during Halloween time. How he somehow transferred that stuffed cat to her. And how he threw the Lockwood werewolf away from Caroline when he kissed her.
There's got to be something he can do. He knows that is connected to emotions but what exactly emotion he was supposed to do? Angry? Fear? Sad? Happy?
He watches his vampire struggling to stand but ended up falling down on her backside. She leaned heavily against the wall in pain and weariness. "That bitch vervained me." She mumbled, exasperated. Familiar with the terrible experience when it comes to vervain.
"Who were they?" Tyler questioned, bemused. He tries to get Caroline to answer him, but refuses to give up. Kol sends an irked glare at him.
The blonde-haired beauty attempted to jerk the chains around her hands weakly. "I think they're with Klaus."
"You might be right about that, darling." The wild Original scowled darkly when he thought about his brother. Why the hell did they kidnap his vampire and that git werewolf?
Tyler's eyebrows furrowed deeply, perplexed and lost. "Who the hell is Klaus?"
Suddenly, Caroline and Kol froze when the realization hit them. A vampire and a werewolf are trapped inside the tomb. Klaus' witch and warlock kidnapped them. Tonight is the full moon.
Slowly the blonde-haired beauty dropped her head back with apprehension while Kol curses loudly. "Tyler… you shouldn't have come back here."
"What do you mean? Wh-why? What's going on?" Tyler spits out a bunch of questions, completely bewildered. He doesn't what is happening right now. "Why did they kidnap us? Trapped us in here? I don't understand, Caroline! Please explain to me!" he snapped, uneasiness and edgy.
"Watch your tone, bloody werewolf!" the prince Original throw his dark stink eyes at the werewolf. He sat next to his vampire and leaned his back against the wall as his knees propped up. He lazily places his left arm on one of his prop knees while his other hand gently touches Caroline's hand.
The blonde-haired beauty glances down at the freezing-touch on her hand. Knowing that her ghost friend is close to her. It has calmed her fear. Slowly, she lifted her gaze up to the lost werewolf across from her. A weary sigh released from her lips. "Do you know about the Sun and the Moon curse?"
"Yeah…?" Tyler trailed off, eyeing the blonde-haired beauty.
"It's fake." Caroline blunted, straight to the point.
Kol's lip twitched with amusement. He truly loves it when his darling vampire uses her straightforwardness.
The Lockwood werewolf stared incredulity and astonished at her. Caroline nodded her head at his speechless reaction. "Yeah. That was my reaction when I learned about it too." She thought about how Elijah told her and Bonnie about the tale behind the fake curse created. "Klaus is the one who is cursed. He's been trying to break it for a thousand years." She added, solemnly.
"…and this whole time I've been gone. Jules has been helping me come to terms with what I am. How to deal with it. So we can not worry about curse once we break it…" Tyler scoffed with disbelief. "…why are we here?"
Caroline's lips pressed together with hesitation while Kol made a bitter face. "I think we are going to be sacrificed…" she noticed Tyler staring at her flabbergasted. "…Klaus needs to do certain things in a ritual. The sacrifices… a moonstone, a vampire, a werewolf, a witch, and a doppelgänger."
"…he's going to kill us…because you're a vampire—" Tyler pointed at her as Caroline nod her head while Kol scowled at him. "—I'm a werewolf—" he pointed at himself with dread. "…for Klaus to break a curse?" he said, just to clarify as he is attempting to understand the situation he is in.
"Fucking paranoid bastard!" the prince Original's eyes darkened with fury. He refuses to let his vampire be sacrificed!
The git werewolf could die for all he cares.
Caroline nodded her head in response. Tyler slumped against the wall with overwhelming and speechless. The intense silence appeared inside the tomb.
'Kol…' Caroline lowered her gaze at her hand, it's still icy cold and it brings her comfort and safety. Because Kol is still with her, by her side.
She wishes she could touch his hand too.

Mystic Falls
Woods
Meanwhile…
Silent of calculating and swift footstep across through the woods. A tall soldier vampire paused in the middle of the forest. The sky has painted a mixture of pink, orange, and red as the sun is setting.
Harper carefully examines his surrounding quietly. He just returned from the trip, when he was visited his pseudo-sister's grave. Harper checked on Sheriff Forbes and then went to his Lady who he discovered is missing.
Instantly, he uses his tracking skills to figure it out. He won't let anything happen to Emmanuella's descendant. Harper thought Caroline would be at least safe since she has a Bennett witch with her.
It seems that Bennett witch didn't realize just how important her role is for the Sáõ. He will need to talk to Lady Caroline about it. And have an important conversation with the Bennett witch as well.
For now, Harper is searching for his missing Lady.
His sharp superior vision found tracks on the ground, following them down further into the woods. Then he spots an abandoned tomb from the distance where he used to be trapped. He quickly steps forward as his mind is on a mission to rescue Caroline.
However, he paused when he heard a voice speak out. "Which one are you trying to save?" Harper turned his head over his shoulder with a blank face. "The blond, or the wolf?" the warlock strode over with confidence. "Klaus would never leave them unprotected." He added, stopping as he carefully studied the unfamiliar vampire.
The warlock doesn't recognize this vampire. Klaus made sure he and the witch knew everyone just in case. However, this vampire is unfamiliar.
"A warlock." Harper stated, easily spots supernatural species. He had been around witches and warlocks during his centuries. They never cross him once they realize he is a soldier vampire. All because of his dark history when he caused a bloodbath against witches who attempted to trap and control him when he was barely a century-old vampire.
Many supernatural beings wanted a soldier vampire to control and to use as a weapon. Unfortunately for them, soldier vampires are not made to be tame and controlled. Which is one of the reasons why they were hunted down and made sure that solider in war must never turn into a vampire.
Harper Rolfe is one of the soldier vampires in a war that was turned. However, he was fortunate that he has his own sanity return—
Thanks to Emmanuella.
The warlock is tense with edge and cautious as he is eyeing the soldier vampire. "You're…not a normal vampire." He muttered, putting up in defense.
Harper silently wondered if this warlock would recognize him if he utter his infamous name. In the supernatural community, his old infamous name is still well-known as they used him for horror stories and bedtime stories for misbehavior children. Especially the witches and warlocks. He doesn't particularly care much about vampires, werewolves, or other species, however…
He wasn't fond of witches and warlocks except for the Bennett witches.
Although, he "retired" and hasn't been that type of person ever since Emmanuella saved him. It's been nearly two centuries. He wasn't sure if his old name still strike fear in witches and warlocks…
He would walk away from this warlock however, he has Caroline.
"Please return her to me safely." Harper turned around to face the warlock properly.
The warlock snorted. "Sorry, no can do." A smug smirk appeared on his face. He stared at Harper with intense eyes.
Veins popped inside of Harper's mind, over and over as the soldier vampire's teeth gritted harshly. Yet, he remains standing as his fingers curled tighter at his sides. The warlock frowned warily at him. "What the… what the fuck are you?" he whispered, astonished.
Harper heavily steps forward as his eyes glinted with promising violence. "You made a terrible mistake, warlock. You took her and you just made me be your enemy." He uses his unusual vamp-speed which startled the man.
Suddenly, the warlock was pinned down and choked by a hand of a soldier vampire. Before the warlock could use his magic, he is petrified when he stares at semi-feral filled in the soldier vampire's eyes. "It has been a very long time since I touch the warlock's blood." He muttered, coldly.
The warlock paled when apprehension hit him as his eyes widen in horror and his heart beating fast with fright. "I-Impossible…" he chokes with terror. "…y-you s-supposed to be a…myth…" he stuttered, panicked.
"I prefer that way however, I will and forever always be The Finder to those whoever dare harm my Lady." Harper darkly declared.
The sound of a sickening crack was heard through the woods.
Harper stood up to his feet quietly while his blank cold eyes were on the dead broken neck warlock. It's a bit unusual for him to kill warlocks and witches without blood involved. He never did a clean kill with them before. Maybe being retired made him change a bit. Or that he got his sanity returned to him.
The soldier vampire shook his muse away as he doesn't want to waste his time when Emmanuella's descendant is in trouble.

Church Tomb
Moment Later…
The blonde-haired beauty continues to ignore the werewolf who attempted to talk to her however, it was useless. Tyler gave up much to Kol's relief and satisfaction. They've been sitting in intense and edgy silence in the tomb for a while.
Kol has been comforting his vampire with his icy-cold touch on her hand and cheek. He knew Caroline needs reassurance that she is not alone. That he is still with her.
Unexpectedly, they heard the door open. All heads jerked in the direction where the pathway located was. A brief moment of anxiety and fear filled in the air until Harper revealed himself when he steps in further into the room.
Caroline gasps with wonder while transparent Original exhaled with relief. Tyler stiff warily with a suspicious frown.
"My Lady…" Harper used his unusual vamp-speed toward her. Ignore the Lockwood werewolf who flinched as he slammed his body back into the wall with incredulity appalled. Tyler was not used to seeing such crazy high speed from the night of the creature.
"Thank bloody Goddess that you're here!" Kol murmured, knowing that his vampire is now safe.
The soldier vampire grasps his hand around the shackles of Caroline's wrist. He easily breaks it with his special superior strength. Kol wondered if the soldier vampire killed the warlock or witch since they were the ones who spelled them.
"Thank you." Caroline whispered with gratitude as Harper gently helped her to her feet. Kol steps close to his vampire, almost impatiently. "We need to leave right now, darling." he urges his vampire to hurry.
However, the blonde-haired beauty glance over at Tyler thoughtfully. As much as he was her former friend. She does still care about him. "Harper… can you please help him."
Kol made a sour face. "Bloody hell no! It's almost dark!" he refuses to let that git werewolf be free. Especially since tonight is a full moon.
It's too much of a risk that could literally put his vampire in serious danger. She can be killed.
The soldier vampire narrowed his eyes at the Lockwood werewolf for a brief moment. He sauntered his way to the werewolf, grabbed the chains, and break them off effortlessly. "You must hurry. The full moon will arrive soon." He warned the young werewolf, gravelly.
Harper whirled around, grabbed Caroline before she could speak, and rapidly vamp-speed out of the tomb. Kol's eyes widen as he suddenly felt the harsh violent pull. "Ah, not bloody aga—" he vanished.

Moment Later…
Harper tips his head at the door. "Please stay inside, my Lady." They arrived just a minute ago, thanks to the soldier vampire's unusual speed.
The blonde-haired beauty paused at the doorway, turned around, and concerned glint in her blue-green orbs. "Can you please make sure Tyler is locked up? In Lockwood's cellar. I know he doesn't want to hurt innocent people. Please, Harper?" she pleaded, not wanting anyone to get hurt or die.
"If that's what you wish." Harper said, politely.
Caroline nodded her head with hopeful. "Please." She watches Harper half-bowed to her and then left at a swift speed. "…still can't get used to that." She muttered, awestruck.
The blonde-haired beauty is relieved that Tyler will be locked up safely in his family's cellar. She knew Harper is a very strong vampire. Caroline stepped inside of her home, shut the door behind her, and leaned against it. "Kol…" she called out to her ghost friend.
However, there is no response.
"Kol?" the blonde-haired beauty frowned, worried and confused. Why isn't he reply to her with his icy-cold touch? "Are you there? Kol?" she ambled down the foyer to the stairs. Waiting for Kol to answer. "Kol?"
Nothing.
Caroline ascended the stairs as her heart beat fast with anxiety and bother. Why isn't the ghost Original responding to her?
"Kol?" she quickly went to her bedroom and scanned around with a nervous glint in her eyes. "Where are you? Why aren't you answering me? Kol?" she called out, once again.
Again, no reply.
The blonde-haired beauty wrapped her arms around her, starting to feel troubled and worried. "…Kol?" she whispered, pleading for him to say or do anything.
Caroline is standing in the middle of her bedroom, and she never realizes just how quiet and lonely it was.
Where is Kol?

Meanwhile…
The older Salvatore trudge through the woods while scanning around cautiously. He was on his way to rescue Caroline from the tomb; however, he did find a dead warlock and an empty tomb instead. Someone came and rescued them.
Damon doesn't know who it was, but at least Klaus' ritual won't happen tonight. He needs to leave and inform his brother and Elena that they have more time.
His phone ring alerted him as he grabbed his phone from his pocket. "Hey." He greeted, coolly.
"Where the hell are you?"
The older Salvatore smirks. "I have good news, brother. I'll tell you when I see you. Just make sure to tell Elena to stay put."
"She's already gone, Damon."
Damon paused as his smirk fell. "What?" he snapped, perplexed.
"Klaus came. He took her."
He curses under his breath as his icy-blue eyes harden. "I'll take care of it." He hangs up before Stefan could reply. Damon shoves his phone in his pocket with a new reckless plan made inside his mind.
A loud dangerously growled was heard through the woods. Damon paused, slowly glancing around in the dark woods underneath the full silverly moon. His icy-blue eyes spot a pair of glowing yellow eyes.
Instantly, he knew.
Damon turned around and ran.
A wolf immediately chases after him and leapt high and long until close to the vampire's feet. Damon barely dodges but turns a sharp corner around the trees. However, his foot got caught in an uplifted root and fell forward onto his chest harshly.
Damon groans in pain. Before he could push himself up from the ground, the wolf jumped onto his back. "Shit!" the older Salvatore rolled around and somehow grabbed the wolf's scruff. He pulls the wolf's dangerous fangs away from his face.
The vampire and the werewolf are pulling and pushing as growling and snarling are heard loudly in the silent dark woods.
Suddenly, the wolf was grabbed and pulled away violently. Damon flinch back with wide eyes in dumbfounded when he saw a tall figure with a hood, holding the wolf's body with arms around. The werewolf struggle wildly yet the man held onto it.
Damon blinked and they were already gone.
And he just knew that man was a soldier vampire.
The older Salvatore slowly sat up as the adrenaline rush slowly fades away. He shifted his gaze down at his arm, and pulled up his sleeve to reveal a werewolf's bite on his forearm. "…fuck."

Harper threw the wolf into the cellar and vamp-speed out. He instantly shut the gate door and locked it with chains. He steps away calmly while the wolf throws himself against the door of the bar while aggressively snarling and growling.
The soldier vampire pulled the hood back to reveal his vampiric face and released a hostile snarled back at the werewolf.
Harper will make sure that a Lockwood werewolf stays inside the cellar. After all, his Lady wants him to make sure the werewolf won't harm innocent people.
It's going to be a very long night for the soldier vampire but, he won't fail Emmanuella's descendant.

Later…
The prince Original groans loudly as he slowly opens his eyes. I hate this so bloody much. Kol mused, really loathing with the whole black-out bollocks shit.
He blinked, clearing the black dots and blurry vision. Once his dark eyes clear as he immediately recognized the ceiling of his vampire's bedroom. Kol sat up as he scanned around until landed on a sad and troubled Caroline. "Sweetheart…" the transparent Original pushed himself off the ground.
Kol ambled his way to Caroline who is sitting on the edge of the bed with a distressed face. He extends his fingertips; feather-like touches on her cheek. He watches his vampire jerk her head up as she shivers from his icy-cold touch. "Kol?"
"Yes, darling. I'm here." he noticed how relieved the blonde-haired beauty clearly displayed. Did he miss something during his "black-out" moment?
Caroline closed her eyes. "Kol… I've called you for ten minutes… you didn't respond to me at all." The prince Original grimaced with slight guilty. "What—" Caroline furrowed her eyebrows with puzzled as she stopped herself.
Slowly, she opens her eyes to reveal full questioning in her blue-green orbs. "It's not the first time it happened. When Harper took me away from that night, the Grill where Dr. Martin was on a rampage… I didn't get any acknowledgment of your presence… I waited for you and now this time? I just—" she paused for a hesitant moment then whispered. "What's going on with you?" she wondered what is happening to her ghost friend.
Kol knew he can't keep his secret about his soul bound to hers. He has to tell her the truth. The prince Original just hopes the truth won't ruin their bond.
