Forbes' Residence
Caroline's Bedroom
Later…

The transparent Original runs his long fingers through his messy hair with tense shoulders. It had been a very long night for him. Kol despises feeling useless for his darling vampire. He can't help her whenever she is in pain and danger. It's always someone else who comforts and takes care of Caroline. He wishes he could take her into his arms, embrace her from danger and agony and cherish her as she is a priceless treasure.

And to witness how Caroline nearly fade from the amount of magic energy that was taken from her all because of that untrained little Bennett witch! Kol gritted his teeth while running through his hair all messily, fed up with how inexpert witch is. I need to find a way to teach Bennett how to become a proper witch. He mused, knowing that if Bonnie Bennett continue to act this way for who knows long…

The little witch could unintentionally kill Caroline.

Kol's chest rumbles with a growl at the thought of his beautiful vampire death.

He refuses to let that happen.

He dragged his dark gaze over to Caroline who was sitting on her bed in her pajamas—a grey tank top and pale-blue yoga pants. The blonde-haired beauty carefully traces the talisman bracelet with a contemplative glint in her blue-green orbs. A puzzling frown was displayed on her face. Caroline knew that a Sáõ is basically made of magic itself. To think that it causes so much agony to take her magic energy…

Caroline doesn't want to go through that awful experience. One time is enough for her. She slightly flinches in surprise when she feels the icy-chill cold touch on her cheek. "Kol…" she muttered her ghost friend, curious.

"Darling. Alphabet." Kol repeated a few times enough for Caroline to understand.

The blonde-haired beauty easily slipped out of her bed, to grab the notebook and pen from the desk. She quickly returns to her bed, and opens pages where the alphabet written are. "Alright, got it." She pointed at the first letter of the alphabet.

It took a long while for Kol to want his vampire to write an entire sentence. Eventually, the Prince Original gently touched Caroline's cheek with the back of his finger. Caroline shivers as she leaned back and read the sentence out loud. "Teach Bonnie Bennett how to be a real witch."

Caroline released an astonishing sigh from her lips while idly tapping her pen against her notebook. "That means I'll have to tell her about you, Kol…" she bit her bottom lip, hesitant. "…is that okay?" she asked, shyly as she doesn't want to betray his trust.

Kol's eyes soften with fondness and affection. "Yes, my darling. Tell her as long as she promises to keep our secret." He said, watching his beautiful thoughtful vampire.

"Alright. I'll tell her as soon as possible." Caroline grabbed her cell phone from the nightstand and send a message to her witch best friend.

Gilbert's Residence
Jeremy's Bedroom
Later…

The young Gilbert is sleeping peacefully on his bed. His chest shifted up and down as the soft breeze came through his open windows, making the curtain dance in the air. Unaware a figure of a shadow gliding into his bedroom.

The shadow paused at the end of the bed, and tilted its head as it is watching the slumbered teenager for a brief moment. Until it turned around, moving forward as it hit the empty plastic bottle.

The silence was disrupted by the sudden noise that Jeremy snapped his eyes open. He instantly turned his body back against his bed. His alert eyes stared at the door for a second and saw a shadow move on his door accompanied by a creaking sound.

"Alaric?" Jeremy called out, softly with a questioning yet tired frown. He sits himself up, pushing toward the end of his bed and his feet touch the ground. "Alaric?" He got up and sauntered sleepily out of his bedroom.

Jeremy went into the corridor while scratching the back of his head lazily. "Alaric?" he called out, once again tired. He paused when he placed his palms on the rail, leaning forward in an attempt to spot the vampire hunter. Unaware a figure is standing behind him from the distance.

The young Gilbert frowned deeply, puzzling at the silent answer. Suddenly, he felt a cold chill down his spine. He whirled his head around cautiously. However, it's empty when he stares at the doorway of his bedroom.

Jeremy silently hummed while deciding to descend the stairs, unnoticed a ghost was following him. Once he reached the first level. He easily found Alaric who was sleeping on the couch. Jeremy wondered if he was just being paranoid. Especially he did die and was brought back to life thanks to his witch girlfriend.

He yawned while sauntering down the path to the kitchen. Mood for cold water to drink. "Jer." A soft feminine voice speaks from behind.

Jeremy paused the open doorway path between the hall and kitchen, turned around and no one was there. A confused frown appeared on his face as he turned his head forward.

An Asian girl stared at Jeremy with a solemn face. "Anna?" Jeremy whispered in shock to see his dead vampire girlfriend who was standing in the kitchen. Then he felt a sudden cold brush behind him, and he jerked his head around with alarm.

"Vicki?" The young Gilbert's eyes widen astonished speechless to see his dead first love.

How is this possible for him to see his two dead girlfriends?

Bennett's Residence
Living-Room
Morning…

Caroline and Kol are both surprised that Bonnie suggested meeting at her house. The blonde-haired beauty recalled that her witch best friend wanted her house to be off-limit from any vampires in Mystic Falls. However, Bonnie decided to make one exception for Caroline.

The blonde-haired beauty couldn't help but feel touched and happy that her witch best friend trusts her that much of a level. Allowing her to walk in and out of Bennett's house anytime she wants to.

Currently, Caroline is sitting on a sofa while waiting for Bonnie who went to receive the object from her bedroom. While Kol is being very nosey and poking through all the things inside the little witch's house, shamelessly.

The transparent Original's eyes spark with interest and curiosity when he stares at the few photos of Bennett women that are attached to the wall. He wondered if all these Bennett women were witches. Kol is truly interested in Bennett Coven's history as they are one of the ancient and powerful witches. He briefly recalled a kind mentor back in his human days. Ayana… he mused, nostalgic fondness. Ayana was his mentor when she taught him magic.

Maybe he can repay her by teaching her descendant how to be a proper witch. He was sure that Ayana would appreciate that. Otherwise, Bonnie Bennett will ruin Bennett's reputation in the Supernatural community.

Can't have that.

"Sorry about that." Kol turned his head when Bonnie's voice speak up as she strode into the living room with a metal box in her hands. "I had to get this from my secret spot." she informed Caroline.

The blonde-haired beauty's eyes lit up with surprise. "Seriously? That must be very important." She turned side-way when Bonnie sat next to her. Kol ambled his way toward the sofa, and leaned against the arm near his vampire.

"It is…" Bonnie carefully placed the tin box on her lap. "…I got this… from Elijah." Caroline and Kol leaned forward with eagerness and interest. "At first, I thought about keeping this hidden since he wants this to be secret between us."

Kol raises his eyebrow at this. "Are we talking about the same Elijah? My boring ass brother who is obsessed with suits?" he muttered, with incredulity.

The blonde-haired beauty tilted her head, perplexed. "Then you shouldn't tell me." She doesn't want her witch best friend to betray the trust of the Noble Original.

Bonnie bit her lip, contemplatively. "They are… a gift. And I…" she hesitant. The tiny witch wants to tell Caroline but, the vampire was right. Bonnie doesn't want to betray the Noble Original's trust in her.

"How about this—" Caroline gently placed her hands on Bonnie's hands. "—ask him if it's okay with you telling me this. That way, there are no betrayal and drama involved." She suggests, helpfully.

"That's wise. 'Lijah would appreciate that." Kol mumbled, knowing that his brother will be greatly pleased that Bonnie doesn't want to damage their trust in each other.

The Bennett witch's shoulders slumped with disappointment. "I wish, but he got this package delivered by a mailman just in case he was daggered." She voiced out with a frown on her face.

"Oh." Caroline blinked while Kol cursed under his breath.

"Of fucking course! That bloody paranoid bastard brother of mine just had to daggered Elijah!" The Prince Original threw his hands up with frustrated growls.

The blonde-haired beauty's face fell with unhappiness at the news. 'So, this means I can't help Kol yet…' she was so looking forward to finally stepping into a plan to free her ghost friend from a curse. "Well… that sucks." She blunted, which made Kol turn his gaze to her fondly yet understandingly.

Bonnie nodded her head. "Yeah… it does." She would never think that she actually missed texting a certain Original. She enjoys having communicated with him through texting and even made a couple of calls. Elijah Mikaelson knew how to engage in a conversation.

"Oh well—" Caroline clasped her hands together with a bright smile that appeared on her face. "—I'm sure someday we'll see him again." "It better be soon." Kol grumbled as Caroline continues. "—Right now, I'm here to tell you something."

The petite witch blinked at her while hugging the tin box close to her stomach. "What is it?" she questioned, curious.

"…you brought Jeremy back from the dead, right?" Bonnie raised at her perplexed but nodded her head in response. "…did you know that when you use your magic… you also took my magic energy?"

Bonnie's eyes widen in horror. "What?!" she jerked her torso forward while scanning her gaze on her best friend's appearance. "Are you okay?!"

Caroline blinked at her. "You didn't know?" Kol sighs heavily. This is why is very dangerous for Bonnie to do magic without proper training.

He wouldn't be surprised if Bonnie Bennett die by doing the overwhelming and powerful spell.

"No, no I didn't know. Oh my God! I'm so sorry Care!" the petite witch apologizes to her vampire best friend, knowing that spell she did last night was very dangerous.

The blonde-haired beauty smiles softly at her. "It's okay. I'm fine. See?" she did jazz hands that made Bonnie chuckle weakly while Kol pokes her cheek playfully. "But… I would really like to not have that experience repeat." Caroline told Bonnie what happened to her last night when Bonnie did the spell.

"I am so sorry, Caroline… I didn't realize I was absorbing your life energy…" Bonnie feels like a shitty best friend. She couldn't believe that she caused sweet and thoughtful Caroline so much agony.

Caroline grabbed Bonnie's hand, making their talisman bracelets shimmer as they are very close to each other. "Bon-bon… there is a reason why I'm here because of that." Bonnie tilted her head with curiosity. "My… friend wants to help you."

"What friend?" There is a cautious and suspicious spark in her olive-green eyes while eyeing Caroline.

The blonde-haired beauty tries to figure out how to explain this but decided to be straightforward. "I have a curse Original ghost who is stuck with me." The transparent Original snorted humorously with a sharp grin while shaking his head affectionately.

Bonnie stared at Caroline blankly.

Caroline has a big shit-eating grin on her face.

Silence in the living room.

Kol is enjoying this with amusement dancing in his dark eyes.

Finally, a voice speaks up. "Excuse me?" Bonnie deadpan flatly.

"Get ready Bonnie, because this is a crazy and insane long story." The blonde-haired beauty warned her playfully yet there was a hint of seriousness in her eyes.

Kol huffed out, humorlessly. "You got that right, darling."
