Author's Note: So, about Neuvillette's dragon design,I guess he doesn't have any legs whatsoever. He is just a sea serpent, just like his constellation. So just see him in that version instead of the one I described in my previous chapters. Colors are still the same. I may or may not rewrite those chapters, unsure at the moment.
Chapter 5
Aether and Paimon arrived at Poisson. They found Navia talking to her brand new assistants.
"Hey Navia!" Paimon greeted her.
"Paimon! Traveler! Wonderful to see you here. Is there anything I can do for you?" Navia asked.
"Yeah um... we have a bit of a situation." Paimon said.
She and Aether explained everything to Navia.
"What? Monsieur Neuvillette is the Hydro Dragon Sovereign?!" Navia said, shocked.
"Yep. He's the reincarnation of the previous Hydro dragon." Paimon confirmed.
"So, all this time, Monsieur Neuvillette is the Hydro dragon judging all of us." Navia said.
"Yep. His powers returned back to him and now they transformed him into a huge water dragon." Paimon explained.
"Hydro Dragon, Hydro Dragon, don't cry..." Navia said softly. "So you're telling me that it was Monsieur Neuvillette who was crying after every trial?"
"Yep." Paimon said.
"I had no idea." Navia said. "Where is it he now?"
"In the ocean. He probably didn't want to scare the people of Fontaine after what happened." Paimon said, referring to the prophecy.
"So, you want me to hide him here in Poisson?" Navia asked.
"Just until we figure out how to help Neuvillette transform back." Paimon said.
"May I see him? I'd like to see the size of him to tell if he will be able to fit inside Poisson." Navia said.
"Of course! Just follow us!" Paimon said.
Aether, Paimon, and Navia rushed towards the edge of the shore.
"Neuvillette! Neuvillette!" Paimon called out.
Neuvillette burst from the sea once again, letting out a mighty roar. Navia looked up in awe.
"Incredible!" she said.
Neuvillette slowly approached the three. Navia reached out her hands towards Neuvillette. She gently placed her hands on his snout. Neuvillette closed his eyes, feeling her small, tiny hand on his scales.
"Monsieur Neuvillette, I apologize for everything I said towards you. I didn't realize you were going through a burden of your own." Navia said.
Neuvillette moved away from Navia and out of nowhere his voice spoke out "You are forgiven, Miss Navia."
"Oh! He spoke!" Paimon said, shocked.
"I should be the one to apologize. I should've been more gentle towards you. As a dragon living amongst humans, it is hard for me to express my true emotions." Neuvillette explained.
"I see." Navia said. "Well, I heard that you need a place to hide. Let me see if Poisson is big enough for you."
Navia examined Poisson outside and inside.
"Seems you might be able to fit inside. Are you able to make yourself any smaller?" she asked Neuvillette.
"I will see what I can do." Neuvillette said.
In a bright blue light that surrounded Neuvillette, he made himself much smaller but still quite big.
"Wow. I didn't know he could do that. I wonder what other powers Neuvillette has besides water?" Paimon asked.
"Think you will be able to make the jump?" Navia asked.
Neuvillette dove back into the water and then jumped out of the water, making a massive leap into Poisson.
"Well, now that Neuvillette is settled in Poisson, we should probably tell Furina." Paimon said to Aether.
"Furina? How come?" Aether asked.
"You've seen how close Furina is to Neuvillette. She should know about what's going on with him." Paimon said.
"True." Aether agreed.
"While you two go see Miss Furina, I'll make sure Monsieur Neuvillette is comfortable in Poisson." Navia said.
"Alright." Thanks Navia." Paimon said.
Navia chuckled. "It was my pleasure."
