—"AAAAAAAAAGH FUCK" I screamed.
You know, the feeling after falling 20 meters down was not the best. In fact, it fucking hurt, not only my legs, but my whole body was in agony. That's the price for breaking the first minecraft rule after all...
Quickly pulling myself up from the floor I looked around. I have fallen into a cave of moderate size with the lava lake at the end of it. But that was half the issue. There. Were. Mobs. Well, you see, it wouldn't have been much of problem, but this modpack makes mob spawn with armour. And that armour is no joke. Even from here I can see a skeleton in nanosuit chestplate. So the best thing I can do now is block myself and make a weapon.
Placing all the stations I start to craft again. Right now I need a sword so I make guard and blade patterns. Then I craft a stone hammer from 2 cobblestone and 2 sticks. Using it I crush some more cobble into gravel. Then I convert 3 gravel to 1 flint and make a blade out of it, following is stone guard and a wooden rod. This'll go for a decent sword to deal with the mobs.
Braving myself up I break only 2 blocks necessary for me to exit. I step out and squint my eyes, starting to count mobs. 6 skeletons, 3 spiders, 8 zombies, 4 creepers and 1 enderman. Oh.
—"Oh no. Oh no no NO NO NO!" - I looked into his eyes and it immediatly started running toward me. Half way to me, he teleported behind me so I swing my sword as I turn around. I hit it's arm as it's about to reach me and I start staring right in it's purple glowing eyes. It freezes solid in place. A 3 meter tall skinny figure stares back at me. Thankfully it's still as blocky as in minecraft so I wasn't shitting brick right now.
We stand like this for a minute before it loses interest in me, turning away. A grave mistake. I jump and slash it's head as I fall down hitting a crit. I spam 'LMB' making my arm swing like crazy. This way of combat does not require directly touching my enemy but also less efficient(if I spam that is). Shortly after it teleports away with less than a quarter of hp left.
While it's away I build 3 blocks tall tower and start placing blocks right over my head so that it wouldn't reach me and get me by a surprise.
Shortly after it appears right in front of me, quickly running forward. When it's about to reach me it smashes it's head right into blocks and just stands there. I'm glad to see that minecraft logic still applies so I take advantage of it and finish the enderman.
It dropped an ender pearl which is nice. Time to advance.
I take creepers as my priority because I'll need gunpowder very soon and I absolutly can't let that go to waste. Sadly, they are in the middle of the horde so I carefully approach it.
3 zombies and 1 skeleton notice me so I run back to my makeshift hideout with them on my trail.
As I'm running back to it in criss-cross pattern few arrows breeze by. By the time I reach my hideout I notice that an arrow struck the zombie and it's now heading for the skeleton.
I take this opportunity and rush forward. Using space and not spamming but hitting LMB in timing I fend off the zombies. It is much harder than it used to be in modpack. Their armor quallity is far higher than it used to be with me only doing 2 damage, but maybe I'm just too weak.
Still they don't pose much threat as they barely reach my walking speed and their range of attacks is also sloppy so I just keep a distance away and circle around. As I was about to finish the second zombie an arrow strikes me in the head.
—"AW YOU FUCKING BASTARD!" - I shout in frustration, the arrow itself didn't do much damage to me or my brain because apparently it doesn't matter what injury I have as long as I have hp I won't be dead or hindered by it but I will still feel pain. Awful agonising pain. Well, whatever, I close distance with the skeleton, also taking care of him the same way though his armour made the process a lot longer.
In total I got 4 rotten flesh, 2 bones and 1 arrow. Continuing with my plan I pick mobs by small groups and kill them without any problems. The creepers were a bit of nuisance because I had to prioritise them which resulted in a few more arrows up my ass but I had apples so health was not a problem.
Sitting down I go over my loot:
5 strings
3 gunpowder
12 rotten flesh
7 bones
5 arrows
1 ender pearl
1 spider eye
1 almost broken bow
1 iron ingot(oooh shiny)
Time to EXPAND
