The Carousel Murders

Chapter Three

Doctor Jimmy Palmer had called first into Director's Leon Vance office before the rest of the NCIS team arrived.

Doctor Palmer had been out with Special Agent Jessica Knight for a late dinner. Exhausted...He came out of the elevator towards the director's office.

Low lights were being covered in the hallway since it was late evening. Most of the overnight shifts were working on different cases. He exhaled briefly as he wiped his brow with a white napkin that was given to him.

All of a sudden he had gotten a text message from an old friend from Alaska. Jimmy didn't have the time to answer it back. But the text message did say that his friend Leroy Jethro Gibbs would be arriving at the airport in four hours.

"Thank god!" he expelled with his breath knowing that Gibbs would be back in Washington, D.C. after two-plus years. He walked into the outer office with Vance's secretary to be home. Knocking on the front door first. Jimmy will hear the director come inside with open the door.

Inside the Bar & Grill, our killer was having a ball for the evening. He was able to shell out a $100.00 bill for drinks and those around him.

He had been drinking shots and Budweisers along with a basket of chicken and fries. He asked the bartender for another Budweiser. Even though the Bartender Williams thought that he had reached his limit.

Nevertheless, Williams will give it to him with a young woman in her late twenties to show up at his side.

"HI!" she tells him with a bright smile even though she is tired from her job at Blacknight Publishing in Coney Island. She was wearing a black sweater with her black hair up in a bun. While wearing a red long skirt below the knees with sandals. She had removed her heels and left them at work and the locker near her office.
