Episode 3: Characters in the Wrong World
Meanwhile in Mario's world, Luigi, Yoshi, Wario, and Waluigi have arrived at Bowser's Castle. They are scaling up a rocky cliff until they could see the castle. Waluigi is the last one to make it to the top, feeling exhausted from all the climbing.
"Please tell me we're already there." He says as he is panting and sweating. "Don't you dare be tired already." Says Wario. "We have to face off against that big turtle." Luigi is looking at the castle and comes up with a plan to get in. He then takes out a feather and gives it to Yoshi, who then sprouts wings on his back. "Alright could you fly all of us into there?" Asks Luigi. Yoshi is not used to flying with more than one people. "I'll try." He says.
He flies towards the castle with Luigi on his back and carrying Wario with Waluigi grabbing ahold of his legs. By the time they reach it, all the weight causes the green dinosaur to fall. The four friends all land at a window. All except for Waluigi manage to land inside it, the latter of whom is dangling on the castle wall. "Hang in there!" Calls out Luigi. Yoshi then extends his tongue towards the purple lad, and caught him in his mouth.
After getting back in, he spits him out. "Thanks." Says Waluigi as he wipes the saliva off of him. The four then proceed to find Bowser and Peach. They then come across a chamber where Bowser's throne is. And next to it is Peach locked up in a cage. The Koopa King is just sitting while his Koopa Kids are sitting at a round table playing cards.
The four friends quietly discuss on how they'll ambush the bad guys and save the princess. Luigi could see the device Bowser used to banish Mario into another dimension on the throne arm. Suddenly the green plumber slips and falls off the ledge and into the chamber below. He lands on top of the round table with a thud, breaking it in the process. The Koopa Kids are surprised. Bowser gets up and says, "What?! You again!" "Luigi!" Gasps Peach. He then looks up and sees the rest of the friends.
"Get them!" Shouts the Koopa King. The Koopalings and other minions start to attack Mario's friends. While Yoshi, Wario, and Waluigi hold off the goons, Luigi rushes over to help Peach. "Don't worry!" He says, "I'm going to get you out of here." But Bowser rushes over and attacks him, knocking him away from the cage. He gets up and prepares to fight. He exchanges punches and kicks with the Koopa King. A Koopa tries to punch Luigi, but he jumps on him and then grabs his shell and throws it at Bowser, knocking him to the ground. "I don't have time for this!" Says Luigi, "I want my brother back!"
Bowser responds by grabbing his device. Then he grabs Luigi. "Fine! Then why don't you go join him!" He throws Luigi and then creates the portal again. Luigi, Yoshi, Wario, and Waluigi all get pulled in. After the portal closed, Peach says, "NO!" "That's right." Says Bowser, "Now there'll be no one to save you!" He laughs as he sits on his throne.
Luigi, Yoshi, Wario, and Waluigi are all being transported into New York and landed in a pile. It is nighttime and the four all got up to see what the place is. "Where are we?" Asks Yoshi. Luigi takes a look around and says, "The same place where Mario got banished to." "This place looks so big." Says Yoshi, "He can be anywhere." "I say we split up and look for him." Says Luigi. "Good idea." Says Wario. "Now let's get going." The four friends split up to search the city. Luigi goes in one direction, Yoshi goes in another, and Wario and Waluigi go together in another.
The two stroll down the sidewalk looking for their friend. They soon enter an alley and came to a dead end. "Rats!" Exclaims Wario, "Where can that loser be?" "I don't like it here." Says Waluigi. "It's dark and creepy." "Well get use to it." Says Wario, "We'll be here for a while until we find Mario." The two continued to look around, including inside of the trashcans.
Unknown to them, a dark figure is watching them from atop the roof. As Waluigi turns his head, the figure disappears. "What was that?" He asks. "What?" Asks Wario. "I think something or someone is spying on us." Says Waluigi. "Stop fooling around and keeping looking you idiot!" Snaps Wario. Waluigi lifts up a stack of abandoned newspapers and checks underneath it, but it's vacant. Suddenly something creeps up from behind him. He turns around to see what it is.
Soon Wario hears his partner scream and immediately turns to see what is going on. He could see that he is gone. "Waluigi!" He says, "Where are you?!" He looks around until he hears him muffling. He looks up and sees him tied up and gagged in black web. "What happened to you?" He asks. "How did you get like that?" At that moment, he hears something behind him. He turns and sees a black creature with sharp teeth, a slithering tongue, and a white spider symbol on his chest. Wario panics as he backs away from it. "What are you?" He asks. "We are Venom." Says the creature. "And we are poison!" He grabs Wario and throws him at the wall. Venom then approaches him and says, "You are in danger now fatty." Wario responds with a kick with both of his feet. He gets up and says, "Come on slimy!" He says, "I can take you!" Venom didn't like being called that, so he charged at him. Wario jumps over him. But Venom webs him and slams him to the ground.
Then he grabs him by the head and slams him at the wall before throwing him to the ground again. "You think you're strong?" Asks Wario, "Try this!" And with that, he punches the creature with his fists and sends him to the ground. Waluigi watches the fight as he tries to free himself from the web, but to no avail. Venom angrily recovers and heads back to fight Wario. The two exchange punches and kicks. Venom even tries to bite him, but the latter manages to dodge the sharp teeth. When the creature tries to deliver a flying kick, the yellow plumber opens his jaws wide and takes a huge bite at his leg. Venom screams in pain while Wario tries to help Waluigi. After doing so, the two prepare to face the black alien. "You two may be strong!" He says, "But this isn't over! It's only the beginning. I'll be back to take you two down!" And with that, he web slings away. After he is out of sight, Wario says, "Come on! Let's get out of here!" And with that, the yellow and purple plumbers leave the alley.
Meanwhile Yoshi opens a manhole and enters the sewers. He looks around and could see smelly waste. "Ugh!" He exclaims, "It stinks around here!" He start to search for Mario. "Mario!" He calls out. "Where are you?!" He walks down the pathway while looking around. In the sewer water, a creature is spying on him from behind. As Yoshi continues down the path, it swims slowly and quietly towards him. He turns around and looks around. "Mario?" He asks. But there was no one there. So he turned and continued down the path.
Just then the creature emerges from the sewer water and approaches him from behind. It is a large green reptile creature with sharp teeth and claws. Yoshi is feeling scared at how hideous it is. "Wow!" He says, "You sort of look like me." He backs up as the creature moves forward towards him. "Listen, says the frightened dino, "Have you happened to see a dude about this tall, has a mustache, and wearing a red cap?" The creature responds by roaring at him. The dinosaur runs in fear as it chases after him. After running, he comes across a dead end. "Alright." He says as he turns to face the creature. "You wanna fight? Fine! I can take you!"
He lays some eggs and throws them at it's face, covering him with omelet. After wiping them off, it swings it's tail and knocks Yoshi off his feet. It then approaches him. "Lights out reptile." But before it can strike him again, he rolls over and dodges it. As he runs off, the creature says, "No one escapes the Lizard!" Yoshi turns around and runs towards him. "I wasn't escaping." He says before jumping and fluttering in the air. He knocks out the Lizard with both of his feet. After that, the green dino leaves. But soon the Lizard gets up and charges after him.
Frightened, Yoshi runs and makes it through a drainage filter. But the Lizard ends up getting stuck in it. Upon seeing this, Yoshi says, "See ya. Wouldn't want to be ya." Before turning to leave the sewers.
