Spider-Man: LOUD Season 2 Chapter 7
"A New Challenger Approaches"
Fists slam onto a desk, "GODDAMMIT!" He shouts. He quickly slides his hands across the dest, knocking everything off.
"Mr. Osborn?" Dr. Stromm addressed from the door of his boss's office.
Norman lifts his hands from the desk, placing one of them on his hip, and the other on his eyebrows in frustration, "What is it Stromm?"
Dr. Stromm walked forward, placing a file on Norman's now empty desk, "I've retrieved the file you requested."
Norman looks over to his desk, "Is there any reason you asked for this file in particular?" Stromm asked.
Norman picked up the file, opening it, flipping through files inside of it, "I just need to confirm something with myself."
"But why that file? There shouldn't be anything important in there. It hasn't even been opened in almost 17 years." Stromm stated.
"You don't have the clearance for that information." Norman replied as he continued to flip through the files.
"I understand, I'll be going now, if you don't need anything more from me." Stromm turned around, walking out the door, closing it behind him.
Norman walked down a hallway, stopping at a mechanical door, placing his hand against the handprint scanner, the door opened.
Walking into the dark room, the door closed behind him. He walked past several tables and shelves filled with science equipment. He stopped in front of a freezer, opening it he revealed a singular vial of green liquid.
He grabbed it and shut the freezer door, sitting down in an office chair on the opposite side of the room, taking off his suit jacket and button up shirt, his muscular chest and arms being bare.
"40,000 years of human evolution, and we've only tapped the vastness of our potential." He stated, looking at the green vial labeled "Globulin Green."
Flicking the end of the needle attached to the vial, he placed it to his upper bicep, before piercing himself with it, injecting all the fluid into his body.
He stood up and set the now empty vial in an empty sink, putting on his white button up shirt he feels a sharp pain in his chest.
Groaning, he clutches his chest, the pain so immense that it brings him to his knees.
He groans more, sweat beginning to fall from his body, he manages to stand up, making his way out of the room, and down the hall further, to another testing room, this one however having weaponry and armor that was still in beta testing.
An armored suit colored green for more tactical camouflage being displayed in the center of the room.
Lincoln stood in the gym, wearing proper athletic gear, consisting of red basketball shorts, and a loose white t-shirt.
He stood there cracking his knuckles, before spotting a familiar face, "Oh, hey Clyde!" He waved his hand, trying to get his friends' attention.
His best friend turned his head, spotting the white haired teen and walking up to him, "What's up buddy?"
"So, things might be a little different at lunch today." He starts, "I've invited someone new to join us today."
Clyde's eyebrow raised, "Who is it?" He asks, "Not that I'm opposed to the idea of someone new joining in, mind you." He added.
"Well, it's this girl named Max." He said, closing the distance between him and his friend a little, lowering his voice to a hush, "I caught Chandler picking on her, and thought she could use a friend."
Clyde smiled at his friend's words, "Oh Lincoln, always looking out for others, I never expect anything different from you."
Lincoln chuckles and looks away, a smirk growing on his face, "I still need to tell everyone else though."
"Speaking of," Clyde said, "Where is everyone else? We're about to start."
Stella stood in front of her gym locker, taking off her shirt, revealing a plain black bra cupping her larger than average breasts.
"Woah Stella…" A voice from beside her says.
Turning to see the source of the voice, she finds the most recent addition to the school, Cristina, wearing only a dark blue bra and dark blue panties, staring at her.
"What's up Cristina?" She asks, cocking her head to the side.
"You got a nice stomach there, looks pretty solid, you been working out your core?" The redhead asked, putting her hands behind her back and facing the taller girl fully.
Stella blushed, "Oh, um…I've taken up kickboxing recently." She says, averting her eyes.
Cristina gains a quizzical look on her face, "Kickboxing? What for? Scared you'll get jumped or something?"
"N-no, it's not that. I just…" Stella looked down, a more somber look on her face, "I was at Gus' Games and Grub when those men arrived, if not for Spider-Man…I wouldn't be here right now."
Cristina, gains a more serious expression, waiting for her to continue.
"I felt so helpless…so I asked my parents if I could take up kickboxing, so that if something like that ever happens again, at the very least I'll know what to do." Stella finished.
"I heard about that. I wasn't in town when it happened, but we were in the process of packing up our things when it happened, so naturally I heard about it through word of mouth. I couldn't imagine being in a situation like that, it must've been so scary…" Cristina responded.
Stella faces the redhead again, a small smile appearing on her face, "It was, but I'm stronger now because of it."
"Damn right." Cristina responded.
The two girls then finished getting changed, swapping out their regular bras for sports bras for a more comfortable experience.
Nearby Jordan shut her locker, having heard everything the two said, "I never knew Spider-Man personally saved Stella…" She thought to herself.
She sighs, "Maybe he's not as awful as I thought he was…but I still think he's no good." The young girl thought.
Putting on a tight white tank top to cover up her dark red sports bra, she begins to head out of the locker room.
"Anybody know what we're doing today?" Lincoln asked, stretching slightly.
"I heard we was doin' cardio training." Liam replied.
"I guess I should fit cardio into my workouts, after all how am I gonna impress all the ladies if I only have strong arms?" Rusty boasted as he puffed out his chest and flexed his arms.
"Shouldn't you also be fitting leg day into your workouts?" An unimpressed Zack replied.
Rusty stopped flexing and looked at the shorter teen, "Ladies don't care about strong legs!" He then started to flex again, but with back turned, "It's the upper body that counts!"
"Some day you're gonna need to ride a golf cart everywhere because your legs can't support your upper body. I'm sure the ladies will be all over you once that happens." The redhead replies dryly once again.
Lincoln chuckled at his friend's playful bickering, before hearing a small groan beside him, looking over to see his new redhead classmate Cristina, wearing a tight white crop top so transparent you can see her black sports bra underneath, and red booty shorts.
"I feel like several school dress code rules are being broken right now." The white haired teen thought to himself.
"Cardio, bleg." Cristina said to herself as she tied up her hair into a ponytail.
"Not a big fan?" Lincoln asked, a small smile on his face.
Cristina chuckled slightly, "What gave it away? The groan or the gross noise?"
Lincoln turned to face the shorter girl fully, "It was a little bit of both to be honest." He said, putting his hand behind his neck.
Cristina finishes putting her hair up and exhales slightly, "Well, if there's anything we can expect from you, it's making lame jokes." She says playfully, a smirk on her face, "And being the hottest guy in the room." She says quieter while walking away, the white haired teen not hearing what she said.
"ALRIGHT, LINE UP MAGGOTS!" The gym teacher shouted from across the gym, her voice echoing.
The students lined up, Lincoln being stuck between, of course, Jordan and Cristina.
"Alright scumbags! Today we're doing cardio!" The teacher shouted once more.
"Does she know how to speak with an inside voice?" Rusty whispered to Stella, leaning over in the process.
"WHAT WAS THAT SPOKES?" She shouted, now in the redhead's face.
Sweat began pouring down the boy's face, "N-nothing ma'am!"
The teacher glared at him, pointing two fingers at her eyes, then rotating them to face Rusty, backing up as she did so.
"YOU GOT 10 MINUTES TO RUN THE WHOLE GYM FIVE TIMES!" She shouted, pulling out a stopwatch, "YOUR TIME STARTS NOW!" She then blows the whistle wrapped around her neck, clicking the button on the side of the stopwatch to start it.
Immediately everyone started running as fast as they could, all except for a certain white haired teen. He could easily smoke everyone, being able to run well past their own eye's perception of movement, but that would also of course come with the problem of having to explain how he moved so fast, which would then boil down to him being superhuman, and then him also being the only superhuman not in jail, hence revealing his identity to everyone.
Lincoln took it easy, running at a speed average of his peers. Although most of his classmates looked as if they were dying, Lincoln was doing completely fine.
The five laps passed with two minutes to spare, most students either collapsing to the ground, or kneeling to catch their breath.
"What in tarnation does it take to get you to break a sweat?" Lincoln's farmer friend asked, panting while resting his upper body on his knees.
Lincoln turned around, facing his friend, "Oh, I just have a good respiratory system, perks of having a fitness crazy sister."
"That makes sense." He breathes out.
"So, you could say that you have good stamina?" Cristina's voice asks from beside him.
Lincoln turns to look at her, her white crop top now even more transparent due to her sweat, "Um…I guess that's one way to put it."
Cristina closes the distance between the two, Lincoln backing up slightly, before hitting the wall behind him, Cristina very close to him, "You wanna test how good of stamina you have?" She asks, her eyes half-lidded, biting her bottom lip.
Lincoln had now finally broken a sweat, "U-um…and how do you suggest I do that?" He asks nervously, his voice cracking slightly.
Cristina gets even closer, her breasts squishing against his chest, "Wanna invite me to your place to find out?"
Lincoln starts blushing madly, "U-um…I don't know…I-I wouldn't mind you coming over…just…um…maybe not for something like that?" The teen stuttered, not completely confident in his answer.
She closed her eyes, "A shame. Well, you still have my phone number. If you ever wanna get crazy, just give me a call." She turns around, walking away, swaying her hips more than normal.
Lincoln exhaled deeply, clutching his chest, his heart beating super fast, "How did no one see that?" He asks himself.
He looks to his left to see Rusty glaring at him, a fiery aura surrounding him, "And I spoke too soon."
Lincoln and his friends sat down at a lunch table, setting their lunch bags on the table, Lincoln looking around the room.
"What are you looking for Lincoln?" Stella asked, opening her blue lunch bag.
"Lincoln invited someone to have lunch with us, I think he's looking for her." Clyde clarified.
"Who'd you invite?" Liam asked.
"A girl named Max." Lincoln said quickly.
"Max?" Stella rubbed her chin for a second, "Was she wearing a hoodie with her hood up?"
"Yeah." Lincoln, looking over to his friend.
"Hmm, I think I have her in my bio class." The girl says.
Lincoln then starts waving his hand in the air, smiling. A few seconds later, Max had arrived, slowly sitting down next to Lincoln.
"Hey Max, how's it going?" The white haired teen asked, also sitting down.
"It's going…good…" She responded carefully and quietly.
"Hi, my name is Clyde, I'm Lincoln's best friend." The teen expressed, extending his hand for a handshake.
The girl slowly took his hand, shaking it slowly and gently, "N-nice to meet you." She replied quietly.
"Lincoln, you didn't tell me that you had a girl coming over here." Rusty said, puffing some breath spray into his mouth, wiggling his eyebrows.
"Rusty if you try anything I'll hang you from a tree." The white haired teen said dryly.
"Duly noted." Rusty said, putting the breath spray back in his pocket, a bead of sweat falling from his forehead.
"Sorry about Rusty, he's a little girl-crazy." Lincoln said to his new friend, "N-not like he's crazy for little girls, no that'd be weird, like he's girl crazy." He stutters out, "In fact now that I think about it there's nothing little about his craze for girls." The teen starts to over explain.
Max giggled slightly at Lincoln's overreaction at an understandable sentence, "I understand Lincoln, no need to over explain." She puts a hand over her mouth to cover her smile.
"Y-yeah, sorry." He says.
"Well, the name's Liam, it's a pleasure to meetcha ma'am." The country boy says.
"Why are you calling her ma'am like she's 30 years old." Rusty says quietly.
Stella jabs a sharp elbow into the boy's arm, "Be nice." She whispers to him.
"Nice to meet you Liam…" Max says quietly.
"My name's Zack, and by any chance, do you believe in the existence of aliens? Or are you one of those sheeple?" The short teen asked, leaning over the table with his last remark.
The girl held a shocked look on her face, not sure how to reply to such a question, before the elbow next to her jabbed her arm lightly, getting her attention, "Ignore him, he can be a little…um…" The white haired teen then drew circles next to his head using his finger.
"I saw that." Zack replied dryly.
The other girl at the table then made a loud cough, "Well, um, I'm Stella, it's very nice to meet you." She says, trying to avert attention from the potential conflict.
"Stella…" Max put her fingers to her chin, "Don't I have biology with you?"
Stella nods, "Yes, yes you do."
"Well, it's nice to know that I'll have a new friendly face in one class." The girl responded, smiling slightly.
After lunch had concluded, everyone once more went their separate ways, Lincoln sitting down in his economics class.
More and more students piled into the room before the bell rang, signifying the start of school block.
"Alright class, settle down." The teacher said as he placed his keys and some documents on his desk.
The class slowly stopped talking, settling down in their seats, "I know you're getting rowdy since the end of the school year is coming up very shortly, but we're still in school and that won't stop us from having school work." The teacher said, picking up a whiteboard marker and beginning to write something down on the board.
"So, I will assign one last project for you before finals in two weeks." He put the marker down, the in depth instructions for the project now written on the board.
"You will be assigned to make a basic idea for a new business. Doesn't matter what the business is, as long as it's school appropriate." He sits at the edge of his desk, "It can be a food business, a tech business, or it could even be a fitness business, I don't care what you come up with."
He stood up once again, "But, there are some ground rules…" he picked up a marker and began to point at some bullets he'd made on the white board, "It has to be realistic, you gotta give me the data, how much you'd need for the startup, how you'd get that money, what kind of company are you? Obviously franchises are out of the question because this is a company that you are thinking of." He listed off a lot of rules for the project, finally coming to the end of the rules list.
"And before I finish up, there is one last thing that I know most of you will hate me for." He places his marker on his desk, "This is a partner project."
As soon as he stated this, groans could be heard from across the room. Lincoln wasn't opposed to the idea of a partner project, but he wasn't exactly for it either. He knew he was, for the most part, pretty well liked throughout his grade, making this part a little easier, but he'd still prefer to work solo. A preference he'd had in almost all facets of life. Especially in superheroing. Sure things would be much smoother with another hero running around, but he could never ensure they'd be a real hero, who'd know if they were faking it? Thankfully he never had to see what would happen with that because for all he knew, he was the only superhero in the world.
"Hear me out!" The teacher started to explain himself, "If this was a solo project this would be too easy, this is an advanced economics class after all. So having to partner up with people makes this project harder, because now both people have to be satisfied. And yes, I will be paying attention to your presentations to see who did a lot of work and who didn't, and will be grading accordingly."
And Lincoln was screwed. Not in the sense that he was gonna coast through this all while letting someone else do it, more so that he would've preferred if he did most of everything, wrote up some flash cards for his partner to read off of, and then get an A. Granted though, his duty as Spider-Man would most likely get in the way of that, so perhaps this was a blessing in disguise?
The teacher brought out a small plastic cup, "I've taken the liberty of printing everyone's names and putting them into this cup, I'm gonna walk around to half of you and let you draw, whoever you get is your partner, and there will be no trading partners or getting a second draw."
So the teacher went around to half the desks in the class, one of which was Lincoln's. Some students cheered for who they ended up with, but most just groaned or were indifferent, but now, it was Lincoln's turn.
He reached into the cup and shuffled around the papers a little before grabbing one, pulling it out he turned the paper around to view the name, the name being none other than Cristina.
"Cristina? I didn't even know she was in this class!" He whispered to himself.
He turned around to the half of the room that didn't get to pick out a piece of paper. Loandbehold was the flirtatious redhead herself, silently staring out the window.
"Oh boy…" He mutters to himself, turning back around.
Minutes later the bell rings, signaling the end of the school day, Lincoln stood up and decided he may as well give Cristina the news.
Walking up to the girl as she was putting her stuff in her bag, she turns to look at him, gaining a smile, "Hey Linky, what brings you over here?"
He stops at her desk, placing a hand on the back of his neck, "Hey Cristina…" He says nervously, "Um…I don't really know how to say this but…"
She nods, waiting for him to continue, "Me and you are partners for this project." He finishes quickly.
Her smile grew wider, "Oh that's great! I was kinda hoping I'd end up with you, you are the only person I know in this class after all."
"I find that hard to believe." The white haired teen responded, moving his hand from his neck back down to his side.
The girl gained a quizzical look, "Why's that?"
"Well, you're just so likable that I find it hard to believe that you know no one in this class but me, and vice versa." He responded.
"Oh?" She leans closer to the teen, her eyes half-lidded and a smile spreading across her face, "You find me really likable?"
He blushes, not even realizing he said that before she mentioned it, "W-well I mean…yeah…you are really cool."
She stood up straight again, playfully punching his arm, "Thanks Linky, you're super cool too."
He chuckled nervously, "Y-yeah, thanks…" He cleared his throat, "So…did you wanna come over today and start working on it?"
The girl put her fingers to her chin, "Hmm, I don't think I've got anything going on today…" She pulls her fingers away from her chin, "I don't see why not." She smiles.
The two teens then departed from the school, walking along the sidewalk, "So, I'm finally coming over to your place huh?" The redhead asks, breaking the tension.
"Yeah, it feels a little weird to me that you're coming to my house though." Lincoln responded.
"Hm? Why?" She asks.
"Well…" He puts his fingers to his chin, "I guess it just kinda feels weird because of our history y'know?" He removes his fingers from his chin, "I really liked you back in 5th grade, and when I learned that you switched classes, it really seemed like you hated me."
The girl blushed slightly, "W-well, that was more of me being embarrassed than hating you."
The boy shrugs, "I guess, but it really didn't feel that way at the time."
"I'm sorry, okay? At least we were in the 5th grade where most people except us would have forgotten about it by now." She says, smirking and looking over to the boy, "What do I have to do to get you to forgive me? Do I have to give you a sloppy wet bl-"
"And that's where I'm cutting that conversation." The white haired teen says, cutting her off.
The two teens made their way to the boys house. Opening the door he let the redhead in.
"So, this is your house huh?" She says, placing her arms behind her back.
"Yup." Lincoln responded, shutting the door behind him.
"So, where are all your sisters?" She asked, turning around.
"Oh, they're all still at school. We get off before them, remember?" He reminded the young girl.
"Ah, I do, I'm just so used to you having them that I guess I just thought they'd be here." She said, rubbing the back of her head nervously.
Lincoln nods in understanding, leading the girl upstairs to his bedroom.
Opening the door and allowing the girl to enter, "Welcome to my bedroom, make yourself comfortable." He says, closing the door behind him.
He turns around, hanging his backpack on a coat hanger on the back of the door. Turning around he sees Cristina, no longer wearing her shirt, and in the process of taking off her skirt, her blue bra and panties being shown to the teen.
Blushing, he covers his eyes and looks away, "W-what are you doing?!" He exclaims
"Hmm? You said 'make yourself comfortable'." She says innocently, "I'm most comfortable when in my underwear."
"I didn't mean THAT comfortable!" He says, looking back at the girl.
She looks down and shrugs, "Suit yourself." She then proceeds to put her clothes back on.
Sitting down the two teens pull out some notebooks and a laptop and begin working on their school project.
Hours passed as the two teens worked on their assignment, after those hours had passed they had a faint idea of what was going on.
"What time is it?" Lincoln asked.
Cristina looks at the bottom of the laptop screen, "About 7:30…" She says tired.
The boy stands up and stretches slightly, "You should probably head home."
She stands up and stretches as well, "Probably."
The white haired teen grabs his jacket and places it on himself, "C'mon, I'll walk you home."
"Such a gentleman." She says teasingly.
They walk out of his bedroom and defend down the stairs, exiting the house.
They walk down the sidewalk in silence, occasionally taking a glance at the other.
"Cristina…" Lincoln started, redhead looking in his direction, "Why do you do that?"
She cocks an eyebrow in confusion, "Do what?"
"The whole, y'know…thing? How you were undressing in my bedroom, and how you keep teasing me and stuff?" He asks nervously.
"Oh, that." She breathes deeply, for A second she has a serious look on her face, before it fades into a seductive smile, "I guess I do because I just really like you Lincy."
Lincoln looks unimpressed, "That doesn't sound like a real reason to me."
"I guess I just really like it when you look at me. And I do mean all of me." She reiterates.
"All of you? But I've…never seen you like that." He says, a blush creeping onto his face.
"An unfortunate fact." She closes her eyes, putting her hands behind her back, stopping, "You still have my phone number, if you wanna see me naked all you have to do is ask."
"Cristina, I'm not gonna do that." He responds.
"Okay, then I'll just send you a pic later." She states.
"Wha? I just said no!" He exclaims.
She walks up to him, patting him on the cheek, "Oh Lincoln, your mouth says no, but your body says yes."
She turns around and walks down the pathway leading to her front door, opening it and then closing it behind her, leaving Lincoln both scared and oddly aroused by the situation.
Across the city, a man was sitting at his computer in an office building. Typing away at an important document, when suddenly a loud explosion was heard.
The explosion rumbled the building and flickered the lights. Getting up from his desk quickly and running over to the large window to see outside, he sees the other side of the building across from the section he was in up in flames.
A man flew out of the fire and smoke on a glider, the man wearing a green armored suit, his face was green and scaly, his ears pointed backward like an elfs, his eyes showed no signs of morality behind them. The man was holding a large cylinder shaped object, flying off.
The next day Lincoln sat up in his bed after hearing his alarm clock go off, this time being careful to press the button gently rather than smash it in.
Getting up from bed he leaves his bedroom, he got up a little later than usual that morning due to it being the weekend. Walking down the hall he goes to the bathroom door, attempting to twist the knob he finds out that the door is locked, sighing in annoyance he walks away for now to try again later.
Inside the bathroom was his little sister Lola Loud, the only thing being present on her body being a pair of pink panties.
Covering her chest with her hands, she looked in the mirror confused at the newly found small lumps on her chest, "This better not ruin my pageant career…" She says downtrodden.
Looking down, she was also confused at why her hips had suddenly gotten wider over the past few weeks.
"Maybe Lana's going through the same thing? We are twins after all." She says to herself.
Getting dressed and leaving the bathroom, she walks over to her shared bedroom with her twin, said twin just getting done feeding her pet tarantulas.
"Hey Lana?" She says in a quiet tone.
The older twin turns around, a smile on her face, "What's up Lols?"
Lola closed the door behind her, making sure no one heard in on their conversation, "Have you been noticing any…weird things going on with your body lately?"
Lana cocks her head to the side, "What kinda weird things?" She asks, raising one eyebrow.
Lola nervously places her hands in front of herself, "Like…is your chest getting all puffy? And also your hips getting wider?"
Lana places a finger to her chin, looking up, "Y'know, now that you mention it, I think they have been getting wider, and my chest has been getting kinda puffy."
"Do you think we're sick? Like…have some kinda disease? Y'know like, how your eyes get all puffy when you get sick, maybe this is an undiscovered disease or something?" The pageant queen begins to hyperventilate, she didn't seem like it, but this kind of stuff genuinely scared her, she was a clean freak, and because of her being clean her whole life, she eventually became a germaphobe and now fears disease and sickness.
Lana placed her hands on Lola's shoulders, "Calm down Lols! We're gonna be fine!"
"How can you be so sure?!" Lola asked, looking her twin in the eyes.
"I think these are normal for girls! Look at mom! She has bigger things on her chest! I think Lynn called them boobs or something?" Lana said, removing her hands from her twins shoulders.
"Really? So…why do we have them? And that still doesn't explain why our hips are getting wider." Lola states, calming down.
Lana shrugs, "I don't know, I think I remember hearing Luna a few years back saying that they're fun to play with, so maybe they're like a stress ball type thing?"
"For something that's supposed to relieve my stress, they sure are the cause of a lot of it." Lola mumbles to herself, "These better not ruin my pageant career, or I'm gonna be super mad."
"We could always ask Lincoln, he's pretty smart." The tomboy suggested.
"That sounds great! He may not know a lot about girls mentally, but he might know a lot about them physically!" Lola said, now excited that she may get answers.
Lincoln passed by the living room, his parents on the couch watching the news.
"This is Katherine Mulligan here with breaking news." The newscaster began.
This caught the teens attention, he stopped in his tracks and looked at the TV, "A local Roxxon facility was invaded last night by an unknown perpetrator."
"Uh oh." Lincoln thought to himself.
"Eyewitnesses say that a man flying on a glider bombed the building and flew in, carrying with him some very important and expensive technology." The woman continued.
"This is bad. I should investigate this as soon as possible." He thinks, he turns around and heads back upstairs only to be greeted by the twins.
"Hi Lincy!" Lola expresses.
"Hi girls." He responds, attempting to get past them, but to no avail.
"We have some questions for you." Lana stated.
"Uh, yeah that's great, not right now though." Lincoln says in a hurried tone, walking past his sisters and straight to his bedroom.
The two twins looked on at their brother who had just ignored them, "What a jerk." The pageant queen expressed.
"Who's a jerk?" A monotone voice came from behind them.
Looking backward to see the origin of the voice, the twins spot their older sister Lucy, and specifically notice a trait of her body that Lincoln did not possess, Lucy, had boobs, and quite impressive ones for her age. Nothing insane, but she was rocking a solid 36 C-Cup.
"Lucy!" The twins exclaimed as they ran up to her.
"W-what?" The goth said in confusion, getting caught off guard.
"Lucy, what are boobs and are they fun to play with?!" Lola asked.
"H-huh?!" Lucy was beyond shocked.
"Yeah, and why are our hips getting so big?!" Lana continued.
"E-excuse me?!" Lucy exclaimed before taking a deep breath, "O-okay…let's go to my room really quick, okay?"
The twins nodded, following the goth into her bedroom, where the door was shut closed behind them.
Spider-Man was swinging through the city, occasionally leaping from lampposts when buildings would get less dense.
"Who would have enough firepower to blow a hole through a building like that?" The masked teen questioned himself.
"Especially a building as tightly secured as Roxxon." He leapt from one building to another, he was making his way to the lower population area of Royal Woods, the area near the woods at the edge of town.
"The news said the man was flying, could it have been Adiran?" He asked himself, before shrugging off the idea, "No, they said he was on a glider, it couldn't have been him."
Finally arriving at his destination, he lands on a short apartment building a few blocks away from the large Roxxon building positioned next to a large river.
"I mean, I know Roxxon is shady and all, but who would just blow a hole through the side of their building like that?" He says, leaning his head on his fist, "I almost went into a full investigation on Roxxon a few months ago, sadly they're so good at covering their tracks that I couldn't really get anything past the obvious, 'they pollute' fact that's widely known."
Leaping into the air and shooting a web toward the building, zipping directly to the hole in the ceiling.
He perches on the edge of the hole, looking into the building at what seems to be a lab of some sort.
Flipping inside he discovers several concealed and covered up machines lining parts of the walls.
"Must be a beta testing room of some sorts." He whispers to himself.
Walking around he spots a metal ring sticking out of the floor with a broken metal bar in the center of it. Walking toward it he kneels down to the ring and examines it.
"Something was ripped off, the bar is jagged and misshapen, someone…or something broke it off." He comments to himself.
"This must be the expensive technology that was stolen. Whoever stole it must be extremely strong, seeing as they ripped the thing out of the ground. At the very least I should be careful if I ever run into them." He stood up and placed his hand to his chin, "Unfortunately that's really all the info I could have on this thing, I don't know what it could've been, but let's hope it isn't some doomsday device."
He looks around a little, "Knowing Roxxon though, who knows."
Hearing a door opening, he jumps through the hole in the ceiling once more, making his exit.
Swinging back through the woods, he talks aloud to himself, "Wish I could've gotten some more information, but it wasn't really possible without some very illegal acts."
Arriving back in the bigger part of the city, he perches on top of a building, "I should just be extra vigilant the next few days. See if anything comes up."
Jumping off the building, he extends his hand to shoot a web and swing off."
"Wake up…" A man's voice echoed.
"Sir, wake up." The voice became clearer.
Slowly but surely, Norman Osborn awoke on his living room couch to his butler.
Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes he looked to the older man, "What is it?"
"You've been sleeping all day sir, and it's well past noon, what have you been doing at night to cause such an irregular sleeping pattern?" He questions his boss.
Norman sits up and thinks for a moment, "I don't remember…"
The butler grows a concerned expression on his face, "Well, I hope this doesn't become normal for you sir." He says, making his leave.
Norman walks to his bathroom, turning on the faucet and splashing water onto his face, breathing heavily.

"What's up?" He asks.
"Lincoln, we know this is a surprise…but…" Rita said before opening the front door to reveal Lincoln's oldest sister Lori standing in the doorway, and her husband Bobby, "Lori and Bobby came to visit!" She finished her sentence.
"Lori?!" The teenager exclaimed in surprise.
To be continued in Season 3…
And with that, Spider-Man: LOUD season 2 comes to a close.
I know this season was shorter than season 1, but that isn't without its reason.
This chapter was originally going to be split up into two parts, but I decided that it would flow better if it fit into one continuous chapter, hence the longevity of it.
And I will apologize for the long period between chapters, the next chapter won't be as long a wait.
Until next time.
