Chapter 3: Fenton, Danny Fenton

"Are you really going to Zoravia, Illinois to meet her?" Sam asked, dismayed that her crush was dating someone else.

"She has a name, Sam." Danny replied.

"She's a foreign Princess, Danny." Sam protested.

"There are no local Princesses for Danny to date since we live in a republic, Sam." Tucker argued.

"You know what I mean, Tucker." Sam replied. "Natasha is probably trying to use Danny and his powers for some secret agenda."

"Totally worth it if he gets to date a Princess." Tucker commented.

"She's a foreign spy." Sam pointed out. "For all we know, her Dad sent her here to steal plans for a space shuttle."

"Sam, our government isn't developing any new space shuttles." Danny argued.

"She's a foreign spy, Danny." Sam said. "How would she know?"

"Sam, you sound like a conspiracy theorist." Tucker commented.

"Tucker, we live in a town that knows ghosts are real, remember?" Sam asked her techno geek friend.

"True but your theory still sounds weird." Tucker said.

"Sam, if the A-Listers hear you saying those things, they'll joke that you're upset I'm dating Natasha instead of you." Danny commented, unknowingly hurting his goth friend's feelings.

"Clueless." Sam muttered.

"I don't care why people keep calling me that, Sam." Danny said. "I care about making it on time for my date."

One ghost flight later, Danny arrived at the address Natasha gave him. 'Such a normal-looking place.' Danny thought. 'Why did I expect a huge sign saying a Princess lived there? She's being secretive about it.' He then touched the door bell and a woman welcomed him.

"Hi." She sweetly said. "You must be Danny Fenton."

"And I presume you're Greg O'Brien's mother." Danny replied.

"Oh, yes." Mrs. O'Brien remembered. "Natasha and Greg said you met my son when you escorted her back to the hotel. Nice to meet you Danny."

"Nice to meet you as well, Mrs. O'Brien." Danny replied. "Is Natasha home?"

"I'm here, Danny!" She exclaimed.

"Boo!" They heard as a boy suddenly showed up, scaring everyone.

"Sorry about that, Danny." Mrs. O'Brien said. "This is my other son." She then turned her attention to said son. "K.C., you shouldn't scare our guests like that."

"Sorry, Danny." K.C. replied. "Next time I'll wear a monster mask."

"K.C.!" Mrs. O'Brien glared at him.

"What?" K.C. asked in confusion. "I can't scare people with a boo scream, I can't scare them with a monster mask. How should I scare people?"

"You shouldn't." Mrs. O'Brien told her son.

"Excuse me, Mrs. O'Brien, we're leaving now." Natasha said.

Natasha then took Danny to a golf field. "Give me luck, Grandpappy." Natasha whispered to King Hector's statue. It seemed to have worked since she did the Hector hole with one less stroke than Danny.

"Does this statue look like the one erected in the Kingdom of Zoravia?" Danny asked out of curiosity.

"It sure is." Another character said.

"Oh, hi, Oleg." Natasha commented. "What a surprise seeing you here. Oleg, this is my boyfriend Danny Fenton. Danny, this is my friend and fellow Zoravian exchange student Oleg Boynski."

"Nice to meet you, Oleg." Danny said.

"I am pleased to meet you as well, Danny Fenton." Oleg replied and Danny, in spite of feeling weirded by Oleg's wording, said nothing about it since Oleg's a foreigner and Danny simply assumed Natasha was better than him at learning English. "Vell, I do not vant to interrupt your date. Goodbye."

"Bye, Oleg." Natasha said.

"Is Oleg also a spy?" Danny asked Natasha after Oleg left.

"I'm neither confirming nor denying it, Danny." Natasha answered and Danny accepted that.

The game eventually ended. It was a narrow victory but Natasha won. "Congratulations, Natasha." Danny said.

"You're not so bad either, Danny." Natasha replied.

"So, what do we do now?" Danny asked.

"Mc Yak Shack?" Natasha asked and Danny agreed.

One snack later, Danny was impressed by the number of yak burgers she ate. "How do you get so much of an appetite?" Danny asked.

"I burn lots of calories with my karate, Danny." Natasha answered and Danny, remembering how she and that other spy fared, understood what she meant by 'karate'.

"Natasha, on the way from the golf field to here, I've seen the Turquoise Palace Water Park." Danny commented. "Does it really resemble the actual Turquoise Palace from your home Kingdom?"

"Yes, Danny." Natasha answered. "Perhaps I could take you there someday."

"Natasha, I know you already met my parents but I'm not sure yours would like me." Danny replied.

Natasha laughed. "I meant the water park, albeit you meeting my parents will likely happen sooner or later."

"Oh."

"I'd take you there now but I didn't bring my swimsuit and I doubt you brought yours since we didn't plan for it." Natasha explained.

"True." Danny said. "Or we could go…" He then felt his ghost sense. "Uh-oh."

"What happened?" Natasha asked out of worry.

"My ghost sense." Danny replied.

"I'll have your pelt on my wall, whelp." Skulker said as he revealed himself.

"Ewwww." Both Danny and Natasha said.

"Even here, Skulker?" Danny asked. "Are you interrupting my date just because I have a real girlfriend and you don't?"

"I have a real girlfriend, whelp!" Skulker angrily replied.

"Does she live in Canada?" Danny teasingly asked.

"SHE! IS! REAL!" Skulker shouted and was suddenly kicked on the face by Natasha. Taking advantage of that distraction and noticing everyone else ran away in fear, Danny went ghost. "Now that's more like it. I like the challenge." Skulker said and shot some missiles at Danny and Natasha.

"I can dodge them." Natasha said and showed it while Danny conjured shields to defend himself.

Skulker was then kicked by Natasha's fellow spy and that, combined with Natasha's previous kick, made the head of Skulker's mecha fall down. Danny then sucked the tiny blob that was the real Skulker into a Fenton Thermos. "So, is his girlfriend also a blob in a mecha?" Natasha asked out of curiosity.

"Natasha, I don't believe he has a real girlfriend." Danny replied and then turned his attention to the other hero. "Thanks, Oleg."

"You are welcome." The spy replied and only then realized how Danny called him. "You told him?" He asked Natasha.

"No, Oleg." Natasha answered. "You just did. I neither confirmed nor denied anything."

"I guessed." Danny commented.

Dejected, Oleg left the area, changed back into his civilian outfit, and returned. "Alright but you'd better keep quiet." Oleg said.

"My lips are sealed, Oleg." Danny replied. "But how many minors did King Carl send to America?"

"We are not answering that." Oleg replied, feeling it's not time to let Danny know his actual age.

"Okay." Danny said, feeling he didn't really want to know about more Zoravian teens spying in American territory.

"So, what were you saying back when Skulker interrupted us?" Natasha asked her boyfriend.

"I was suggesting we could go to Floody Waters for our next date, Natasha." Danny answered and noticed her reaction. "It's a water park in Amity Park."

Natasha thought about it. "Okay. Let's set date and time."

After Danny returned to Amity Park, he told the rest of Team Phantom about his and Natasha's future plans. "Princess Natasha is going to Floody Waters?" Tucker asked with excitement. "Cool! Now I can finally see if she really looks as good in a swimsuit as her poster suggests."

"Tucker, we're talking about my girlfriend and… did you say 'poster'?" Danny asked.

"As part of a way to improve the economy of Zoravia, Princess Natasha sells memorabilia of herself and it includes posters like this one." Tucker then showed his PDA and it displayed a picture of a poster with Natasha in a swim suit.

"A Princess exposing her body like that?" Sam asked.

"It's the 21st century, Sam." Danny replied. "And Tucker, I know Natasha and I never had anything between us back when you bought this but, do you need to stare at the poster like that?"

"Sorry, Danny." Tucker replied.

"Honestly, all of this makes me doubt nobody in Zoravia, Illinois recognizes Natasha and the Crown Princess of the Kingdom of Zoravia." Jazz commented.

"I'm just as surprised as you are, Jazz." Danny told his sister.

"Danny, are you okay with having a girlfriend who exposes her body like that?" Sam asked with a frown.

"Other than being slightly afraid someone that popular would tire of me, yes." Danny answered.

"Enjoy it while it lasts, Danny." Tucker advised his friend. "That's what I'll do when I finally date a cheerleader."

"That means 'never'." Sam commented. "Danny, be careful."

"And bring me an autographed poster." Tucker asked, prompting Sam, Danny and Jazz to glare at him. "What?"

"Anyway, I have to ready myself for the next school day." Danny said.

"That's the spirit, little brother." Jazz replied.

"Did you need to use that word, Jazz?" Danny asked with a glare.

"Sorry about that, little brother." Jazz said.

"But seriously, don't forget to mention the poster." Tucker asked.

The next school day, Danny was opening his locker when Dash Baxter suddenly closed it. "Did you think we'd forget, Jinx Fenton?" Dash asked, still angry at losing the game.

"Still believing in that superstition, Dash?" Danny asked in annoyance.

"If ghosts exist, why can't this superstition be real after all?" Dash asked.

"It still sounds like you want an excuse to pick on me." Danny argued.

"Anyway, I'm still going to stuff you into a locker since I'm a star quarterback." Dash said.

"No, you won't." Mr. Lancer said and neither Danny nor Dash believed it.

"Mr. Lancer, what do you mean?" Dash asked in confusion.

"Mr. Baxter, all of us are upset about losing but that's no excuse to blame it on viewers." Mr. Lancer said. "One day of detention for threatening Mr. Fenton."

"But I'm the star quarterback." Dash pleaded.

"Which only means something when you win, Mr. Baxter." Mr. Lancer replied.

'That explains it all.' Danny thought in dismay.

During lunch time, Danny told his friends the news. "So, Mr. Lancer won't protect Dash when the Ravens lose?" Tucker happily asked and Danny nodded. "Danny, you need to make them lose more often!"

"Tucker, I had nothing to do with their defeat." Danny argued.

"Not this time but you could use your powers to sabotage their equipment or something like that." Tucker suggested.

"Tucker, it's one thing to humiliate Dash, everyone here knows he deserves it." Danny said and Tucker and Sam nodded. "But I won't interfere with football matches like that."

"Basketball, then?" Tucker meekly asked.

"No, Tucker." Danny sternly replied.

"Let's change subjects then." Tucker said. "When will you and Natasha meet at Floody Waters? And did you talk to her about the poster?" Sam punched the techno geek's arm. "Ouch. That hurts."

"Good." Sam replied.

"Natasha and I still haven't decided on a date and no, I didn't talk to her about the poster, Tucker." Danny answered.

"Yeah, Tucker." Sam agreed. "No need to inflate the Princess' ego."

"Natasha's not like that, Sam." Danny replied but then the school's ghost alarm activated. "Ghost Attack! Ghost Attack!" And everyone but Team Phantom ran away. "I'm going ghost!"

Skulker then showed up. "Whelp, I'll hang your pelt on my wall, in royal style." The ghost announced.

"Ewwwww." Danny replied. "Why don't you just give up and try to find a real… why did you say 'royal style'?"

"Because Plasmius told me about the Princess you're dating but don't delude yourself, whelp." Skulker said. "Your girlfriend might be some Princess instead of the goth but I am your royal pain."

"No, Dash's the royal pain, and you won't lay a finger on my girlfriend." Danny was so furious he didn't mind unleashing his Ghostly Wail. Two rings formed around Danny and almost reverted him back to human form but he maintained his ghostly one and sucked what's left of Skulker.

Mr. Lancer then returned. "Pride and Prejudice!" He exclaimed. "Now the rest of today's classes will have to be cancelled!" All students cheered.

"No more detention for me!" Dash happily exclaimed.

"No, Mr. Baxter." Mr. Lancer said. "Your detention's being just postponed." Now Team Phantom and several nerds cheered.

End chapter.

Answer to Leonardo (Guest): Obrigado. Espero que você também tenha tido uma Feliz Páscoa. Não se preocupe. Danny e Natasha não precisam do Lubek para a fanfic ser longa. Quanto à sua maratona, chegou a encontrar algum episódio posterior ao "The Princess and the Pin"?
