Time To Answer The Reviews:

Ken Valbrandur: Yep, Salamangreats are just broken at times, love writing them.

Kari Tsukumo: I do read some, but the one that I always recommend is Tag Force: Heroes and Villains. Pretty good story, PEAK GX fanfiction. But if you want a crossover fic, how about Yugioh 5D's-V? That's a pretty decent story.

Henry66: Thanks.

After the defeat of Ghost Gal, which proved to actually be a very difficult task to do so since her deck was something that hasn't before seen with it being more of a Trap focused deck with it having powerful Link-2 and Synchro monsters on the same field, they finally got a key for SOL Tech's mainframe and thank god they did, because if they didn't, they would fully believe that Seigen would punch his laptop if he sees another firewall.

With this, they can finally see the databank's way and… oh dear. If you are wondering how bad and complicated it looks, you know those labyrinths that some fast food restaurants give the kid and some at the newspaper when you come to your grandparents' home?

Yeah?

Well, just imagine that, but if every single one of those labyrinths combined into one massive cluster of a labyrinth with the ways going all over the place so you could get lost even if you go backwards or if you know it like the back of your head, you still would get lost on your way there which is extremely annoying to get through because you had to backtrack through it.

Hell, it was so bad that Flame had to zoom his eyes extremely closely to see the correct way and so that he didn't lose their way there and he didn't even know where to get through it. How long did it take them to create this behemoth? If it did take 10 years to make, they would 100% believe it because this is unheard off!

They wouldn't wish to give this to their worst enemy, or even worse, Varis. They shuddered when they even thought about that idea since even he doesn't deserve this labyrinth. He would most likely have a mental breakdown looking at this. They wouldn't blame him one bit. Heck, they might even comfort him about this.

It would take weeks, months or if it really goes down to it, a whole year just to track down the correct way, but thanks to Ghost Gal's help, she managed to create a valley and the correct way to the Core and the database which they can't wait to see where it is.

And it would help them learn the past and…that incident. The Lost Incident.

Seigen began to see what was wrong with it because it was too fishy for it to be just a valley out and with no problem with it as he wanted to see if this was going to be easy or hard, knowing their journey right now? It is difficult as hell for them.

Sure he could be studying with his friends, but he honestly didn't need to study the subject since he, unlike his best buddy Theodore over here, he actually listens to the class and teacher and pays attention so he doesn't need to study when he isn't passed out on the table after pulling an all nighter.

The two friends that aren't complete nerds decided to study because they would rather fight SOL Tech and The Knights of Hanoi with a 20 card deck rather than see the disappointed look of their parents/grandparents because they got a bad grade at a single subject… or face Flame's wrath because they aren't studying.

That little boy is terrifying when it comes to their education. Like hell he would allow anyone getting a bad grade at something that would be like if they spat on him if they do get one bad grade.

The Next Day

It was now the next day as Seigen, who smelled like a combination of Monster, Red Bull, hell and any other Energy Drink combined, over the course of the day and the school day, was making progress to see if Ghost Gal didn't try to mess with us as he found out that the entire labyrinth was filled with booby traps which he tried to see if he can manage to make it a clean way for them, which was actually wasn't half bad.

He did however had to look over every single way and every booby trap which did take alot of time to get through it all and not to mention he did see things that he couldn't describe what they were, but he could tell that they were obstacles for them so he had to design a weapon of somesorts.

It was not a massive one, it was around the size of their upper body with a handle and inside of them were bullets that looked like a Sphere Kuriboh which was really cute if he was honest and it wasn't a bad decision, but he only had enough time for him to build in 3 bullets in each of them.

Also, there were things like off boosters that allowed them to go faster which wasn't too fast so they could hit the wall every time, but something that was faster than usual was appreciated. Because if they went with the normal speed, it will take them forever just to get there, or at the very least a week to get there, which they didn't need.

During school time, when he was still trying to figure out the way of getting to the SOL Tech databank, they had to take the test, which to him was a walk in the park while Theodore obviously struggled, but still managed to get through it easily.

Then they had to learn in History one of the most interesting puzzles of all time by the name of Tower of Hanoi and the teacher seemed extremely bored of it. Like he didn't even want to be there, which they didn't blame him for, but is there a single teacher that liked their job here?

But after that snoozefest, school was finally over and they went to Theodore's house because at Kiku's house it was extremely busy and for some reason Seigen never really wanted them to go there, which he always seemed gloomy about.

They sat there, as they needed to do this now or never, to learn about the past of the Lost Incident, of who created it and why it was made because they were vary of Varis and the Knights Of Hanoi, because even now, he could be scheming the most diabolical plan of all time and they couldn't waste any time.

Meanwhile, for no reason at all, an 18 year old boy with white hair was at his home buying 2 hot dogs at a hot dog stand by the name of Cafe Nom with a blue purple haired boy writing something on his laptop.

"Here you go," said the owner of the hot dog truck as he had purple hair and a goatee as he placed his orders on the table, "Two hotdogs with everything."

The white haired boy walked up to the counter with money in his hands and placed it on the counter, "Do they have marshmallows on them?" the boy asked as he grabbed his order.

The owner thought about it as he then looked at the boy, "Uhm, no?"

"Then they technically don't have everything." he said as he began walking away to his house as the owner and the boy looked at him weirdly. What kind of question and answer was that?

Back to our heroes, which they felt like they weren't half right or half wrong there, they shook their heads as they looked at each other as they nodded to each other.

They were going through with this, and they are going to find out the truth. They picked up their duel disks and said, "It's Time To Link To The Vrains." as their duel disks said, "INTO THE VRAINS!" as then they fell unconscious.

Ready to get to the databank.

INTRO!

(A/N: Play Haruka Mirai From Black Clover)

We see six different Ignis flying around the Cyberse, all with their accompanying archetypes, with Flame escaping the Cyberse in the hands of Theodore Hamilton as a second later, his appearance changed that of Soulburner as he began walking slowly with a determined look on his face. As then a Duel Monsters card appeared on the screen which was flipped over to reveal the words, "Bring The Heat, Soulburner!"

Grey words can't make anything happen

We then see Theodore facing backwards to a boy with silver hair and blue eyes, but was 2 years older than him as they both raised their heads, as they turned to Soulburner and Varis as they turned around as Salamangreat Heatleo and Borreload Dragon striked each other at the same time.

I know, yeah I know

Soulburner covered his face from the dust of the explosion as Varis was floating above him as he went flying on his duel board.

Wishing to fly freely across the sky

Soulburner then began to chase him with a duel board of his own with a determined face.

I dreamed it all my life

Once he got close, he somehow managed to dodge an attack from Specter's Sunavalon monsters as the Lieutenants of the Hanoi were along with him.

Step by step I go, though it's a doubtful world! Don't care how much I fall! Instinct is my guide, I never give up!

As soon as they appeared, Frostgirl, Stormrider and the Gore appeared with him to assist him in this match as Soulburner grinned ear to ear as they each faced one of the Knights of Hanoi, with Gore fighting Genome with his Gouki Suprex and Riscorpio as Genome had X-Kralwer Neurogos, Frostgirl having out her Nekroz Of Trishula on the field while Baira had her Dark Mummy Surgical Forceps, Stormrider with his Cerulean Sacred Phoenix Of Nephthys against Faust's Worm Zero as Soulburner passed Specter as his scarf hit the screen as a new transition was made.

To faraway future, I burst out running

We then see Soulburner flying on a duel board as then Stormrider and Frostgirl were near them, both with grins on their faces as Frostgirl winked Soulburner whose face flushed red for some time as then Flame appeared as he began flying with fire on his feet.

Go beyond even the unseen fears

Gore was then seen on a ring with his new Gouki XYZ monster with the kids looking excited with stars in their faces as he left out a dramatic roar for the audience.

The vision I had, so I can be myself

Akira was then seen with a determined face as he held a picture of his younger sister when she was younger as he then gritted his teeth. He looked down as tears went down his face as he remembered their past.

Someday I will write the next page

Ghost Gal then appeared with a saddened face as she saw Akira, as then the man walked towards the data bank of SOL Tech.

You are my hope

He then turned around as he saw Soulburner coming near them.

Like that page from someday

Soulburner then summoned out Salamangreat Miragestellio and Pyro Phoenix as Akira summoned out Tindangle Acute Cerberus as the two monsters clashed.

I was able to meet you

While the battle was commencing, Frostgirl watched the duel with a concerned face, but Stormrider's face wasn't shown as well as tears went down his face.

I call this a miracle.

We then see Kiku and Theodore with their arms opened towards Seigen as Flame was carrying the same motion as he had tears in his eyes as he then smiled as he fell to their embrace. Then a new screen was made as Theodore, Flame, Kiku and Seigen were smiling at the screen with Varis looking at them with his back turned against them with a wicked smile on his face.

BRING THE HEAT, SOULBURNER! - THE KNIGHTS OF HANOI!

(A/N: End Theme.)

Soulburner, Frostgirl, Stormrider and Flame arrived in Link VRAINS, but infrastructure was more of something of a video game based in Ancient Egypt, but it was an impressive place to go around. They were floating in nothing, but air.

"So this is the place where we have to go for the databank?" asked Frostgirl as Stormrider nodded.

"Yep, it took me hours to look over this place and all of the booby traps, but everything is legit and completely safe as long as we don't make any errors," he said as he raised his arm, "Thankfully, after the image has burned into my head for weeks, I know where he have to go like the back of my head."

Soulburner turned to his friend, "Buddy, that is great to hear, but you really have to get a new hobby." he said as he rolled his eyes.

"Couldn't agree more."

"I third that."

"Oh you three shut up." said Stormrider as he shook his head, "Okay, so I have to tell you guys about the propellers I installed for all us so we can go faster than usual, which should be appearing right about…" he stopped as then a machine with a handle that looked like a booster appeared in their hands when he finished that sentence. "Now."

"Woah this is sick!" yelled Soulburner.

Frostgirl turned to Stormrider, "How do we use this exactly?" she asked.

"Oh it is pretty simple, you just grip on the handle and then-" he was cut off as Soulburner went off like a rocket as he went flying.

"WOAH! THIS IS FAST!"

"YOU IDIOT! NOT THAT HARD!" They then saw Soulburner hit a wall as he was stopped like that. They then sighed as they gripped the handle slightly as they went towards him.

Once they did, Stormrider punched him on the head. "OWW! What was that for?!"

Flame turned to his partner, "You went off like a rocket going at super speeds that can't even be calculated and you could've logged off forever, I think his reaction was warranted."

"Thank you, Flame, you said it better than I could ever. I am so glad that at least someone understands me." he felt a glare at the back of his head from Frostgirl. He gulped, "I mean, I am so glad that you also understand my reaction."

She nodded slowly as her glare on him went lighter and lighter. "Good." she said.

After a minute or so, they finally began their journey as they gripped on the handle lightly this time and didn't go off at super speeds. It was going well and slowly as Soulburner tried his hardest not to fly in hyper sonic speeds.

They then went left and then right, as it was like that maze, but then they saw massive green data. They were the same design as that of a diamond as there were blue data inside of them.

"What is that?" asked Frostgirl.

"Oh those are fraggers, they go at anyone that they see and we are logged off permanently, but thanks to some coding they won't home in on us. Trust me, they are harmless unless you touch them." explained Stormrider as they 'ahh'ed. He then looked at Soulburner, "You heard that, don't touch them."

"Why are you looking at me?" asked Soulburner.

"Gee, I dunno, maybe because you are the only one who went at super sonic speeds less than 10 minutes ago!" yelled Stormrider.

"Okay, geez, I am sorry, I was just testing them out!" said Soulburner as they shook their heads at that.

It took them a while to get around the fraggers and it wasn't that difficult. Sure the steering could be fixed in some ways, but overall it wasn't that bad as unless you are 2 meters in front of them, you could honestly dodge them and with their speeds it was easy for them to just look around. Flame did like how they looked like and admired the dedication of how unique they looked from other data.

From what Stormrider said, it appears that in only a few turns, they would be free from the fraggers if they turned into different routes and walls which was fine and they didn't mind that at all.

They turned to the right and after skipping the first 2 routes on the left they then turned to the 3rd left one as they saw massive fraggers behind them closing their route which was alright.

They went forward, skipped a few fraggers in their way which wasn't hard since they went at snail's pace, and only a few routes and they can be free from… wait, was that a purple shine.

"What was that?" asked Flame as then a purple fragger went towards our heroes.

"Ah, crap a purple one?! They just upgraded their security?!" yelled Stormrider as he widened his eyes at that.

"Just our luck." sighed Frostgirl.

"What do we do?!" yelled Soulburner as Stormrider focused his aim at a purple fragger.

"Just watch!" he yelled as then a Sphere Kuriboh was then shot directly towards the purple fragger, destroying it and making a mini explosion.

They looked in awe as Stormrider sighed, "Okay, before we get targeted by more fraggers, I will explain why I added that in every situation. So in order to activate it and shoot the Sphere Kuribohs, you have to," Stormrider then pointed directly towards Soulburner's propeller and a button on them, "click this button and then one of them are going to be used. Okay?"

"Oh, cool, I like this."

"Yeah, I understood it."

"I will keep this in mind." they all said in unison.

Stormrider nodded, "Good, that's what I like to hear, but you two have 3 Sphere Kuribohs each, and I have 2 left in mine, so a total of 8 Sphere Kuriboh, so be careful around your ammo, alright?" he asked as they nodded.

"Good, now lets go." he said as they then went towards where the map located them in moderate speed so they they can react to the purple fraggers which wasn't that hard, but they did use 2 Sphere Kuribohs, which sucked, but hey, they needed to do something.

Now, they were going the route where the map showed them where they have to go for the databank, which wasn't hard for them and it was easier than expected.

They went left, and then after a few minutes right, then right after that, left a few minutes after that, destroying 1 more purple fragger on their way, as they now have 5 Sphere Kuribohs. Bad, but they can work with this.

They then went around the corner where there is just a few more stuff before that and the databank and-

"Oh my various Egyptian Gods." said Stormrider as they saw what appeared to be a whole army made out of purple fraggers coming towards them.

Their eyes widened as they saw that they were coming closer and closer towards them as their heart rates went up, even Flame's.

"HOLY SHI-

Meanwhile in a place where there were no fraggers at all, appeared Akira Zaizen, who again didn't look any different from his regular self, and Ghost Gal in a propeller that she installed for them.

Why did it take them so long to get there you may ask? Well the answer was pretty simple. Akira took another long nap which he honestly deserved.

"So this is the route you found for the SOL Tech Databank?" asked Akira as Ghost Gal nodded.

"Yep, and while it will take us a while to get there, do keep in mind that this is the safest route for the both of us." she said with a smirk that her mask covered.

"Well, that is great to hear. I don't care if it takes me an hour or a year to get there, as long as I found out the truth about 10 years ago, I will be happy to get there." he said.

"Great to hear that, but let's go. We don't want to keep your sister waiting now, do we?" she asked as Akira nodded.

The propellers weren't as strong as Stormrider's, but for all that it is worth, it was something decent in terms of actually working and it was going at decent speeds than usual, not to mention in a safe route like this? They can get comfortable so they don't accidentally make themselves the target so Kitamura could see them.

The problem?

"Sooo… come here often?" asked Ghost Gal with a smirk.

Akira sighed. It will be a long journey.

Back to our heroes, they were panting with scratches all around their faces, sweat coming down to their faces and were panting like crazy. They somehow avoided all of the purple fraggers, but used up all of their Sphere Kuribohs. The fact that managed to survive was an accomplishment.

"That… was…. not worth it… at all." Stormrider said in between breaths.

"Agreed."

"I am never doing that again."

The one that wasn't a human turned to Stormrider, "So, how far are we from the databank in itself?" asked Flame.

"Well, thankfully from what I have seen, it is the end of Area A, and we are getting to Area B which is shorter than Area A, thankfully." said Stormrider as Frostgirl and Soulburner raised their fist in celebration, finally that nightmare was almost over.

After they took a minute to catch their breath, they continued on their journey for the databank as they reached the end of Area A and then they entered Area B, but they noticed that there wasn't anything.

It was empty, but that was a few seconds later…

There was data inside of it, which they noticed immediately, but then suddenly there was a whole wave of data inside of them, which then exploded in a massive array of data and went around it.

Was this… was this a Data Storm?!

"What the hell?!" yelled Stormrider in surprise. He didn't see this coming, and how?! He looked at it all night! How didn't he see this!?

"What is this?!" yelled Frostgirl in shock as Soulburner and Flame realized where they saw this before.

"No way…" he said as he remembered when he saw one of them. It was against the first round against Varis, where he used his skill Storm Access to get his Topologic Bomber Dragon and created a Data Storm out of it.

"Is this a Data Storm?!" yelled Flame in surprise. What was it doing here?! And why now?!

They calmed down for a minute or two, as they realized that can handle this, as long as the little trail that they made wasn't cut-

SNAP!

Well shit, they turned around to see all of their trails that Seigen made in his coding was cut by a green fragger, those little bastards, which in turn, made Kitamura understand that they were there, and, even worse somehow, they were jumped into the Data Storm thanks to the strong winds.

Kitamura found out by their presence as one of the employees saw them in their screen which he then shared to the massive screen. His eyes widened, "How did we not see Soulburner, Frostgirl and Stormrider in this?!" he yelled as they were swinging around the Data Storm.

The three were going around the Data Storm as it was their first time being around it as they felt like they were going to puke, but they forced each other to stop that feeling as on their feet appeared their duel boards.

Their balance was horrible, which was normal since they were inside of a Data Storm, but they had to go through it and toughen it up as if Varis of all people can handle this, then they can as well, so they forced themselves to try their hardest not to fall of as they then went to the databank on their duel boards.

It was hard and sturdy as they have never went through something this windy as they can feel one wrong move was enough for them to lose their balance and be permanently deleted, but they continued forward.

Kitamura smirked, "Oh, so they think they can waltz in SOL Tech's databank with no problems whatsoever and think they can get away?! Not on my watch! Send in the Prototypes!" he ordered.

"But sir, they are only Prototypes and they aren't fully developed!" yelled one of the employees.

Kitamura turned to him, "Are you deaf?! I said in the Prototypes or you are fired!" he yelled as the employees sighed as they then two Prototypes appeared in front of them.

Prototype A was an AI as its head was round with sharp yellow eyes as the neck was dark green, with the shoulders being bright green, with one of the arms being bright green and the other dark green as the chest, side parts of the torso, hips were dark green, while the legs were green with a purple colouring scheme around the neck, arms, stomach and around ankles.

Prototype B was the other AI as its design was similar towards the A, but the eyes were sharp red eyes, the circles around the shoulders were light green, the chest piece and neck was dark purple, the side of the torso and chest were purple as well, while around the arms, shoulders and legs it was orange.

"Looks like we have company!" yelled Frostgirl with a smirk.

"Bring them on!" yelled Stormrider as he hyped himself up.

"Wait, why are there only 2 of them?" asked Soulburner as it was a good question.

Kitamura smirked as then his eyes widened, "Wait, why are there only 2 of them?!" yelled Kitamura as one of the employees looked at him.

"Well, sir, you did create only 2 of them so that was the main reason why only 2 of them are here." said one of the employees.

"Well, if they lose this duel, which I am sure that they won't since I created them, you will be fired!" he yelled.

The employee sighed as he turned to the screen as he thought to himself, "What did I do?!"

God, they miss Akira.

"Intruder detected!" yelled Prototype A.

"Duel shall commence!" yelled Prototype B as it looked at the three.

"Oh, so it is a duel you want, then come at thee!" yelled Stormrider as he raised his duel disk towards Prototype B.

"You go ahead, Soulburner, we will handle them!" yelled Frostgirl as she readied her duel disk towards Prototype A.

Soulburner looked at her and then at Stormrider as he smiled. "Alright! You two quickly catch up!" he yelled as he and Flame went past them.

The two looked at the Prototype and then smirked. Both of them yelled at the same time, "DUEL!"

Prototype A: 4000 lp

Frostgirl: 4000 lp

Speed Duel!

Prototype B: 4000 lp

Stormrider: 4000 lp

Speed Duel!

Turn 1.

Kitamura smirked as he looked at the massive television screen, "While the human mind only makes 38 quadrillion calculations per second, my AIs make up to quintillions! Those two don't stand a single chance against my AI."

Both Prototype A and B stayed quiet as they swiped their hands to pick a card from it. They then picked one of, "Pay 500 life points," (A/B: 4000 - 3500 LP.), "Special Summon Tentacluster Darkwhip."

On their side of the field appeared a massive armoured bug that was dark blue coloured with green lining around the side portions of the body as it was separated by different parts like they were different levels of it, with tentacles around the mouth, it also had tiny legs around the body.

(Tentacluster Darkwhip: Level 1 - Dark Machine - Attack: 100. Defense: 100.) x 2

Stormrider and Frostgirl cringed at that monster, they really weren't fans of bugs and a big one like that really made them not like them.

A and B then picked the same card at the same time, "Activate Spell card, Machine Duplication: Targeting a Machine Monster with 500 or lower Attack Points," they looked at their Darkwhip, "Special Summoning from the Deck 2 copies of Tentacluster Darkwhip."

As then on their side of the field 2 copies of Tentacluster Darkwhip, which filled out all of the monster slots of the two Prototypes and had 6 Tentacluster Darkwhips overall.

(Tentacluster Darkwhip: Level 1 - Dark Machine - Attack: 100. Defense: 100.) x 4

They then noticed something. Outside of their boring personalities, they were actually pretty decent at the game and even summoning out 3 monsters with two cards was no small feat, but they thought it was only getting started.

Both of them crossed their arms at the same time as green data appeared behind them, "Materializing circuit! Summoning Conditions: 3 Tentacluster Monsters." as then all of their Tentacluster monsters were then sucked into the Link Arrows, but they mostly went down to the lower ones.

"Link Summon! Link-3, Tentacluster Nautilus!" as then on their side of the field appeared a massive nautilus on their side. It was double the size of the Prototypes, as the bottom parts of it were purple and it did have purple eyes with tentacles around the mouth as the face was black and so were the tentacles.

(Tentacluster Nautilus: Link - Dark Machine - Attack: 0. Link-3. Link Arrows: Bottom-Left, Bottom-Middle and Bottom-Right.) x 2

Kitamura grinned to himself as he looked at the very first Link Summon ever performed on an AI, and a powerful one at that as it was a Link-3 with a powerful effect.

Both A and B pushed their arms forward, "Nautilus' Effect activates! When Link Summoned: 1 Tentacluster Monster is Special Summoned from the hand next to their Link Arrow."

As then on their side of the field appeared Tentacluster Drillworm, which was a vampire squid with a very pointy top as it looked and acted like a real drill as it was going haywire as on the bottom parts of it was silver and the end there were fins.

(Tentacluster Drillworm: Level 3 - Dark Machine - Attack: 600. Defense: 1200.) x 2

Prototype A and B then swiped their hands to reveal one last card from their hand, "Normal Summon Tentacluster Drillworm." as then on their side of the field appeared another Tentacluster Drillworm under Nautilus' Link Arrow.

(Tentacluster Drillworm: Level 3 - Dark Machine - Attack: 600. Defense: 1200.) x 2

"I'm… beginning to think that they may have stacked their decks." said Frostgirl as Stormrider nodded with her.

"Yeah, I believe so." said Stormrider as then Prototype A and B glared at them, but not for the reason of what they had said, but for a different reason.

"Activate Tentacluster Nautilus's Effect. Destroying all monsters under its Link Arrows." they said as then all Drillworms disappeared into thin air, which confused them, but Kitamura grinned as he knew exactly what was about to happen.

"Tentacluster Drillworm's effect activates! When destroyed by a card effect while in Attack Mode, the opponent sends random 1 card from their hand and if it is a monster, they send 1 additional card from their hand." they explained as their eyes widened.

"WHAT?!" they yelled at the same time as for Frostgirl's hand, first her Nekroz of Gungnir disappeared, and then her Dai-Sojo of the Ice Barrier and finally her Nekroz Cycle disappeared, only leaving General Wayne Of The Ice Barrier from her hand.

But Stormrider isn't going down like that, "Not so fast, I activate the effect of Diva Of Nephthys from my hand!" as then a card was burned to ashes as the image revealed a woman with tan skin, wearing sandals, black leggings, an egyptian styled dress that was golden at the top part, but slowly went down in red colouring as it went down, as her necklace was that of the head of Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys as she wore golden gauntlets on each of her arms and had black hair.

"With this, I can destroy this card from my hand, and then every other card sent to the graveyard from my hand counts as them being destroyed by card effects!" he yelled as then his entire hand was then burnt to ashes.

Prototype A and B then looked at them, "End Turn."

Turn 2. Frostgirl - 4000 lp - 1 card/ Stormrider - 4000 lp - 0 cards

To Akira and Ghost Gal

Finally, they managed to get to the SOL Tech databank and it was a long and boring journey, but they managed it. They got to the place where Akira could learn the truth of SOL Tech's past and what happened to her.

He looked around, the place was high tech and in the middle was a massive ball of data which he can access at any moment and during this time.

He looked to Ghost Gal who looked intrigued at it as he was as well. This could change everything that they know it, from who created the Lost Incident, what happened to them and her 10 years ago and more.

He didn't know how to feel.

Was he proud that he got there without much issue? That was the case, but there was something else.

Was he filled with excitement that he could learn so much about SOL Tech? That could be it, but he wasn't sure.

But it didn't really matter what it meant. All that was between him and that bank was nothing and he couldn't be more happy about it.

That means that he can go to the databank, walk towards it, look at all of the details with nothing between him to sto-

"Ghost Gal? And some guy who I don't know? How did you two get here?" Akira turned around quickly as he looked at Soulburner who got to the same room as them, the man that might have caused him a demotion, a man that his bosses wanted him to catch because of the Ignis.

Akira was silent.

He turned to Ghost Gal slowly, "Ghost Gal…"

"Yeah?" she turned to face him.

"How did he get here?" he asked her slowly.

She shrugged her shoulders, "Oh he beat me in a duel and got the key to get here."

"He won the ke- YOU DUELED HIM?!" asked Akira.

"Yeah, for the Ignis, I thought that was obvious." she said as Akira looked at her.

"Why didn't you tell me?!"

"Because you were asleep."

"You-" he gritted his teeth, gripped his fists into a ball, closed his eyes and began breathing slowly. He then turned to Soulburner looking normal, but at the same time really mad, "Listen Soulburner, we will meet formally, but right now, Ghost Gal and I are going to have a 'conversation' about this, so you be a good boy and sit there and do nothing. Got it?"

"But-"

"No buts, mister! You are staying there, not moving a muscle until we finish our conversation!" he said as he and Ghost Gal went about a couple of meters away so Soulburner and Flame could still see them, but couldn't hear their argument.

Soulburner and Flame stood there, wondering what in the 9 Circles of Dante's Hell just happened. How would that stop them from walking to the databank?

Do they have a third eye or something because that is just silly.

Soulburner chuckled as before he could take one step, Ghost Gal and Akira turned to him and yelled, "NO!" which stopped him as then they continued their argument.

"What the what?" he flabbergasted. What just happened.

"How?" That's all that Flame could ask.

Soulburner decided to take one more step, but was blocked by those two yelling "NO!"

Okay that was one hell of a forcefield. Looks like they can't get to the databank so easily after all.

They looked around.

"So you come here often?" asked Soulburner.

"Soulburner, really?" asked Flame as he looked at his partner.

"What I just wanted to have a conversation until they are finished."

"At least have a different topic, okay?" the Flame Ignis asked him as he nodded.

"Sure… thoughts on the new Demon Slayer Season?" he asked.

Back to Frostgirl and Stormrider

Prototype A and B: 3500 lp

Hand: 0 cards

Field: Tentacluster Nautilus, No Spells and Traps

Frostgirl and Stormrider: 4000 lp

Hand: 1 card (F), 0 cards (S)

Field: No monsters, No Spells and Traps

So far, the hand doesn't seem to be in a good shape for both of them, with one of them having 1 card and the other no cards at all, but this doesn't mean it will be over for them.

"This is going horribly." said Stormrider as Frostgirl nodded with him.

"Can't agree with you more, but we can handle him." she said as a card appeared on her duel disk as she drew it and Stormrider did it as well.

Unfortunately for them, both Prototype A and B threw their hands forward, "During Opponent's Standby Phase, if no monsters are in the Main Monsters zone and there is no hand: Banish one Tentacluster Drillworm from the graveyard to send 1 random card from the opponent's hand to the graveyard."

"Oh come on!" said Stormrider as his card instantly disappeared.

"Are you serious?!" yelled Frostgirl as her newly drawn card disappeared from her hand, but she did have a plan for that card.

"Then, Special Summon Tentacluster Drillworm from graveyard in Defense Mode." said both A and B as then Drillworms appeared on the field in defense mode.

(Tentacluster Drillworm: Level 3 - Dark Machine - Attack: 600. Defense: 1200.) x 2

Kitamura laughed, "HAH! How do you like that!" he stood up, scaring every employee there, "You just lost your entire hand in a single turn, and you have no way of coming back from that! Akira was a fool for not getting you, and I have proven why I should lead SOL Tech!" he yelled as he grinned, but then…

(A/N: Play Spirit Pledge - Yuno.)

Both of them grinned as if they heard him.

"During the Standby Phase, after getting destroyed by a card effect and sent to the graveyard, I can special summon this powerful beast," a card popped out of his graveyard as he took it as he began to chant, "As the phoenix comes down and dies, from its ashes comes out a more powerful phoenix! I Special Summon! Fire King High Avatar Garunix!"

Kitamura's eyes widened, "SAY WHAT?!"

From the Data Storm appeared a powerful and beautiful phoenix as it roared when summoned. It was larger than Tentacluster Nautilus, as its tail was the same size as the Prototypes, it had fire hair on the back as it had a gold beak, with green eyes, as its feathers are the most beautiful shades of red, purple, green, blue and yellow. It looked down on the Prototypes and grinned with malicious intent.

(Fire King High Avatar Garunix: Level 8 - Fire Winged Beast - Attack: 2700. Defense: 1700.)

"Now, two more effects go off at the same time! First, Chronicler of Nephthys' effect when it was destroyed by card effects, I can add a Nephthys monster from graveyard," a card popped out of his graveyard as he took it, "Like my Defender!"

He added that card to his hand, but he wasn't done, "Next up, when Fire King High Avatar Garunix is special summoned like this from the graveyard," he grinned ear to ear, "every monster on your side of the field is destroyed! Go, Amaterasu!" he yelled as then from the legendary bird appeared fire from it as it was hot as the Sun as it went towards the two monsters as they were burned.

Prototype B didn't look worried, but Stormrider knew that he won this duel with one more turn, but Frostgirl went ahead with her turn since she requires more of a strategy.

"Alright, since my Card Of Compensation was sent from my hand to the graveyard, I can draw 2 cards from my deck!" she yelled as she drew the top 2 cards from her deck that appeared from her deck.

She looked at it and smirked, this will all go perfectly, but first…"I activate the Spell Monster Reborn! This card allows me to special summon a monster from my graveyard, so welcome Dai-Sojo of The Ice Barrier!"

As then on her side of the field appeared a young man with tan skin wearing a hat that was the symbol of a snowflake as it wore old styled clothing on the top as the lower part of his body was that of an old dark blue robe with ice blue shoes, wearing light blue gauntlets, wearing a staff as the symbol was a snowflake.

(Dai-Sojo Of The Ice Barrier: Level 6 - Water Spellcaster - Attack: 1600. Defense: 2200.)

"Now, how about a little bit of combos?! I banish from my graveyard my Nekroz Cycle and Nekroz Of Gungnir thanks to Cycle, so I can add Nekroz Mirror from my deck!" she yelled as she grabbed the top card from her deck as the card disappeared.

She then grabbed a different card from her hand, "Now, since you control a monster and I control an Ice Barrier monster, I can special summon from my hand the newest general, General Wayne Of The Ice Barrier!"

On her field appeared a man with tan skin and an impressive build, wearing an armour that was well suited for the harsh winter weather as it was dark blue around his stomach and hips, and slowly light blue up and down the armour as he wore blue gauntlets with a small sword, wearing a red scarf with her blue helmet and purple cloak.

(General Wayne Of The Ice Barrier: Level 5 - Water Warrior - Attack: 2100. Defense: 400.)

"Now since when he is summoned in any way, I can add any Ice Barrier Spell and Trap, like my Medallion of The Ice Barrier." she said as she grabbed the card that was on her duel disk, and automatically played it.

"Now this card has a great effect because with this, I can add any Ice Barrier monster from my deck to my hand and I will pick an old fashioned monster like my Samurai Of The Ice Barrier!" she yelled as she revealed her newly added monster with a smirk on her face.

She looked over to her best friend who sighed. His shtick was just ruined. She took a card from her hand as it appeared on her field, "I will now activate the Ritual Spell, Nekroz Mirror!" as then on her field appeared a circle with images of Trishula appearing in each of them as 6 of them lit up.

"With this, I can tribute a monster from my hand or field for the summon of 1 Ritual monster, so I choose my Dai-Sojo as the tribute!" she said as her monster disappeared as it went to the circle automatically. She grinned as she began to chant, "Dragon from the ice, become one with a warrior as your might becomes one to create a powerful warrior! I Ritual Summon! Appear, Nekroz of Brionac!"

At first, the monster that appeared on her field was Brionac, but suddenly its eyes went dark as then a young boy's head appeared from it with red eyes and green eyes as the entire body morphed like it was armour for the new boy with the wings being his own wings in combat as the head of Brionac was a helmet for the new monster. It even got a new sword as the peak of the blade was made out of blue eyes.

(Nekroz Of Brionac: Level 6 - Ritual - Water Warrior - Attack: 2300. Defense: 1400.)

Everyone stared at the newly summoned warrior like it was a warrior from a legend as Frostgirl grinned. She really wanted to Ritual Summon like Seigen, so she thought why not add the Nekroz monsters? It would be a nice change in pace instead of only having Synchro monsters.

"And how about this?! My Nekroz Of Brionac can return up to two monsters on your field that were from the Extra Deck back to it!" she yelled Brionac pointed his sword towards Tentacluster Nautilus as then an Ice Beam appeared from it making it into ice, shattering it once it was done.

They both looked at each other as they then nodded. They took a card from their hand at the same time and yelled, "I now Normal Summon Defender of Nephthys/ Samurai Of The Ice Barrier!"

As then on their field appeared, one an old fashioned samurai as his sword was made out of ice and his armour had a light blue colouring scheme, while on his side of the field appeared a woman with tan skin, long yellow hair, green eyes wearing a golden armour with an orange cape and gold magical sword.

(Samurai Of The Ice Barrier: Level 4 - Water Warrior - Attack: 1800. Defense: 1500.)

(Defender Of Nephthys: Level 2 - Wind Spellcaster - Attack: 1400. Defense: 200.)

Both friends looked at each other and nodded. They will strike at the same time, but first…

"Battle! Samurai Of The Ice Barrier attacks your Drillworm! Striking Tide!" Frostgirl yelled as her Samurai ran towards the Drillworm as he then performed a multitude of slashes like a water would to create multiple consecutive slashes as it exploded.

They then looked at each other and nodded. They pushed their hands forward, "BATTLE! General Wayne and Nekroz of Brionac…"

"Fire King High Avatar Garunix and Defender…" they both started slowly as then they yelled at the same time.

"FINISH THIS!" Wayne and Brionac both dashed towards Prototype A as their ice swords were then made even tougher as at the same time they slashed Prototype A at the same time, but Wayne did it in a lower part of the body, while Brionac did the upper part of the body as Fire King High Avatar Garunix shot a powerful fire ball at Defender as her body was engluved in flames as she charged in to Prototype B, slashing it in one attack.

Kitamura dropped to his chair as he was shocked what he saw.

He lost…in one turn?!

Prototype A: 3500 - 0 lp

Frostgirl: 4000 lp

Prototype B: 3500 - 0 lp

Stormrider: 4000 lp

FROSTGIRL/STORMRIDER: WINNER!

(A/N: End Theme.)

Kitamura looked at the ground at what he just saw. The Prototypes that he planned to use against the Knights Of Hanoi, were defeated against those two. He gritted his teeth.

"Not good enough! My AI should've destroyed those two in a matter of seconds, but they LOST?! THAT'S IT! These AIs are getting an upgrade right now! YOU HEAR ME?!" he yelled as he looked at the employees, "Make them stronger than ever or you all will be fired!"

One of the employees turned to the other, "How many times has he threatened to fire us today?"

"23 times." the other replied as they continued to work on those AI.

Meanwhile, Frostgirl and Stormrider were taking a small breather as they won their duel, "That was… a bit challenging." said Stormrider in between breaths.

"Like you are one to talk, you summoned one monster as then his entire field is destroyed while I need a strategy to win in that duel." said Frostgirl.

"Hey, what isn't broke, don't fix it." said Stormrider as Frostgirl sighed.

"I guess, but I think we should go for that databank, right? " she suggested as Stormrider nodded with her. Luckily it won't take long as all that they have to do is just to go straight ahead with no issues and that is it.

They went straight forward with their duel boards, ready to learn more about the past of that incident, especially Seigen which got him a bit anxious as he gulped when he thought about it.

When they were close they saw it, the road towards the databank as it was like a tunnel with the walls being black and there being a single road of light like a door as they went forward, slowly and slowly and then they reached it.

The place where the databank should be as they looked around as it did look hightech with weird yellow spheres as they saw an object that they can't describe, but they know it was the place where the databank was stored.

But the thing that caught their eyes was Ghost Gal and a guy that they haven't met arguing while Soulburner is sitting criss-cross applesauce with Flame sitting in front of him.

"No, I haven't actually tried peanut butter." said Soulburner as he heard his best friend and girlfriend yelling behind him as he turned around.

"Dude! The hell are you doing!?" yelled Stormrider.

"What kind of conversation are you two having?" asked Frostgirl as Stormrider turned to her.

"That's your main question?" he asked her with a confused expression.

"Well no, but I- Aren't you also confused as well?" asked Frostgirl as Stormrider raised a finger to protest about it, but closed it as he was silent.

"Touche, but still…" he turned to his best friend, "THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!"

"Oh, uhm… waiting for those two to stop having their argument I guess?" said Soulburner as they looked at him.

"Why?" asked Frostgirl.

Flame shrugged, "Oh, it is simple. You see when two people have two different opinions, they start to have a conversation where they disagre-"

"Not that, but why are you waiting?"

"Oh, because somehow they have a third eye to predict whenever I would walk when they are having their argument, so I decided to wait. Not to mention the guy ordered me to do it." he said as they looked at him with pure confusion.

They then looked at each other and believe that is stupid, so they decided to take one step an-

"NO!" they both turned around as they were stunned to even move.

How?

They decided to do it one more time, but again, "NO!"

They looked bamboozled.

They dropped to their butts as they started to wait like him.

Soulburner then looked at Frostgirl, "I hope we don't argue like that in the future."

"I hope too."

After a solid minute or two of Ghost Gal and Akira arguing, the two start to walk the opposite side of the four, as they stood up with Soulburner placing his duel disk on his arm.

Akira coughed in his hand, "I am sorry for…that. Ghost Gal and I had a bit of a," he looked at her while she is whistling, "disagreement, so allow me to introduce myself. I am Akira Zaizen, a former security manager of SOL Tech. You don't need to introduce yourselves since I already know you and the Ignis as well."

"Okay…Akira, why are you here?" asked Flame as Akira looked at the Fire Ignis.

"Well, I do have a personal mission of mine that is similar to yours, but if you want to know fully, I also want to know the history of SOL Tech and The Lost Incident." said Akira.

"How do you know about the Lost Incident?" asked Stormrider as he narrowed his eyes at him.

Akira gripped his hands, but he looked calm, "That is classified and personal for me, so I can't answer that. But if you do want to know how it was brought to my attention, you can thank Ghost Gal for that."

"What?" asked Soulburner.

Ghost Gal chuckled, "Well, remember your little duel with Varis in the Data Storm?" their eyes widened, "Well, you can thank my little fireflies for getting that information, so you don't have to worry about it."

"That's right, and I think that is enough questions between us, because you are not going anywhere." said Akira as they looked at him.

"What are you insinuating?" asked Frostgirl.

"What I am talking about is that you shouldn't worry any longer that I am going to face the Knights of Hanoi alone after I learn all of the information from the databank," he said as their eyes widened. He is going to face the Knights Of Hanoi, alone?! Is he insane?! "And, there is a different reason, that I am sure that you might not like."

He didn't let them ask as he already knew what they were asking for, "That is, while I don't speak for the other two, but I am sure that reliving that time of your live isn't good for anyone and I believe you would enjoy never reliving that again, so please allow me to take SOL Tech and the Knights of Hanoi to their justice."

"Are you kidding me?! After everything we've been through!? This entire road!? Nearly losing Flame, are you insane?!" yelled Soulburner as he stepped forward.

Akira didn't seem shocked by this, "No, I am being serious. Anyone, like you who is so young, should never be doing this or relive any horrible past trauma like the Lost Incident. This isn't a show on the internet created by some fantasy, this is real life. Someone who is a teenager like you three shouldn't have gone on this journey in the first place, and a person who is grown up like me should do this. So please allow me to help you to end this pain of suffering and turn around. Nothing will go down bad if you do. I will even leave you and your Ignis alone if you do, you have my word." he said as he wanted them to know that there is no way to argue against that, but Soulburner gritted his teeth.

"Like hell that will happen! After being hunted down by a Pro Duelist, a hunter, then the Knights Of Hanoi show up, put Frostgirl in a coma, me nearly dying to their leader and nearly loosing Flame, then nearly losing him again as Ghost Gal wanted to sell him, you expected us to just think "You know why not?" and live out happily?!" he yelled as Akira narrowed his eyes. "You know that is full of shit! I won't be going anywhere until we get that databank, you got that?!" he yelled as he knew that wasn't the right thing to say as it didn't kind of sound selfish, it wasn't an unwarranted reaction to that as even they wanted the answers to it and they won't leave until they got the answers.

Especially Stormrider.

Akira sighed, "Fine then, if you won't budge, then," he raised his duel disk, "You will have to duel me for it." The Master Duel field appeared below Akira and Soulburner's feet. "If I win, you four will go and leave everything to me, but if you win, you can get the information of SOL Tech. Does that sound fair?"

Soulburner turned to Frostgirl and Stormrider as they nodded to that and so did Soulburner. "Yes, it does." he said.

"Alright, then," he said as Soulburner readied his duel disk.

Ghost Gal sat there, collecting tiny amounts of data from the database and then back to her boyfriend, "Hey, Soulburner, just a quick warning. Aki here doesn't usually duel, but when he does, well, let's just say that they couldn't make him scratch."

"We will see about that." said Soulburner as they looked at each other as they then yelled "DUEL!" at the same time.

Master Duel!

To Be Continued!

Author Notes:

Done! How did y'all like it? A good 9k chapter, not bad if I say so.

It was kind of hard for me to write the action and adventure part of this chapter as it wasn't my strongest point, but I did try and I hoped that it went well enough.

Here is the Angelmaker counter. Here we go with Kolter teasing Yusaku about meeting Skye, Yusaku going around to see and to talk with Skye and Skye saving Yusaku's butt from the Prototypes.

Angelmaker Counter: 15.

So about the Protoypes… They were the characters of all time. They did have designs and voices. They did have a duel. Yeah, that was about it. The duels were fine in my opinion, but kind of boring at times. It did give us a monster for Yusaku Vector Scare Archfiend… which was there for an episode. And it did give us one of the 3 Skye wins in the entire show…yay.

Next up is Akira vs Soulburner, which I hope you enjoyed the laughs because you won't have any there. It was hard for me to make, but I enjoy the overall project and I hope you guys enjoy it as well and fun fact: this will be Soulburner's last duel until… like 10 chapters later, lol.

I think that is about it, see ya'!
