It was the day after the raid aka a Friday in the SOL Tech databank, dueling the Prototype AIs and Akira Zaizen when they learned one of the biggest bombshells known to man kind that one of their friends were apart of the Lost Incident that they weren't aware of and it was all going well.
They did finally know and realize that Seigen was a part of the Lost Incident and they had a conversation on why he hadn't told anyone about it, how he was affected and everything about it in a mature setting and after the hug they felt that their bond grew stronger than before which they did like to see it.
When they were finished with the hug, they helped Seigen out by cleaning his apartment, which they might or might not have found something disturbing, with them taking out the chips bags, empty energy drink cans, a lot of tissues, cleaning up his laptop which was filled with dust to the point that anyone that was allergic to dust would die in a 20 meter radius, and it only took them around half an hour with the place almost looking spotless.
Not to mention Theodore going on Amazon and purchasing a whole door that he kicked off the hinges that had the correct dimensions for the door so it wasn't empty as it would arrive a day later, but thankfully Seigen's apartment complex didn't have too much people it wasn't that much of an issue for him.
Not to mention they limited Seigen's addiction of Energy Drinks to 1 per day much to his dismay, so he just buys a lot of 0,5 liters of drinks so he doesn't just drink the smaller ones.
Now it was currently school time, but people have realized something different from the group. Well outside of Kiku and Theodore making all of those lovey dovey eyes which they have to suffer through.
They noticed that Seigen… looked happier. Like he looked like genuinely was happy compared to yesterday which looked like his usual self, but now he looked like he was happy and his smiles were legit this time which was a nice thing to see even though some were just minding their own business.
During the classes, the test from Math was graded, which judging by the normal standards for math, was pretty damn fast. Seigen got an A, Kiku got an A- which was still pretty decent and Theodore got a C+, which the silver-red haired boy celebrated the moment class ended. The way he celebrated was basically that one popular meme with Penguinz0 when he was reacting to that Unicorn toy.
Flame thought he was high on bath salt when he was in his bag, but knowing that it was Theodore eased up the tension just a bit. Not a huge margin, but still a noticeable amount.
They did have to learn the ancient history about the Pharaoh known as Abidos The Third, who was rumoured to be one of the greatest duelists of his era, but they did learn that he came to life one day and was shown to be a fraud. Still though, his legend remained to be a legend, but not on the same level as Atem.
After they walked past a fight between two students, which is sadly a recurring theme in this school, how is this school still around? They went through more classes that all lasted for about 45 minutes each and then it was all over for now.
After school was finished, they all began walking to Seigen's apartment with Theodore carrying the door since he was the one who broke it and after a few minutes of adjusting the door to his apartment, they went in.
And now, Flame thought it was the perfect way to speak about everything that he remembered and what the databank had in store, which was a lot.
According to Flame, the man who was responsible for the Lost Incident, or how it was also known as the Hanoi Incident, was by the name of Kiyoshi Kogami, a man that once worked for SOL to create the Ignis using the now named Lost Children which they now know as Theodore Hamilton, Seigen Futai and Skye Zaizen, at least the ones that they know are the Lost Children, as a way to create the new Ignis.
Theodore and Seigen gripped their hands which they realized that they were suffering just to be scapegoats for the creation of the Ignis and Kiku gritted her teeth.
It was also stated that Kiyoshi Kogami most likely worked alone since it was never documented if he was working with. Not even the higher ups of SOL Tech like King, Queen or Rook, which was shocking to hear that such an event was most likely built by one man, which they didn't really believe in.
But there was also something really shocking that they were a lost of words to even think about. And that is that Kiyoshi Kogami was most likely dead. Which was completely shocking.
That was just brutal to hear that he is dead and from what they have heard, SOL Tech was most likely the ones that were responsible for his death, but that wasn't the case fully. Sure he hasn't been seen in public, but there were no documents that fully meant that he was dead. Sure there were some that said that he is retired, but never dead. It is interesting to think about if you ask them.
They were quiet when Flame was finished explaining from what he has gathered from the SOL Tech databank and man was it alot. They couldn't really explain it, but that was just hard to hear about and can you blame them?
Two of them had to hear that were just puppets in order to create two beings in which one of them was in front of them and Kiku had to realize that her best friend and boyfriend were tortured just to create a new life form and species. They aren't blaming Flame for it, no they would never, they were just shocked to hear that.
Now, Flame continued once they were sure to hear him out, but this time, it wasn't much from what he could remember. He does know the way back to Cyberse, but it felt like he was still endangering them because Varis was still there, probably waiting for them to arrive.
Not to mention, he realized what he truly is. He was Ignis, basically an AI with free will which they all knew, but it felt like he was created for one reason alone, but he couldn't really think about it.
Was it something about humanity? He does have an inkling about it because whenever he begins to think about it, he does hear the words humanity, but never the other words which were confusing for them.
Right now, they were alarmed by a couple of things, one was the recent news that happened in Link VRAINS, which was currently being broadcasted on the TV.
"Attention, citizens of Japan," they all turned their attention to the TV to see a woman with a suit on as she was a news reporter, "Today, a strange new event in the popular internet server known as Link VRAINS."
"An event? What event?" asked Theodore as he looked at everyone.
They all shrugged their shoulders, "Don't look at me Teddy, I have no idea what they are talking about also."
They all turned their attention to the TV as she continued with footage that happened today, "As duelists in the server were talking to each other or dueling, a new event happened out of nowhere with the event being that of an Eclipse." They were shocked to hear that, but what was more strange was that it actually did look like an Eclipse.
The Sun was being blocked by the Moon as all of their attention was turned straight towards it, but what was strange that there wasn't an Eclipse today so they were wondering why that happened exactly?
Flame remembered one time that an Eclipse in the Ancient Times, more specifically in China, meant that it foretells the future of the Emperor and they believe that when it occurs, a celestial dragon devours the Sun.
Sure that was an ancient myth, but would it really be so farfetched to say that it wasn't a coincidence?
The news lady continued, "While it was beautiful for the duelists to look at, the surrounding citizens noticed something happening to the holograms in Link VRAINS which that they weren't responding and that some of the data disappeared, but were shortly returned once the Eclipse was finished," the footage showed the Moon returning to its original place as everything else was back from normal.
This… wasn't a coincidence. Not at all. They were convinced that this has to do with something about Varis and they knew it.
"Could this be a random coincidence? Was this programed by SOL Tech? Or was it just an error in the programing? Or could it be something completely harmless?" asked the news lady as she asked some decent questions.
"I am not sure if it was harmless." said Seigen.
"It could mean something bad." said Kiku as Theodore nodded with his girlfriend.
"Really, really bad," he said.
"Whatever the case, it was a memorable event for Link VRAINS." said the reporter as she then took a different piece of paper, "Now onto a different topic: The new Top 5 Memes of the Week."
With Emma
Ghost Gal, or Emma Besho as she was known in real life, was looking through some data that she managed to pick up during the duel between Akira and Soulburner.
It was really shocking to hear Akira keeping such a massive secret from her and for such a long time, but she understood his reasoning. It was the worst time of his life and he didn't want to think back to it at all which was the reason why he never talked about it.
She understood it, she really did, but it still hurt her to know that he kept a secret like that from her, which they did have to talk about for about an hour and it did mean a lot to her that Akira has massive trust in her like that. Also she found it funny and cute that as soon as Akira went back to his home, with her following him, Akira just walked up to Skye and hugged her out of the blue which confused the girl completely but she still welcomed it.
Now she was researching the data she managed to steal from the databank which allowed to get some information about it, and it wasn't much other than the fact that it contained the name of the son of Doctor Kogami, which she didn't know was important.
She began to dig up something else, and by that, I mean hacking it into the system and she saw something weird. That in a month and a week later, if it had enough data, would start up a tower of some sorts. She realized that if she stopped it now, Varis would realize it and stop her anytime, and most likely the other Knights of Hanoi and the Commanders/Lieutenants of the Knights of Hanoi.
Which she did not want to mess around with. She was confident in her ability to duel, but not that much.
She sighed, it seems that she has to wait for most of them to be finished before she could go in there and stop it.
Which meant that she had time to play some new games and especially some Kirby games. Afterall she was the Number 1 Kirby fan-
She got a notification on her Tumblr and saw the notification and her eyes widened.
ThunderMarisol: Are you sure about that?
Oh no.
Not again!
She doesn't want to get humbled again! Not after losing her Number 1 Angelmaker fan spot. She began to sweat, hard.
With Varis
Varis stood in a room filled with green data as he moved around them. He was nearly done with collecting data to form a data for one purpose, to destroy the Ignis and the Cyberse even if this leads humanity back into the stone age, it still would be preferable over them.
The preparations have been almost complete, he is ready for the downfall of the Ignis, even if it did cost several lives in the process. He needed to defeat them, to avenge everyone, to avenge him.
He then heard someone appearing behind him as he turned around to see Baira.
"Master Varis, your father wanted me to see you." she said as Varis nodded as he automatically knew what she was talking about.
"I see, so it is time for one of our plans to come into fruition, it seems." he said as Baira nodded.
"That's right. We need Kiku Kamishirakawa's blood that we took while she was in a coma." said Baira as she remembered when she had to extract her blood when she was in a coma before Varis' duel against Soulburner.
"And here it is." he said as data then appeared in his hands as he then brought the data towards it.
Baira looked at the data with a frown on her face and Varis knew why. "I know why you are upset. You don't want to do this, but trust me, neither do I." Baira looked at him, "Just because we don't want to, doesn't mean that we shouldn't."
"You are right, it is just dehumanizing using the virus we made at such a level." she said as Varis nodded.
"Correct, but if it is for the safety against the Ignis, then so be it." he said as Baira took the data from his hands and nodded.
"I understand. I will give it to Genome, he is the one that is the best at replicating the virus while Faust is the best when it comes to spreading the virus." said Baira as she walked away.
Varis saw Baira disappear from his sights as he sighed. Is this really the best way he can go against the Ignis like this? Targeting innocent civilians? Sadly, that might be the best solution.
Varis then looked at the data and began moving it around, thinking of ways of creating new monsters.

We see six different Ignis flying around the Cyberse, all with their accompanying archetypes, with Flame escaping the Cyberse in the hands of Theodore Hamilton as a second later, his appearance changed that of Soulburner as he began walking slowly with a determined look on his face. As then a Duel Monsters card appeared on the screen which was flipped over to reveal the words, "Bring The Heat, Soulburner!"
Grey words can't make anything happen
We then see Theodore facing backwards to a boy with silver hair and blue eyes, but was 2 years older than him as they both raised their heads, as they turned to Soulburner and Varis as they turned around as Salamangreat Heatleo and Borreload Dragon striked each other at the same time.
I know, yeah I know
Soulburner covered his face from the dust of the explosion as Varis was floating above him as he went flying on his duel board.
Wishing to fly freely across the sky
Soulburner then began to chase him with a duel board of his own with a determined face.

Once he got close, he somehow managed to dodge an attack from Specter's Sunavalon monsters as the Lieutenants of the Hanoi were along with him.

As soon as they appeared, Frostgirl, Stormrider and the Gore appeared with him to assist him in this match as Soulburner grinned ear to ear as they each faced one of the Knights of Hanoi, with Gore fighting Genome with his Gouki Suprex and Riscorpio as Genome had X-Kralwer Neurogos, Frostgirl having out her Nekroz Of Trishula on the field while Baira had her Dark Mummy Surgical Forceps, Stormrider with his Cerulean Sacred Phoenix Of Nephthys against Faust's Worm Zero as Soulburner passed Specter as his scarf hit the screen as a new transition was made.
To faraway future, I burst out running
We then see Soulburner flying on a duel board as then Stormrider and Frostgirl were near them, both with grins on their faces as Frostgirl winked Soulburner whose face flushed red for some time as then Flame appeared as he began flying with fire on his feet.
Go beyond even the unseen fears
Gore was then seen on a ring with his new Gouki XYZ monster with the kids looking excited with stars in their faces as he left out a dramatic roar for the audience.
The vision I had, so I can be myself
Akira was then seen with a determined face as he held a picture of his younger sister when she was younger as he then gritted his teeth. He looked down as tears went down his face as he remembered their past.

Ghost Gal then appeared with a saddened face as she saw Akira, as then the man raised walked towards the data bank of SOL Tech.

He then turned around as he saw Soulburner coming near them.

Soulburner then summoned out Salamangreat Miragestellio and Pyro Phoenix as Akira summoned out Tindangle Acute Cerberus as the two monsters clashed.

While the battle was commencing, Frostgirl watched the duel with a concerned face, but Stormrider's face wasn't shown as well as tears went down his face.
I call this a miracle.
We then see Kiku and Theodore with their arms opened towards Seigen as Flame was carrying the same motion as he had tears in his eyes as he then smiled as he fell to their embrace. Then a new screen was made as Theodore, Flame, Kiku and Seigen were smiling at the screen with Varis looking at them with his back turned against them with a wicked smile on his face.
BRING THE HEAT, SOULBURNER! - THE KNIGHTS OF HANOI!

It was currently a week after the Eclipse that happened in Link VRAINS and so far, nothing too major has happened so far, as the trio in Link VRAINS have still remained popular, but this time they have realized that there were fewer Knights Of Hanoi than usual which was interesting as before it seemed that there were alot in the past, but that could be just a coincidence as there were beating a lot of Knights.
They also heard that the Gore has finally gotten a new Gouki monster that wasn't just a Link Monster, rather it was an XYZ monster which was really cool to hear and it was even based on one of the most famous wrestlers of all time, The Undertaker or Mark William, but for now it hasn't made an appearance so far which they were excited to see.
Seigen did get some new cards for the Nephthys archetype, but it wasn't a lot as it was enough to keep it in the game, as Kiku did get some more Ritual Support for her cards, while Theodore?
Theodore found out that while looking through his deck, he found a card that he has never used before or seen which even Flame forgot about and the shocking part? It was a Tuner monster. That's right, Theodore could potentially Synchro Summon, but there was a problem, he didn't have a Synchro monster, or a usable Synchro monster for his deck, which sucked.
But the card in name was a Salamangreat monster by the name of Salamangreat Hummingbird, which was a Level 1 Tuner, that was the same as one of the birds, as the feathers were red, but at the end were golden as the beak was emerald coloured with blue eyes, as around the top of it, were orange coloured feathers as the legs were at the start blue, but slowly becoming black.
It's effect was unique, in that it could special summon itself on the field if you control a monster from the Extra Deck both from the hand and graveyard, with the latter being that of a Level Eater-like effect.
It was a great card, but the only sad part was that there weren't good enough Synchro monsters for that monster which bugged him as the card was extremely usable and could easily be able to help him in duels.
But other than that sad fact, there wasn't that big of a difference compared to now and last week, or at the very least, that is what they thought. They realized that many of their classmates weren't there, which was fine if they were just sick, but some haven't shown up for a week now.
And the worst part is that it was just one at a time, but over time, more and more students have been recorded that some were in the hospital because of this, which began a rumour, a rumour that could all be directed towards the Knights of Hanoi, or more specifically, Varis.
It was called The Deleted. It was rumoured that during midnight, some cursed duel disks would come out and drag their owners into Link VRAINS as they wouldn't be able to log off, forever. Unable to log out of Link VRAINS and stay unconscious in the real world.
But that didn't sound plausible, even for their standards as they have seen somethings, or heard, or experienced some things that would scar any normal human being, at to hear something about a haunted duel disk, sounded nothing more than a Fairy Tale, which they did assume that it was possible as one of them was in a coma like that rumour, which got them intrigued.
Was it due to Varis' influence, or was it just a coincidence? Could it be some really rare coincidence that it was similar to Kiku's virus when she was in a coma? That really didn't seem plausible, which sparked their interest to a massive amount compared to the rest.
But whatever the cause, they knew what they have to do. They have to stop this virus from spreading any further and it didn't matter if it was due to Varis or some other schmuck, they will stop this, but they did have class…
…if Seigen didn't hack into the hospital's security cameras when the rest were actually paying attention, as he felt a small being kick him in the shins for not doing so, and to his horror, it was true, for the most part that most of their classmates were in a coma in the same room in fact.
But there was a scarier thing about all of this. It wasn't happening to just them, but to people from different cities like Den City. It was horrible to know that it was happening to everyone around Japan, and the fact it was spreading was terrifying.
They have to do something about thi-
They all noticed a notification that was delivered for everyone, which they read immediately, even the teacher, as their eyes widened when they read it.
Dear Users of Link VRAINS, we are announcing about an important event going on Link VRAINS, but this is a one that you don't want to be a part of. If you somehow don't know, the Knights Of Hanoi have been a pain in the butt and a massive issue for everyone involved of Link VRAINS users, and even damaged a part of Link VRAINS that can't be improved for the rest as the server exists, so we decided to go against them! And this is without the help of the other duelists with duelists like Gore, Blue Angel, or even those three duelists known as Soulburner, Frostgirl and Stormrider, as the main security manager aka me, or if you don't know me, the name is Kitamura.
How is it going to work you may ask? Well that is simple to answer, in the next 5 hours, or 17:00 to be precise, we will send all of my dueling AIs that could create not just billions, no, trillions, no, quintillions equations per second that I made sure to counter every strategy known to mankind so they will duel every Knight of Hanoi and the event won't stop until every Knight of Hanoi is defeated. It doesn't matter if the event lasts a couple of minutes or weeks, you are not allowed to log in until the event is finished, I hope all of you understand.

Well then! That was a way to make sure that they won't duel anyone in Link VRAINS! And what a way to let them outside from the server because of a massive raid of those dueling Prototypes a week ago against the Knights of Hanoi, but they weren't sure if it was able to defeat Varis, but it was worth the shot to see it.
It would be interesting to say the least.
With Varis
Varis was standing in the same room as before, but this time he was not doing anything like making new data or hacking to other devices. He was waiting for the most important members of Knights of Hanoi, which they did behind him.
"Master Varis, we apologize for wasting your time, but we have important news." bowed in respect, Genome as Varis turned to the Liuntentets and his right hand man, Specter.
"Don't worry about that, Genome, and I think I know what you are talking about." all 4 of them look at their leader in interest.
"You do?" asked Faust as Varis nodded his head, "Well, we at least want to know how to approach this situation, so please tell us." he asked as Varis nodded once more.
"Well, it is simple. Since that idiot Kitamura announced his plans to everyone in Japan, it is safe to assume that every Knight Of Hanoi got that message, am I correct?" he asked everyone as they nodded, "Now, since our plan of the Tower Of Hanoi has to collect enough data so it could properly start, I thought about using them as the scapegoats for the Tower of Hanoi."
Baira looked at Varis, "I see, so even in a month's time to start the Tower of Hanoi, it could boost its fuel to start the deletion of the Ignis, and thanks to our Virus, it will grow even faster if we do get the Ignis."
Varis nodded, "Correct Baira and it would help us see how ineffective most of the Knights are in the Knights of Hanoi." he said.
"But I do wonder, how do we approach this situation if almost all of our Knights are defeated, if I may ask." asked Faust as Varis placed a hand on his hip.
"Well that is where you three come in," he said to Baira, Genome and Faust, "Once almost everyone was defeated, you three come in and defeat every single one of those dueling AI until there is not a single trace of them."
Baira, Faust and Genome all nodded as they bowed their respects towards their leader of the Hanoi, "Understood, Master Varis."
"We will make sure to make you proud."
"And to dissect their DNA if it is possible." said Faust, Baira and Genome one at a time.
"Master Varis, I have a question as well." they all turned to Specter, "Shall I assist them in this fight against those dueling AI or should I sit on the sidelines?" he asked as Varis smirked at him.
"It depends on the situation. If they are having trouble against them, which I highly don't think is possible, then you can come in and defeat those AIs, but if they aren't, which is likely, then you don't have to." explained Varis as his right hand man nodded and so did the Commanders of the Hanoi.
"Understood, Master." they said as they bowed for respect.
"Then you are all free to log out as I want to see how it all goes out." he said as he turned to the screens as they all disappeared one at a time.
With The Group
It has officially been a few hours since the notification has arrived for everyone and the anticipation has been killing them as they were currently in Seigen's apartment, waiting for the AIs to duel the Knights of Hanoi. During those couple of hours, they have learned a few things.
The first one, which was mostly the most unimportant one of the bunch, and that is about the soon appearance of the Stardust Road. The Stardust Road was a very rare sight that has only been caught on camera a handful of times, and it is when the planktons in the ocean reflect the sky above to create a powerful event which was just a beautiful design.
It was reported to be around the of Den City, which was a couple of minutes away with a car, which Teddy does know how to drive, but he isn't confident at all with it, and it was seen at the at coast end of the populated city. Which would arrive in a month.
The second was actually a very useful thing to know and that is the Tuner that Theodore has recently gotten which was the Salamangreat Hummingbird monster which with the right cards, could create a great board and use a lot of cards to their advantage, but sadly, he doesn't have those cards or more specifically…

And the third one, and the most important one, is they have realized the running theme of the victims of the Deleted thanks to Flame and there were: that their duel disks were usually an older model, like the ones that Theodore normally uses, that they have decent amount of potential of dueling and the final one is that they were at the very least capable of hacking, even if it was at a novice level.
That really didn't set right with them as no matter how much they tried to get them in Link VRAINS forcefully it won't work since their IDs and locations have been completely blocked thanks to Seigen and Kiku was completely safe since they are of old models.
Not to mention, they don't know who was next because they can't just hack into the Knights of Hanoi mainframe as it is literally unhackable. No matter what you do to it, it will stay safe no matter what. They don't think that even the Shepherd could create this good amount of firewalls.
There is also the scary fact that… Varis was still around.
That was a terrifying thing to hear as they can't let that happen, they have to win.
They couldn't believe they were thinking about this, but… they wanted SOL Tech to win this war, or at the very least, root for them to beat the Knights Of Hanoi.
And so then the war between the Knights of Hanoi and SOL Tech's AI duelists began as it was streamed all over the internet and TV. It started of small with a couple of the Knights just flying around, trying to see any duelists coming their way for the sake of their leader until they were abushed, by them.
They were pretty similar in design to the Prototypes that Kiku and Seigen dueled for the SOL Tech databank, but there were differences. Almost all of them have different colours with the head, the eyes, the shoulders, the orbs on the shoulders, the biceps, arms, legs, the entire body all had different colours and every AI was like that. All with different colours.
It started off with the Knights trying to have the upperhand as one even used cards like Nibiru to stop the AIs from playing their deck, but it didn't stop them, far from it, it increased the pace, as the three duelists had to cover themselves as they flew off their board as then, a new bunch of Knights of Hanoi came and so began another set of duels.
Sure the next bunch of the Hanoi Knights performed better than the last bunch, as some did defeat 2 of the AIs, but those were nothing compared to the massive amount of AIs coming their way, each more powerful than the last and it was quickly approaching them.
No matter how much the next bunch of Hanois tried to stop them from losing their duels, the AI bots made more and more plays that managed to stop everything in their tracks as they all flew from their hoverboards and into the Data Storm, unknowingly, helping Varis' plan.
As then another set of Knights Of Hanoi appeared to duel the dueling AIs from SOL Tech, and this time, they were ready to defeat them. One had a Gagaga deck and the other Odd-Eyes Deck with them even defeating 3 of them, but they were quickly stopped by another set of dueling AI who now have recorded and realized every strategy of the new duelists and they countered every turn they managed to make, making them lose once more.
Not even the new set of Hanoi Knights were making any progress, even though they played the Cyber Dragon deck and the Elemental HERO deck, it couldn't defeat them, not at all as they all flew off their hoverboard.
As then the cycle continued: New sets of Knights Of Hanoi come out with new decks to try out, duel the dueling AIs, sometimes defeating them in a duel as they fly away into the Data Storm, as then new sets of dueling AI from SOL Tech arrive all with new strategies and have ways of countering the decks, dueling the Knights of Hanoi and defeating them, rinse and repeat.
Kitamura grinned ear to ear as his plan managed to work out! His new dueling AIs were going as they were planned, defeating almost everyone there without any trouble ever. The best part is that there were thousands of the dueling AIs that he made while there were a measly hundreds of Knights of Hanoi which he laughed at, knowing that he had the number advantage no matter what.
He knew that once all of these schmucks were defeated, Varis and his pals have to show up and duel them, but failing in the process, he laughed as he saw the numbers drop by every second for his opposing side.
"That's right, Varis! No matter how much your men struggle, my AIs will defeat every single one of them, defeating them, as they will know who is the boss! And once I defeat you, I will get to those three and after all set and done, I will get the promotion of a lifetime!" Kitamura thought with a grin on his face.
"That's right! Hundred of mansions, hundred of pricey cars, thousand statues in my name for the glory of me, Kitamura! What do you think of that, Varis?! This is my perfect victory! That's right! I WIN!" thought Kitamura as he laughed like a super villain as the workers sweatdropped when they heard him laughing.
Varis on the other hand didn't look worried, not one bit as he looked at the AI with nothing, but shock. Shock at how easy they look to defeat. He thought that the AIs did make good combos, but they mostly could be countered as some of the decks, the Slime deck and Tentacluster, look not very practical to use.
He knew that there were more AI bots than there were the current number of Knights of Hanoi, which were about 15, including Varis, Specter and the Commanders, so he thought that it was enough time to see their enemy, and it was time to defeat them right here and now.
Varis raised his hand and snapped his fingers as then three new portals in Link VRAINS appeared which three figures then appeared from.
People who were watching this event, Gore, Akira, Emma, our trio, Kolter, the blue haired boy and more, thought that SOL Tech might honestly accomplish their goal, but they were in a shock as they saw 3 new figures appear. One with bush green like hair, one with red hair and the other with a beard and blue hair.
They all decided that dueling 1 at a time would take too long, so they all decided to duel in groups, or more specifically, a 1 V an entire group of AIs. In most duels and fights, a one on many people is called jumping Jujutsu Kaisen style when one guy is getting his ass handed to him by a group of people with no breaks at all like he was Mahito against Yuuji and Nanami.
But if you are Madara Uchiha or Mereoleona Vermillion, what they are doing is called reverse jumping where one guy is beating the everlasting shit out of an entire group of people even though they have the number advantage.
This was the case for Genome, Baira and Faust where they are fighting in groups and they are defeating every single AI in seconds, and I do mean in seconds. The fact that they have been doing this, sometimes never losing a digit of their life points shows how skilled they are as duelists.
Kitamura widened his eyes as he saw, second by second, minute by minute, the number of the remaining AIs dropped and it was getting deadly and the scary part is that they were weaker than Varis.
"What the fuck?! Who are these people and where did they come from?!" yelled Kitamura as one of the employees looked at him as they yelled.
"Sir! These are the Knights of Hanoi's Commanders! The third highest ranking duelists of The Knights Of Hanoi!" yelled the employee as Kitamura's eyes widened when he heard that.
"WHAT?! The Commanders?! Get every single one of my AIs there right now! Make sure none of them win, you understand!? Or I am removing your lunch breaks right here and now!" he yelled as the workers of SOL Tech began typing as every single AI bot went after those three.
They arrive to see each other as they then turn around to see hundreds, upon hundreds of the dueling AIs going after them.
"So, it looks like we are outnumbered, hundreds to three." said Faust.
Baira grinned, "I like those odds."
"Whoever beats the least amount of AIs buys dinner tonight." said Genome as the other two Lieutenants turned to him.
"Oh you are so on." said Baira as Faust raised his duel disk arm as they all went towards the dueling AIs with determined looks on their faces.
It was very unclear what is going on at the current moment as it was very hard to even see what is even happening due to the amount of dueling AIs there, but it could be seen that most of the Commanders are defeating the AIs much to their shock.
After a minute or so of not seeing the action, the dueling AIs surrounded the Liuteneates making it seem that they have defeated them, but it was actually false as, then a massive explosion happened to reveal Genome's X-Krawler Qualiark, Baira's Dark Mummy Surgical Forceps and Faust's Worm Zero as all of the dueling AIs were flown back as they all landed on the Data Storm much to everyone's, sans Varis and Specter, shock.
Kitamura dropped to his knees as he realizes that even though they have defeated his AIs, they were still weak compared to Varis and he knows that it is almost impossible to defeat them.
Varis and Specter grinned as they saw their loyal members duel for them in such a fashion that it can't be really boring to watch.
Baira, Faust and Genome all stood there on their hoverboards as their monsters began to disappear. They stood in silence as Faust looked at them and so did the other two. "So… how many did you defeat? I defeated 74."
Genome grinned as he looked at his friend and comrade, "I defeated 86 AIs, how about you Baira?" Both of them looked at Baira who then smirked.
"81." she said as Faust dropped his head as both her and Genome laughed.
"Ra damn it." he said as he raised his head, "But I choose where we eat, okay?"
"Sure."
"Whatever you say." both of them said as all three of them disappeared.
The people watching the event were in shock the entire time. They were playing around?! Like it was a game?! That was just humiliating! That wasn't even close if they were making bets on where to eat dinner, how was that even possible. They just realized one thing.
If they were this strong… how strong is his right hand man and Varis? That was something that the trio + Flame thought.
Theodore had trouble with Varis holding back, and while he did get stronger with him getting more and more used to his new cards, he isn't sure that he could even match Varis i and probably, could win i 1.
Kiku looked at it with shock as she remembered when she had to face those robots as well, but there were 2 reasons why she should be shocked at the current moves. The first one was because the one they fought for the SOL Tech was obviously of weaker quality since it was a week before this and it is reasonable to assume that they have grown in strength. The second one was that they took them down in minutes. All at once, they took every single one of them in minutes and they destroyed every one of them in a short amount of time.
Flame was impressed with the quality of the strength of all of them and he realized something, it was somewhat of a symbol for the rest of the world to know. And that was that no matter what SOL Tech does, they will never succeed against the Knights of Hanoi which it made it look like that they were out of this war and it wasn't outlandish to even think about and that… they are next.
They had to get stronger, they need to find a way to get stronger, no matter wha-
Hold on, he had an idea. He remembered something. He remembered that most of the Ignis did the same thing as him with their Skill.
Creating a new one.
"I have an idea." said Flame as they all turned to the Fire Ignis.
"Uhm, what idea, Flame?" asked Kiku as the Fire Ignis turned to her.
"I have an idea on how to compete against the Knights of Hanoi and the possible way to get a Synchro monster." he said as their curiosity got the better of them.
"Really?! That's amazing to hear that! What is it?!" asked Seigen as Flame looked at the creation the Wind Ignis.
"Well, remember what I said that us Ignis have a genetic Skill for Link VRAINS?" he asked as Seigen and Theodore nodded while Kiku looked confused.
"Uh, what?" Kiku asked.
"Oh sorry, kind of forgot that you were in a coma during all of that," said Flame, "Well, here is the short version. Us Ignis all have a genetic Skill that we all have in common by the name of Storm Access, a Skill that allows the user to get a new Cyberse Link monster to the Extra Deck if your life points are lower than a 1000, but each Ignis could create a new Skill." he explained as Kiku nodded, understanding the effect of the Skill of Storm Access.
"Oh wow that is… really cool actually." she said as Flame nodded with her.
"I know, as you know that I created Burning Draw because it suits me the best while being fair, so I had an idea…" he said as they all leaned down at him, "I wanted to try… and make a new Skill."
Their eyes widened.
A new Skill?! Burning Draw was already busted, making Theodore draw an extra card at the very least, but the idea of creating a new Skill was just too good to pass up. There is one problem though.
You could only create new Skills if you have been given permission by SOL Tech and not even Seigen can bypass that.
"A new Skill?" asked Theodore as Flame nodded.
"That's right. Storm Access is a good Skill, but it won't create the best advantage and it only gives you Link monsters, so I thought of a way to make one specifically for the Salamangreats." he said as they gasped when they heard that. "A similar effect, but this time it could be for a Fusion, Synchro, XYZ or Link Salamangreat monster."
"That… sounds so cool!" Theodore yelled as the two were envious of Theodore's constant new power ups, but they had an idea.
"Yeah, the downside is that it will take me at least a month to create the new Skill." that was the downside? Alright, it wasn't a fast update, but the fact that he could potentially get new monsters was too good of an opportunity to pass up.
Just before Theodore could speak up, Kiku spoke, "Wait, I have an idea as well." All, but Seigen turned to her as he had a decent idea what she was going to ask.
"Oh? What is it?" asked Flame.
"Well, you said that all Ignis have 2 Skills, right?" Flame nodded at what Kiku said. "So, during the time you create Teddy's new Skill, if we duel the Knights or even possibly the Commanders, how about Seigen and I use Storm Access if you are with us?" she asked as everyone else was quiet about that.
That was genuinely a decent idea, that could really work, and it would help to create new monsters for everyone since Storm Access is a Skill that helps out the user by having a storm with the most accurate storm possible.
"That is great idea Kiku!" said Theodore as Kiku blushed when he said that.
"Oh stop, you are making me blush." she said as she touched her face as Flame nodded.
"Honestly? That is a great idea and I am shocked and disappointed in myself for not thinking about that idea, good one Kiku." he said as he turned to everyone, "It is settled then, if any of you are dueling the Knights of Hanoi, we are using Storm Access for any opportunity of getting a advantage." Flame said as all of them nodded to that.
They will make sure to make use of Storm Access.
After a few hours, in an orphanage that was popular for the popular Celebrity Duelist Gore, or more commonly known as George Gore, while the children were admiring the Gore as he brought the presents that he bought thanks to the money he gained from his most recent tournament that he won at around 11 PM, one boy by the name of Dan Yuta was looking at his hero with wide eyes with stars on them.
But then, his brown coloured older model duel disk began beeping as then he looked at it with confusion while the others are admiring their new dolls, Duel Monster cards or action figures.
As then a bright yellow light appeared as everyone had to cover their eyes from it, and then once the light faded, George saw Dan unconscious as his duel disk was beeping.
His eyes widened, "It can't be. No! I thought the Deleted was just a rumour! NO!" George ran towards Dan as he saw how almost dead he looked, but he wasn't as he checked his pulse.
It didn't stop him from being worried, "Dan? My little guy? My man? Are you okay?! Tell me!" he yelled as the other orphans surrounded as they looked at Dan and their hero while they were scared for their foster brother.
"Dan! Please wake up! Come on, please!" he yelled as he held Dan in his hands. He gritted his teeth.
He knew who was responsible for this, and he would make sure that the Knights of Hanoi pay.

There! Holy moly! That was a long chapter with no duel! I hope you guys enjoyed that! It was a nice change of pace and I have to admit it was fun to write this chapter making sure to make as many differences to the original canon as humanly possible.

Okay, about the whole SOL Tech vs KoH thing… I liked the original event and I thought it would be cool to add that in this rather than when Genome is defeated, but this time to show how powerful all of them are, and it was really fun to write that scene. I never thought I had to explain what jumping and reverse jumping means in this, but hey it was fun as hell. Also, Kitamura's last name is a reference to his Japanese Voice Actor aka Masayuki Kato.
Dan's last name is a combination of Yuno and Asta's names combined (I love Black Clover, sue me.) and next chapter we have Gore's duel against one of the Commanders and we finally will see his XYZ monster, and trust me, this isn't the last new made up Gouki monster.
Seigen and Kiku using Storm Access was actually on the spot decision I made when I was writing the last scene, and I thought, "Fuck it, if Soulburner could get all of this crazy shit, why can't Stormrider and Frostgirl?" and BOOM! We have this! I, for now, don't have the name or effects of the monsters, but trust me, I will make sure that I will make them cool as hell.
I am at around Chapter 352 of Black Clover and the Land Of The Sun arc was okay in my opinion and man Yosuga is complete CHAD! Love him, Ryuya and Ichika.
