George Gore's day was going horrible as he couldn't believe what he had to hear from the doctors from Den City. A few hours ago that was near midnight, after he won his most recent tournament, he went to the orphanage and used most of, if not, all of his money for the children to buy them new stuff for them to enjoy whether it was new card packs that they can play with, new action figures that they can also play with, a couple of CDs that they can watch new movies and more, as then a disaster struck in the orphanage.
He heard of the Deleted Virus a couple of times when he was at the tournament, but he never thought it was true, he thought it was only a silly little rumour, but he didn't think it was a silly one when he heard that they were targeting teenagers, but again, he just chalked it up to it being a rumour, but apparently?
It was real, so very real. And he had to experience it first hand towards one of the foster children in the orphanage as he was unconscious for more than it should be as he saw a bright yellow light, so bright that it was harder to not notice it, as then he saw Dan Yuta unconscious which he tried waking him up, but the more he didn't wake up…
… the more it scared him that he wouldn't ever wake up, as no matter how much he shook him, he wasn't waking up despite being alive as he did check his pulse, but he looked like he was half dead, which scared him and the foster kids to no end. He then knew who was responsible.
The ones that were targeting innocent people from the start, the people that wanted Soulburner's Ignis dead, the people that he knew that one of them was responsible for Frostgirl's coma and virus, the people that were a danger to everyone in Link Vrains, The Knights Of Hanoi.
He picked him up by his hands as he ordered Alfred to get his car ready and for the kids to wait in the orphanage as it was too late for them to be awake which admittedly was his fault, but he knew that they couldn't sleep because they were worried sick for their foster brother.
Alfred got into the car as fast as he could and went to the driver's seat as Gore was at the backseat still holding Dan in his seat, as they both got their seat belts ready and they began to drive towards the hospital as fast as they could while they still respected the rules of traffic since they didn't want to endanger anyone.
Once they got there, Gore sprinted out of his seat from the car and he ran up to the receptionist as he saw the kid in George's hands and realized that this was an emergency as he called several doctors ready.
As Dan got into an emergency room, Alfred tried to reassure George that everything will be alright, he knew that won't help him at all since he knew that he was worried sick for the little guy, as then they both saw 3 doctors coming towards him.
One was a man with green bush hair wearing large orange round glasses, one was a woman with red hair and orange highlights in them and finally, a man with two different shades of blue with a blue circle beard.
The green haired doctor said that like the others that fell victim to the Deleted, he was fine physically as there were no external damage, however the red haired woman said that like the others, they didn't know what was the cause of all of this and such there was no antidote for it she was afraid and the blue haired man said that he might, unfortunately, never wake up which destroyed George on almost every single way that it could.
Emotional, spiritual and mental way and it was telling of how he reacted. He tried to pursue them by giving them money so they could find an antidote, but they couldn't accept as no one in the entire hospital knew how to deal with this problem without an antidote.
George tried his hardest to argue with them, but he knew that it was a losing battle as he was escorted by Alfred as to not start any drama as he walked back to the car, as Alfred was saddened by the news, but he knew that it didn't compare to George's pain as he was quiet the entire time they were going to the orphanage to tell the news.
George's heart nearly dropped when he saw their reactions, which were cries. Cries of pain for their foster brother, as they couldn't help it, but reacted like that as George couldn't contain himself as he knew it was horrible to bottle up his feelings.
After an hour, still sad about what happened, he drove back to his warehouse where he lived as he did without saying anything, walked to his warehouse and landed on his bed, trying his hardest to get some sleep, but he couldn't, how could anyone for that matter?
He just heard that a kid that he was taking care of would never wake up ever again if they don't find an antidote. The little kid was his little man, his little brother, the guy he would always protect and take care of.
Dan looked at him like he was a superhero, a guy that he could trust with no worries in the little kid's mind, but now? He wasn't there at all, he couldn't think at all, he could only look at the roof the entire night, trying to think of what ifs and what he could've done if he was prepared.
It was a sleepless night for Gore as even though they were getting common these days, this was different, this was when you couldn't do anything, but think of someone you care about, and this is one of those days. The other days was to prepare for tournaments or trying to fix his deck, but now, he couldn't think jack.
Genuinely it was the worst night of his life and no one could blame him, because who would?
He stared at the roof, feeling the cold wind going all around, the ocean outside hitting the deck several times, crickets cricketing, some traffic behind his warehouse, but that is about it.
He couldn't do anything, but listen to those noises. He tried rolling over his bed to get some sleep, but nothing.
To his shock, he saw the light coming out of his window as he heard birds chirping.
He looked at his phone and saw the time 7: 12.
"It is morning already? Dang," he said as he sat on his bed.
What can he do at the current moment? To him? Nothing as he didn't have a clue what was going on and how he could do it, but then he remembered something. Something important.
It was sometime ago when he heard the news that Frostgirl was in a coma due to a Virus, and from what he could see, it was the same virus from before, and he saw on the TV, that the leader of the Knights Of Hanoi wanted Soulburner to duel him for the Ignis and if he won…
…he gets an antidote.
He smirked to himself, he thought that it has to relate to the Knights, how it can't be was the more important question.
Almost every bad thing that happened in Link VRAINS was because of the Knights of Hanoi and they had to have an antidote ready like they did for Frostgirl, but how could he get one was the more important question.
He can't just yell to the heavens to give them the antidote, that was extremely childish and impractical, so he thought of other ideas, which he did get a few.
The cage when he fought Soulburner would be a decent one as it was impossible to log out of it which could work really well, but knowing them it wouldn't work since they most likely have something of a program to log off.
He does have something that could honestly help him which is a massive bluff, but it could still work as he could create a fake name if he does lose the following duel, but still, he wouldn't let that happen.
He does have one more tactic he could use, and that is a one that he used to get to duel Soulburner, before the cage, and that is to use a costume for his real skin and act like he is someone else, which isn't hard since he did happen to be around Soulburner and his pals a few times, but still, he didn't know how to do it, but he knew a guy who could.
He got his phone and dialed up the one person that he knew that could help him, as he waited a few seconds as he then called, "Hello Gore, so why do I have the pleasure to talk to you?" asked the man on the phone.
"Hey, Akira, I need a favour and it will be cool if you helped me out in this," said Gore as the man on the phone looked at him, now known as Akira Zaizen.
"Really? Well, okay, what do you want me to do and why exactly?" he asked as Gore sighed.
"It is classified on why I need to do it, but I will say it here that… it is someone that I care about and would do anything to stop all harm on him," said George as Akira was quiet the entire time as his eyes slightly widened.
Someone that he cared about and would do anything to stop all harm on them? Sounds like something he would do for his sister. He smiled.
"Alright, I get it, you don't have to explain more about that, I will help you on whatever you want to do, so what is it?" asked Akira as George was quiet for a few seconds as he then looked at his phone.
"Remember that Knight Of Hanoi skin you made me when I had to hunt down Soulburner for his AI?" he asked as Akira sighed, as he regretted big time for what he did against those kids.
"Yeah, I do, and what about it?" he asked.
"Well, I was wondering if you would do it, but with Soulburner? I know that would be tough to create, but I am just asking if that is cool with you." asked George as Akira thought about it and knew that it would be difficult for him to do such a thing, but still, out of respect, he must do it.
"Well, knowing how complicated that design is, it would most likely take me this weekend to finish it, so I will send it to your email once I am finished. Is that all right with you?" asked Akira as George nodded.
"Yes! It is fine with me. Take your time man, cause I need to get ready." he said as he looked at his deck at his desk.
Akira nodded, "Alright. well take care Gore because something tells me that you will need it." he said.
"Thanks, and take care as well."
With Varis
Varis didn't think it was possible, but he realized what a massive mistake he made and it was that because of the fact that they targeted a child, a goddamn child to get to Soulburner and his friends.
He gripped his hands as he wanted to tell the truth that he knew who he was, but that would also be at the risk of betraying his father's trust, which even with all of the problems that man caused, was still important to him.
Still, if he needed to complete the Tower Of Hanoi, he needed every piece of data that was important to him.
As then, Genome, Baira, Faust and Specter appeared behind him, "Master Varis, we heard you want us here, so what request do we need to fulfill?" asked Faust as he bowed his head with respect.
"It is a simple one and it is something I thought would be useful against our battle against one of the three people that we are up against," said Varis as they understood who he was talking about: Soulburner, Frostgirl and Stormrider.
"I understand, but what are you suggesting? Do we rethink our decks, rebuild them or change strategy?" asked Specter as Varis shook his head.
"No, you don't have to do anything of that sort, I do however have something else in my mind which is to add one card in all of your decks," he said as then 4 copies appeared of one single card and gave it to them.
All of them caught the card with ease as they then looked at it and slightly widened their eyes at the rather unusual card that they had seen.
"Soul Release?" wondered to herself Baira, as she looked at the Leader Of The Hanoi, "My apologies, but how would this card help us in the duel?"
"There is no need to apologize, Baira, as I will explain why for three simple reasons." He pushed his hand forward as his index finger went up, "One: All 3 of them able to use the graveyard to their situation as well having effects during it like protection from battle." he then raised his middle finger, "Two: It is also a resource and like what most decks are, they are a second hand, so it would be wise to target some of their best cards, and finally…"
He raised his ring finger, "Three: Due to the virus thanks to Frostgirl's coma, her card was able to turn her into a different person, but after that virus was cured, scans have shown several times that she still has that card in her possession, so it would be wise to banish it as soon as humanly possible if it is in the graveyard."
All of them nodded as they took the card, "Understood Master Varis as we will make sure not to let you down in any form," said Genome as then he took the card that was in his hands and placed it on his duel disk as it collected it as data as did everyone else.
Now, the Leader, Right Hand and the 3 Commanders have excellent ways of negating the trio's plays to no ends as Varis then looked over to his loyal members, "Also, make sure to give every other Knight of Hanoi that are still out there the same card, understood?"
"Understood!" all four of them yelled out at the same time as Varis nodded with a small smile on his face. All of them disappeared at the same time as Varis thought it would be best to look over his deck for his future confrontation of the 3 and the Ignis.
INTRO!

We see six different Ignis flying around the Cyberse, all with their accompanying archetypes, with Flame escaping the Cyberse in the hands of Theodore Hamilton as a second later, his appearance changed that of Soulburner as he began walking slowly with a determined look on his face. As then a Duel Monsters card appeared on the screen which was flipped over to reveal the words, "Bring The Heat, Soulburner!"
Grey words can't make anything happen
We then see Theodore facing backwards to a boy with silver hair and blue eyes, but was 2 years older than him as they both raised their heads, as they turned to Soulburner and Varis as they turned around as Salamangreat Heatleo and Borreload Dragon striked each other at the same time.
I know, yeah I know
Soulburner covered his face from the dust of the explosion as Varis was floating above him as he went flying on his duel board.
Wishing to fly freely across the sky
Soulburner then began to chase him with a duel board of his own with a determined face.

Once he got close, he somehow managed to dodge an attack from Specter's Sunavalon monsters as the Liutenents of the Hanoi were along with him.

As soon as they appeared, Frostgirl, Stormrider and the Gore appeared with him to assist him in this match as Soulburner grinned ear to ear as they each faced one of the Knights of Hanoi, with Gore fighting Genome with his Gouki Suprex and Riscorpio as Genome had X-Krawler Neurogos, Frostgirl having out her Nekroz Of Trishula on the field while Baira had her Dark Mummy Surgical Forceps, Stormrider with his Cerulean Sacred Phoenix Of Nephthys against Faust's Worm Zero as Soulburner passed Specter as his scarf hit the screen as a new transition was made.
To faraway future, I burst out running
We then see Soulburner flying on a duel board as then Stormrider and Frostgirl were near them, both with grins on their faces as Frostgirl winked Soulburner whose face flushed red for some time as then Flame appeared as he began flying with fire on his feet.
Go beyond even the unseen fears
Gore was then seen on a ring with his new Gouki XYZ monster with the kids looking excited with stars in their faces as he left out a dramatic roar for the audience.
The vision I had, so I can be myself
Akira was then seen with a determined face as he held a picture of his younger sister when she was younger as he then gritted his teeth. He looked down as tears went down his face as he remembered their past.

Ghost Gal then appeared with a saddened face as she saw Akira, as then the man raised walked towards the data bank of SOL Tech.

He then turned around as he saw Soulburner coming near them.

Soulburner then summoned out Salamangreat Miragestellio and Pyro Phoenix as Akira summoned out Tindangle Acute Cerberus as the two monsters clashed.

While the battle was commencing, Frostgirl watched the duel with a concerned face, but Stormrider's face wasn't shown as well as tears went down his face.
I call this a miracle.
We then see Kiku and Theodore with their arms opened towards Seigen as Flame was carrying the same motion as he had tears in his eyes as he then smiled as he fell to their embrace. Then a new screen was made as Theodore, Flame, Kiku and Seigen were smiling at the screen with Varis looking at them with his back turned against them with a wicked smile on his face.
BRING THE HEAT, SOULBURNER! - THE KNIGHTS OF HANOI!

It was currently Monday and it was going… well? They weren't quite sure. George woke up from a hard sleep as it was the first time he slept in 3 days that was over 5 hours as he was up the entire time, trying to fix and make the best possible deck that he could ever make which to him, was extremely important for Dan.
He saw the clock and saw that it was 10:41, which was not bad compared to other times he slept too long as he knew that Alfread wasn't here at the time, so he decided to make himself some eggs for breakfast with some jam on the side.
After he was done, he placed them on his table with a glass of orange juice as then he saw a notification on his phone from Akira on his email, telling him to use it wisely as it was a one to one reincarnation of Soulburner's costume as Gore smiled to himself, this is going better than he thought it would and he smiled.
He was ready.
To save Dan.
Now it was Kiku, Seigen, Theodore and Flame's perspective which was nothing too big to note.
They went to school, hung out, were in some lectures by teachers, had to endure the pain that is socializing for Seigen, Theodore struggled alot when it comes to mathematics and he couldn't cheat out anyone because Flame was there watching him and he knew that he cheated on any type of test he would be a dead man walking since doing that in front of him is like you slapped him really hard.
Kiku didn't struggle with anything actually, in fact, she was ecstatic because of the new news for a certain archetype that she plays, The Ice Barriers, which made Seigen nearly flip the table over from the news.
First Theodore gets this all cool new Salamangreat cards, Kiku gets to use the Nekroz, a possible Cyberse monster and now this?!
The universe might honestly love playing this man and his feelings as Kiku showed it to everyone and she might've or might not have showed off to her best friend while her boyfriend was impressed.
There were 4 new cards, 3 of them being monsters and the other one being a Trap by the name of Frozen Domains Leading to The Ice Barrier which was a Continuous Trap Card that in her opinion was pretty decent. 1 of the 3 new monsters was a Synchro monster by the name of Lancea, Dragonic Ancestor of the Ice Spirit Mountain which had a sick effect that she would love to try out.
The other two were Tuners, one being Georgius, Swordman of the Ice Barrier and the other Mirror Magic Master Of The Ice Barrier which both were monsters that were really well made as they are also pretty easy to summon out.
Which is why she is showing it off towards her best friend while her boyfriend was drinking some apple juice. "Hey, hey Seigen, look over here, look what I have." she said with a teasing voice as Seigen sighed as he knew that it would be better to just respond rather than her keep being like this.
For his mental health, "What is it Kiku?" he asked with a very annoyed tone.
"Look~. New cards for my deck." she said with a shit eating grin as Theodore chuckled as Seigen breathed in and out.
"How interesting." he said as he tried his hardest not to react to her as he knew that she would prioritize his reaction.
"I am so sorry that you don't have that much new cards for your deck, but hey you might get monsters like these~," she said as she showed her new cards as Seigen got a couple of tic marks around his forehead.
"Thanks for that," he said as he was close to blowing up which he doesn't want to give her the satisfaction of.
"Ahh come on, Seigen, you don't have to hide your anger, it is all right that you feel it," Seigen's nose then began to twitch.
"Look Kiku, I am not afraid to rough up a lad-" Seigen then heard knuckles being cracked as he turned to his best friend looking at him with an amused look from what he heard.
"Can you repeat that? I didn't think I listened properly the first time." said Theodore as Seigen began to sweat, hard.
"I meeeeeeaaaaaaaaan, Kiku I am not afraid to not speak to you for a very long time," he said as he was afraid to get beaten up by his best friend again, so he though it would save him, as it did as the two laughed at that.
"Wow, how cruel." laughed Kiku.
"How can you be like that?" smiled Theodore as Seigen looked at the window and thought it would be a good idea to jump out of it.
"I hate you guys so much." he said as he crossed his arms, as they both laughed again.
"Love you too." they both said at the same time.
After a few hours later of them listening to the teacher and some of the classes later, as they were at the new place they are now hanging out which was Seigen's apartment which was better so they don't get interrupted while Seigen was hacking and Flame could be around the people he cared about the most.
He was drinking his 0.5 liter of Hell as they did critisize him of that, but he said it was better that he drinks that rather than the 0,25 liters that barely worked with him, as Kiku was on her phone reading the Hashira Training arc from Demon Slayer while Theodore was rewatching Black Clover. Flame was looking over at Kiku's phone the entire time as he was interested how all of it would go after the decent, but not as good as the previous season, Season 3 of Demon Slayer and so far he was enjoying it.
Seigen was trying his absolute best to get some data from the hospital, but nothing he could do was something he could make it as he tried everything, but still nothing to be made as it was nearly impossible, but he did notice a notification on his smart watch.
"What the hell?" Seigen looked over to Theodore who watched an episode of Yami squeezing the life out of Asta when they first met and then back at his smartwatch, "Soulburner asking for a duel against the Knights of Hanoi?"
"What?" Theodore turned to his best friend.
"Huh?"
"Pardon?" asked Kiku and Flame as they turned their attention from when Gyomei smacked Muzan's head to Seigen.
He turned to his wrist towards everyone as they read that on Link VRAINS, Soulburner was asking for a duel.
"How? I am right here?" asked Theodore as Kiku nodded.
"Yeah, not to mention you are not even logged in yet." she said.
Flame then thought about it and then he realized a possible conclusion, "What if that is someone pretending to be you?" that wasn't a bad idea. Heck that actually did happen the day after he first appeared in Link VRAINS, so that could be a possibility.
"Yeah, most likely." Seigen turned to Theodore, "Turn to the other channel."
"But I was about to see the Captains again."
"Turn to the other channel."
"Ugh, fine." he said as he did so, surprisingly not accidentally destroying like the last 6 times as they saw footage of a Soulburner waving his arms like he just didn't care, yelling at the top of his lungs for a duel against the Knights of Hanoi.
There was actually no difference compared to the others as it actually did look real as it did have a lot of features that if you thought it was the actual Soulburner, no one would actually judge you since it did look like him as even the duel disk was there, but Flame didn't pop off from his duel disk which was worrying, but not the worst thing in the world, but there is something about him that was different.
The way he was acting was extremely off, "YOOOO! The Knights! Come and get me, losers! I got you! You won't even feel the smackdown that I am about to give you!" the fake Soulburner yelled as he strolled over the rooftop.
Varis was watching this with Specter and the Commanders behind him as all of them had confused looks on their faces, trying their best to find if this is the real Soulburner or an imposter.
"Master, should we do something?" asked Baira as Varis shook his head.
"No, we shouldn't. It is clearly an imposter that took the skin off Soulburner that wants nothing more than our attention, why else would he be there without Frostgirl or Stormrider beside him?" He asked a very good question as they thought that he was correct about this as they looked at the clear imposter.
Even the quartet looked at the imposter with unimpressed looks.
"I don't act like that at all."
"So out of character, it is unbelievable."
"I think a child could do a better impression."
"He even lacks the voice mannerisms and you wouldn't call someone a loser like that." said Theodore, Kiku, Seigen and Flame one after the other.
The fake Soulburner then jumped onto his hoverboard as he then smacked his bottom as he yelled, "COME AND CATCH ME!" while holding out his tongue and holding up an L symbol with his hands as he flew off.
Everyone was silent.
"Okay, I would totally do that."
"10 out of 10 impression."
"That was extremely convincing."
"I am starting to think that you are the imposter, Theodore, and not him." said Theodore, Kiku, Seigen and Flame all at the same time.
Even the Knights of Hanoi were also silent about this.
"..." Varis did not know how to think about this as he narrowed his eyes, "I don't know if that is actually Soulburner or not since that was an act he would do." he said, "One of you go to him and duel him."
"On it, Master Varis." said Genome as he disappeared as the rest continued to watch the fake(?) Soulburner.
Once Genome appeared on the same server with fake(?) Soulburner, he jumped directly towards him as he spawned in an orange and green hoverboard under him.
"Stop right there, Soulburner," the Soulburner turned around to see Genome coming towards him, "I, Genome of the Knights of Hanoi, will defeat you and get your Ig-" he then noticed something different about this Soulburner, and mainly, his DNA didn't match at all.
He narrowed his eyes as he remembered that DNA structure, "Wait, you are not Soulburner at all," he said as the Soulburner's eyes widened, "Actually, you are The Gore, aren't you? Your and his DNA don't have the slightest connection at all! So show yourself!"
The Soulburner sighed, "Looks like the jig is up." he said as then his real costume showed itself as everyone were in shock to see the actual champion of Link VRAINS, Gore showing up.
"WHAT THE WHAT?!" yelled Theodore as they were shocked to see him impersonating him in Link VRAINS.
"I am more confused on why you would do such a thing. I mean, why would you be someone that you aren't in the slightest? For attention? Or was it for a different reason?" Genome asked him a good question as the ones watching this interaction leaned in.
Gore sighed, "Well, it is a simple reason, and it is because you took something precious to me! Someone special to me! And I am going to fight you to get that back!" he yelled as Genome raised an eyebrow.
"I am sorry, but you have to be more specific than that, because you don't know how little that narrows it down." said Genome as Gore gritted his teeth.
"One of the kids at the orphanage!" their eyes have widened as Gore pointed his fingers, "And I know that you are responsible about this and because of the Deleted, so I will duel you for an antidote!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as Genome snorted.
"Sorry, but I am afraid that I have to deny that request, my good ol' friend, because your DNA isn't suitable to even give me a sweat." he said as he raised his hand towards his duel disk, but Gore had one more idea ready.
"But what about a proposition?!" he yelled out as he smirked as he had a plan about this.
Genome looked at him, "Go on." he said with an interested look on his face.
"If I win, you get me that antidote and tell me who is responsible for all of The Deleted, but if you win… you will get Soulburner's true identity." he said with a smirk as their eyes widened from that situation as their eyes widened.
"He will WHAT?!" yelled Flame in complete shock which no one blamed as Theodore gaped like a fish.
Genome's eyes widened in pure glee, "AHA! That is a deal, Gore! You will get one duel from me! Even though you are destined to lose thanks to your DNA."
"The Gore doesn't care about no DNA!" Gore yelled in defiance as everyone looked at the duel, some both wishing that Gore wins but at the same time, they wished to know Soulburner's true identity.
"Gore you better win this, or I swear." said Theodore as he cracked his knuckles.
Both of them yelled at the same time, "DUEL!"

"I'll go first!" yelled Genome as he swiped his hand as he saw the cards in his hands and saw the deck that he began playing rather recently, as his previous deck was that of Helixx, but this one is a different type of deck that he can't wait to show off, but they are some disadvantages.
"I will end my turn after I set one monster face down and another card face down," he said as one card was set vertically while the other was set horizontally as the latter disappeared quickly.
"Wait, setting a monster face down?" asked Seigen as he sweatdropped.
"I am getting major Akira flashbacks." said Theodore as Kiku nodded at her boyfriend.
"Same here, I just hope it doesn't end like the last time." she said as all of them nodded to that.

Turn 2. Gore - 4000 lp - 4 cards
"If that is all that you can do, then let me show you one big smack down that the Gore will deliver you as you will be on the ground after my monsters suplex you! I draw!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as he drew the top card of his deck as he looked at it. He nodded as he swiped his hand to reveal his hand.
It was actually a pretty decent hand as he had a decent idea for a turn right about now, and he even upgraded his play style for some defensive maneuvers, which knowing that he was someone that he can't at all underestimate, was something that was good to have.
"Time for the start of this beating of yours as here comes the start of this beatdown, my Gouki Suprex!" as then a wrestler appeared on his side of the field as the monster that had blue scales around the head and skin around his legs with yellow stripes along his thighs, as he had an impressive build, as he had teeth fangs all over his hands as around the knuckles there were massive claws as he had fur at the back, as he had a long blue tail. Gouki Tagpartner!" as then on his side of the field appeared what looked like an ox, as he had a circle white haired beard, as he had tan skin, as he wore an armour that was purple as it had yellow lining, leather skin beneath the skin, horns on his shoulders as he had blue coloured armour on the left side and red coloured armour on the right side.

"Of course you would do that, as you did that combo several times before and like your DNA, it won't change!" yelled Genome with a sick smirk on his face as Gore smirked as well.
"Maybe, but I will do something different! Like I will reveal my Gouki Moonsault from my hand and target my Gouki Suprex," he said as then his Gouki Suprex disappeared from his field, "So I can return that Gouki monster and I can special summon my Gouki Moonsault!"
As then a monster that resembled that of a rabbit appeared on the field as it had a very impressive build, as there were small yellow coloured Moons around his chest and forehead, as it had gray skin, as he had purple coloured suit around his hands, legs, thighs and chest while the other parts was purple.

"Now, it is time for me to mash up my circuit!" he yelled as then from his hands appeared a circuit that would help him in this match against Genome, "The Summoning Conditions are two Gouki monsters, so I set my Gouki Moonsault and Tagpartner in the Link Arrows!" he yelled as both of his monsters flew towards the circuit, one in the middle and the other at the bottom ones.
"I Link Summon! Link-2, Gouki Jet Ogre!" as then from the circuit appeared a monster that was used against Soulburner. It was a monster that had a massive jetpack flying around as he had two metal legs as he had spikes around the monster, as his skin was dark blue with a decent build, as he wore a thin sword with a golden sheet as he had a helmet that had red fur around it as it look like a lizard, with yellow stripes all around his thighs.

"The effect of Gouki Tagpartner now activates! If he was used as a Link Material for a Gouki Link Monster, my Gouki Jet Ogre gains a total of 1000 attack points!" he yelled as his Jet Ogre glew red for a bit.
Gouki Jet Ogre: 2000 - 3000 attack points
"Tch, what good will do that to you if your monster can't deal me damage because my monster is in defense mode!" Genome yelled as Gore smirked at him.
"That is a good question bob, but you forget one thing! I have a way around it to deal you massive amounts of damage! I activate Gouki Roar!" he yelled as the card appeared on his side of the field as a Countinuous Spell card.
"But I won't use its effect, because I activate my Gouki Jet Ogre's effect! By tributing one Gouki card, like my Gouki Roar, all of your monsters are switched to face up attack mode!" he yelled as Jet Ogre threw his sword directly towards the Spell card as he then turned around to Genome's lone set monster and roared, as then Genome's monster revealed itself.
It was a monster with dark brown metallic skin as it had three sets of wings as each of the wings had three blades that were sharp, as at the start of the wings were red orbs with around the non metal parts of the wings were red codes as the lone head had a red orb acting like an eye.

"Krawlers?" asked Theodore, "What kind of deck is that?" he asked as they all shook their shoulders as Flame looked at that monster, but for some reason it felt similar.
Varis, Specter, Baira and Faust looked onwards and smirked as they saw Gore falling into his trap, as they knew how powerful the Krawler archetype was.
The Chess Pieces of SOL were watching this with interest in their mind as they saw how resilient they were, especially the Knights of Hanoi as even though they hadn't seen their reaction on their faces, King was rather annoyed and angered by him.
"King, looks like he has shown his true deck this time." said Bishop as Knight, Rook and Queen looked at King as they knew the story between Genome and King.
"That's right, and looks like my little brother isn't holding back anymore." said King with clear anger in his voice when he chose the Knights of Hanoi over his own family. But he should've known that would happen.
Afterall, Krawlers were the biggest enemies to the World Legacies.
"What is that little bug going to do to me?" asked Gore as Genome smirked at him.
"Oh nothing much to annoy you, but enough for me to add a Kralwer monster from my deck to my hand when he is flipped!" he yelled as a card appeared on the top of his duel disk as he then took it.
"That's all? Well, before I start the battle, I will set a card," he said as a card was then set vertically behind his Jet Ogre, "Now then… Battle! Gouki Jet Ogre will flame your bug with Jet Burn!" Gouki Jet Ogre turned around as from the jetpack appeared blue flames that went towards the bug as it was burned to a crisp as Genome didn't flinch at that.

"With that, I end my turn!" yelled Gore as he was glad for what he did at the current turn, but he knew that he can't let his guard down for even a moment.

Turn 3. Genome - 1900 lp - 3 cards
A card appeared on the top of his duel disk as he drew it, "My turn, I draw!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck and looked at it. He smirked like a teen when he got an answer right in a hard question, "Looks like I will be sending your pathetic monster and your life points down with them."
"Yeah right! I would believe that you would cut your hair with those massive scissors that you use to cut bushes rather than that!" yelled Gore as Genome snorted.
"Like I would be afraid of 5 dollar insults like that, and second of all, those are called pruners." he said as Gore looked at him wondering how he knew that, but he didn't get to question anything as Genome swiped to reveal his hand as he picked a card from his hand, "I will set one card face down."
A card was set horizontally.
"Oh no."
"Not again."
"This is going horribly."
"Oh byte." they knew exactly what was going to happen.
A card then appeared on his field, "I then activate my Spell, Book of Taiyou!" the card began to glow as well as his lone set card, "I can flip a face down Defense position monster into face up attack mode!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as then his monster revealed itself to everyone in the duel.
As then on his field appeared a small insect that was in the shape of an O, as there were red codes around the small bug, as it had small red arms that were like wires, as the wings were separated into two groups as it had a chain like tail, as the colouring scheme was beige as the front eye was red.

Genome then shoved his arm forward, "His flip effect activates! When he is flipped over, I get to special summon 1 Krawler monster from my hand or graveyard in face up attack mode or face down Defense mode," a card popped out of his duel disk as he then took it, "So I will now special summon my Krawler Receptor in attack mode!"
As then on his field appeared a new monster which was the monster that Gore destroyed a turn ago.

"Time for me to use up my powerful DNA to create one more powerful DNA monster! I dissect my circuit!" he yelled as then from his hands appeared data which then in turn created a circuit. "The Summoning Conditions are 2 Insect monsters, so I set my Krawler Receptor and my Krawler Glial in the Link Arrows!" he yelled as his two monsters flew to the circuit, targeting two Link Arrows in the middle.
"Come out, the monster that hunts down the Legacies of the World, as it will show just how great the DNA it has! I Link Summon! Link-2, X-Krawler Neurogos!" he yelled as then a new machine of destruction appeared on the field, as it was like if a leviathan and a spider combined as the bottom part was that of a long tail that were like orbs which were purple coloured as in between them were red codes, as the front part were 4 sets of legs that were golden coloured, red coded and red orbed and purple, with the main part being that of a red eye.

"Dang! I don't think a can of bug spray can take down that insect!" yelled at the top of his lungs Gore as he widened his eyes as Genome grinned ear to ear.
"That's right you nincompoop, as no matter what you do, you will never defeat me as my DNA is far superior than yours, so it won't change at all!" Genome laughed as Gore narrowed his eyes.
"That monster doesn't have enough attack points to take down my Gouki Jet Ogre, but it must mean that it has a…" thought to himself Gore as then his set card revealed itself, "I activate my Trap! Expendable Dai!" Genome stopped laughing as he saw the card that Gore just played.
"This Trap will make me tribute one of my pals to the graveyard," as then his Gouki Jet Ogre disappeared into data as it went towards his Trap card, as then it fired the powerful beam made out of purple energy, "So I can destroy your monster!" it then pierced straight through Neurogos as it then exploded, which Genome grinned at.
"Not to mention I can draw 1 card from my deck." he said as he drew the top card of his deck as Genome laughed. "What's so funny, punk?!"
"Oh nothing, but you actually helped me in this match because if my X-Krawler Neurogos was destroyed thanks to a card effect, I get to special summon two Krawler monsters in face down defense position from my graveyard!" two cards appeared from his duel disk as he took them and immediately set them, "I will set my Krawler Receptor and Glial in face down defense position!"
Two cards were set horizontally as Gore knew that one of them made him add a card while the other made him special summon a card in defense mode, but he didn't knew which ones which.
"That will end my turn." said Genome.

Turn 4. Gore - 4000 lp - 2 cards
"You might have more monsters than the Gore, but let me tell ya' that the Gore is letting you through! I draw!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck and looked at it, "I play my Spell card, Card Of Demise! I can draw until I have 5 cards in my hand!" he yelled as he drew the 3 cards that appeared on the top of his deck.
He swiped his hand and saw the best possible combo he could ever have in this current moment as he had enough monsters to go into a new monster that he has yet to summon, as he picked one of his cards.
"If I control no monsters on my side of the field, I can reveal my Gouki Ringtrainer from my hand, and then target 1 Gouki Link Monster in my graveyard," a card appeared on his duel disk as he then took it, "So I can special summon both of them, but Gouki Jet Ogre loses 500 attack points."
On his field appeared Gouki Jet Ogre, but this time slightly weaker, as the new Gouki monster was a monster with light blue skin, as he wore a purple jacket that also works like a cape, with green gauntlets with shoulder pads, as he wore a helmet with a red vizor, blue horns, black pants, black fingerless gloves and a wooden sword.

Gore then began to chant, "Come to the stage, the warrior whose fighting style is different from the rest, as he shows how cutting he can be! I Link Summon! Link-3, Gouki The Blade Ogre!" As then on his field appeared a new monster that no one has seen before, as the monster was an ogre whose skin was black with lizard like marking around his thighs and biceps with a red X scar on his chest as he wore a red cape, as the armour around his shoulders, hands and legs was blue with white lining as he wielded a blue double edged sword.

"Woah! That monster is so cool!" yelled Theodore in shock as he was impressed immensely by Gore's newest monster. The rest nodded along to that.
"I can see why you think you have changed, but still, same moves as before as you did a close combo like that with your duel against Soulburner." said Genome with a small smirk, "Nothing about you has changed fully, like your DNA."
"Well, you might be correct about that, but who said that newer is always better?! Because The Gore is mixing new and old styles together! As Jet Ogre makes it so all of my current Gouki monsters gain 500 attack points!" he yelled as his Blade Ogre began glowing red for a bit.
Gouki The Blade Ogre: 2400 - 2900 attack points
"That is not all! I summon my tag partner, my Gouki Suprex!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as then the first monster he summoned of this duel appeared once more as it roared in power.

Gore then thrusted his arm forward as he yelled at the top of his lungs, "With him summoned on the playing field, I will now be able to summon my other Gouki in my hand, like my Gouki Headbatt!"
As then on his field appeared a new monster. It was a monster that was a purple vampire that had an impressive build with light purple skin, as he had a bit of red around his hands, biceps and pecs as his chest was purple, wearing a golden belt with black pants with yellow eyes.

"That is far from done! My Blade Ogre gains 300 attack points for every monster that it is pointing towards, and since two of my monsters are in his Link Arrows, he gains 600 attack points!" he yelled as the monster glew red as he swung his blade around, ready to strike at any moment.

"I will set one card face down," he said as a card was then set vertically behind his three Gouki monsters, "Now… Battle! Gouki Suprex attacks that card to my left with Prehistoric Suplex!" he yelled as Suprex charged at the monster at his left as the monster revealed itself to be…
(Krawler Receptor: Level 2 - Flip - Earth Insect - Attack: 900. Defense: 1200.)
"When my Krawler Receptor is flipped, I get to add one Krawler monster from my deck!" Genome yelled as he then took the card that appeared at the top of his deck.
"It doesn't matter since my Gouki Suprex will Suplex that bug!" As what Gore said, it was true as the monster then ran around as Receptor tried to see where it was going, but it was too late to spot him, as it felt Suprex's arms wrapped around him, as it was lifted up in the air as Suprex delivered a German Suplex, destroying it.
Gore then remembered the other having 1500 defense, so it would be unwise to use Headbatt to attack as it would be foolish to do so, so he opted to use his Link Monster, "Time for my Blade Ogre to swung his swords into action, attack that final set card with Zetten!" he yelled as people thought magic was around the sword's sharp end was doubled as the Gouki monster charged directly towards the lone set monster as the monster revealed it to be…
(Krawler Glial: Level 2 - Flip - Earth Insect - Attack: 700. Defense: 1500.)
The monster tried attacking back, but so far it couldn't do anything, other than making Genome yelling, "When this card is flipped, I get to special summon a monster from my hand in face down defense mode!" a card was then set horizontally.
"Like that would help you! My monster slashes you up to pieces!" he yelled as the monster continued to run towards the newly revealed monster as it raised its blade and then slashed it with a fast motion, but he wasn't done yet, as he used the different side of the sword to cut it down vertically as it then exploded.
"I will then activate my Blade Ogre's effect! By sacrificing Headbatt, he can attack once more!" he yelled out as his Headbatt disappeared into data as his monster swung his sword all over the place.
Gouki The Blade Ogre: 3500 - 3200 attack points
A card appeared on the top of Gore's deck as he took it, "Once Headbatt is all tapped out, I get to add one Gouki card from my deck!" he said.
"Battle! Gouki The Blade Ogre will attack your face down monster with Zetten!" he yelled as then his monster readied his literal double edge sword as he then ran at super sonic speeds, ready to slice and dice any monster that Genome has, but the monster that was revealed would even shock Varis at the sheer size of it.
It was a massive orb made out of pure metal as it was round as the entire planet that was eclipsing Gore and his Gouki monsters, as it was like a spider with it having 8 mechanical legs all around the monster as the outer shell was golden yellow as the front there were red orbs over it.
"I think not! Meet my DNA's perfect defense! Deus X-Krawler!" yelled Genome with a crazed expression.
(Deus X-Krawler: Level 9 - Earth Insect - Attack: 2000. Defense: 3000.)
"So, it seems that Genome is going all out against him," Faust narrowed his eyes.
"Exactly, and if everything goes through, it is safe to say that Soulburner's identity will be revealed to us." said Baira as Specter nodded as Varis stayed quiet.
"When my Deus X-Krawler is flipped while it is in the Monster Zone, all of your monsters lose their effects!" yelled Genome as Gore gasped.
"Say WHAT?!" Gore saw when Blade Ogre charged directly towards Deus X-Krawler, the power of the sword was still there, but everyone could tell that it felt like the strike became weaker in such a quick time.

"Damn it." cursed under his breath as he knew he had nothing else to do, "I end my turn." he said.
Turn 5. Genome - 1900 lp - 2 cards
"Now, it is my turn! I draw!" he yelled as the top card appeared on his duel disk to which he drew it. He looked at it and grinned. "This turn, I will show you the difference between my and your DNA! I activate Pot Of Greed!" the legendary pot appeared on his field, "With this I can draw 2 cards!" he drew the two cards from his deck.
A card appeared in his hands as he then showed it to everyone, "I now activate the effect of my Krawler Soma! I target one Krawler monster on my field, I get to special summon it and that monster switches to facedown Defense mode!" he yelled as then the card disappeared as Deus X-Krawler then turned into a horizontally set card as then a new monster appears on the field.
It was more of a mech from an anime rather than one of the other Krawler monsters he summoned, as it was more of a slim monster with golden and silver colouring that had spears for arms, 3 long whips, two new mechanical arms with shining blue orbs and blue lining.

"Now then, reverse card open!" his set card was then revealed as they saw a weird spaceship in the image as their eyes slightly widened when they saw that image, "My Continuous Trap Crusadia Krawler has an effect where it can special summon itself as an Effect Monster! So come out!"
From the trap card popped out a new monster, as it was a spider that was blue orbs all around the legs and base, as its colouring scheme was golden, but it wasn't as big as the others, rather, it went up to Genome's knees.

"A Trap monster?!" yelled Kiku in surprise.
"Well this just got worse," said Seigen.
As if Genome could hear those two, he smirked devilishly towards Gore which, normally would freak him out to no end, "Now, here is only a part of the dissection I going to build upon you! I dissect my circuit!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as from his hands appeared data that quickly made a circuit.
"The Summoning Conditions are 2 Krawler monsters, so I set my Crusadia and Soma in the Link Arrows!" he roared with a devilish look on his face as he then began to chant, "Come along the spider of the powerful DNA, as the World will shape in your Legacy! I Link Summon! Link-2, X-Krawler Qualiark!"
As then on his field appeared a monster that would give anyone with arachnophobia a heart attack, as it was a monster that was like a spider, but also a machine, as the it has several claws around the monster, 8 legs, a net beside him as the colouring scheme that was purple, red and gold. It was in Genome's Extra Monster Zone.

"Where is my flyswatter when I need one?!" yelled Gore as he took a couple of steps backwards.
"Oh ho ho, not so confident are we now, Gore? Well, this will go even worse for you my dear friend! As I now set my monster," a card was set down horizontally, but then a Continuous Spell card that had the image of X-Krawler Qualiark, X-Krawler Neurogous and X-Krawler Synaphsis hunting down Ib, Auram and Ningirsu. "I activate my Continuous Spell card, Krawler Domination!"
"That card seems rather… interesting with a lot of hidden power behind it." said Flame as the rest nodded as their eyes were glued to the duel that they were currently watching.
"This card has so many effects to count, so let's go over the first one! My Krawler monsters can not be destroyed by battle or by card effects, not to mention they can't be targeted!" Gore looked at him with focused eyes, "The third one makes it so that your Link monsters can not attack at all!"
"SAY WHAT?!" yelled everyone that were watching this duel, except for the remaining Knights of Hanoi and the SOL Chess Pieces.
King watched his brother continue on with the duel with narrowed eyes.
"Looks like I have to focus on either my Gouki Serpent Slash…or… how about something else? Something new?" asked Gore as he smirked to himself.
"The final effect of my Domination is that all of my monsters can be flipped face up the turn they were set, ignoring any effects that say otherwise, so come out, Deus X-Krawler and Spine!" one of the new monsters was his largest monster yet that was known as Deus X-Krawler, while the other is a new one.
Next up is a monster that looked like Crusadia Krawler, but it did have a couple of new changes that had red codes all over the monster's flesh as the orbs were changed to a brighter colour, but overall it is still the same monster with a slightly new look.
(Krawler Spine: Level 2 - Flip - Earth Insect - Attack: 300. Defense: 2100.)
(Deus X-Krawler: Level 9 - Earth Insect - Attack: 2000. Defense: 3000.)
"Now, the effect of my Krawler Spine is that I can freely destroy one of your monsters when flipped! So I will choose that Blade Ogre of yours!" he yelled as from the Spine's main eye of destruction was then shot out of a powerful beam of destruction as it went in super sonic speeds.
Gore wasn't having any of that, "Sorry, but no! I activate my Gouki Fake Out!" he yelled as his set card was then revealed, "This card allows one of my Gouki to tag out in an on coming destruction instead!" Gouki Suprex and Blade Ogre clapped their hands together which made them swap places as then Suprex took the powerful attack.
A card then appeared from his duel disk to which he took them, "I will now add a Gouki card since Suprex went to the graveyard."
Genome smiled, "Well that is fine to me! Because I will dissect my circuit one last time!" from his hand appeared data as it went straight towards the monster as he yelled out, "The Summoning Conditions are 2 Earth Monsters, so I set my Krawler Spine and my Deus X-Krawler in the Link Arrows!" he yelled as his two monsters flew towards the Link Arrows.
Genome then began to chant one last time, "Appear! The monster that brings the power of his enemy, as the Legacy will make them remember all across the World, with its PEAK DNA PERFORMANCE! I Link Summon! Link-2, X-Krawler Synaphysis!" As the on hsi field appeared a new monster that was another spider which Gore questioned if this man was one of those kids that collected bugs in the past, as the monster had 3 wings, 4 spears on his back, 4 long legs that were golden and a head that was misshapen. It was on Qualiark's Link Arrow.

"Two Link monsters in one turn? Dang, that is impressive." said Theodore.
Flame took notice that Genome had one more card in his hand, "I am afraid that this is only the start."
"I now activate the last card in my hand and that is my Monster Reborn!" The card materialized on his field, "With this, I can revive one monster from either of our graveyards, so I will revive my X-Krawler Neurogous!"
As then on his field appeared X-Krawler Neurogous that was on his Synaphysis' Link Arrow, but not on Gouki The Blade Ogre's Link Arrow.

"Which… in turn… makes me activate my Skill! Minus Mitosis!" the green parts of Genome's uniform, aka the lining, then began to glow, "When a Link Monster is special summoned from the graveyard, your life points and one of your monster's attack points are now halved!"
"Well this just went from bad to worse!" yelled Gore as he couldn't imagine how right he was.

All of them did the math, yes even Theodore, and they knew that if all of those attacks went through, Gore is finished, but something tells them that Gore will win.
Genome's smile couldn't get more sadistic even if it tried as he laughed up a storm, "HOH! How I am not even done with this one turn! Because right here and now, I am going to run you down like a train! Qualiark's effect is that if I have 2 more monsters, all of my Krawler monsters gain 300 more attack points, while Neurugos and Synaphysis have the same effect that the monster they point to gain 300 attack points!" all of his monsters glew red as they were astonished by what they saw.

Their eyes widened when they heard that as they turned to him, all except for King and the Knights of Hanoi.
"That's right! I am going to dissect you, and I am going to make use of your DNA to make the greatest warrior known to mankind!" Genome yelled at the top of his lungs with a hungry expression that was earning of everything that Gore had it in him to win this duel, "I will call you… The Grim Gore! BWAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHHA!" Genome then began to laugh like a maniac.
Everyone stood there in shock as they couldn't comprehend what they heard Genome would do to Gore. He was going to dissect him into pieces and use him? Some couldn't take that information as they nearly gagged.
The Knights of Hanoi, though?
Varis and Specter all stood there quietly while Faust and Baira thought to themselves, "How is he more sane than Specter?"
Genome stopped laughing as he turned his eyes towards Gore, "Battle. X-Krawler Qualiark destroys your Gouki The Blade Ogre! Spider Dance!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as Qualiark then charged straight towards Gore's lone Link monster as he shielded himself from the explosion.
Genome: 1900 lp
Gore: 1950 - 850 lp
"Please! This is nothing for The Gore!" Yellow lining around his avatar began to light up, "I activate my Skill! Pain And Gain! With this, I can special summon all of the monsters that were destroyed this turn by battle! So come out! Gouki The Blade Ogre!" he yelled as then a portal was created because of the fact that Blade Ogre sliced through Dimensions to get there, as he jumped from it, ready to battle for another day.

"Do you think that is enough for you to survive!? Because it isn't! X-Krawler Synaphysis allows the monster it is pointing at an extra attack during the Battle Phase, so GO! X-Krawler Neurogos attack the Blade Ogre with Overwhelming Bite!" yelled at the top of his lungs Genome as Neurogos went straight towards Gore's monster, but Gore had a card in mind for that.
Gore swiped his hand to reveal a new monster from his hand. "Not so fast, I sent my Gouki Refresher to my graveyard!" as then a Gouki monster whose skin was light blue, wearing nothing more than just some steel toed boots, black short shorts with a bit of fur around it with green gauntlets with a red water bottle in his hands appeared on the field, "I can send it to my graveyard and one Gouki Link monster from my Extra Deck as I gain 1000 life points for every Link Arrow it had!"
Gouki Refresher threw out a water bottle towards Gore as he caught it and began drinking it as Gouki Refresher disappeared into data as did the water bottle.
The attack still went through as Gouki The Blade Ogre tried to stop the monster's bite, but the poison of the monster's bite was able to dissolve the blade into rust which was powerful enough to bite through it and destroyed the Blade Ogre.

Gore: 850 - 4850 - 4750 lp
"Oh I get it, you are trying to save yourself from this barrage of attacks! Well, let's see how you can handle this! Overwhelming Bite!" Neurogos runs at full speed towards Gore, but Gore swiped his hand once more.
"Hold it! I discard Gouki Octostretch to halve the damage that I would actually take!" as then a new monster appeared that was a wrestler combined with a blue octopus appearing on the field trying to hold of Genome's Link monster, but it was bitten in the process and exploded into data.
Genome: 1900 lp
Gore: 4750 - 3500 lp
"That is right! I am surviving this turn wherever you like it or not you Knight Of Hanoi! Because no one can out do The Gore in the Battle Phase!" yelled Gore as Genome smirked as he widened his eyes as he probably shouldn't have angered him, or amused him at the very least.
"Really now? Did I forget to say that Neurogo's effect allows my monster to deal double the damage?" asked Genome as Gore widened his eyes when he heard that. This is going horribly for the Gore.
"Well… I still have Refresher's effect in my graveyard! By banishing a non-Link Gouki monster from my graveyard like my Gouki Suprex," he said as the two cards appeared and disappeared soonly after, "I gain 200 life points for every Level of the banished Gouki!" Gore glew red for a bit.
Genome: 1900 lp
Gore: 3500 - 4300 lp
"You are off by 550 life points for you to survive at, my friend." Gore narrowed his eyes as Genome swiped his hand, "But no matter, my X-Krawler Synaphysis will destroy your life points with Attack Order!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as his Synaphysis charged directly towards Gore, but Gore isn't giving up just yet, as never giving up is like his magic.
"This is the last card I will play! Gouki Diver allows me to banish it from my hand, as I will negate your monster's attack, for the price of 600 attack points!" he yelled as Diver appeared on the field to deliver a suckerpunch to the Krawler monster, which made it stagger a bit as it glew blue for a bit.
X-Krawler Synaphysis: 2400 - 1800 attack points
"But the downside to that is that you can strike back at me, but now I can survive this turn, baby!" he yelled with a grin on his face as Genome scowled at him as Varis narrowed his eyes.
"Fine then! X-Krawler Snyaphysis attacks you directly! Attack Order!" he yelled as Synaphysis shook its head as it charged directly at Gore as he screamed in pain as he went to a knee.
Gore quickly rose up as he won't give up. For Dan.
Genome: 1900 lp
Gore: 4300 - 700 lp
"Looks like this fight is almost reaching it's end Gore, which I honestly think you should just give up already. You can't target my monsters with anything, they can't be destroyed at all and your main source of playing your deck is nothing short predictable as it is negated. I end my turn, but please, make yours a bit short, I am getting impatient." he said with a massive grin as Varis narrowed his eyes at it.
He knew the advantage he had in the duel, but at the same time, a duel should never be over if you have the bigger advantage. Even if the opponent has no monsters, no Spells or Traps, no cards in their hands, you should not get confident as the duel can be swayed at any moment.
It is like the old saying:
A duel is not over until the last card is played.

"You are right, Genome." Gore started off as Genome looked at him in a weird way as he continued, "You are right that style of dueling is predictable, as even I can tell that it is becoming predictable, as I understand why people stopped to respect me as much as they did, with me doing the same ol' routine, time and time again. Making me seem irrelevant, as I can tell that during this duel, if The old Gore was dueling you, he would be getting washed without a problem, but you know…something changed."
"Hmm? Now what can it be though?" asked Genome as Gore then turned to him.
"It is the duel against Soulburner, as I realized that my style of dueling wasn't the one that would best fit me, as I realized that change was inevitable, it is something that can't be stopped, wherever you like it or not. So then… I decided… I will change! Not matter what anyone told me! I will change my dueling style right here and now! I won't be known as the Number 1 Celebrity duelist in Link VRAINS that just Link Summoned, I will be known as, The Number 1 Duelist in Link VRAINS! As I will Summon in different ways! RIGHT HERE AND NOW!" he yelled at the top of his lungs as everyone watching this duel looked on with interest as they will see a possible new style of dueling with The Gore.
"I will show you! I will show Varis! I will show The Knights of Hanoi, SOL Tech, Soulburner and his pals, everyone watching this duel! That I have changed for the better by defeating you right here and now! As they will witness me! As starting right here and now," a card popped out of his duel disk as he then placed his two fingers on it, "I WILL PUSH BACK MY LIMITS!" he roared as he drew the top card of his deck.
He began to show the card that he just drew from the corner of his eyes as it felt like the world stopped for him, as he then saw the card he just drew and then…

…he smiled.
"Alright! This will help The Gore out! I activate the Spell Pot Of Avarice!" the pot appeared on Gore's field as 5 cards appeared over it, "By shuffling Gouki The Blade Ogre, Gouki Jet Ogre, Gouki Ringtrainer, Gouki Octostretch and Gouki Moonsault to my deck, I can draw two cards from my deck!" the 5 cards went into the pot as the pot turned around and spat the two cards into his hand to which he caught it.
A big grin on his face appeared, "I will show it! I have all the right pieces for your smackdown! Since I control no monsters, come out! Gouki Riscorpio!" as then on his field appeared a tall muscly monster as the monster's armour was that of a scorpion's skin as it was red as crimson with black pants, as the arms were black and it had claws over his hands and it had a big scorpion tail at the back.

"THEN! I activate my own Monster Reborn!" the legendary Spell card materialized in front of him as he began to explain his powerful spell's effect. "I get to revive one monster from either of our graveyards, so come out! Riscorpio's partner in the ring! Gouki Tagpartner!"
As then on his field appeared from a portal, Gouki Tagpartner as Riscorpio high fived his best friend and comrade.

Everyone looked at him weirdly when they saw him having 2 monsters that relatively did nothing too special for them, so they wondered, how would that help him in the current situation.
"Hey, that is neat he has two monsters on his field." said Theodore with a smile on his face, happy that Gore has something against Genome's monsters.
"Yeah, but how will that help him?"
"Good point, how could two monsters with the same level help him in this turn?" asked Kiku and Seigen as their eyes slowly widened.
"Wait a minute, 2 Level 5 monsters, and the recent rumours…" Flame's eyes widened as he yelled what was in their mind, "Is he going to XYZ Summon?!" yelled Flame in shock as Gore's grin answered that question.
"Which is enough for me to build my Overlay Network!" he yelled as he brought two of his hands together as the images of his two monsters appeared on his hands as he brought them together as a galaxy appeared behind him as brown data appeared around him as it created a machine that sucked both of his monster's into the machine to create a new powerful monster. Varis watched with interest in his mind as the rest crossed their arms.
Gore then raised his hands into the air, "The legends of this monster's power and mischief have been a mystery, as the real star comes around, to bring down any foolish fool that dares to strike him! I XYZ Summon! Rank 5, Gouki The Undertake Ogre!" As then from the machine appeared a new monster.
A monster that was double the size of The Gore appeared on the field. Its muscles were more defined than the Gore as it wore a dark leather jacket as it had brown skin around his body and had bits of red around his chest and stomach, as it had long flowing dark hair with red eyes. It had a black tank top and black leather pants with combat boots.
(Gouki Undertake Ogre: XYZ - Rank 5 - Earth Warrior - ATK: 2500. DEF: 2000.)
Everyone was in awe to see this beast of nature coming from Gore, and who could blame them? It was a new monster that has literally never been seen before as it was its first time seeing it and man, did he deliver!
Varis was interested in the effects of this new monster, Genome was narrowing his eyes at the monster, Baira, Faust and Specter crossed their arms at that, and our quartet? Well, let's just say that they have stars in their eyes from seeing that monster. As two brown Overlay Units were all around the monster.
"Since you said that your Spell won't allow me from attacking with Link monsters, I guess it could be said that I went around that! And his effect is something to be wild about! I activate his effect! By detaching one Overlay Unit," Undertake Ogre grabbed it and ate it, "I can equip him with a Gouki monster in my graveyard and add their attack points to him!"
"WHAT?!" yelled Genome to end's of the Earth as even he could predict something like that!
Gouki The Master Ogre appeared on his field as Undertake Ogre walked over him as the data around the Master Ogre began to fade away as they went straight towards the Undertake Ogre as it grinned evilly when he did so.
Gouki The Undertake Ogre: 2500 - 5500 attack points
"Time is out, GENOME! I WILL GET THAT ANTIDOTE RIGHT HERE AND NOW!" yelled Gore as Genome looked down and didn't say a word as he was silent.
King saw that and narrowed his eyes towards him as he could tell that he was signaling that he is surrendering.
"That is correct. I have no other counterplays. Go ahead and win this duel." said Genome as Gore smiled as he knew that he won this duel right here and now, and he will prove everyone watching this duel that he was the winner and he was stronger than ever.
He saw from the corner of his eyes three familiar figures appearing on the rooftops. He smirked.
"Alright then, since you asked for it! BATTLE! Gouki The Undertake Ogre attacks and destroys your X-Krawler Qualiark with Darkest Lariat!" he yelled as The Undertake Ogre flew towards the nearest rooftop as when he got to one, he stood there with a malicious grin on his face with his foot on the rooftop as then he jumped straight towards Qualiark with a body slam that was so strong that it made it go towards the Data Storm, not being able turn to data as it jumped back towards Gore with a dramatic pose.
Genome was now on his knees with a clear pained expression.

Gore: 700 lp
THE GORE: WINNER!

Everyone looked at what they had seen in shock. The Gore, the Number 1 Celebrity Duelist in Link VRAINS, managed to defeat one of the Knights Of Hanoi, and not just any Knight, it was a Commander.
The third highest ranked Knight in the Hanoi, and he was able to defeat one of them in one duel.
They were quiet, as they were outside of the Link VRAINS until… they began cheering so loud that it could be heard outside of the city that they were in as they couldn't believe that their Hero managed to win.
Even Soulburner, Frostgirl, Stormrider and Flame began to clap.
"YEAH! THAT'S RIGHT! THE GORE MANAGED TO SCORE THE TOUCHDOWN OF THE CENTURY!" roared Gore as he posed dramatically for the cameras as Genome looked at him as he raised his arm to the heavens as his index finger was pointing to the sky.
Many people took several pictures of him doing this pose which the rest of the world probably think it will either be a poster of him or a meme, there is no in between.
Gore then turned to Genome as he looked at him, "Now, for my prize Genome." he said as he raised his hand as they all saw the holograms disappear.
Genome sighed as then a card popped up as it looked eerily similar to that Varis gave to Soulburner after he won their duel which made Flame narrow his eyes at. "We may not look it, but we Hanoi are men and women of our words, so here catch." he said as Gore caught the antidote in his hands as he looked at it.
"How do I use it outside of Link VRAINS?" Gore asked as he saw Genome slowly disappear.
"Well it is quite simple, just put it in your duel disk and it will absorb the data, then walk over to the unconscious boy or girl and then use the data from your duel disk and whala! The person you are working for is going to wake up." he explained as Gore nodded as the data was absorbed into his duel disk.
The AI in his duel disk yelled, "ANTIDOTE REQUIRED!" as Gore nodded as well.
Before Gore could fly off, Genome began, "You know, I have to admit, that this was a fun duel to me and it was shocking that you won, but there is something that I have to address. To you, to the people watching, to you brother," he turned to one of the cameras and smirked as he knew that his elder brother was watching him, "and to even you, our audience in the back." he said as he looked at Soulburner, Stormrider, Frostgirl and Flame, "Yeah, don't think I couldn't notice you 4. It was quite obvious that you were watching us."
He chuckled to himself, "Well anyway, this is my message to me. This is the start of this attack, this battle, this war. As you might think that you have defeated me, but trust me, there are 4 more opponents that you have to fight that are stronger than me, and the last 2 are almost impossible to defeat, even if you gang up on them, so here is my message to the entire world. Good Luck." he said his last words as he disappeared into data.
There was silence in the entire Link VRAINS. No one spoke a word for several minutes.
Gore couldn't believe what he saw as he saw a man practically disappear into data, Soulburner, Flame, Frostgirl and Stormrider were gripping their fists as they knew that this was merely the start of this massive war and the entire world felt like it was on pause.
Varis, Specter, Baira and Faust were silent as Specter closed his eyes, Baira and Faust lowered their heads slightly down and Varis was paying his respects to the man that was Genome, his fallen comrade.
The Chess Pieces of SOL Tech were quiet, especially King as they didn't know what to expect from him, but all he did was sigh.
Gore, after a couple of minutes, flew towards the quartet. "So, looks like the Knights are planning for a war, and I just wanted to ask… Do you have room for one more player?" he asked as the four looked at each other andthen looked back at Gore and smiled at him.
"Of course, Gore, we need all the help we could need!"
"Yeah, you are a pretty decent duelist I will say, so why not?"
"Dude, yeah! Your moves were pretty sick!"
"Someone of your calibre and skill is not something you can find any other day, so of course we have more room!" said Frostgirl, Stormrider, Soulburner and Flame as Gore smiled at the newly established team.
"Great! Those Knights of Hanoi won't know what hit them!" yelled Gore as the rest nodded.
"Although, it really wasn't cool to nearly tell the world about my identity." said Soulburner as Gore widened his eyes.
He then looked at him and began to scratch the back of his head, "Sorry about that, it was the only thing that managed to get their attention. Truth be told, I actually don't know your identity."
"Wait, really?" Gore nodded.
"Then what did you plan to say if you lost though?" asked Frostgirl.
Gore shook his shoulders, "I don't know, something ridiculous like Heodore Tamilton, or something close like that." their eyes slightly widened at hearing that.
"Yeah… what a ridiculous name." now that Stormrider thought about it, he did find his best friend's name to be fucking weird.
"Alright, since we haven't had a proper introduction." Flame appeared to show his full body as he placed his hands near him like a handshake. "My name is Flame!" the three rolled their eyes, " E! F is for Fabulous, L is for Likeable, A is for Awesome, M is Mirthful, E is for Enchanting! FLAME!"
Gore blinked.
"Does he always do that?" he asked.
"Only when he makes friends."
"It is getting tiring."
"Every time." they responded.
Gore 'ahh'ed as he used his index finger as he shook Flame's hand.
After a couple minutes of talking, he was about to log off, but then he heard Frostgirl said, "Hey, wait a minute." Gore turned to her, "If you are going to join our team, how about one change to your outfit?" she asked. Gore raised an eyebrow.
"That is?"
"A scarf." she said simply, "You know, that is like our team symbol, and I wanted to ask if that is cool with you." she said as Gore thought about it as he then nodded.
"Sure I would love too, I probably would get a brown scarf." he said as he waved towards his new teammates.
The ones that were going to fight the Knights of Hanoi.
In The Real World
Back at the place where Gore lived in, he looked at his duel disk and saw that the antidote was still there, he smiled at.
He quickly got to the hospital and placed his duel disk at Dan's head, and then, shortly, his eyes began to open up.
Dan looked at George who had a gentle smile as he blinked slowly, he coughed, "G… Gore?" he said as George placed a hand on his chin with a gentle look on his face.
"Yeah, it is me, champ." he said as Dan looked at him with a wide smile.
Happy to see his hero.

Hope you guys enjoyed it, I know I have, and sorry for the long wait, I had to update my Black Clover fic and my GX Rewrite fic (One of whom who had 20k words, I have no life lol) so I hope that this works.
I have no idea why, but whenever there is a Gore chapter, I always blank on this, not that I hate him, I just find it really odd. I hope you guys enjoyed the new Gouki monster and I assure you, it isn't the last one! ;)
Genome was a character that is fine, I guess? Idk, something about the Commanders that have never really interested compared to Specter and Ryoken, but that doesn't mean I hate them, I just find them dull compared to them. I like their design, and I hope to give them more depth, so I hope that worked with Genome here!
I decided to change Genome's deck into Krawlers for two reasons: 1. I didn't want to work with Helixx monsters since I actually don't know their playing style, so I decided to research about something about DNA and Krawlers were there and I was like "Cool! It can work." and then BAM! 2. To give him and King a little bit of a connection as I plan to give King World Legacy (Since they are canonical enemies in Lore), Queen the Mekk-Knights and Bishop, Rook and Knight would most likely have a deck combining with one of the Summoning Methods with link, or I could make an archetype based on the Hashira and Magic Knight Captains, dunno.
Here, King and Genome are brothers and why have they been separated? Well, to put it short, King's original idea about the Lost Incident made the Canon one look like a playground. If you want more of a hint, think about the Wheeler experiment in Yugioh GX. ;) I plan on writing them to duel each other in Season 3 (Still haven't fully planned it though.)
To finally cap things off, the next duel is Frostgirl and Baira, and I decided to rework Baira's deck a little bit with adding more Virus cards and more Dark Mummy monsters. Kiku will have a new Cyberse monster, but if you want to see how it would look like, just search Edward Avalache from Black Clover: Sword Of The Wizard King, and you will understand since it was my main inspiration.

Once per turn: You can detach one Overlay Unit, equip 1 "Gouki" monster from your graveyard and if you do, you gain its ATK.
