"Genome, Baira and Faust," it had been officially a week after the defeat of the last Commander/Lieutenant of the Hanoi and Varis was still not over their defeat as he was in the room with Specter and his dad, Kiyoshi, as they were looking at their defeated bodies that were also in a comatose state.

Almost never to be awaken ever again unless the Tower is destroyed, but now it is far too late to stop, it is far too late to stop as it was at it's almost completion and the annihilation will begin, where all AI, computers, internet, electronics, laptops, microwaves, even things like ovens…

Everything will be destroyed and deleted once it reaches the full capacity in only a few hours and Varis was getting more and more excited for each second, for 3 reasons why.

One, it would basically be his revenge after he lost to the duel against Soulburner and the Fire Ignis where even the powerful Fire Prison wasn't enough to corrupt and destroy it as even though he was holding back immensely it still bothered him that he still lost the duel against that man, including to an Ignis.

Two, it would mean he will finally get his revenge not only to Soulburner and his friends for defeating his men, but also against SOL Tech for what they have done against his father, where he warned them the dangers of the Ignis years before they will destroy everything that they know and love, but they put him there, in a comatose state like them.

And the third reason, he would finally save humanity, the entire world, against the dangers of the Ignis, AI and the Cyberse for all of the pain they would've caused if it weren't for him and it would've happened 5 years ago if the Fire Ignis didn't escape his wrath as a duelist.

Even though he may not look like one or think as one, he thought of himself as a hero. The one that would save humanity and its future against the Ignis even if they would have been brought back to the stone age, but if mankind did it before, what will stop them from doing it again?

But now, he was looking at the defeated bodies of his comrades, the defeated bodies of his teammates, the Commanders, the people he could trust the most and would listen to every word he would say, the people that were like family to him. He narrowed his eyes as he looked at them.

"Varis, may I ask, what are you thinking about?" asked Kiyoshi as he looked at his son when he asked that question as Varis gripped his hand into a ball.

"Nothing father, I am just thinking about them, and how I will make sure that the ones that defeated them, Gore, Frostgirl and Stormrider, will pay for their actions against the Hanoi," said Varis as the two looked at Varis, "And I am thinking about how this fight, this Armageddon, will be the most impactful fight in all of mankind's history, as everything will be revert back to zero."

"Interesting to note, Varis. We will make sure that the ones that appose the Hanoi will be punished no matter what, especially what we are fighting for." said Kiyoshi as he continued to look at the scientists he worked with during the Lost Incident, and how… enraged he was when he heard Alexander's ideas.

The ideas that were alike of the Wheeler Incident many years ago, where The Lost Incident where those 6 children could've had it worse. So much worse that it made him mad as his actions of kidnapping those 6 children still plants regret at what he has done many years later.

And when they accomplished the very task that he was given… they betrayed him, SOL Tech betrayed him once he saw the simulations of humanity's downfall. He gripped his hand into a ball.

"I hope you understand this, Alexander Kirimoto, your operation will fall and everything that you worked for will be all for nothing, especially after your early drafts." thought to himself Kiyoshi as he looked at the younger brother of King, Genome, as he was one of the four people that knew about King's original ideas.

And the rest of the four were the Commanders as his very own son has no idea what could've happen. Something worse, something much worse.

"That's right, after the Tower Of Hanoi is released, we would have to fight for our lives to get that Tower to activate, both Varis and I against most likely 4 powerful duelists," said Specter as he slowly began to grin, "It may seem harsh and almost impossible, but that is what I like about it, but wait," his grin dropped as he turned to Kiyoshi, "Will you be dueling, sir?"

Kiyoshi shook his head, "Unfortunately, I am not much of a duelist, I know the rules and everything, dueling hasn't been my thing. You two however… dueling is like walking to you, and you understood it ever since you were young. I have no doubt in my mind that you will accomplish your goals." he said.

"Thank you, father, and I will make sure that I won't' let you down as no matter what, I will avenge everyone that has fallen as they will know that the Knights of Hanoi are a force to be reckoned with." said Varis as he narrowed his eyes.

"I will make sure to go all out on them as well, Master Varis, but I have a question." The Leader Of The Hanoi turned towards his right hand man, "Will you just use your Link monsters like you did against Soulburner or will you decide to go all out and use those monsters?"

"That is simple to answer, full force as I won't let them breathe without making them worried about my next move." answered Varis as Specter nodded.

"Understood, then I will pray for their poor souls in advance." said Specter as he nodded to the Leader Of The Hanoi.

"I must go now, I wish the both of you good luck," said Kiyoshi as he logged out.

Now, it was time.

There were only 2 of them remaining.

The Right Hand man and the Leader Of The Hanoi, two of the highest ranking duelists in the Hanoi and one of Link VRAINS' strongest.

"They won't know what will hit them, right Master?" asked Specter as then a grin appeared on his face as well for Varis.

"Right, as they will fall." they said as they readied themselves up.

INTRO!

We see a collection of duelists' duel disk as they were shown to be drawn by different duelists such as: Soulburner, Frostgirl, Stormrider, Gore, Kitamura, Ghost Gal, Specter and finally, Varis, but when he was shown of drawing his last card, the scenery changed to Soulburner with Flame on his shoulder standing in a lone deserted town.

As then we see Soulburner at the front, Flame on his left shoulder, Frostgirl on his left and Stormrider to his right as then they went to the right with the title saying "Bring The Heat, Soulburner!"

Running through the dark night, where are we headed?

We first see a room where Seigen on his laptop trying to code with Flame looking over in interest as Kiku and Theodore are trying their best to study.

Only the moonlight is our sole guide

We then see Varis and Specter standing beside each other as Varis sees a screen looking over their strongest monsters.

Pain and sadness cannot be erased

Then we see a tiny boy looking over a screen showing 6 children around his age in an experiment known as The Lost Incident with horror on his face.

But the flames in our hearts cannot be extinguished

We see Gore sitting down in his arena, remembering those days of when he was orphan with no one there to comfort him, but he then stood up with a smile on his face, trying to show the other orphans that he is ready to take them down.

For whom do we persist with these feelings?

As then we see the backs of previous legendary duelists from before their time as slowly, but surely, it went around to see Gore, Stormrider, Frostgirl and Soulburner, which the four turned around with determined looks on their faces.

We'll tear through the darkness and into the light

As then the turned to see Varis and Specter nodding to each other as they both appeared in the same city.

Until the day when we can shine

We then see Stormrider and Gore looking shocked, Frostgirl looking terrified and finally Soulburner and Flame looking determined to finally see the time of day.

Oh fire, born within our liberated hearts

We see Specter with a wild grin on his face as his Sunavalon Dryatrentiay threw out its roots at the battling Ho-Oh, The Reincarnation of Nephthys and General Edward Of The Ice Barrier as Stormrider and Frostgirl grit their teeth at him.

Rise up and surround us, toward the other side of dawn

We then see Varis unleashing Borrelsword, Borrelguard and Borreload Dragons like a maniac as Gore roared as he summoned out his Gouki Destroy Ogre, Gouki Undertaker Ogre and two more Ogres at him.

Until we can lovе this world once more

We then see Flame looking at the sky, finally realizing the true purpose of his existence as he looked like he found his inner peace.

Even if our livеs come to an end, let's stay connected

We then see Soulburner at what looked like he was covered in flames as his Salamangreat Violet Chimera, Pyro Phoenix, Blaze Dragon, Emerald Eagle and his new Synchro monster were battling against Varis who had his Borreload Dragon, Borreload Savage Dragon, Borreload eXCharge Dragon, Borreload Riot Dragon and Borreload Furious Dragon.

After the monsters were destroyed, all that left was a Soulburner who looked not angered or sad, but joyous while Varis had a smile on his face as their fields had Salamangreat Heatleo and Topologic Zeroboros, as when the two crashed…

Theodore, Flame, Kiku and Seigen were watching the beautiful coast line.

BRING THE HEAT, SOULBURNER! - THE KNIGHTS OF HANOI!

Emma was sitting on her laptop as she breathed in and out, this week has been actually quite peaceful for her, if you ignore Akira asking for some help with 12 viruses and the fact that she got humbled AGAIN twice by some random ass users by the name of Angel-Of-Sweet-Revenge and Sabellabella all because she liked the duelists Rio Kastle and Yusei Fudo.

She really needs to be quiet about some things that she likes. This has happened a total of 6 times in like a few months. What is happening to her luck?

Where was I again?

Oh yeah.

Emma's week was actually quite peaceful as she was trying her best to look into the program that was going all haywire in her computer as she tried to find out what it was, but then she realized that it was probably the program she knew for a month and a week in advance.

She narrowed her eyes as she knew that it basically wrote trouble for everyone that was involved as she figured that it would be best to strike an hour or so before it actually launched because that is when the security will be at its actual lowest and she didn't mind that.

Not to mention she had to work with her new 4 four cards that she actually thought were pretty decent cards as they worked really well with her deck and she quickly realized a couple of the combos.

She thought about giving Aki a gift basket and chocolate for all of these… Or a kiss on the cheek, it is really the same thing for him. Or… a kiss on the mouth.

His face is always priceless whenever he reacts like that once he gets a kiss.

But for right now, she has to hurry, as she thought about something, and that is the three kids with an Ignis already knew that Armageddon would soon arrive Link VRAINS in a week time as Faust told them out loud and they probably contacted Gore about this whole thing as well, so they must be at work, creating one of the most powerful combos ever made with the greatest plan known to mankind.

Meanwhile, for no reason at all, Kiku, Theodore whom she was holding hands with, and Seigen were walking to school as Kiku wondered something, "I wonder, what is the height of stupidity."

Seigen, without thinking for a second, turned to Theodore and asked, "How tall are you again?"

Theodore looked at him offended as Kiku busted up laughing at that.

Emma felt like she made a stupid thought.

She shook her head as she looked up the cards to see how well they are so she doesn't accidentally make a mistake. Admina is a decent Link-4 monster that would've helped a lot during her duel against Soulburner, Peritraitor was like Meluseek, but this time it is just a draw effect, which she didn't mind, Revitalization was like Manifestation which was already a good card in her book and Malwisp is perfect for both Synchro and Link Summoning monsters.

She looked at the time where it will happen and saw it will be in a few hours. She shrugged.

Well, she thought that was fine, she might look around, tease the life out of both Akira and Skye after she heard the latter hearing she might be catchin' up some feelings, get take out and probably catch up on Bleach.

It all sounded fun, especially the last part.

She really is enjoying the Arrancar arc of Bleach.

With Theodore, Kiku and Seigen

It has been a wild week for the three as it was almost getting closer and closer to the massive event that might change history itself, and… they weren't quite sure how to think about that just yet, but they can handle that.

So first things first, they had to do some tests that took them a while to understand and finish with Flame acting like a little sargent the entire time because he will never make them fail a test while they know him as the week was filled to the brim with the tests that they somehow managed to survive it, with Flame acting like he didn't infuse like 3 different traumatic moments in their life.

They chatted with George about the plan as the Champion of Link VRAINS understood that and made sure that his entire day had nothing to do with anything other than having fun with the orphans in the orphanage as he had fun doing that no matter the day, which they understood and respected him on.

They recently read the new Black Clover chapter and are excited what Tabata is cooking, with even the Season 4 of Demon Slayer quickly coming up which they are excited about as well, but there was something that was extremely shocking that will happen in the upcoming weeks that they heard.

The school was getting inspected as rumours have been spreading like butter on a hot toast about an inspector looking at the school and had to look if it is safe for the kids, if it endangers the children, if the staff are up-to par and are able to teach and more which was a bit concerning.

As there was a high chance for the school to get closed as it was… not good to say the least as it didn't regulate some of the rules that most schools try their hardest to enforce, which means that they had to relocate to different high schools which were kilometers away.

That was interesting to say the least.

They heard that the school in Den City taught similar subjects with almost the same books and you sometimes don't need a book, just a tablet and you are fine which is why Theodore was sweating bullets reading that part.

Eh, better than nothing.

But now, they were in Seigen's apartment because Kiku's brother had his friends over and Kiku would rather die than ever meet with them and Theodore heard that his grandparents had their friends over and it was somewhat of a problem.

So they were at Seigen's apartment where the group were doing some of their own thing, like Kiku deciding that adding some of the Nekroz support would help greatly with her Ice Barrier deck that can bring some of the Rituals easier with Seigen thinking about adding some of the new Fire King support.

It wasn't Nephthys support, but hey, it was better than nothing, he supposed.

Theodore was looking over his deck for preparation as he heard from Flame that the new Skill was finished that was named Neo Burning Access which interested him, but he kept that to himself when he needs to hear that in a duel.

But his attention was brought to Seigen who brought out a monstrosity of a cup that reeked out of juice.

Kiku, Flame and Theodore all looked at Seigen as he was drinking the cup of juice like it was no problem, "Seigen, buddy, pal, amigo, whatcha drinking?" asked Theodore as Seigen looked at his friends and looked back at his laptop and continued to code.

"Some juice since you guys limited my caffeine consumption once a day." said Seigen as they looked at the monstrosity.

"What is in that?" asked Flame as he was extremely worried for his friend's safety.

"Oh nothing much, just some drops of espresso, a can of Monster Energy, Hell, Red Bull, Prime, most energy drinks honestly, 5 hour energy drink, some coco beans and a drop hot chocolate for the flavour all mixed in one." said Seigen as he took a large sip of that beast of a drink.

"Seigen! You can't drink that, that will destroy your body!" yelled Kiku in a worried tone as Seigen looked at her with an unimpressed tone.

"Kiku, it hasn't yet. I have been drinking this for a couple of years as like they always say "What doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger."" he said as he took another sip of that drink as they were getting concerned, more than usual.

"Seigen, you will die if you take another sip of that, you will get a heart attack from that much caffeine consumption!" yelled Flame as Seigen shrugged.

"It hasn't yet." he said.

"Seigen no." both Kiku and Theodore said at the same time as then Flame had a vision of a spherical object with tendrils all over the sphere.

The vision was gone as Flame clenched his head as they looked at him, "Flame, are you okay, buddy?" asked Theodore as the Fire Ignis looked at his origin and nodded.

"Yeah, yeah, I am fine, I think I just saw a sphere with tentacles around it." said Flame as Seigen raised an eyebrow at that.

"Pretty sure that is an octopus." he said as Kiku thought about it.

"Kinda sounds like a squid to me." she said as somehow Theodore felt like the smart one in the conversation.

"I don't think it is an octopus or a squid, but what it probably is major trouble," said Theodore as Flame nodded with that.

"I agree with Theodore… wow, you don't hear that everyday," said silver-red haired boy rolled his eyes at that, "Anyways, what I saw was some kind of sphere that sucks up data around it and… I feel like it has to do something with the Hanoi." he said as they realized that it has the Hanoi hands all over it.

"Yeah, it does make sense as we haven't seen as many Knights of Hanoi members as much as we did when we started," said Kiku as she placed her hand on her chin.

"Not to mention that the way that they disappeared was not like before with getting log outed as some did before we won, as it looked like their entire being was being sucked in and turned into data." said Seigen as he thought back to all of the times when they defeated a member of the Hanoi.

"Yeah, and all of those spooky way that all of the Commanders after they were defeated. With Genome saying some ominous things like wishing us good luck and saying the war has merely started, Baira saying the same thing as Genome, but that time for the Knights of Hanoi as well and the last one…" Theodore began as they then realized what that meant.

"In a week's time, Armageddon will begin…" Flame narrowed his eyes at that. "There are a couple of definitions of the word Armageddon: One being is the site or time where the conflict of good and evil have been fought and the other:" Flame looked at them, "a catastrophic conflict that is likely to destroy the world or even the human race." said Flame.

They widened their eyes at that.

Armageddon now is a word that they full well on as even when they were kids, the word stuck out to them as it would basically mean the end of human civilization and the whole world, and that terrified them to no end.

Something that could ruin something so massive that could even include the Cyberse World, was something to be feared by and the fact that the Knights Of Hanoi were the cause of this?

Was something that has to be said and finished as the conflict between them and the Hanoi would end here and now.

But the first definition was interesting.

A conflict of good and evil?

How fitting.

"Well, whatever the cause, we have to stop it, even if there is a small chance they aren't responsible for this." said Theodore as they nodded.

"Right, as I think it is time for me to say that I have upgraded your duel disk, Teddy!" Seigen said as Kiku looked at him.

"Wait, just his?" asked Kiku.

"Yeah, because a certain someone didn't allow me to pull all nighters for tests I already knew the answers to." Seigen glanced at Flame who huffed as he crossed his arms.

"Well, you're welcome for giving you a refresher for that test, Seigen." said Flame as Seigen sighed.

"Whatever, okay so in short, you and everyone around you could hear us talk to you whenever we speak to you, okay?" said Seigen as with Theodore you had to explain something like he is a 5 year old.

He nodded, "I think."

"Okay, good, and I made sure to upgrade the camera so even if you were in a Data Storm, you would be alright in there and we know where you are at, understood?" he said as Theodore nodded.

"Yeah?"

"I will take that as a yes, now the last one is that you can basically suck up data that even Flame couldn't eat when he is in that hydra form wherever it be small or massive. Do you understand?" asked Seigen as that one stumped Theodore as he made a face that basically said no.

Kiku sighed, "Stand close, get info."

"Ohhh." said Theodore as Seigen wondered how he survived middle school. "Thanks, Kiku."

"You are welcome Teddy." she said with a smile. She had these two as her best friends for over a decade, she learned a bit of boy language.

"Alright, you go and log in, I found out where it was, but not the exact location so you have to keep in mind, okay?" asked Seigen as Theodore nodded.

"Oh, it is fine, 'cause we got this!" said Theodore as he took Flame and his duel disk, which the Fire Ignis was ready as ever, as he placed his duel disk and yelled, "It Is Time To Link Into The Vrains!" as his duel disk said, "INTO THE VRAINS!" as then he logged in.

In Link VRAINS

Soulburner appeared on a rooftop in Link VRAINS, "Hey guys, do you see and hear me?" asked Soulburner as then he heard the voices coming from the duel disk.

"Loud and clear, Soulburner."

"Yep, don't worry about a thing." said both Kiku and Seigen at the same time as Soulburner nodded with a smile as Flame admired how crisp it sounded.

"Alright, that is good to hear." he said as Flame nodded.

"Indeed, but I have to admit that it sounded extremely crisp, nice job." admired Flame as Seigen patted himself on the back on that one.

"You are welcome, I told you, it ain't my first rodeo." he said as he looked at his laptop, "But you should probably start running, my man, because from what I am looking at, it is going to start in about a couple of hours and I know the location."

"Ahh, sweet, then let's get going, Flame!" yelled Soulburner as he looked at Flame as he nodded.

"You know it, Sou-" he then had a vision once more of the sphere with tentacles as he then grabbed his head once more, "Ah!"

"You okay, Flame?" asked Soulburner as he looked at his Ignis as the Fire Ignis nodded.

"Yeah, yeah, I am fine, I just had the vision of that sphere once again…" said Flame as Seigen and Kiku looked at the screen.

"Of the octopus?"

"I told you, it is more like a squid." Kiku turned to Seigen once he said that.

"It is not either of those things, but what I do know is that if I got the vision of that thing, then we are close to the source. Isn't that right, Stormrider?" asked Flame as he didn't say his name to keep his identity a secret.

"Yup, just a few minutes and you would be there in a sec." he said.

Soulburner nodded, "Then let's go, guys! Let's stop this thing!" he yelled as he jumped from the building that had data all around it as then a hoverboard appeared around his feet as he began to ride the waves like a surfer.

He took a couple of moves, from left and right, to turning to different buildings so he doesn't accidentally hit the buildings alongside his adventure, as he knew that he was getting close as he heard that Flame kept getting visions of that non-octopus-and-squid sphere with tentacles, which means that they were getting closer and closer to where they had to get.

As then, he saw a couple of fireflies flying through the air, which shouldn't be possible because of the sole reason that animals shouldn't be in Link VRAINS, but then it did mean something was up.

Soulburner and the gang thought about it, but decided it wouldn't be a horrible idea to follow the trail of fireflies as they were going the same route as them, so they wondered where they were going, as he narrowed his eyes at that.

When they stopped in an alley that was suspiciously the same place where it stopped the route for them, he jumped from the hoverboard and landed perfectly like a superhero in a superhero movie.

"Okay, what now?" asked Soulburner as he looked at Flame and his friends who all shrugged as Seigen didn't know exactly where to go.

"Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged here." Soulburner instantly turned around when he heard that voice and their eyes widened once they knew who it was. And who it was none other than the woman that gave them information for the SOL Tech data bank.

"Ghost Gal!" yelled Flame as he still wasn't over that she wanted to sell him if she won.

"What are you doing here?" asked Soulburner.

"I should be asking you two the same question, but knowing you guys," Ghost Gal walked towards them, "It wouldn't be far fetched that you wanted stop this thing, and you know that it is something bad if it attracted us, right?" she asked.

"Yup, it must be something horrible." said Soulburner as Ghost Gal nodded.

"Correct, but hey, I can handle it." said Ghost Gal as she began walking to the fireflies.

"With your fireflies?" asked Flame as he looked at Ghost Gal.

"Uh huh, but if you want to get technical with me, hun, they are nanodrones as they can look and find anything out of the ordinary including a couple of data, because anything that is out of the ordinary means big money." she said as Seigen nearly dropped his jaw at that.

"That sounds awesome! Can you send me some of the blueprints out of that?" asked Seigen as Ghost Gal looked at Soulburner and Flame when she heard that.

"Microphone from the duel disk?" she asked.

"Microphone from the duel disk." Soulburner confirmed it.

"Ahh cool, sure!" she turned to the duel disk, "For the price of 1 Ignis."

Seigen placed his hand under his chin in thought about that decision.

"No." said Kiku as she turned to her best friend.

"What? I am just joking, I wouldn't actually think about that." he said as Kiku knew that he was lying.

"Suuuree." she said.

Back to the trio, Soulburner looked at her, "Okay, but don't you think it would be safe if we handle it? Because it would be safe if you logged out." he said as Ghost Gal chuckled at that.

"I am sure that you are right, but unless you are the guy who invented the seat belt, you can never make a profit from something safe." Ghost Gal stated.

"What about the safe?" Ghost Gal looked at Soulburner, "I am pretty sure every bank has that."

"Or a lock on the door, I am confident that made people safe." said Flame as Kiku and Seigen thought about it.

"What about a door? That was pretty safe from pretty much everything outside and caused a massive profit." said Kiku.

"Or what about the-"

Seigen was cut off, "Okay, I get it! Bad example! Just let us continue with this." she said as she touched her duel disk which made the nanodrones create a massive portal on the ground as it would make for both of them to jump in, "So you are in?" she asked as the nanodrones went in the portal to collect some data.

Soulburner and Flame looked at each other as they thought it would be best to trust her for now. "Sure, let's go." he said as he walked towards the portal.

"Great, because this baby is going to close in a few seconds, so let's go!" yelled Ghost Gal as she ran towards the portal and jumped in with Soulburner following with her. The portal closed. Thankfully, with the upgrade, both Seigen and Kiku could see what is going on and wouldn't be lost.

Unknown to them, there were sirens going on in the Knights of Hanoi's base of operation.

"Looks like someone found out about our project." said Specter as he looked at Varis, "Should I go and eliminate our target?" he asked as Varis shook his head.

"No, I will go and eliminate them as nothing will stand in our way." he said as he teleported. Specter smirked, already knowing that whoever is dueling Varis in a duel when he is like this… is a dead man walking.

Back to our heroes, Ghost Gal, Soulburner and Flame were walking down the sewer system of Link VRAINS as Soulburner had to admit, it was actually pretty well made. The walls and the floor had a dark blue colour to it that basically were like obsidian and there was a lake made out of dark blue data.

"Huh, who knew that Link VRAINS had a sewer." said Soulburner as he looked around and had to admit that as he kept walking down on his way towards the sphere with data all around.

"Yup, did you know that this place stores all of the bad data from Link VRAINS? Including some of the deleted junk that some people deleted over time being here." said Ghost Gal as Soulburner nodded alongside her as they kept walking.

"You seem oddly familiar with this sewer system. How come?" asked Flame as he crossed his arms.

"Well, here is the thing about me, I have infiltrated through more systems than your friend here can count," said Ghost Gal as Soulburner felt offended for that. Why is everyone roasting him today? "And heck, I even infiltrated a couple of systems with Aki and The Shepherd from time to time."

Flame remembered that man, and it was still shocking that someone that ruthless could be alive, but why did she sound slightly sad when mentioning that man? It was strange.

They kept walking until they were at a crossroad. One with two different routes where it means that one person has to go while the other has to go with the other one.

"Hey, Stormrider, do you know which route we have to take?" asked Soulburner as unbeknownst by everyone else, Ghost Gal looked at her duel disk and nodded as she knew which route they had to take.

"Nope, sorry." said Seigen.

"Hey, it is fine man." said Soulburner as he looked at Ghost Gal, "Do you have any ideas where to go?"

Ghost Gal shook her head, "Nah, but how about this. I go on the right side of this crossroad while you go on the left, how does that sound?" she asked.

"Wait, why? How about we go to the right and you take the left." said Soulburner as he wasn't very trusty of Ghost Gal.

"What? Oh can you say that? That was so mean!" Ghost Gal dramatically asked that Flame thought could give the Dark Ignis a run for his money. "How can you not trust me?!"

"Because you didn't tell your boyfriend about your plan when we infiltrated SOL Tech?" guessed Soulburner as Ghost Gal looked at him.

"Okay, fine, that is fair. But come on, it is just a 50/50 guess. Heck, you could go on the right one while I am stuck with the one with a dead end." she tried to persuade him.

"I don't know, I am not sure." he said as Ghost Gal sighed.

"Alright fine, how about we play a little game?" asked Ghost Gal as she took out her deck from her pocket, "Who ever gets the prettier card wins! That sound fair, to you?" she asked as Soulburner thought about it.

"Yeah, I guess, so le-"

"Soulburner, how about I try it out?" Soulburner turned to Flame as he looked down towards his partner, "I am an AI and I would have a better chance of picking the card than you, no offense." he said as Soulburner nodded.

"Nah, don't worry. No offense taken, you can go ahead." he said as he brought Flame to her as his full body was revealed to her.

"Okay, you ready, Flame?" she asked as Flame nodded, "Okay, here we go." she said as she began to shuffle all types of ways. With an overhand shuffle, a riffle shuffle, a mongean, a faro and many more.

Seigen and Kiku looked at each other and basically had a whole conversation in their head that basically went like this: "She rigged it, didn't she?" "Big time."

"Done, and you can start." as she placed her deck towards the Fire Ignis as he looked at it with a ready expression.

"You can do it, buddy," Soulburner hyped his partner up as Flame got ready.

Flame then began to chant as fire appeared all over him, "Right hand energized for maximum draw efficiency, whispering it for me to draw. Switching over to card selection mode! Deck analysis program optimized and engaged! Commence Processing! HEART OF THE CARDS! GUIDE ME! BURNING SHINNING DESTINY DDDDDDDDDDDRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW!"

Flame ripped the card out of the deck at blazing speeds, like a revolver shooting out a bullet as there was smoke coming out of Flame as he was covered in an inferno that would've burned away anyone that was foolish to battle him as it was hot as the Sun. Flame, all the confident as he felt like the most confident being alive, as not one being could even hope to even be in their life time as he was filled with the bravest of hearts as his desire would burn in the cosmos of deep and cold space, as he opened his eyes for the card of his destiny, the card that would get out of his system that showed his intelige-

"Oh."

The fire around him disappeared from him in a millisecond.

He showed the card to Ghost Gal revealing it to be Fake Trap, "Is this pretty?"

"Nope, that is the ugliest card in my deck. So sad to here you guys lose, but then again, ADIOS!" yelled Ghost Gal as she began to hop rock to rock to walk towards one of the pathways. While she did that, her deck dropped.

Flame dropped his head, "Damn it, I feel so stupid. I am sorry, Soulburner, everyone." he said as Soulburner patted him on the back.

"It is okay man, you win some, you lose some, there was just nothing you could do." Flame looked back to Soulburner and without seeing it, he knew that he was smiling. Soulburner then noticed something, "Hey wait a sec, she tricked us! She had a whole deck filled with Fake Traps!"

Flame turned his attention to the deck and suddenly wanted to throw hands with someone, "Oh that tramp! How could she!?" he yelled as he was never this mad at someone since Varis.

"You guys just realized that?" asked Seigen as Kiku had to think about her relationship right now.

Soulburner sighed, it was best not to answer that. "Let's just look, okay. There has something interesting going on, I am sure of it." he said as he began walking towards the pathway that he was cheated of.

It was boring to say the least as it was one of the most boring of places that someone could ever walked through even though this place is anything, but dull as it was beautiful, but it quickly got tiresome.

Suddenly they heard something.

Something approaching that was getting fishier and fishier every second that it was getting nearer and nearer.

As he turned around he saw nothing, but as soon as he turned around to see what he was seeing.

He saw something that was out of this world.

The monster was massive, easily doubling Soulburner's size or even tripling that much, as the monster had a massive build with muscles on top of muscles as it was covered by yellow moss-like hair that went around his chest, neck, shoulders and bottom part of the body as it had black pants, black hair and a massive sword. There were 4 horns coming out of the body, two on the front and two at the back, as the head was disgusting to look at, as the bottom part showed the bones, and the massive amounts of teeth with a sharp tongue and purple lines around his eyes. It was covered in data.

"WHAT THE ABSOLUTE HELL IS THAT THING?!" yelled Soulburner as he quickly got to his duel disk, "You got something to battle this thing?! A nichirin sword, a stand, a pokeball, a Grimoire, a Zanpakuto, a duel disk that actually summons something?!" yelled in desperation.

"Uhhhhhhhhhh… Nope, good luck!" said Seigen as he shut his laptop and quickly planned his funeral. Kiku began to pray for his safety.

"YOU MOTHERFU-"

"SOULBURNER, DODGE!" yelled Flame as he quickly dodged the sword slash coming his way.

"This is not the way I thought this day would go."

"Me neither, but let's do this! Let's push back our Limits!" yelled Flame as Soulburner nodded. This will be a tough fight to handle.

With Ghost Gal

Ghost Gal ran as she had to get through some obstacles while following her nanodrones that were flying through the sewer as she looked at them flying and knew that it was getting closer and closer.

She glided down a slide once more as then she saw her nanodrones getting slower and slower as she knew that she was getting close, as she was at a door that had data blocking what was going inside. She shook her head as she thought that it would stop her.

She had a different idea.

She pulled out a goddamn dagger and pierced through a door as it then broke into several pieces. "Nothing fails when you have a knife, huh?" she asked herself as she swiped her hair as she walked in and she was shocked by what she was looking at.

It was a massive sphere that looked like the Earth with tentacles going all around it, almost hitting things around her as there was data going all over the place and she could've sworn that a Data Storm was going to be made. "Looks tough, but nothing I can't handle." before she even took a step, she heard a voice.

"Sorry Icarus," she stopped as she heard this voice before. She slowly began to turn her head to see the man she never hoped to see in her life, "but you are flying too close to the Sun."

"Varis… what are you doing here?" she asked.

"I could ask you the same thing honestly, however, knowing your past, it means that you would have to stop that either by a task by someone working with SOL Tech or by your own desire, and I am not letting that happen." he said with a threatening tone.

"Oh well, that is horrible to hear! Oh no the tragedy! What will a poor defenseless woman do- HAH!" she pulled out the dagger to stop him.

Varis smacked the dagger out of her hand as it fell straight through.

"You were saying?" he asked with a smirk on his face.

"What I was saying is that I would love to chat, but I have to go. See ya' December 32th at 12:01!" she yelled as she tried to get around him, but the door was shut closed, making it impossible for her to get out.

"Again, what were you saying?" he asked as Ghost Gal closed her hand into a ball.

Ghost Gal sighed. She pulled out her duel disk at a wall, but a snap of his fingers made it impossible for her to go anyway, "My God, you do not want me to go anywhere, do you?" she asked as Varis smirked.

"What do you think? You are not getting anywhere." he said as Ghost Gal narrowed her eyes.

"But I do know one option and that is to go through you!" she yelled out as Varis looked at her.

"Oh you want to duel me? Then go ahead, I have some new tricks in my deck that I want to test out." he said as he then turned downwards "However a Master Duel won't suffice, so let's do this in a Speed Duel." he said as he jumped down as a hover board appeared beneath his feet.

"Sure, the same can be said for me too!" she yelled out as she jumped as a hoverboard appeared beneath her.

They both looked at each other as then they yelled, "DUEL!" at each other.

Speed Duel!

Turn 1.

"I will take the first turn, thank you." said Ghost Gal as she swiped her hand to reveal her entire hand. She looked over at her 4 cards and thought about a couple of combos, but she thought she had a pretty decent one.

"I will start by playing Foolish Burial! I can take one monster from my deck," the card materialized on her side of the field as she then took a card that appeared on top of her duel disk, "and send it packing to my graveyard!" she said as she placed it on her duel disk as the card disappeared.

"Now, I will summon my Altergeist Marionetter!" Ghost Gal announced as then she took a card from her hand as then a monster appeared on her field, as it was a monster that had a slender figure with dark skin, turquoise armour on the top with yellow horns and long dark whips around the entire body, as the bottom part of the body was like a long dress that was purple. pink and turquoise and data around the bottom.

(Altergeist Marionetter: Level 4 - Light Spellcaster - Attack: 1600. Defense: 1700.)

"Her effect activates! When she is normal summoned on the field, I can set 1 Altergeist Trap card from my deck straight to my Spell and Trap zone, and I think I know which one!" she yelled as she took a card from her duel disk as it appeared, only for it to be set vertically behind Marionetter.

"That is a good effect, unfortunately for you, you can't activate that effect the turn you set a Trap." Varis said as Ghost Gal smirked behind her mask.

"That's true, but you forget something, I have a way of going around that, like this! Temple of The Kings!" Varis narrowed his eyes at that card as it was the same card used by Baira in her duel against Frostgirl, "I don't think I should explain that card to you, so I will activate the effect. Reveal yourself, Personal Spoofing!"

The card revealed itself, "This card is treated like an Altergeist card even in the deck, so thankfully I will activate its effect! I can shuffle 1 Altergeist monster from my hand or on the field like my Kunquery," she revealed her Altergeist Kunquery and placed it in her duel disk, "So I can add 1 Altergeist monster from my deck straight to my hand!" she yelled as she took a different card from her deck.

"The card I added was my new card, Altergeist Malwisp! Her effect then activates! I can special summon it if it is added to my hand other than drawing it, so come out!" she yelled as then the new monster appeared itself.

The monster was another slender figure as it has a dress like bottom part of the body with large legs with orbs all around the monster, as the armour was white as snow, with some golden colouring around the monster with large whips with what looked like bullet ends at the end of the monster.

(Altergeist Malswip: Level 3 - Tuner - Light Spellcaster - Attack: 1500. Defense: 0.)

"A Tuner monster… so you can Synchro Summon too?" he asked as there were alarms going all around Ghost Gal's head as soon as he said that.

"Too?! But he never used that against Soulburner! So, what he was saying about holding back was…" thought to herself Ghost Gal as she shook her head. He was bluffing, there was no way he was holding back the entire time.

…Right?

She had to get her head straight, "I can, but that won't be my main strategy for the duel, as Malwisp's effect is activated, as I can special summon a monster from my graveyard when it is summoned, so come out, Pookuery!" she yelled as she took a card from her hand as she then revealed it.

Varis assumed it was the monster she sent thanks to Foolish Burial. It was a monster with a slender figure as it look more human like than any other monster, as the armour was purple with the under parts being black leather as there were 6 wings around the monster.

(Altergeist Pookuery: Level 1 - Dark Spellcaster - Attack: 300. Defense: 100.)

"Three monsters…" Varis stated as he narrowed his eyes.

"That's right! Now, time to link the known into the unknown!" she clapped her hands together as then strings came out of her fingers as then a circuit appeared on her field. "The Summoning Conditions are at least 2 Altergeist monsters, so I will set my Marionetter, Malwisp and Pookuery in the Link Arrows!" all of them then began to fly straight ahead towards the circuit.

She then began to chant, "Arrive the being connected in the lost arts of serpents, turn to your enemies as they turn into stones! I Link Summon! Come out, Link-3, Altergeist Primebanshee!"

As then on her side of the field appeared a being that was like Medusa from Greek Mythology, as it had three heads as the entire bottom part was one long massive tail that went around Ghost Gal and her hoverboard, as there were 4 snakes that were like its arms.

(Altergeist Primebanshee: Link - Dark Spellcaster - Attack: 2100. Link-3. Link Arrows: Middle-Right, Top-Middle and Top-Right.)

"There she is, my ace monster! But firstly, I can add back my Pookuery since she was used for a Link Summon back to my hand!" she yelled out as she took the card back from her graveyard to my hand.

She looked at her field and then back to her hand, and she had to admit, it was a pretty good field in her opinion. "That ends my turn!" she yelled out as Varis grinned.

Turn 2. Varis - 4000 lp - 4 cards

"That may be decent, but your decent is my worst! I draw!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck as he swiped his hand to reveal his hand. He thought about some combos, as he knew this would be the best one.

"I activate my Quick Launch!" the Spell card materialized on the field as he began to explain the effect, "I get to special summon a Rokket monster straight from my deck, so come out, Rokket Caliber!"

As then on Varis' side of the field appeared a new dragon that hasn't been since know, as it was a long dragon that that was split into even number of cylinders with purple energy between those cylinders as there were neon purple wings all around the monster, as it had sharp claws, purple eyes and a red bullet on the top of its head.

(Rokket Caliber: Level 4 - Tuner - Dark Dragon - Attack: 1700. Defense: 100.)

"No way… so you weren't bluffing at all! You have a Tuner monster!" Ghost Gal yelled as Varis smirked.

"Of course, but for the likes of you, you won't see what my Synchro monster will look like." he said as the monster then disappeared into data, "Because I will tribute the monster for a Tribute Summon of a monster I have! That monster will be my Speedburst Dragon!"

As then on his side of the field appeared a dragon, a metallic dragon that looked like he was ready for war itself, as the tail was that of a revolver, with the claws being neon green, as on the shoulders there were small bullets were machine guns could be placed in, as there were neon blue wings. The monster roared in power.

(Speedburst Dragon: Level 6 - Dark Dragon - Attack: 2400. Defense: 600.)

"When this card is Tribute Summoned, I can add 2 Rokket Monsters with different names from my deck," he said as then two cards appeared on the top of his duel disk as he took them. He looked at them as then a maniacal grin appeared on his face. Ghost Gal knew that look and it meant trouble.

"This will be the start of your demise, Ghost Gal, the field will change as I activate my Boot Sector Launch!" he yelled as then nothing changed because they were in a Speed Duel, "This card has 2 different effects. 1 allows me to special summon monsters from my graveyard equal to the amount of monsters you have on the field, but the other allows me to special summon up to 2 Rokket monsters! So come out, Rokket Tracer and Magnarokket Dragon!"

One was a dragon that had red metallic skin that was as rough as a diamond, that had a tail instead of legs, as its arms were like that of rockets, as there were 4 neon blue wings behind it and a massive bullet for a head.

The other was a monster that didn't have as much armour as did the red one, as the wings were actually green this time around, as the armour was blue and had a short bullet as a head.

(Rokket Tracer: Level 4 - Tuner - Dark Dragon - Attack: 1600. Defense: 1000.)

(Magnarokket Dragon: Level 4 - Dark Dragon - Attack: 1800. Defense: 1200.)

"Three monsters already?!" Ghost Gal was in shock with that one as she didn't expect that so soon, but Varis wasn't done.

"You think that is impressive? Watch and see what I have now in store! I activate Rokket Tracer's effect! I can destroy 1 card on my side of the field," Rokket Tracer looked at Magnarokket Dragon and flew straight towards him like a bullet, "so I can special summon a different Rokket Monster from my deck, like my Silverrokket Dragon!"

Silverrokket Dragon was a dragon that was based around the silver bullet from most Vampire stories as it was shiny like silver, it had a long and slender body like a snake, had 6 neon purple wings and had a small bullet on the head.

(Silverrokket Dragon: Level 4 - Dark Dragon - Attack: 1900. Defense: 100.)

"Not to mention Boot Sector Launch's other effect! All of my Rokket Dragons gain 300 attack and defense points!" he yelled as his monsters began to glow red for a bit.

Silverrokket Dragon: 1900 - 2200 attack/100 - 400 defense points

Rokket Tracer: 1600 - 1900 attack/1000 - 1300 defense points

"Now! I have enough for me to manifest my circuit!" data appeared all around Varis' hand as he then threw it in the air as then a circuit appeared in the air, "The Summoning Conditions are at least 2 Effect monsters! So I set my Speedburst Dragon, Rokket Tracer and Magnarokket Dragon in the Link Arrows!" all of the monsters turned into bullets as then they flew straight towards the circuit as Link Arrows.

Varis then began to chant, "The bloodlust of destruction of the Cyberse created a new form of devastation! Rain down on your enemies of your rain of death! I Link Summon! Appear, Link-3, Borrelcode Dragon!"

The monster came out of the circuit as the dragon looked like a combination of Borreload Dragon and Topologic Bomber Dragon, as the head was opened like a gun, as the base was that of Borreload with as it had massive jet turbines on the back, as there were massive spikes behind it, with massive wings on the back with what looked like Magic Cylinders below the wings, as there were 2 silver tendrils coming out of the monster, as the bottom part had nothing, but jet turbines as the arms were the same. The size dwarfed Primebanshee as Ghost Gal could only watch as the entire monster was filled with green energy.

(Borrelcode Dragon: Link - Dark Dragon - Attack: 2500. Link-3. Link Arrows: Top-Middle, Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right.)

"What the… what in the world am I looking at?" asked Ghost Gal as she was at complete shock at the beast she was looking at.

Varis smirked, "What? Confused?"

"Yes! I mean, how in the world did you get that monster?!" yelled Ghost Gal as Varis looked at his newest monster and then back to her.

"Well, it is pretty simple. When Faust lost to Stormrider, I had an idea while watching him and Frostgirl have a Cyberse monster, and the idea of combining both of my Link-4 monsters, Topologic Bomber Dragon and Borreload Dragon, came to mind in an interesting idea, as it while took time and effort, came this powerful beast of destruction." said Varis as he looked at the beast of destruction. "It couldn't become as strong as them since it is only a Link-3, but it is enough for my opponents to know their defeat." he said as he narrowed her eyes.

"If you ever decide to attack, I have news for you and that is if it is attacked when it had 3 Link Materials, it can destroy every monster on the field!" he yelled as Ghost Gal gasped, "Let's continue on with the duel, I activate Arrow Charge!" The card materialized in front of him.

"If we both control a monster in the Extra Monster zone with the same amount of Link Arrows, I can draw 2 cards from my deck!" he yelled as he drew the top 2 cards of his deck. "I set two cards face down," two cards were set vertically behind his Borrelcode Dragon, "and now… Battle! Borrelcode Dragon attacks your Altergeist Primebanshee! Thunder Malicious Destruction!"

As them from the mouth of the Borrelcode Dragon began to charge up a powerful blast of electricity that was going around the mouth, but that was not all as all of the Magic Cylinders targeted Primebanshee as the vizor on Varis' mask shined as he pointed at the Link-3 Altergeist monster and yelled, "FIRE!"

All of the attacks then went straight towards Primebanshee which Ghost Gal couldn't do anything, but guard herself as she didn't have a way to get that attack away from her, which disintegrated her Primebanshee while the Borrelcode Dragon roared in power.

Ghost Gal: 4000 - 3600 lp

Varis: 4000 lp

Ghost Gal took a deep breath as she then pointed at a card on her duel disk, "When Primebanshee is destroyed by battle, I can add back an Altergeist monster from my graveyard to my hand, so I will choose my Altergeist Marionetter!" she said as she took it.

"You may have survived this turn, but can you survive the next one? Let's see and find out, I end my turn." he said as then a card popped out of his duel disk, "During the End Phase, after Magnarokket Dragon is destroyed, I can special summon a single Rokket monster from my deck and say hello to Shellrokket Dragon!"

A small dragon that had the same build as Magnarokket Dragon appeared on the field with the armour being that of a shell of a bullet as it was yellow with 6 neon green wings with a small bullet for a head. It was in defense mode.

Turn 3. Ghost Gal - 3600 lp - 2 cards

"Well this is a fine how do you do." said Ghost Gal as she narrowed her eyes. Her hand was good, but this was not enough for her to beat over that monster that he has and she couldn't fight it or it would be destroyed, which sucks big time.

However, there was one thing on her mind.

"Wonder, how it is going for Soulburner and his little Ignis… Eh, they are probably having fun, while I am struggling." she thought.

With Soulburner

"THIS IS NOT A FUN SITUATION TO BE IN!" yelled Soulburner as for the past few minutes, he was trying his best to survive this massive data monster as Flame thought about a way to defeat this thing.

Kiku had to cover her eyes during the entire thing because she didn't want to see her boyfriend turn into a corpse while Seigen was filling in details about his body for a coffin.

Soulburner dodged a sword that the data monster used more like a bat than a sharp object that came crashing down to his level as he dodged to the left, where he was basically at the wall, as he know was facing this beast to the wall. He rolled between the monster's legs as he continued to run.

The data monster turned around and began chasing him and the monster was so big and so massive that it caused mini earthquakes just by walking around. "Behind you!" yelled Flame as Soulburner jumped, dodging an attack from the beast, which caused a mini shockwave as he continued to run away.

"What do we do now, Flame?!" yelled Soulburner in desperation as he looked behind him and saw the data beast coming closer and closer towards him as then a lightbulb appeared on top of his head.

"You train martial arts, right?" asked Flame as Soulburner nodded.

"Yeah, for over 10 years, why?" asked Soulburner as Flame looked like he had a plan.

"Then watch this, stop!" Soulburner, despite him not wanting to turn into minced meat, turned around and listened to his friend's order, "Now watch this!" As then, fire appeared all over Soulburner's body as he was shocked to see all of this happening. The data monster didn't stop as then it raised his sword.

Soulburner readied himself as then around his knuckles appeared a pair of flaming burning brass knuckles. The data monster then swung his sword as Soulburner threw his punch as they connected…

Only the sword broke on impact.

"OH HELL YES!" yelled Soulburner as he grinned. Seigen cancelled his order as Kiku's jaw was practically on the floor once they saw this, "Flame this is amazing! How is this possible!?" he looked at the Fire Ignis.

"Well it is simple, I am the Fire Ignis, I can control and create flames whenever I want to. Did you think I picked my name because it sounded cool?" asked Flame as Soulburner looked at him.

"You want me to be honest?"

"No. Back to the matter, with my flames and your skill, you have a fighting chance of beating this thing!" explained Flame as Soulburner grinned.

He then turned to the data monster, "Hey ugly!" the data monster looked at him as his sword began to regenerate, "I am Soulburner, and I am only telling my name because," the fire around him began to heat up as he cracked his knuckles, "you want to know the name that will send you in ashes." he said as the fight continued.

She looked at it and nodded, but for right now, she yelled, "I activate my Personal Spoofing! I can shuffle one card from my hand," she showed her Altergeist Pookuery as she returned the card to her duel disk as a second card appeared on it, "So I can add 1 Altergeist monster from my deck!" she yelled as she took it.

"I will then summon it! Appear, Altergeist Silquitous!" she yelled as a cross of a bird and a human appeared on the field. It had a slender figure as its skin was light brown with yellow horns, with sharp gray claws on them, as the wings were black and yellow.

(Altergeist Silquitous: Level 2 - Wind Spellcaster - Attack: 800. Defense: 1500.)

"I will now activate the effect of Silquitous! I can target 1 Altergeist card I control and 1 that you control, as then both of them return to the hand!" yelled Ghost Gal as Varis gritted his teeth.

"I see." that is all that he said as his Borrelcode Dragon roared as it disappeared. "You made a smart decision, because if it was in my graveyard, I could've send a powerful monster with 3000 attack points for the price of summoning one Topologic monster from my Extra Deck."

"...Damn, well, I returned my Personal Spoofing, but you already know my hand and that is boring, so I activate Graceful Charity!" the card materialized on her side of the field, "I can draw 3 cards from my deck for the price of discarding 2 cards, so I think I will discard the two you already know!" she yelled as she drew 3 cards and then revealed the two cards that she sent, that being Marionetter and her Personal Spoofing.

"Now, I have more room to work with, so I will now set a card face down," she said as a card was set vertically behind her Wind monster, "which I will activate thanks to my Temple of the Kings! Go, Altergeist Revitalization!" she yelled as then another one of her new cards appeared on the field, and this time she will rock his world.

"I target 1 Altergeist Link monster in my graveyard and reborn it! Come out, my Primebanshee!" she yelled out as a portal appeared in front of her as then Primebanshee came out of it.

"That is not all as now I banish from my graveyard my Revitalization! Right after I banish it, I can now normal summon once more! So come out, another one of my new cards, Altergeist Peritraitor!" as then a new monster appeared on the field.

It was like a woman, a red hot fiery woman. The torso and up was lady-like, as around the arms there were flames that were going around it, as its claws were sharp as knives and the hair was that of an inferno, as the bottom was like a drill as there were several fire symbols all over it.

(Altergeist Peritraitor: Level 1 - Fire Spellcaster - Attack: 500. Defense: 300.)

"Three monsters on your side of the field? Very impressive, Ghost Gal, but allow me to activate a spell card! Squib Draw!" one of his set cards revealed themselves, "This card allows me to destroy one of my Rokket monsters," his Shellrokket Dragon exploded, "So I can draw 2 extra cards from my deck!" he yelled as he drew the top 2 cards from his deck.

"What? He just left himself wide open! Why? That won't make any sense, unless…" she thought as she understood what he was trying to do. She looked at her field and did the calculations, knowing that she will deal a total of 3400 points of damage, in full range of doing his Skill.

However, she smirked. "Oh I know what you are planning to do, so I activate my Skill! Secret Cure! Listen very closely: I can draw as many cards as I want until I draw a monster, which the rest go to the graveyard, as then, when I draw a monster, we both gain life points equal to the amount of attack points it has!" she explained as Varis nodded.

"I see, so you are trying your best to get around my Storm Access, but will you?" he asked.

"Well, let's see! I draw!" she yelled as she drew the top card of her deck and saw the bottom and knew it was a monster. She looked at the amount as then she grinned under her mask, "Oh yeah! I drew Altergeist Multifaker! A monster with 1200 attack points!" she yelled as then both of them glew red for a little bit.

Ghost Gal: 3600 - 4800 lp

Varis: 4000 - 5200 lp

"Alright, now I can deal as much damage as I want and it would affect me much since he would still have over 1000 life points left, however, thanks to his field Spell, he can summon up to 3 monsters and if the Rokket monsters have the same effects, then… it would be best if I do this!" she thought as then strings appeared all around her fingers.

"It is time to link the known into the unknown!" as then a massive circuit appeared under her. "The Summoning Conditions are at least 2 Altergeist monsters! So I will set my Link-3 Altergeist Primebanshee and my Silquitous in the Link Arrows!" the two monsters then flew straight towards the circuit.

Ghost Gal then began to chant, "Manifesting from the edge of nightmares! I Link Summon! Link 4! Altergeist Memorygant!" as then a human like monster appeared on her side of the field. The monster was like that of the servant of the devil or a Grim Reaper as it carried a massive scythe, as it has massive brown wings with yellow orbs, as it had sharp blades around the body and jester like shoes as the head was like that of a bat. The colouring scheme was purple.

"Oh you have a Link-4 as well? How…" his gaze darkened, "interesting."

"Yup, it used to be my strongest monster, but plans changed." she said as Varis looked at her, interested on why she said that.

"Well, it looks powerful, but let's see if you can defeat me." he said as she frowned.

She knew that it would be impossible as for right now, it was the best thing to at least get his life points down without reaching a 1000. "Primebanshee's effect activates! When she leaves the field, I get to add back Altergeist Marionetter once more!" she said as she took a card to her hand.

"I will set a card, as then… BATTLE! Altergeist Peritraitor will attack you directly! Scorching Blast!" around her hands appeared fire as she then threw it directly towards Varis as he narrowed his eyes, as then a small explosion happened.

Varis was left unscaved.

Ghost Gal: 4800 lp

Varis: 5200 - 4700 lp

"I will then activate two effects! The first one is that when Peritraitor dealt you damage, I can draw 1 card!" she yelled as she drew a card from her deck as then she pointed at her Fire Spellcaster monster, "Then, I activate Memorygant's effect during the battle phase! I can tribute 1 monster and she gains those amount of attack points!"

Memorygant picked up her scythe and slashed Peritraitor into multiple pieces as they went straight into Memorygant, as the data was absorbed all around her.

Altergeist Memorygant: 2800 - 3300 attack points

"Those are some big attack points you have there," said Varis as he narrowed his eyes.

"Thanks, however you shouldn't be complimenting your enemy when there is a massive scythe coming your way with your name on it! Go! Eternal Nightmare!" she yelled Memorygant swung her scythe around as then she flew straight towards him.

Varis didn't even flinch.

Ghost Gal: 4800 lp

Varis: 4700 - 1400 lp

"Is that all?" he asked as Ghost Gal gritted her teeth.

She sighed, "Yes unfortunately, and knowing your deck… you can summon a Rokket monster since you destroyed Shellrokket Dragon." she said as Varis grinned at that.

"You are right with that, so welcome my Exploderrokket Dragon!" he yelled as then a portal appeared which allowed him to summon a new monster.

On his side of the field appeared a snake-like dragon that had a brown colouring scheme with a hint of black, with 3 pairs of neon green wings, with red eyes and a small brown bullet at the top of his head.

Turn 4. Varis - 1400 lp - 2 cards

"My turn! I draw!" yelled Varis as he drew the top card of his deck as he looked at it with a smirk on his face. "With this, if she ever battles… it will be her last mistake." he thought as he took the card, "I will set a card face down." a card was set vertically in front of Varis as it then disappeared.

He swiped his hand to reveal the other two cards that he has. He smirked as he had the ability to summon one of his strongest monsters in one turn. "I will start by summoning my Hibernation Dragon in attack mode!" he yelled as then a new monster appeared.

It was a long purple dragon that had to be split by a data chip, that was black with green coding all around the the new monster, as there were 4 neon blue wings around the data chip.

(Hibernation Dragon: Level 3 - Dark Dragon - Attack: 600. Defense: 1500.)

"Hibernation Dragon's effect activates! When this card is normal or special summoned, I can target a Level 4 or lower Dragon monster in my graveyard, I can add it back to my hand," Varis said as then a card appeared on his duel disk as he then took it.

"That sounds like a good card, but too bad you can't summon it because you already normal summoned this turn," she said with a smirk on her face, but was wiped off as soon as saw Varis smirk.

"That's true, however, I have way of getting around that! Go, Quick Summon!" one of his set cards revealed itself as Ghost Gal prepared herself on what is about to be summoned, "With this, I can normal summon a monster on my side of the field from my hand, even if I already normal summoned a monster, so come out, Magnarokket Dragon!"

As then, his Magnarokket Dragon appeared on the field for the 2nd time with him being near HIbernation Dragon and then filling Varis' entire field of monsters.

(Magnarokket Dragon: Level 4 - Dark Dragon - Attack: 1800 [- 2100.]. Defense: 1200 [-1500,].)

"He has filled his entire field with monsters… that means that I have to be careful." she thought as then data appeared around Varis' hands.

"Now, I have enough to manifest my circuit!" he yelled as he threw his hand with data around his palm as then a circuit appeared from it, "The Summoning Conditions are 2 Rokket monsters, so I set my Exploderrokket Dragon and my Magnarokket Dragon in the Link Arrows!" he yelled as the two dragons flew towards the circuit.

"I Link Summon! Link-2, Booster Dragon!" A dragon appeared in the Extra Monster Zone, as it was a rather tall dragon, around the size of Varis, It was black and made out of metal, as the head was like that of a gun, as it looked like a dinosaur with neon 4 green wings.

(Booster Dragon: Link - Dark Dragon - Attack: 1900. Link-2. Link Arrows: Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right.)

"If you think that is it, how wrong you are! When I special summon a Dark Dragon monster, I can summon this! Noctovision Dragon!" He yelled out as he took a card from his hand as then, his hand was now at 0.

The new monster was actually a pretty tall one that was bigger than Booster Dragon, but the monster's metallic skin was black and dark green, as the tail had a sharp knife at the end of it, as it had binoculars as eyes which were red, as it had 6 neon green wings at its back.

(Noctovision Dragon: Level 8 - Dark Dragon - Attack: 0. Defense: 2800.)

"You have 3 monsters again!" she yelled with wide eyes as Varis grinned ear to ear at that.

"That is right, as you will see what will happen! Since you have a Link-4 monster, how about I show you my Link-4!" he yelled as then data appeared all around his hands as he threw his hand out directly at the sky as then a massive circuit appeared in the sky. "The Summoning Conditions are at least 3 Effect monsters, so I set my Noctovision Dragon, Hibernation Dragon and my Link-2 Booster Dragon in the Link Arrows!" he yelled out as all of them turned into bullets as they flew straight towards the circuit as Booster Dragon was split into two as it went straight towards the circuit.

Varis began to chant, "My gale that slices the closed world as a new weapon of destruction is born! I Link Summon! Appear now, Link-4, Borrelsword Dragon!" From the circuit came out a dragon that made Memorygant look like a toy made for kids with how powerful this monster looked like.

It was a dragon that towered over everyone else as it looked straight towards Memorygant and it could feel the danger just by the way it was breathing. The dragon had a massive tail that could destroy a mountain just by swinging it, as the body was filled with red and black colouring, with the shoulders being that of a sheath for a sword, the arms were like that of a revolver and the neck as well, as the head was like that of a Borreload Dragon, but it didn't have anything gun related, no, it had two massive swords, with the jet turbines behind it acting like wings with several neon yellow wings behind it.

The monster roared and the entire sewer system and sphere began to shake from the sheer power of this one monster.

"This… is the monster you had in your deck?! How… did you not summon it during your duel against Soulburner?!" yelled Ghost Gal as Varis looked at her.

"Because I thought I already won when I summoned my Borreload Dragon, not knowing that he had a counter for that direct attack, but, that doesn't matter for now, but first Noctovision Dragon's effect activates! When it is used for a Link Summon of a Link Monster, I can draw a card." said Varis as he looked at Ghost Gal. "This will be your doom!"

He pointed his fingers directly towards her, "Battle! Borrelsword Dragon attacks and destroys your Altergeist Memorygant! Borrel Sword Slash!" he yelled as then the two swords combined into each other to create one power sword that would destroy Ghost Gal's monster.

"That is not all," Varis narrowed his eyes at this, "Borrelsword's effect activates! When it battles a monster, it gains attack points equal to half of its current attack points as your monster's current attack points are now halved!" Varis yelled as his dragon glew red while Memorygant glew blue for a moment.

Borrelsword Dragon: 3000 - 4400 attack points

Altergeist Memorygant: 2800 - 1400 attack points

"Borrelsword! Pierce through her Memorygant!" Varis roared in power as then the monster pierced through Memorygant like it was a hot knife cutting through butter with disgusting ease. As then Ghost Gal flew from the impact away from her hoverboard.

Ghost Gal: 4800 - 1800 lp

Varis: 1400 lp

Ghost Gal narrowed her eyes as then from her hands was then shot a grapling hook to her hoverboard, as she then flew around, until she landed back on her hoverboard. "That was close." she said as Varis smirked.

"Too close for you, that will be it, for my turn." said Varis as he quickly looked down for his set card. If she does decide to attack his monster… it will be her last mistake.

Turn 5. Ghost Gal - 1800 lp - 3 cards

"Alright, I am facing one powerful looking monster that easily destroyed one of my strongest monsters I had in my deck… this is great." said Ghost Gal as she rolled her eyes at this. This was harder than she expected, this deck that he was using was so disgusting well made that even just those few moves resulted in him summoning out a powerful Link-4 monster.

But… that didn't mean she was out. There was still one new card that she couldn't wait to summon in her, and it will begin right here and now!

"My turn! I draw!" she yelled as she drew the top card of her. She looked at it and nodded. It was a decent card and it would help her with some of her new combos. "I set a card," a card was set vertically in front of her, but then she pointed at her Continuous Spell card, "thanks to Temple of the Kings, I can activate my set card this turn! So here we go, Jar Of Greed! This card allows me to draw a card from my deck!" she yelled as she drew the top card of her deck.

"Since I activated a Trap card, I can now special summon from my hand, my Altergeist Multifaker!" she yelled as she slammed a card on her field as then a monster appeared.

The monster was like that of a spider, as it was purple and pink in every place as there were golden ring around her ears and arms, as she had purple skin, as she had whips all around her body, with mechanical yellow legs on her bottom part of the body which was round.

(Altergeist Multifaker: Level 4 - Dark Spellcaster - Attack: 1200. Defense: 800.)

A card then popped out of her duel disk as she then took it, "I will now activate Altergeist Multifaker's effect! If she is special summoned, I get to special summon an Altergeist monster from my deck! So come out Altergeist Kunquery!"

As then on her field appeared a centaur, as it was half human and half horse, as the skin was a combination of brown, gray, white and filled with data, as it had a golden horn, as there were several whips all around the hair of the new monster.

(Altergeist Kunquery: Level 5 - Earth Spellcaster - Attack: 0. Defense: 2400.)

"If you think 2 monsters that fast was good, then let me show you what I have in store for you! I discard a card to pay the price of activating my Quick-Play Spell, Trap Booster!" the spell card materialized in front of them as the card appeared on the field, "With this, I can use a Trap like it is a Spell card!" Varis narrowed his eyes at that.

"With this, I can now activate from my hand, my Altergeist Manifestation!" the Trap card appeared on the field as she began to explain the effect, "This card allows me to special summon an Altergeist monster from my graveyard! So come out, Altergeist Primebanshee!" she yelled.

A portal appeared as then Altergeist Primebanshee appeared on the field, as it roared when summoned.

"You really like summoning that card, don't you?" asked Varis as Ghost Gal laughed.

"Yeah, I do, it is my ace monster, but here is the thing, it is also a good thing for me to use in a different way, as I will link the known into the unknown!" she yelled as then strings appeared around her fingers as she didn't have space for her last card in her hand as then a circuit appeared on her field, "The Summoning Conditions are at least 2 Altergeist monsters, so I will set my Link-3 Altergeist Primebanshee and my Altergeist Kunquery in the Link Arrows!" she yelled as then all of her monsters flew into the Link Arrows.

Varis can feel something powerful about to be summoned. Something new.

He narrowed his eyes.

Ghost Gal then began to chant, "The fate of one's end is inescapable as all living beings must meet their inevitable end! I Link Summon! Appear, Link-4! Altergeist Adminia!" she yelled as from the circuit appeared a new monster that has never been seen before until now.

The monster was massive and it was next to Ghost Gal, as the monster had 4 arms, as it was sitting what looked like a massive yoyo, as there were rings all around it, as all of them had spears on them, as the backside of the monster was huge, almost looking angelic, as the colouring scheme was white and purple.

(Altergeist Adminia: Link - Dark Spellcaster - Attack: 3000. Link-4. Link Arrows: Top-Middle, Middle-Left, Middle-Right and Bottom-Middle.)

"Oh, I see. That is your new monster, how interesting." he said as noted that they have the same amount of attack points as his Borrelsword.

"That's right as now, two effects go off at the same time! First I add back Marionetter once more thanks to Primebanshee leaving the field," she said as she took the card back to her hand, "Now! Admina has the effect to set 1 Altergeist Trap card directly from my deck if it was LInk Summoned!" she yelled as she took the card that appeared on the top of her duel disk.

"I am not finished! I activate my Spell, Monster Reborn! I can revive any monster I want, so appear, Altergeist Memorygant!" as then a portal appeared next to her as her other Link-4 monster appeared on the field.

(Altergeist Memorygant: Link - Dark Spellcaster - Attack: 2800. Link-4. Link Arrows: Middle-Left, Middle-Right, Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right.)

"You assembled your field pretty well, I have to admit, but if you decide to attack with your Memorygant, remember Borrelsword's effect, including that it can not be destroyed by battle." he said as he chuckled.

But then Ghost Gal smirked, "Yeah, but I am not going to attack your Borrelsword Dragon."

"Excuse me?" he asked.

"Well the thing is, your monster will be mine, and judging by the fact you didn't activate your set card not even once during my turn shows me that I don't have to worry." she said as she pointed at her Adminia. "I activate her effect, for the price of one card on my field, goodbye Multifaker," her Multifaker disappeared as then she leaned in…

"...I can now steal your Borrelsword!" Varis widened his eyes at that. "Go, Struggle of Fate!" she yelled as then all of the whips then flew straight towards Varis' monster as no matter how much it struggled, it subdued and flew towards Ghost Gal.

Ghost Gal looked at her field proudly, she had 3 powerful Link-4 monsters on her side of the field, as they were all ready to attack and defeat the Leader of the Hanoi.

"If this attack succeeds… I won." she thought as she then pointed towards Varis, "Bye-bye! Battle! Borrelsword Dragon, Altergeist Adminia and Altergeist Memorygant will attack you all at the same time! Borrel Eternal Fate!" Borrelsword roared in power as the head was turned into one massive sword, as then it flew straight towards his master, as Adminia's whips flew at him at the same time as Memorygant threw her scythe at him, as all of them proceeded to fly straight at him.

Varis stood there.

He dropped his arms.

He was silent the entire time.

But then…

(A/N: Stop Theme.)

…he started laughing.

Ghost Gal looked at him, as then he howled in laughter.

"HAHAHA! This… is not my end, this… is your end!" he roared as he pointed at his lone set card, "And it will be because of the very card you decided to mock! The card of your destiny! The card of fate!"

The card then revealed itself as then a barrier appeared on the field protecting him as it stopped everything.

"No way." Ghost Gal's resolve shattered upon seeing his card.

"That's right, the card of your undoing…" he grinned.

"It's…"

With Soulburner, 5 minutes earlier

"Just stay down already!" yelled Soulburner as he then threw a powerful haymaker at the data monster as the monster was slammed down to the ground as its back hit the ground. The monster got back up as it looked at Soulburner, angry that he was responsible for making it hit the ground as it roared like a demon controlling gravity.

Seigen and Kiku were watching this fight with a bowl of popcorn, enjoying the show. Seigen recorded that fight and planned to post that on Youtube because this is amazing, it can't be left out.

Several rocks flew towards Soulburner as he got into position as he punched all of them in sight, the monster tried to be sneaky as it raised its blade, but Soulburner dodged that attack. Soulburner landed a punch on its legs, but the debris landed on his side striking him.

Sure the monster was powerful, it was probably the most insane fight he ever had with someone that wasn't a duel, but he and Flame shared something, something that can't be changed.

It is that when it comes to a battle of guts, he will never, ever lose! He can't stay down!

Soulburner kept attacking this beast as he was kicked far away, but he rolled back up and he slammed his fist against the foot, almost shattering it on impact. He can tell, Flame's juice was almost running out. He gritted his teeth, as he endured the debris hitting him once more, he landed a powerful punch on the foot.

He continued to wail on it, blow after blow, his fists were getting almost numb from the punching and kicking. He should've also taken some kickboxing, it would've actually helped him on how to use both his fists and feet.

He looked at the other leg and narrowed his eyes. A kick was stronger than a punch, but he wasn't experienced in it, but… "Oh to hell with it! Flame kick up some juice on my feet!"

"Roger!" he yelled as then around his feet, a raging inferno was at his feet, ready to kick the monster straight to the Shadow Realm.

He gritted his teeth as Soulburner then delivered a powerful kick to the monster's legs as the monster roared in agony as it fell down straight to its knees as Soulburner ran for a bit for some good distance, as then he notices that it was in perfect range for two more punches.

"Let's end this, Flame!" he yelled as he flew like a speeding bullet as he delivered a powerful uppercut which made the monster raise its head upwards for a bit, but Soulburner jumped as he was ready to finish this fight once and for all.

"JUST STAY DOWN YOU PSYCHO!" Soulburner roared as delivered possibly a Mike Tyson level of a punch the monster fell to the water as Soulburner landed on the ground. He turned around to the water, but understood that it will never get back up.

Kiku and Seigen were at complete shock at what they have seen as their mouths were opened and were at the floor.

Kiku turned to Seigen, "Post that video. Now."

"Already on it, bro." he said.

He breathed in and out as he then closed his fists properly as he then made the loudest roar of victory in all of Link VRAINS, "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" he roared as the flames went down.

Flame looked at Soulburner and began to clap, "That was amazing, Soulburner! Truly splendid, but a little advice, if I may?" Soulburner looked at him.

"Sure, what's up?" he asked.

"Practice learning to attack with kicks as well as I see you are more experienced with your punches, which isn't bad, but if you really want a kick of a fight, then I suggest practicing with kicks as well." said Flame as he thought that was a nice thing to do as constructive criticism is always good.

"Yeah you are right, but we should get going with Ghost Gal, we don't want her to get all of the info!" Soulburner yelled as he turned around, but stopped, "Wait, did you just make a pu-"

"Move! We don't have time!" yelled Flame.

"Right!" he yelled as he began to sprint and managed to get to the same room as Ghost Gal and unfortunately the person he didn't want to see.

"Hey… is that Varis?!" yelled Flame in fear as Soulburner looked at the person she was dueling and… there he was. The Leader Of The Knights Of Hanoi, was there dueling her.

"No way…" he said as his eyes began to shake and he gripped his fists. "So this means that…" he looked at them dueling.

"He is responsible."

"Not to mention, they are here." said Kiku and Seigen as they narrowed their eyes at that.

"Looks like we have a guest, huh, Ghost Gal?" asked Varis as he grinned. "And that is a shame, I wanted to see their reactions when he sees all of your monsters being destroyed in your turn with a single card." he said.

A single card?

All of her monsters in her turn?!

What kind of powerful card would that be?

Their arms were shaking, not knowing what card it was. "So, what will it be Ghost Gal, do you have a way to continue your turn?" he asked as Ghost Gal gritted her teeth.

"...no. Go ahead." she said as she had no outs to this.

Soulburner narrowed his eyes at that, as then around his duel disk small bits of data began flowing from the sphere straight towards it. They will understand what that sphere is about in a few short moments.

Turn 6. Varis - 1400 lp - 1 card

"Time for me to end this! I draw!" he yelled as he drew the top card of his deck. He grinned maliciously as he immediately activated it, "I activate Spellbook From The Pot!" the card materialized in front of them, "Thanks to this card, we both can now draw 3 cards, so I hope you have something to stop my plays." he said as both of them drew 3 cards from their decks.

Ghost Gal narrowed her eyes at the current situation about her hand. She had 2 Traps, Altergeist Kunquery and Altergeist Marionetter in her hand, nothing that could technically stop him from playing anything.

However, she has something to allow her to have back her strongest monster and it was now or never! "Before you continue your turn, I will activate my Altergeist Manifestation!" she yelled as her trap card revealed itself, "Thanks to it, I can now special summon an Altergeist monster from my graveyard, and the monster I choose is-"

"You will do no such thing!" all of them looked at Varis as soon as he yelled, "Your Trap won't do anything, but hinder you and strengthen me! Go! A Trap from my hand, Red Reboot!" he yelled as they gasped in shock.

"From the hand?!" yelled Soulburner as he widened his eyes.

"That is illegal!" yelled Ghost Gal as Varis laughed.

"Oh it isn't, Ghost Gal, because of one reason, I can pay half of my life points to activate its effect from my hand," he said as he began to glow red for a bit as they realized it was the perfect card for his Skill.

Ghost Gal: 1800 lp

Varis: 1400 - 700 lp

"Here is the effect! When you activate a Trap, I can negate that effect and reset the card back to its original state," he said as then the card was vertically set back to its original state, "Including the fact that you can set any Trap that you would like from your deck to your field." Varis said as Ghost Gal narrowed her eyes.

"Any card?" a card appeared on her duel disk as she took it. It was her Call Of The Haunted Trap card, a pretty decent card that would help her in any situation she could, as then the card was set vertically behind her, "You made a pretty bad choice to negate my Manifestation, buddy."

"I didn't, because Red Reboot's final effect kicks in! For the entire turn, you can not activate any Traps!" he yelled as they gasped at the sheer power of that single Counter Trap.

"However, I think that should be your last concern," he said as they all waited in anticipation, as this time, they all knew his Skill all too well, as it was a Skill that only Ignis users can have, and he can use it without a single problem. Data appeared all around his hands as it first started off like a small hurricane, but then it grew, and grew," I activate my Skill! Storm Access!" he yelled as he threw the data from his hands as then a hurricane appeared in the arena between these two.

The Data Storm that Flame usually creates were powerful but these… these were on a whole different level of power. This Data Storm created by Varis might as well surpass the Dark Ignis' strength in creating Data Storms, as Ghost Gal tried her hardest to even stay on her hoverboard, as Soulburner and Flame could feel it, outside of the arena.

The data around them were going all around the arena, as it was almost creating a crack in the sphere from the sheer pressure of this entire thing, "Storm Access allows me to add 1 random Cyberse monster from this storm into my Extra Deck if my life points are 1000 or less!" he yelled as he pushed his arm through it, "I can feel this one is powerful to a whole different level!"

As then he could see from the storm a long dragon like monster going around him as then it went towards his arm as he yelled, "STORM ACCESS!" as then a single card was created as Varis saw it… and his grin was something to be afraid off.

The Data Storm disappeared as he looked at the card, "Oh, it is a Link-3 monster? Not to worry, as this was powerful enough for me!" he yelled as he then swiped his hand, "I activate Link Recovery! I can special summon a Link monster from my graveyard, so appear, Booster Dragon!"

A portal appeared beside him as then Booster Dragon went through it as he was beside Varis.

"Link Recovery allows you to draw cards equal to the amount of difference of its Link Arrows with the number of monsters you have on the field, meaning you can draw 2 cards." he said as Ghost Gal drew two cards from her deck. She looked at them and narrowed her eyes.

They were 2 Spell cards. It didn't help during this turn!

"Additionally, Link monsters that had the special summoned monster as Link Material can't attack, but that won't matter during this turn," he said as he took a card from his hand, "Now, I will summon my Estrangement Dragon!"

A dragon that was quite slender and long that had scales that wer brown, with yellow eyes, long ears that were purple, with the bottom part of his body being white, with having two eyes on the body, one green and one red appeared on the field.

(Estrangement Dragon: Level 4 - Dark Dragon - Attack: 1500. Defense: 1500.)

Soulburner looked at Flame, who was quickly getting as much data as he could in a short time, as this was something that was extremely important. They looked back as they were sure that the duel is going to be finished in a few moments.

"I will tell you something, you will be the first one seeing the monster I got from the Data Storm! I manifest my circuit for the last time!" he yelled as data appeared all around his hands as he then threw his hand out to reveal a circuit, "The Summoning Conditions are at least 2 Effect monsters! So I will set my Link-2 Booster Dragon with my Estrangement Dragon in the Link Arrows!" he roared as then two were turned into bullets as they flew straight towards the circuit's Link Arrows.

Varis then began to chant, "Come forth! The legendary beast of destruction that slashes all of the Cyberse into pieces as no defense can stop it! I Link Summon! Link-3, Topologic Trisbaena!" he yelled as then from the circuit appeared another one of the stronger Cyberse monsters, as it was a massive slender dragon that looked like a machine monster, as the feet were like wheels to a motorcycle and had guns around it, as the arms were long and white, with claws sharp as swords, with the wings being like that of speakers, with the head having two long ears and blue eyes.

Flame looked in fear of that powerful beast.

Everyone watched in horror of this powerful beast of destruction was on the field. Sure it wasn't as powerful looking as Bomber Dragon, but it was still a Topologic Dragon, one of the most destructive monsters in the game and in the world of the Cyberse monsters? They were the scariest.

It may seem like one of the more tamer ones, but that was because it was the newest one and definitely one of the more advance ones to attack as if you wanted it to destroy it, never set a card face down.

Ever.

"This monster… will be your end!" yelled Varis as he looked at Ghost Gal. Trisbaena looked at her Spell and Trap cards and it roared in power.

"Oh yeah, how so?! You can't attack me thanks to your Link Recovery!" yelled Ghost Gal.

"Fool! I don't need to attack you to win! Topologic Trisbaena will destroy every hope you have of winning this duel!" he yelled as he swiped his hand, "Since I control a Link-3 monster, which Topologic Trisbaena is, I can special summon Drop Draco in one of its Link Arrows!" he yelled.

A bird-like dragon appeared on the field, as the wings were wide as they were metallic with a blue coat of paint.

(Drop Draco: Level 5 - Dark Dragon - Attack: 1000. Defense: 2200.)

"No… no… no! Ghost Gal, tell me that you have a card that negates effect damage!" Flame yelled as Ghost Gal shook her head.

"No! Why?!" she yelled as Flame dropped his hands.

"Because of the effect of Trisbaena! It… means you lost." said Flame as Soulburner looked at him in shock.

Before he could ask why, Varis told everyone why her fate was sealed, "You played a good duel, but the difference between you and I is ginormous! When a monster is special summoned one of the zones that it points to, it is banished!" large claws appeared in one of its hands as it slashed Drop Draco into pieces.

"Not to mention, every and all Spell and Traps are banished as well, including my Boot Sector Launch!" he yelled as his Field Spell appeared and was slashed in a matter of seconds. It turned around and flew towards Ghost Gal's Spell and Trap zones and slashed all of them.

"All of my defense was wiped away!" yelled Ghost Gal.

"That should be your last concern! Topologic Trisbaena's last effect activates! It deals you damage for every banished Spell and Trap card it banished!" Their eyes widened at that as Ghost Gal widened her eyes at that, "Exile's Retribution!"

"No, that means… I lost." she said as Trisbaena flew straight towards her as like it was a bullet in a calm storm of malice as she watched in horror as Trisbaena raised its claws at her and then slashed her in a quick motion as they watched as she flew straight to a wall.

She fell on the ground as Soulburner, Flame, Seigen and Kiku all watched in horror as she was barely conscious after that attack.

The duel between Ghost Gal and Varis, the Leader of the Knights of Hanoi, was finished as it was nothing more than a massacre for the former's part as it almost seemed like it was impossible to get through.

It seemed like the entire duel, he was the one in control as every turn was just to get around through 1 of his monsters and him destroying all of her defenses with nothing more than a breeze. It was tough to understand how one man like him was able to get this strong.

Topologic Trisbaena roared in victory as then it disappeared as it was still a hologram, as Varis raised his hand as the monster went into his duel disk. "You were a helpful monster, I thank you for your help." he heard the monster growl in acceptance. Happy to get a master that would understand its lust of destruction.

He then turned his attention to the defeated Ghost Gal and the man he wanted to defeat the most and the destroy the Ignis, Soulburner and Flame, as the former tried his hardest to break through the gate so he could save her, not wanting to stay with the fact that she will be turned into data.

"Ghost Gal! Are you alright?!" yelled Soulburner as he tried his hardest to open the gates with his sheer strength, but it was nearly impossible to open it.

"Soulburner, ugh, out of everyone that could've watched me lose, it had to be you." she sighed, "Look, I don't have enough time to tell you something."

"Don't say that! I can open this up quite easily! You don't have to worry!" he yelled as he tried his hardest to open up the gate.

"Please, save your effort on this, please, you don't have to worry." she said as he looked at her.

"Are you insane!? I got this!" he yelled.

"For goodness' sake, listen to me!" yelled Ghost Gal as they looked at her, "I don't have much time, and this entire thing, this operation is all of the Knights of Hanoi's doing," they narrowed their eyes at that, "I am sorry. I couldn't get any info about this massive sphere here, but what I do know is that it is dangerous! You need to be on your guard no matter what." she said.

Varis looked at them and crossed his arms. She wasn't wrong per say, but their guards wouldn't be enough to know where they would be.

"I couldn't get any info as my fireflies were almost fried just getting near it, but judging your duel disk is glowing, you guys have done a better job," they then saw her legs began to disappear or more accurately, being turned into data.

"One last thing, Varis… Varis has a card that all you should be worried," the data was going to her stomach as she began to disappear fast, "The card can destroy Link Monsters without any trouble, it is a Trap card! The name of the card is-"

However, she couldn't finish her sentence as the last remaining data she had on her disappeared and was sucked into the sphere as fast as it did.

"Ghost Gal!" he yelled as he threw his hand towards her, but it was too late, she already disappeared.

"All of her data disappeared! She might… might not ever wake up!" yelled Flame as he covered his mouth from this.

"That is correct, Fire Ignis, and it has been a while, isn't it?" asked Varis as he jumped from his hoverboard. He had a grin on his face when he said that.

"Varis! How could you?! This is low, even for you!" yelled Soulburner as Varis wasn't afraid at all.

"Really? I couldn't really tell, but what will tell you that this was just the start? The start of a new era of peace for all of humanity. Sure, you might not see it as that, but if you were in my shoes… this will be the only solution." he said as he narrowed his eyes.

"That is a lot of bull! This can't be the only solution! You are using people's data for this project?! To get Flame!?" he yelled.

"That is right, but here is the thing. You, the Ignis, or anyone that isn't me knows about the truth of the Ignis, and this will be the best solution you can think of." he said as they were confused about that, even Flame.

"What are you talking about?" he asked.

"Wouldn't you like to know? If you want to know, duel me, defeat me, and you will find out, but that is impossible." he said as he turned around, "Tower of Hanoi! COMMENCE!" he yelled as he raised his hand and snapped his fingers.

Then… Armageddon has truly begun.

The entire Link VRAINS server began to shake like a Magnitude 10 earthquake.

The ceiling began crashing down on everyone.

The entire thing was collapsing.

The sphere was becoming more of a shape. Not a sphere, but a tower.

A tower to destroy everything with electricity.

Varis looked back, "Good luck, everyone." he said as he logged out to a different place in Link VRAINS.

"Varis! You son of a- Flame, we have to find out what it is, now!" Soulburner yelled as Flame nodded.

They logged out.

As they will find out what will happen.

DONE! BOOM! BAM! BOP! This chapter is finally finished and good golly do I feel good! Sorry for the long wait everyone, 4 chapters of my other fanfictions were pretty hard to write, especially that Klaus, Mimosa and Yuno vs Luth chapter, yikes, but I am back on my grind! What better way to start the new year, but with a new chapter of Bring The Heat!

Okay, so alot of things have happened in this chapter, with some dub jokes that I loved to write, a duel that took a long time getting through and a brand new scene with the data monster.

The duel in canon was actually pretty darn cool as I enjoyed a lot of the combos there with Twin Triangle Dragon into Topologic Bomber Dragon as I did enjoy how Emma was able to get through Varis' monsters in that duel, with even Red Reboot coming into play. Topologic Trisbaena (A really hard monster to write the name of) is pretty cool honestly, I enjoy the effect and look of this thing very much, as I realize this card would be pretty good against Windy's deck. Huh. This boy will be summoned… probably before the Season Finale duel since I planned Varis vs Gore and the Season Finale, and those two duels don't have him, so I hope to add this bad boy.

I bet none of you thought I would add Borrelcode Dragon into this duel, huh? Well good luck, because I think I will also add it in the penultimate duel in this season, as I think it was a cool idea to introduce a monster that Varis made on his own with his intelligence as a combo of this card. I will add the Rokket Talker monster in Season 2 to Playmaker. Also early Borrelsword Dragon, let's gooooo!

The data monster that Soulburner fought was based around the Arrancar form of Grand Fisher in Bleach because the situation was honestly a fitting where they battled, and Soulburner fighting him was a direct reference with Magna Swing from Black Clover.

I have been playing some Pokemon Unbound Randomizer, it is a mixed bag honestly, and a bit of Master Duel with the Salamangreats and Code Talkers (Can you tell I love Yugioh Vrains?) and been watching some Bleach. Currently at the time where Ichigo is fighting Grimmjow with his Hollow Mask, been really enjoying it. You could suspect some Bleach references here and there as it is my current favourite of the Big Three, even though I have watched like 2 episodes of One Piece.

Next chapter is going to be explaining the Tower of Hanoi and a full duel between Kitamura and Specter that we have never seen, as the end will have the start of the Specter duel that some of you will be interested in.
