Thor sits on the carcass of a large dead alien. He has his hands on his temples as Storm Bringer sits in front of him, impaled in the dirt. The sound of Thanos' army fighting to retreat can still be heard in the distance.
"I don't get it." Thor says out loud. "I hit him, he still managed to use the gauntlet, and he turns everyone into girls."
"Not everyone," Black Widow adds in his new deep voice.
"Yes, clearly." Thor replies matter of factly gesturing toward Black Widow.
A very feminine Captain America with bright blonde curls is sitting in the dirt not far from Thor. She is rubbing her chest and looking at her hands. "We don't know for sure if it was him. "She says. "But it would be one hell of a coincidence."
"I just don't get it!" Thor continues to ramble. "He was right in front of me. He could have done anything. Then he turned into a girl."
"He turned into a girl?" Captain America asks, surprised.
"Yes!" Thor answers. "He was just kneeling there, axe in the chest, and suddenly boobs!" Thor makes a lewd gesture to imply large breasts suddenly sprouted from his chest.
"Why would he turn himself into a girl?" Black Widow asks. His arms are crossed concealing exposed chest hair. Black Widow clearly had to unzip his suit to accommodate his new broad shoulders.
"It certainly doesn't make a lot of sense." Captain America responds, still rubbing her chest.
"Hey guys!" Bruce Banner shouts in a very girly voice. She is climbing out of the Hulk Buster and hopping from stone to stone trying to reach steady ground. When she finally reaches the grass she runs daintily toward the others. "Tony said he's on his way."
Black Widow is looking at Bruce with concern. "Don't run like that, please."
"What?" Bruce responds. "I'm not used to this tiny body." She gestures to herself using the back of both hands. "If you recall, I'm used to going the other way when it comes to transforming."
Black Widow just shakes his head. None of the others seem to notice the change in Bruce's mannerisms.
"Is he... she going to be OK?" Bruce asks, referencing Wanda who is also sitting on the ground cradling Vision's lifeless body. He is caressing Vision's face as tears fall over him.
"She's in shock." Black Widow answers. "If you had seen what happened, you would understand. Give her some time."
"Hey Cap, we've got inbound." Falcon suddenly interrupts the group as he comes flying in.
Captain America slowly gets to her feet as Iron Man comes flying in. Steve picks up her shield, concerned things could get ugly. Iron Man is carrying a large muscular man in his hands whom he sets down before landing himself.
Tony looks to Thor, Black Widow, then finally Captain America before lowering his helmet and speaking. "At ease Captain, we have bigger problems to worry about."
Steve Rogers is still tense. "I'm just surprised you even showed up."
"Hey, Shirley Temple, while you were here playing planetary hide and seek, I had my ass handed to with a literal moon." Tony winces in pain at his own outburst. Captain America notices and his expression changes to concern.
Tony tries to stay angry but the face Rogers is making is very attractive. 'Were his eyes always that blue?' Iron Man wonders.
"Tony," Natasha Breaks the tension. "What's going on? Who's this?"
Tony studies Natasha for a moment and still feels the need to ask, "Natasha?" Black Widow crosses his arms tighter and nods. Tony looks down and nods back before responding.
"Everyone, this is Thanos' daughter. Thanos' daughter, the Avengers."
Dr. Banner walks up along Nebula who towers over Bruce, and looks up confused. "Thanos' daughter?"
"By Asgard..." Thor exclaims, shocked. "Nebula?"
"Yes." Nebula answers.
Thor stands up and places his hand on Storm Bringer. "You're a wanted..." He studies Nebula for a moment. "Man...?"
Iron Man places out his hand to calm Thor. "Hey! Now's not the time. He's on our side now."
Nebula does not bother to fix Tony's mistake. The gender change clearly does not bother him one bit.
Thor, still resting his hand on his weapon, takes a step back and starts to sit again. "No matter." he says. "Asgard is no more. I'd have no prison to take you to." He plops down on the alien carcass which makes a flatulent like noise as Thor reclines.
"So, what's going on Tony?" Steve Rogers asks, getting back to the subject.
Small metal legs protrude from the back of Tony's suit and stick into the dirt. Tony uses them like a chair, allowing himself to sit with a pained grunt.
"We think Thanos made a mistake." He answers. "According to him," referring to Nebula, "Thanos once wanted to change everyone's gender. According to Thanos, he wanted to kill half of all life in the Universe. We think he may have gotten his wires crossed somewhere."
"Don't you mean, She got her wires crossed?" Thor says jokingly as he snickers.
"She?" Nebula asks, very shocked.
"Yep, I saw it myself" Thor answers."I had my axe planted straight into his chest, and then it bounced right off his plump new bosoms. Her bosoms, sorry." Thor smiles brightly, now thoroughly enjoying the conversation.
"So he did fail his mission." Nebula says mostly to himself.
"That he did." Thor says amused now.
"In any case," Tony steps in again. "We have to find him and stop him, before he can use it again, before he can succeed with his original wish."
"Why hasn't he used it again?" Black Widow asks. "He's had some time now. Couldn't he just snap again?"
"Maybe not." Thor answers. "After that first snap, it exhausted him. The gauntlet looked like it healed him, but he was still weak. Not only that, it totaled the glove. I'm not sure if he can still use it."
"So we might still have some time." Tony adds. "If we're going to beat him, it's going to require everything we've got. I mean all of us, everyone we can get."
"How are we going to even find him, Tony?" Bruce interrupts. She has to peer around Nebula because of their size difference.
"I can find him." Nebula answers. Bruce tries to look up into Nebula's eyes and stumbles because she needs to take a step back. Nebula is looking down toward Bruce who feels in awe of his size. "There are a lot of places my father could be, but if he needs to recover somewhere safe, there is only one place he would think to go."
"Back to home base." Tony says.
"Yes." Nebula responds. "He is most likely in Sanctuary, surrounded by his Chitauri warriors and the black order, my siblings."
"Oh, they're dead." Thor interrupts, surprising Nebula. "Corvus Glaive is laying over there." Thor points to a body, "Bruce literally exploded the big guy. Props for that little buddy." He says with a wink and a thumbs up.
"Thanks." Bruce says and blushes. This time Tony notices Bruce's behavior and makes a concerned face.
Thor continues, "I didn't see what happened to your sister, but I'm sure this one didn't go easy on her." He points to Black Widow who nods.
"If it's who I think it was, she's not getting up." Natasha adds.
Nebula thinks for a moment. "Stark and the boy say they killed Maul, then that leaves Super Giant."
"Super Giant?" Bruce asks, nervously.
"My father wouldn't send all of us." Nebula answers. "He would have left someone at Sanctuary, just in case. Who better than Super Giant. She can still help from afar."
"Great." Tony jumps in. "So we get a ship, you lead us to this planet Sanctuary, we sneak past his army, take out his kid, and take back the gauntlet before he can recover."
"She can recover." Thor adds with a humored grin. Tony just gives him a "not now" face.
"It's not that simple." Nebula answers. "Sanctuary is not a planet. It's an asteroid field. It would take us forever to find him without help, and my sister would find us long before we're even close. She is the reason Thanos knows everything."
"So it's hopeless then?" Bruce asks teary eyed. "We just wait until Thanos recovers and finishes the job?"
"I'm not giving up." Tony protests. "If he uses the gauntlet again, we just take it away and undo all his wishes. I don't care how long it takes."
"I'm not giving up either." Captain America says as she stands up. The leather from her suit squeaks and she graps her chest.
"Well," Thor chimes in. "I've got no other plans." He stands also.
Nebula looks towards Thor and is surprised to see no animosity. "If it leads me one step closer to killing my father, I will help." Nebula says.
They look toward Black Widow who nods and says, "I'm in."
Bruce makes a whiny noise before joining them, "I don't know what's even going on anymore, but what the hell." She puts her hand out as a go team gesture. Several of them look at her like she is crazy.
Bruce takes a step back embarrassed but before she can take back her hand, Captain America joins him. Thor smirks, whispers "OK, and walks up to join them. Black Widow, Falcon, and Nebula join also. They look too Tony.
He hesitates to think before giving in. "Ok, fine. I guess the team's back together." Tony places his hand on top and they do a little shake.
"Avengers." Tony and Captain America say at the same time. This time the Captain blushes. Tony looks at him and shakes his head to imply, 'Don't do that.' before turning away. "Alright, now we have to find everyone else."
"I came with the rabbit and the tree." Thor adds. "Hey rabbit!" Thor shouts. "Where are you."
As they all start to group and look for others Black Widow walks directly toward Steve Rogers. "Captain, come here." Natasha calls.
Black Widow pulls out a blade from his suit and before Captain American can say anything, He cuts into the sternum of her suit. Natasha raises the blade upward toward the collar and with a pop the captain's breasts push out revealing a lot of cleavage. Captain America takes a deep breath.
"Better?" Romanoff asks.
Steve Rogers looks down at her fresh new boobs, then back to Natasha. "Yes, actually." She crosses her arms to cover her cleavage, very similar to how Natasha was doing moments earlier.
Natasha looks at Steve's shy actions and says, "Yea, I know. Come on, let's go find the others." The Captain blushes and follows Natasha.
***a few minutes pass***
"Ah, there you are." Thor says with a twinge of relief.
"I am Groot." Groot answers.
"Have you seen the rabbit?" Thor asks.
"I am Groot."
"Really?" Thor says with feigned fascination. "Where?"
Groot points to some bushes not too far away. "I am Groot."
"Alright I'll get him." Thor answers. He smirks and walks away. Groot starts to follow.
As Thor approaches the bushes, he can clearly see someone or something hiding in them. "Is that you Rocket?" Thor asks.
"Go away!" Rocket responds with a very child like voice.
"Come on buddy, it's not that bad." Thor answers as he kneels down near the bushes.
"I said, go away!" Rocket shouts.
"Now, don't act like that. It's happening to everyone." Thor says.
"I am Groot." Groot chimes in.
"Not everyone! You're fine." Rocket answers.
"OK well, half of everyone." Thor corrects. "You should see Nebula. He's huge!"
"Really?" Rocket responds.
"Yes. Come on out. Let's take a look at you." Thor Says with a smile.
Rocket raises her head for a moment thinks about it, then slowly unfurls from a curled position. She climbs out on all fours before standing on her hind legs somewhat hunched.
Thor looks at her and his face turns into a disappointed frown.
"What? Is... is that bad?" Rocket asks.
"You look the same." Thor answers.
"What!?" Rocket shouts and points at Thor. "No, I don't look the same. Look at me! I'm a lot smaller, my fur is a different color, and my nipples are huge!"
Thor studies Rocket over briefly before saying, "I didn't even know rabbits had nipples."
"I'm not a rabbit, you gorilla!" Rocket snaps and tries to slap Thor, who just dodges it and snickers.
"I really can't see the difference." Thor tells her.
"I am Groot." Groot comments.
"What!?" Rocket responds. He looks back toward his tail and grabs it. "No! No, no!"
"It's not that small, now." Thor defends.
"What would you know?!" Rocket snaps.
"I am Groot."
Rocket turns to Groot. "You, shut up! Go play your game!" Groot just shrugs and starts looking around.
"Come on," Thor interrupts. "Let's go look for the others." Rocket just grabs her tail and studies it while she follows Thor, Groot trailing behind.
"Maybe I can dye it." Rocket says sadly to herself.
