Peter Quill found herself wrapped in Gamora's arms. They sat on a long chaise lounge that appeared gold and red in the light. The room they were in was dimly lit, like sunset on a palm tree covered beach. Despite there not being an ocean, the sound of water seemed to lightly fill the room.
"Why weren't you ever like this before?" Peter asks Gamora, leaning her head back into Gamora's left shoulder.
She shrugs her right shoulder before answering. "I don't know. You've never been this cute before." Gamora presses her cheek against Star-Lord's temple, embracing her firmly.
"What do you mean, I wasn't cute?" Peter pouts.
"Don't be like that." Gamora answers as she pulls Peter in closer. Her right arm which was resting across Star-Lord's waist moves up and begins to lovingly cradle Peter's breasts.
"Please... stop..." Peter moans as she grips the sides of the chaise, not making any attempts to stop Gamora.
"Peter." Gamora addresses Star-Lord, now looking lovingly into her eyes. "I know you want this." Her right hand slowly moves up the curve of Star-Lords breast, ending with her palm perfectly centered on Peter's right nipple.
Peter closes her eyes softly and can't resist breathing heavily. Without warning, Gamora starts shaking Star-Lord's boob. The surprise and shock causes Peter to buck her head back and hit the wall, waking her up. She reaches up to grab a hand or wrist that shouldn't be there, and catches one anyway.
Star-Lord opens her eyes and has to strain to focus before realizing someone is standing over her. "Mantis!" Peter shouts. "What are you doing?"
"I'm sorry Mr. Quill." Mantis answers. "I was trying to wake you up, and I heard you talking, and you looked so pleasant, and I wanted to feel..." Mantis looks down at his hand resting on Peter's right boob.
Peter can tell Mantis is clearly rambling and it takes her a moment to realize that Mantis' hand is still resting on Peter's left breast. It isn't until Peter follows Mantis' eyes that she realizes Mantis can't pull away because Peter is clinging to his arm. She lets go and they break away from each other abruptly.
"Why were you touching me?" Peter asks, annoyed.
"I don't know what to do Mr. Quill. You don't want to talk about this, and I've never been in love before, and I wanted to know how you felt, but you keep thinking about..."
"You're not in love with me!" Peter snaps.
"But Drax says..." Mantis protests.
"Don't listen to Drax!" Peter interrupts. "He doesn't know what he's talking about. You're just... horny, that's all."
"I don't have a horn right now..." Mantis answers.
Peter grabs her temples and whispers in frustration. "Oh my god" After a few seconds she lowers her hand and looks at Mantis. "Please tell me you didn't just come in here to feel me up, because that's illegal on some planets. A looot of them."
"No Peter," Mantis responds. "We got a distress beacon."
Peter thinks about the news for a second and begins to lay back down again. "Well, ignore it." She responds. "The last distress beacon we answered didn't end so well."
"Oh..." Mantis says suddenly looking away. "Drax is already talking to them."
"What?!" Star-Lord exclaims. "No. No. No. No!" She says as she jumps up and pushes her way past Mantis.
Peter makes her way to the front of the ship to witness Drax, still topless, conversing with a creature she had never seen before.
"That's impressive." The creature tells Drax. "I mean, my race does something similar, but we mostly just blend into the environment."
"Drax!" Peter interrupts them. "What are you doing?"
Drax points to the screen, but before she can get a word in, the creature starts talking. "Hello. I'm Korg. I'm a rock. This here is my associate Meek." The creature pulls another, blobby looking, creature onto the screen momentarily. "We are in distress, and..."
"Get out of the way!" someone verbally snaps from off screen. Two large hands appear momentarily and push Korg away.
"Hey, that actually hurt." Korg can be heard saying off screen.
A new face appears on the screen. It is a thin chisel chinned man with white warpaint markings symmetrically drawn on his face. He's not very tall, but he still appears very intimidating. He has long thick black hair which does well to compliment his intimidating appearance.
The intimidating man looks Peter up and down briefly before speaking. "You're Terran aren't you?"
"Yes." Peter answers with a confused look on her face.
"Are you the captain?" The man asks.
"Yes, I am." Peter tries to answer confidently.
"We're looking for Earth." The man responds. "Do you happen to know where that is?"
"Earth... is Terra." Star-Lord answers, taken aback by the man's bluntness.
"Of course it's Terra!" The man snaps as he raises his hands in frustration and walks off screen leaving a confused meek standing partially within view.
Korg slowly makes his way back onto the screen. "Sorry about that." Korg says. "That's Valkyrie. She's an Asgardian. She used to be a girl. She's been having a bad week and I believe she is suffering from ethanol withdrawal."
"I am not suffering from withdrawal!" Valkyrie can be heard shouting from a distance and quickly approaching. He rushes back to Korg and starts pushing him again and again with each point. "In the last week, I've lost my job, been chased by a crazed Dictator, tried to save my world from a psycho monster chick, watched it get destroyed anyway by another monster, got my ass handed to me by a Titan, and watched half of my people get murdered! So excuse me if I need a drink!" Korg stumbles to the ground.
"Ok, ok." Korg says in an attempt to calm Valkyrie, who now turns back to the screen.
"Do you have any wine?" He asks.
"No!" Peter answers a little too quickly. Valkyrie storms off accepting the answer.
"Geez," Korg says as he slowly gets to his feet. "He's stronger than he looks." Once he's back on screen he looks at the Guardians. "So anyway. We're going to Terra. Wanna come?"
"That's where we're going!" Mantis answers before Peter can protest.
"Yes." Drax agrees with a nod.
Peter makes a gesture to show her disapproval to their comments. No one seems to notice.
It's been a week since the changes. Captain America is strolling down a brick path, while Wakandan children follow her. Despite spending some time in Wakanda, she still has not learned the language, so she can only answer the childrens' questions with simple waves and greetings.
It doesn't take long for her to reach her destination. More than a handful of children are hanging onto and clinging to the only other super soldier in Wakanda.
"You would think, after two years, they'd be bored of me by now." Bucky says as he stands up from kneeling with the children."
"Most kids know a good soul when they see one." Steve Rogers responds. "It doesn't matter where in the world you are. You ready?"
"Always ready." Bucky says, looking Steve up and down, who is wearing tight gray sweatpants and a tight white shirt.. "You still wearing that shirt?"
"Standard issue." Steve answers.
"Yea, but you haven't been a standard soldier for some time." Bucky replies. "Plus, it's a little revealing... with the changes and all." Almost as if on cue, one of the braver little boys reached up and poked the side of Captain America's left boob. She gently removes his hand as the other kids giggle.
"What do you expect me to wear, Buck?" Steve asks, a little flustered.
"I don't know," Bucky responds. "Maybe something with a little more back support." He smirks as he says it.
Captain America smiles when she realizes she's being teased. "Something tells me my back can handle it. Come on, let's go." Both her and Bucky start to jog down the road. Despite Wakanda having such advanced technology the natural aesthetic makes it feel like a quiet village. The bricks end and the two continue jogging down a dirt trail, several children are following them.
Normally Stever Rogers runs at a very brisk pace, but ever since she started joining Bucky, she had to get used to slowing down for the children. She turned to look at Bucky's face, trying to read his thoughts. One of the children dashed ahead playfully outrunning them both making Bucky smile. Captain America caught herself wondering if Bucky Barnes had always been so good with children or if Wakanda had changed him.
As the child slowed down and matched pace, Bucky ruffled his hair and smiled. A little girl who was following squeezed in between Barnes and Rogers and started feeling Bucky's vibranium arm. Bucky turned and smiled at her, then his eyes darted up to Steve's very jaunty chest. His gaze lingered a little too long, yet Steve didn't seem to notice. When Bucky looked up and noticed he was being watched also, he turned away quickly, blushing.
"Don't tell me you're getting winded already?" Steve asks, completely oblivious to what just happened. Bucky picks up his pace a little, avoiding the question. They continue running for quite some distance, and once the children drop out, the two runners dramatically pick up the pace.
They eventually reach the battlefield where the invasion took place. The normally wide open plain is full with workers.
Steve and Bucky turn away from the shield planning to go around the workers, but Steve gets distracted by something. Not too far from a temporary exit made in the shield, there is a group of people huddled together having a discussion. Steve points at the group and both her and Bucky make a detour.
As Steve and Bucky approach, a couple of Wakandan guards contemplate stopping them for a moment, after a brief word from Bucky, they choose not to.
"You speak Wakandan?" Steve Rogers asks Bucky.
"After learning six languages," Bucky answers. "It gets pretty easy to pick up others." Steve nods, genuinely impressed.
They make their way to a large open canopy to the group of people Rogers noticed earlier.
"On your left." Captain America says as she works her way into the group.
"Steve!" Sam Wilson responds and quickly moves in for a hug. The moment quickly turns awkward as they try to maneuver their way around Steve's large breasts. The confused shuffle causes Sam to brush the Captain's nipples and their new sensitivity causes her to blush vibrantly. They choose to give each other a shoulder hug.
"It's great to see you again, Cap." Rhodey says, moving in for a handshake.
"Colonel." Captain American addresses him with a nod, while giving him a one armed bro hug. When they release each other they see Bucky and Sam shaking hands. Despite the peaceful gesture, they're clearly sizing each other up. Their gaze lingers a moment before they turn to Steve and James Rhodes.
"What are you wearing?" Rhodes asks Steve as they look back to each other.
"You too?" Steve asks. "I don't have many options that'll make much of a difference."
"I'm sure he's used to this one staring anyway." Sam Wilson says while gesturing toward Bucky.
"What's that supposed to mean!" Bucky snaps back somewhat startled. He manages to resist blushing, but Sam Wilson seems to pick up on the nervous tension. He gives Bucky a concerned studious look.
"Are you going to be okay helping us out?" Sam Wilson starts asking as he slowly turns away and looks toward James Rhodes. "Especially with, you know..." He gestures toward Captain America, Bucky, and himself.
"It'll be fine." Rhodes answers. "As far as Ross and the US Government are concerned, I am here diplomatically to help with recovery and threat assessment."
"That's good." Stever Rogers adds. "What do they have you working on here?"
Rhodes turns back to the table they're working on and there is a three dimensional display of one of the Outrider Drop Ships. "We're trying to figure out how to get one of these off the ground." Rhodes tells Steve. "While Wakanda may have some advanced flight technology, they've never worked with this type of alien tech."
"So they're lucky they got you." Steve says with a nod. "I didn't know you worked with this stuff."
Rhodes nods. "Tony Stark, General Ross, the US Government, and any criminal who specializes in weapons wants to get their hands on this stuff. Even Falcon's suit has some of the things we've learned integrated into it."
"Huh? What?" Sam Wilson responds from behind Captain America, in surprise. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention." No one notices what was distracting him, but now Bucky is alert and watching Sam.
"Your suit." James Rhodes tells Sam. "The engine was designed after alien tech."
"Yeah, yeah. It uses the propulsion system, but I didn't want any of those alien orbs." Falcon answers. "Those things are like hair-trigger grenades."
"Hair-trigger grenades?" Steve askes Rhodes with concern.
"Yeah, they release power when exposed to radiation." Rhodes starts explaining. "Too much of it, and they explode."
Steve Rogers continues to question Rhodes and as soon as the conversation steers away from him, Sam lets his mind wander again, along with his eyes. First on Captain America's back. He notices the base of Captain's hair tends to jut upward before falling back down into a mess of curls. It reminds him of Shirley temple.
Sam's eyes move down toward the Captain's back, and notices her shoulder blades protrude in a very attractive way. 'That's not very common.' Sam thinks. His eyes trace her ribs and as the Captain raises her right arm to point at something allowing Sam to get a good view of her side boob. He raises his eyebrows in surprise.
When Captain America lowers her arm Sam's eyes wander back toward her back. He tries tracing the curve through the light shining through her t-shirt, seeing just a little bit of shadow. His eyes continue to explore until they reach Captain America's waist. Falcon drinks in every detail. He notices how her hips only protrude a little, but her butt is very pronounced.
Sam slowly becomes completely focused on the Captain's butt. He admires how round it is. There are no cellulite dimples and it protrudes just enough that she could settle it nicely on a table or chair without actually sitting down. Sam can also Captain's underwear line and for a moment wonders, 'Is she wearing boxer briefs?' He tilts his head slightly to get a better look.
The shuffling of feet is enough to snap the Falcon back to attention. Captain America and James Rhodes are still talking, but when Sam looks up his eyes lock onto Bucky who is clearly glaring at him aggressively.
Sam doesn't know what to say, so he just shrugs his shoulders and lightly gestures toward the Captain. He tries to imply that he couldn't help it, but Bucky is not having any of it. He shakes his head slowly as he continues to glare at Sam Wilson.
Just then Steve turns toward Bucky and catches a glimpse of his glare.
"Buck' what's wrong?" Her gaze ping pongs between Falcon and the Winter Soldier with concern. "Not you guys, too?"
Both of Steve Roger's friends take on an embarrassed look. They feel certain they've both been busted checking her out..
"Listen, I know we've all been through a lot." The Captain starts to explain, before settling her eyes on Sam Wilson. "Everything that Bucky did in his past was not his fault." Both Sam and Bucky try to hide their surprised relief as Captain America starts going into one of her lectures.
"Look,I know things at the airport got carried away and changed our lives. I'm real' grateful that you helped us out back there, Sam."
"Yeah, it was no problem." Sam answers, trying to think of a way to get out of the conversation. He can see Bucky starting to smirk from behind Steve Rogers.
"But you're still letting it affect us, Sam." Captain America continues. "It's like I told Tony. You don't have to like Bucky. You don't have to forgive him. You don't have to..."
"Speaking of Tony!" James Rhodes interrupts the conversation, causing everyone to look up. "Looks like he's heading back this way."
Captain America turns back toward Bucky. "Don't worry. I'll talk to him and make sure he's calm." Steve tells Bucky. Without warning, she gives Bucky a hug, causing him to freeze up. She lets go and looks him in the eyes. "I'm sorry Bucky." She says referring to the way everyone is treating him.
Captain America circles around James Rhodes and jogs up to Tony Stark, T'Challa, Rocket, and Groot who all seem to be walking together. Despite the awkwardness they had just been through, Sam and Bucky both seem to notice the new feminine bounce Steve Rogers has developed while she jots down to the others. Neither seems to notice Rhodey approaching and positioning himself right in between them.
"Do you think you two can stop ogling your best friend every thirty seconds?" Rhodes asks aloud. They both look at him in embarrassed shock, but he doesn't look back at either of them. "You guys are disgusting." He says as he walks away.
