AN: It's getting hot in here! *fans self* Oh, what a chapter ...Hahahaha. And of course more plot development.

I Do Not Own Inuyasha, neither any of the songs listed here.

"General," A man bowed deeply, nearly touching his forehead to the floor. "His tracker has lost signal. We have spent endless nights searching for him. At this point it is believed that he was killed or removed by another demo-..." A whitish-blue electric charge suddenly zapped across from a metallic device shaped like a four-pointed star, completely erasing the body, including his weapons and uniform, of one of the patrol guards of Aoto's assembly. He stood there, observing the blacken ashes of the guard's remains scattered out haphazardly on the floor.

He gazed around the room of each wide-eyed member present who had observed his insouciant response of another report given to him by one of his members. Aoto, now the General of the The Improved order of the Yokai-Konzatsu-sha, had become, over the decades, a ruthless, callous, and blood-thirsty Hanyo. Atticus was now his abettor and right-hand man. Since the death of Touji, Aoto was given rights over the assembly and with the assistance of Atticus, he was also granted with a yokai substance that allowed him to die to himself, becoming half human-half demon. Equally they shared the desire to repossess the lands as supreme beings over the humans- in every way his father Touji was completely against.

It had been days since Aoto heard from one of his accomplices, Ren.

At this present time Aoto, Atticus, and members of the assembly ventured to the United States. Searching for any traces of the Dog-demons, as it had been rumored that they were living amongst there.

"Fix your faces and clean this up. I see that now I will have to make sense of this all." Aoto spat, adjusting the grey colored collar of his uniform and placed the metallic device back in his chest pocket.

A member bowed tremblingly before Aoto, handing him a digital tablet displaying the face of a young woman in her early years. "General, here is the one you requested. She highly admires your greatness and is very willing in more ways than one."

Aoto grasped the tablet, gazing at the picture with contented salacity. "At least someone can get something right around here," he looked up from the tablet. "Bring her in."

Dai, a snake demon who was seated behind Aoto, with his back to a chair, legs opened, smirked wryly. "It's time our General was gifted with another means of delectation. He deserves it after hearing of such a disappointment."

In walked a red-haired young woman with the promiscuity of an unrestrained naive harlot. "My General, I am delighted to be selected for your most intimate services. Your eminence reflects on the great men and yokai of this assembly," the woman disrobed, revealing her curvy-shaped naked body. "I want nothing more than to please you."

Aoto lifted his chin and walked to face her. "Do you swear secrecy?"

The woman bowed again. "Of course, your greatness."

"Then get on your knees. I have had a long day."

Back at Toga's Home Library

"Certainly, Oto-san. Certainly."

"It appears that you have grown fond of this Rin," Toga tilted his head, narrowing his eyes as his silver-colored hair, tied up in long ponytail, swung gently to his side. "Is there more to what she means to you?"

Sesshomaru stared at his father vexed, without fixing his mouth to utter a single word.

Toga sat back down in his seat, interlocking his fingers. "I know that it has taken you centuries to see the value of human life. Even though said humans have been the very ones that have used their means to destroy everything that we have built. Nearly everything that I have maintained for you and Inuyasha. The very thought of a union between Izayoi and I... well, it was never something that this world would openly accept. As well as you, my son."

Sesshomaru scoffed. "Father..."

"...but believe you me, this world that we have been privileged to share with humans, was made for each of us to live and thrive in unity," Toga motioned his right hand for Sesshomaru to sit. Sesshomaru, although reluctantly, sat in the chair across from Toga. "It is true, that in my earlier years, I believed myself to be above the humans. And what kind of Daiyokai wouldn't? However, anyone with half a mind, no matter their strength and agility, would understand that even having the smallest sense of humanity produces the greatest of warriors. Whether you fight in battle, protecting what belongs to you, or you fight in heart," Toga sighed deeply. "As I have taught you and your brother before, no matter if human or yokai, your destined consort, your promised mate, will be everything and more than what you may ignorantly presume."

Sesshomaru paused reflectively, "She's... exceptionally enthralling in her own distinctive way. Carrying the weight of a woman full of unadulterated resolve, unlike the ones you have introduced to me in the past with ephemeral desires and intentions."

Toga casted his lips in a smug, shifting his eyes to the scattered papers on his desk and nodded. "I have never in my years observed you to ever be so open with anyone else as you have been with Miss Rin. Inuyasha has also expressed a few things about your previous interactions with her. I assumed he was mistaken, until I seen it for myself. Do you truly feel that she is someone to protect?"

Sesshomaru gazed off into the rounded window behind his father, contemplatively, furrowing his brows.

"We must ensure that she can be trusted. If our secret reaches her, I fear that it may be quite much for her to handle. You must guard her heart and show her that we can be trusted. That goes the same for Inuyasha," Toga cleared his throat. "... who by the way can come in."

"So, the Great Sesshomaru... in love, then?" Inuyasha teased shifting his right shoulder to the jamb of Toga's home library door. "I never thought I'd see the day. And with a human..."

Sesshomaru darted his eyes at his younger brother, contemptuously.

Inuyasha raised his hands in defense, smiling mischievously. "Hey, like I said. I like Rin. She makes ya' more tolerable. You're different with her. Right, old man?"

"Inuyasha, leave your brother be," Toga asserted, inwardly amused. "Come sit. I will be taking Sesshomaru to have his chip reconfigured and interrogated. And Tsukuyomaru, Shiori, and Jiro will meet us there. There will be and update to our devices."

"You have certainly become the scientist." Sesshomaru stated.

"What kinda update?" Inuyasha asked.

"Because of recent events, we have been testing the chips to enable our scents to be camouflaged as well. Hopefully with that addition, if we run into any other snake demons or any at all, we can strike undetected. The last thing we need is to be openly revealed to the modern eyes of this new aged world."

"Oto-san... your fears are rational." Sesshoumaru agreed, crossing his arms to his chest.

Toga nodded, bringing his palms together. "Let us go then and tonight we shall continue scoping the area."

The sun warmed the sandy shores of Bakers Beach. Heating the earth as the last warm days of the early fall approached. The red Golden Gate Bridge stood over the waters, inviting many tourist and residents alike to the legendary scenery. The long week had finally concluded and today was another Saturday. Another day for Rin and her friends to enjoy some time away from classes.

"This is the last weekend out in the sun," Sango reminded as she exited her 2020 all-white Jeep Wrangler.

Rin exited the backseat, along with Kagome as she stretched her legs and arms. "You know, I've been liking the feeling of getting out more. My brain has been aching from all the constant studying."

"Miroku was nice to invite us out today. Since he's taken Sango a bit more serious, it seems like her friends are always included now." Kagome added smilingly.

"It's much more serious now, actually." Sango informed matter of factly, grinning from ear to ear.

Kagome paused with mouth agape. Rin also looked on stunned, after grabbing several towels from the trunk, at what Sango just shared.

Kagome placed her palm to her chest, dramatically. "Are you guys like... official now?"

Sango blushed and nodded, "Yes, we are actually."

Rin smiled a toothy grin and Kagome leaped into a tight embrace with Sango.

"Finally! The dog has retreated into the house," Rin exclaimed. "I guess we can't call him the 'eye-candy casanova' anymore."

"Oh, I'm so happy to hear that Sango." Kagome squealed.

"I'm sure you both are next!" Sango expressed happily. "Then we could do triple dates. They both are here today, you know."

Rin and Kagome looked at each other, smiling as Rin covered her smile with the back of her left hand.

"I know, Inuyasha told me they'd be here," Kagome shared. "I swear if I see him shirtless, I'm going to break into a thousand little pieces."

Rin's chest tightened, imagining the sight of Sesshomaru possibly shirtless. She bit her lower lip, grabbing the bags from the trunk as Sango closed it. "Do you think they are as brawny as they look?"

"Hells yes!" Kagome replied as they walked towards the sandy shore from the parking lot. She frowned, viewing the scene before them. "Who invited the Betas?"

On the beach were dozens of students, including the Betas, Etas, and some student athletes. Some, what looked like the football players, were tossing a football back and forth. Others playing near a volleyball net that stood to the right of the other players. James, one of the Etas, was currently grilling up some pleasantly fragrant smelling burgers and hotdogs. Some of the Betas were seated under a pink popup tent, as others stood nearby, taking pictures of each other with their cellphones. Some other students were swimming and splashing in the water, whereas others were sprawled out on the beach underneath the sun. Music was currently being played near the grill and a particular song started to play,

*I Like by Guy*

Rin gazed on at the inviting scene before them and her eyes landed on the long silver hair that, as if in slow motion, raised out of the crystalline waters. Sesshomaru lifted his head as his long wet hair tossed back behind his head, flinging droplets of water about. His white bangs clung to his forehead as water dripped down his face, down to his bare neck and perfectly sculpted chest and arms. He closed his eyes, lifting his chin to the ether as he inhaled a deep long breath. Rin at that moment felt every ounce of air escape her lungs, as if he had taken it all in to himself. She squeezed the towels present in her arms, biting her lower lip so hard it nearly punctured. He was blindingly handsome, inside and out. She watched as he gracefully walked out of the waters, staring impassively as ever with an air of absolute confidence. A thrown football suddenly landed in front of them, taring her hungered gaze from Sesshomaru.

Koga walked over, reaching to pick up the ball from the sandy ground. "Sorry 'bout that. Bankotsu doesn't know how to catch a football even if it landed right at his face."

"Maybe don't throw so high? Always showing your ass like it's one of your games," Bankotsu stated as he approached. "Sorry, ladies."

"It's fine," Sango smiled, waving her hand dismissively. "Where's Miroku?"

"He's over there," Koga pointed to where Miroku and Inuyasha stood next to James as they dumbed ice and drinks into a ice pack. Inuyasha was currently chatting with Kikyo as he added in the last pieces of ice. Koga looked to Kagome and smirked, "Kagome, you're still single right?"

Rin rolled her eyes, "Aren't you dating Sheensa, Koga?"

Koga shook his head, annoyed, "No! She's always complaining about the girls that come around. I can't help that everyone wants me."

Kagome scoffed. "And as if I'd be a willing participant. You know how I feel about Inuyasha!" she moved passed him, brushing his shoulder disparagingly. "Come on guys, let's set up our towels and get in the water. It's time I cool off before I find my hand slapping 'someone' in the face."

Rin and Sango marched past him and sat their towels out on the sand. "See what I mean by bloody rakes." Rin implied.

"I wish Sheensa was here. She'd have knocked him on his ass in a split second." Kagome added. "Anyways, I want to see what you both decided to wear today."

Rin looked at her all white see-through swimsuit cover. Removing it revealed an all white triangle shaped bikini top with a riffled trim and a matching thinly shaped bottom. She released her long loosely curled hair from it's bun, tousling it through her fingers. Her jeweled petite waist meshed perfectly with her slightly rounded hips and behind. Her breasts were small but fit her shape perfectly.

"RIN! That's so cute," Kagome exclaimed. "I love it!"

Rin smiled, placing her hands to her chest. "Thank you. Now let's see yours."

Kagome and Sango removed their swimsuit covers. Kagome wore an all red knot bandeau bikini top with a matching bottom. She was slightly more curvy than Rin, with breast filling the band of fabric full. Sango wore a multicolored one-piece that held a dramatic dip behind her, revealing her toned back. Kagome kept her hair tied up in a loose ponytail whereas Sango let her hair fall down her back but brushed all of it over to her side.

Rin smiled at her friends and gazed around at the obvious attention they were drawing from the beach visitors. Her eyes landed on Bankotsu, who had his dark blue orbs fixed on her. She watched perplexed, as she saw a small smile creep at the edge of his lips. He looked down- then slowly looked right back up, flashing the smallest bit of... desire? Rin awkwardly looked away, almost repulsed. Bankotsu was certainly handsome but never had he paid any attention to her before. Although, if she was honest with herself, she or Kagome had rarely spent their hours in leisure. As most of the time their views were nothing but the four walls of the nursing building and their dorm apartments. Being even more honest with herself, Sesshomaru and his brother Inuyasha had certainly made an impact on their limited free time. That motivation was easily granted. As she thought of Sesshoumaru, and his devilishly perfect body, it made every bit of sense in the world.

Every bit ...

*Everybody Talks by Neon Trees*

"Let's go over to Miroku. I'm sure he has a cold ale in there for me." Sango stated as they walked over.

"Kikyos' still talking with Inuyasha," Rin pointed out. "Do you think there's something going on between them two?"

Kagome exhaled in exasperation. "I freakin' hope not."

"Speaking of which..." Rin added and greeted. "Kikyo..."

Kikyo turned from Inuyasha, who had his back to them, and forced a smile. "Rin, Kagome. It's been a while, hasn't it?"

Inuyasha turned around, facing the group, and ravishingly ogled at the barely clothed Kagome and her group of friends. "K-K-Kagome?"

"You know her, Yasha?" Kikyo stared at him questionably.

"Yasha?" Kagome questioned, baffled.

"She's... she's..." Inuyasha gazed astonishingly at Kagome.

Kagome stepped and placed her arm around Inuyasha's neck, drawing him closer to her. "We are well acquainted, actually. Isn't that right Inuyasha?"

Inuyasha's eyes landed on her full rounded breast, nodding, "Uh-huh."

Kikyo crossed her arms to her chest. "Oh... I see," she then tossed several strands of her long black hair towards her back, loftily. "Anyways, it's good to see you again, Kagome. We use to be so close... nonetheless, take care of Yasha for me, 'kay."

Kagome rolled her eyes and huffed.

"See, that's why you both stopped being friends... she's so fake." Sango reminded.

"Kagome," Inuyasha stated, peering at her with apologetic eyes. "Don't worry about her, okay. She means nothing to me."

"As expected." Kagome added with a confident grin.

"Man, you sure know how to draw the ladies in. If Kagome's right hook is as powerful as Sango's I'd watch out," Miroku stated, handing a beer to Sango and placed a quick kiss on her cheek. "Hi, my love. Ladies." He greeted.

Rin chuckled and gazed back over to where Sesshomaru was standing. Currently he was conversing with... Victoria. 'Again?' Rin watched as Victoria chatted away, deeply engaged in her conversation as she grinned from ear to ear up at him. Sesshomaru however, looked on at her imperturbably. His nonchalance did not seem to faze her as she continued on, twirling her fingers in her hair. Sesshomaru clearly sensing someone's eyes on him, looked up to meet Rin directly in the eyes. His orbs inspected every inch of her, yet she could not sense what he was thinking as none of his facial features altered in any way, unlike Inuyasha when he locked eyes with Kagome. Rin felt her entire body warm all over. Which did not help as the already heated sun shined brightly on her face.

Suddenly a young girl, perhaps around twenty years, stepped in front of her line of vision. Her mid-length hair was of a light purple hue. Her lips were colored in a sparkling red gloss. Her face held a youthful glow to it. And she was pleasantly smiling and reached her hand out to Rin.

"Hi, my name is Shiori. I'm a close family friend to Inuyasha and Sesshomaru."

Rin smiled, taking her hand with a shake. She also did the same for Kagome. "Nice to meet you, Shiori," Rin stated. "My name is..."

"You're Rin. And you are Kagome," she finished while Rin and Kagome looked at each other. "They've told me so much about you two."

"They did...?" Kagome questioned incredulously.

"Shiori," Inuyasha spat, narrowing his eyes at her. "Can ya' not."

"Sorry..." Shiori expressed with an apologetic smile. She then leaned over placing the back of her hand to the corner of her mouth and whispered. "They can be quite prideful, ya' know."

Rin and Kagome giggled. "So what brings you out here today?" Rin asked.

"Oh, well I'm attending Scottman now as a sophomore. Just transferred my credits over from my other university in Japan."

"Oh cool, it will be nice having you around then." Kagome stated.

"Yeah, our fathers are working on some important business here and wanted me to come along, so here I am!" Shiori added. "So..." she looked to Rin. "...you must be the one who's stolen Sesshomaru's heart then? And what an intriguing task you have accomplished."

All of the blood in Rin's body rushed toward the center, leaving her skin as pale as the prettily ruffled bikini she wore that barely covered her skin. She was utterly stunned and completely flattered at the same time. She knew Sesshoumaru held a mysterious yearning for her and her safety, that she, quite frankly, did not feel she even deserved from someone as ... dare she even think it... perfect? Was he then? 'But, no one is perfect.' She thought. He was everything she'd never think she'd ask for yet, painstakingly grateful for it anyway. "Um- I suppose so," her blush was plainly obvious on her flushed cheeks. "He has a way with many things, making everything look flawless. I have no idea how I'd be what he wants."

"He's... multifaceted. For all the time I've known him it doesn't take forever for him to learn or accomplish just about anything," Shiori replied and gave her a side look. "But believe me on this Rin-chan," she, totally ignoring the girl's raised eyebrows at her swift formality. "If Sesshomaru wants something, you better believe he will get it. And if that involves a lovely lady such as yourself, well then- I'd be eagerly delighted too see it."

Rin, quickly realized she already liked Shiori, she liked her a lot. And there was something quite distinguished about her. Perhaps it was her hair that was a bit too perfectly shiny. Or maybe it was her beauty that seemed rather unworldly. Nonetheless, Rin would never turn down a pleasant new friend, especially if she was attached to... Sesshomaru.

Rin thanked Shiori for her sweet words before casting another glance back at Sesshoumaru. At that moment he had brushed passed Victoria, heading directly towards them, even while she was still talking and calling after him. He gazed at her. His eyes still fraught with a deeper meaning than what her mind could comprehend presently. As he walked, gracefully, his eyes again never left hers. However, as she had soon began to notice, there was always a sudden shift in them whenever he looked at her. She noted that he was not necessarily the friendly type, although he would tolerate others from time to time, there seemed to be a special place in his mind and world... solely just for her.

"Rin," Sesshomaru spoke lowly, settling his eyes over hers with fixed steadiness. He flickered his eyes over her entire body, this time however, quickly. "I see that you have acquainted yourself with Shiori."

Rin gaped at him with slightly parted lips. His long hair, still dripping fully wet, clung to every single curve of his very tall, muscular body. He was wearing light gray swim trunks that also clung tightly to his skin. As Rin, being considerably shorter than him, studied the pecks of his dripping wet chest. She found her delicate eyes on the very obvious enlarged imprint in the middle of his trunks. She, quite abruptly, shut her lips tight and darted her eyes away to her right. "Yes...," she exhaled, exaggeratively and tilted her chin all the way up to meet his eyes. Her face had never, literally ever been more flushed red in her entire life. She was pleasantly embarrassed and equally, deeply aroused. "I, we-we have."

Sango looked on knowingly at Kagome, then turned to face Shiori, grabbing her by the hand. "Come with me, Shiori. Are you any good at playing volleyball?"

"I've never played."

"That's totally fine. I make a pretty good coach." Sango reassured, dragging Shiori over to the tall white volleyball net.

"Kagome," Inuyasha stated, lifted off his strapless white tank. "Wanna join them?"

Kagome widened her eyes, blinking her eyes clear several times and agreed. "Yeah, sure!"

Rin peered back up at Sesshomaru after watching her friends retreat. "Do you want to join them, Sesshomaru?"

He shook his head and stared at her, vehemently searching her eyes, her nose, her lips and face like a feral wild animal. Only in his eyes could she see it. It was if as soon as the others departed, his yearning for however he felt for her burst through them like the mightiest waters rupturing through a weakened dam. She was burning all over now. Scorching even. And her heart was beating so fast. Every limb in her body didn't even have the chance to receive it's adequate necessary blood flow. It was numbing. Pleasingly, deliciously numbing.

"Come Rin," he insisted, grasping her cooled left palm in his slightly damp hand. "Let's go get wet."

She thought wickedly, 'I already am', as she lifted her feet off to follow him into the clear waters.

*Lover- Taylor Swift*

As they arrived to the damp shore, the water was pleasantly warmed by the sun. And Rin, already smiling the biggest smile she could possibly muster, rushed into the wavy tides with him. "Can you swim, Rin?" Sesshomaru asked as they reached a particularly deep part of the shore.

"Yes... I can."

Sesshomaru smirked wryly. He then lifted Rin, however gracefully, over his shoulder and plunged them both fully into the water. That was the very last thing she had expected him to do. She quickly stood to her feet, brushing her wetted hair out of her face. Her mouth was wide open and her brows were deeply lowered. She saw him as he slowly stood out of the water, standing as the water reached his waist. "Sesshomaru!" she screeched.

He, very uncharacteristically, lifted his chin toward the sky as his chest expanded into a hearty laugh. Once he met her eyes again, she could see all of his dazzling teeth. All of them. It was the most charming thing she had ever saw and felt. She couldn't help but join him, as laughter rumbled right out of her chest. She covered her mouth, characteristically hiding her smile. It was a force of habit. She watched him as his lips slowly turned into a smirk that then dimmed into a flatten line as his eyes gazed at her longingly again. She froze, watching him slowly move towards her, in slow deliberate steps, slithering her way. Somewhat like a cunning King Cobra, hungry and ready to attack it's prey. He towered over her and removed her hand from her mouth. "Remember, Rin..." he smirked almost devilishly. "You do not have to hide from me."

"I-I know." She stuttered, feeling the exaggerated rise and fall of her chest.

He gently parted the remaining wet strands from her face and tuck them behind her ears. He placed his hands behind the nape of her neck, drawing her closer to him as he lifted her head to face him. "Rin." He whispered.

"Y-Yes." She answered, totally hypnotized by his alluring and possessive aura.

"I desire you," he leaned to brush his cheek against hers, reaching her left ear. "In every possible way a man could desire a woman."

She gasped sharply. Feeling every bit of herself melt in his arms. Her most intimate, most deep place automatically throbbed at his warm, deep sounding proclamation. What was he doing to her? Everything about him screamed of the most wonderful danger. One she could never fear. Only if she'd lose it somehow. She felt the very same way. In fact, she was quite sure, she felt it even more. She placed her palms on his pale dripping chest, responding to his touch. "I desire you too, Sesshomaru. So much so that it burns me. It burns me deep. Very, very deeply."

He lifted his chin and removed his hands from her, stepping back and smirked. "Be with me."

"What?" She asked, searching his eyes.

Sesshomaru tilted his head, searching his mind for the right words. "Be mines. All mines. Solely for me."

Rin casted her lips into a toothy grin. "Like your girlfriend?"

"If that is what you wish."

Rin leaped to jump into his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck. And he, of course, caught her eagerly. "Of course I will!" She screeched again.

Sesshomaru displayed a satisfied grin and quickly emerged them both into the water again. After, they spent the rest of the afternoon splashing, swimming, and laying out in the sun. They were soon regrouped with everyone else. As cold beers and burgers were enjoyed, they endlessly talked of music, culture, and surprisingly Sesshomaru's family.

As another night of searching resumed with the Inu-family, Sesshomaru had taken a separate detour this night from the others as they searched the nearby area for any traces of a demonic aura. He stiffened, grasping the hilt of his sword Bakusaiga, as he scened a shift in the atmosphere around him. Night after night they had come up empty-handed, but tonight, tonight felt different. Something was awry, even in the scent of the air. After looking around the forest for some time, ensuring that his senses were all heightened, nothing seemed totally out of the ordinary.

He began walking the trail again but suddenly felt the presence of the kunjen flow through his veins, unfamiliarly warming at his skin. Bakusaiga shook violently at his side and then he heard it,

'Master, Kloxi is detected. Fight or flee.'

'Kloxi? Nani?' Sesshomaru thought as he felt a demonic presence intensify around him.

'Master, danger is imminent. Fight or flee'

Sesshomaru shifted his right hand back to the hilt of his sword, narrowing his eyes at anything around him.

'Master, last warning. Fight or flee.'

But before Sesshomaru could think, a powerful electric whitsh-blue surge of energy rushed at him, completely engulfing a risen barrier that was instantly produced around him. The energy burned through the terrain around his feet. After the smoke cleared, a man appeared out of thin air in front of him, casting a wicked smirk on his lips. He stood in a grey and black shirt and pants that looked to be some sort of uniform. His eyes were slitted in vertical black disks and his sclera was tinged with an orange hue. His long orange hair hung loosely at his side. He otherwise looked completely human. In his hands he held a four-pointed metallic device that glowed a blue light, slowly fading into itself.

"The indomitable Sesshoumaru. You've given up your peripatetic life long ago, or so I've heard." The yokai spoke.

Sesshomaru stared blankly at him, unflappable. "You bore me, you insipid fool... who is your leader?"

"So it's true then. It's not just your strength that precedes you. Your clairvoyance... it's highly commendable. But unfortunately, I'm not here for a fight." He insisted.

"Then what are you here for?" Toga asked as he approached, parting the nearby trees out of his view, followed by Inuyasha.

"Well, well, well if it isn't the very family we have all been searching for. I am Dai," he bowed. "Interesting that I cannot smell your wretched dog scent." He professed insolently.

Inuyasha withdrew his sword Tessaiga, pointing it directly at Dai as it tripled in size. "Sounds like you want this night to be your last?"

Dai chuckled darkly, "Put that little toy away, half-demon. There's no need for such animosity."

Inuyasha growled lowly.

"Your kind has caused unneeded attention. Killing humans...? What exactly is it that you wish to accomplish with such barbaric inclinations?" Toga asked, diverting the conversation back to the purpose at hand. Knowing his sons, there would be an instant bloodbath that would completely erase his chances of receiving any information from the first demon they have finally been able to meet.

"That is not your business, but if you must know- we are seeking to overtake this world. As we once did of days of old," Dai informed as he casually brushed his lengthened dark green hair out of his face. "If you stand in our way, well- that's your death to pay."

Sesshomaru withdrew his sword, extending it with the tip directly at Dai's face. "Enough! You are greatly mistaken. Tell us what you know or I myself will bleed you dry."

Dai placed the four-pointed device back in his pocket, smiling mischievously. "As I said, I am not here for a fight. That time will come. When you least expect it." He quickly tapped, with two pointed fingers, an engraved logo on his left chest. Instantly he vanished, leaving behind a orange-like mist that quickly faded into nothing. Leaving behind no trace of a demonic aura.

Inuyasha gazed at the spot with indignation and sheathed his sword. "What the hell was even that?"

Toga, still staring at the vacant spot, spoke. "It appears that the snake demons have acquired some sort of advanced technology. Whatever that device was, I have never seen the likes of it in all my days."

"The kunjen, it spoke to me." Sesshomaru added whilst sheathing Bakusaiga. "It said something about a Kloxi."

"Perhaps that was the device he held in his hands," Toga stated, rubbing his index finger and thumb on his chin. "What great power it holds. Luckily the kunjen produced the barrier to protect you. Interesting that it was powerful enough to keep you from being completely destroyed."

"It's obvious their technology nearly precedes ours." Sesshoumaru added.

"That may be, but our weapons are much stronger than before. With the added help of the kunjen, right old man?" Inuyasha asked.

"Perhaps? Let us rendezvous with Tsukuyomaru and Shiori. It appears that much more planning is needed." Toga informed.
