Qrow Branwen was at this diner with the intention on scolding Ruby and getting her to quit this unit and go back to Beacon. But of course, as his bad luck semblance would have it, he was about to receive the scolding of his life once he started talking. Apparently, Ruby had found out the secret that Qrow had been trying to keep until she graduated from Beacon. Indeed, he was her father and not just her cool uncle, but he really thought that it would be for the best if Tai was the one that raised her.

It wasn't the fact that Qrow didn't love Ruby, because that would be virtually impossible. Ruby was his little girl, and he loved her more than anything on Remnant. The problem was that Qrow is worried, and albeit a bit insecure about his bad luck semblance. He didn't want anything bad to happen to Ruby, and he blamed his semblance when Summer did not return from her mission. Qrow really just wanted Ruby to be happy and to not risk her health with his semblance.

Going back to his daughter though, he found it kind of disturbing how she looked so different from Summer, given the hair and the figure, but she kept one thing from her. That one thing was the ominous glare that Summer used when she was angry and wanted answers. When Summer gave you that glare, you would respond quickly and efficiently if you valued your life. It was the same glare that Ruby had on her face as she was looking at him while eating her food, expecting Qrow to start talking. Qrow sighed and just felt like he should begin speaking and get this over with.

"How did you find out?" Qrow asked dejectedly.

"I was practicing using the lookup software we have in the unit and looked you up and found out you have a daughter with the same birthday as mine. I put two and two together and figured out that you weren't just my teacher, you are my dad too." Ruby said matter-of-factly, still keeping that glare on her face and Qrow sighed.

"So…do you want the short version or the long version?" Qrow asked sheepishly as Ruby just looked at her scroll.

"It depends on how quick you can speak; I have to be back at work in twenty minutes." Ruby said nonchalantly as she continued to eat and Qrow just sighed.

"Look Ruby, you mean everything to me as my daughter, I love you more than life itself. It's true, I am your dad and I left raising you to Tai because I felt like it was just the best option. Not only because of my life as a huntsman, but because of my semblance, it's bad luck. I can literally cause others around me to have bad luck and for bad things to happen to people. I didn't want that for you, so I decided to leave you with Tai and just visit you from time to time. I know you are angry with me, and I don't expect you to forgive me that easily but know I did it all for you." Qrow said sincerely and hoped Ruby would understand but he didn't think that was going to happen as Ruby's glare deepend.

"So let me get this straight, after all the times that you visited us throughout the years and nothing happened, you still wanted to play the semblance card? You didn't ever realize that bad things happen every day with or without a bad luck semblance? The time that I sprained my wrist when I was eight, were you around? No, you were out on a mission, but it happened anyway. When I overslept and missed a big event, was that because of you? No that was because of me, yes it was bad luck that it happened, but it was not because of you because you weren't there! So please Dad, for the love of GOD tell me that is not the only reason." Ruby said in anger and Qrow widened his eyes.

Qrow was ashamed to admit it, but his daughter had a point. Qrow had always been so wary and uncomfortable with his semblance that he used it as the blame for everything. In his mind, he was born with a curse that followed him throughout his whole life. Ozpin was the one who gave him hope and a purpose with the fight against Salem, but Qrow didn't want Ruby to know about that yet. Here he was making excuses again, blaming his semblance for not allowing him to be with his daughter but that wasn't true. In a way, Qrow chose the huntsman life and the fight with Salem over being Ruby's dad and he felt terrible. However, there was another reason for why he did it…

"Look Ruby, I loved your mother more than anything on Remnant and when she didn't come back from that mission I just shut down. Every time I look at you I see her face, and it reminds me of the fact that she isn't here anymore. That's why I drink, it's been the only thing that has allowed me to keep the memories down of the grief that I have. She deserved so much better Ruby, and you deserved so much better than an old man who couldn't face his demons. I just wanted the best for you, that is why I wanted Tai to be the one to raise you." Qrow said honestly, trying to get his daughter to see his side but she wasn't having it.

"Tell me Dad, did you think that it was easy for me?" Ruby asked curiously with her glare still on her face.

"W-what do you mean?" Qrow asked a bit hesitantly.

"You heard me; did you think it was easy for me to accept mom is gone? Did you not think that I prayed over and over again to God to bring her back? Of course I did, but as time went on I had to move on and accept it, which is what all people do after a loved one passes. I couldn't just sit there wallowing in my own sorrow, I had to do something about it. That is why I became a huntress; I want to bring peace to the world and make sure no other child has to go through what I went through. That's also why I am in this unit, I can't just wait for things to get better, if I can help then I will do all I can. Unlike you, I'm not allowed to just wallow in misery and drink my sorrows away." Ruby responded angrily and Qrow widened his eyes.

Both he and Tai had been so foolish, thinking that this was a rebellious phase or that Ruby was just trying to get away from Yang. No, it was so much more than that. Ruby was clearly tired of being left behind, neglected, and ultimately taken for granted, but her drive to become a huntress was still as strong as ever. Although her words were directed at him, Qrow could tell that she was also talking about the issue that happened with her team and how she wasn't going to allow herself to be brought down by it. Qrow knew that she was right in regard to him, but there was something else that he was thinking about.

"Ruby, why are you calling me dad?" Qrow asked and Ruby looked at him like he was stupid.

"Isn't that what you are?" Ruby asked with her eyebrow raised.

"Biologically yes, but Tai is the one that raised you so shouldn't-" Qrow tried to say but Ruby held her hand up.

"No, see I am done with all the secret crap because I have had enough of that in the last week and a half. Seeing as though my team and so-called friends think so poorly of me, and my cool uncle/teacher is actually my dad I am just going to go forward in life having that information in my mind and apply to it my life. Though looking back, I guess I should have figured out on my own that Tai was actually my uncle considering I find he and Yang's puns to be incredibly annoying. Even so, Dad and Uncle are just titles, it does not change your importance to me." Ruby said honestly.

Qrow did not know whether to be proud or sad at what his daughter just said. He wanted to be proud of how mature she was being and not throwing a tantrum at the information she had learned over the past week and a half. His little girl was not so little anymore, no matter how much that upset him and Tai, as they would just have to deal with it. However, Qrow could not help but feel sad as it really seemed like Ruby was not going to let what happened with her team go and she would probably stay with the unit. Even though Qrow knew it wasn't permanent, he still thought that she would be safer at Beacon, but Ruby didn't seem to care about his opinion or Tai's.

"It's good to know that we are still important to you kiddo, does that mean you forgive me?" Qrow asked hopeful but was shot down when he saw Ruby's glare.

"No, it doesn't, and I am sure you know that. You are gonna have to earn my forgiveness, and I am not going to fix you or Uncle Tai's mess either. I expect you or him or both of you to tell Yang, so that this secret doesn't go on any longer." Ruby said sternly and Qrow looked shocked but nodded his head anyway.

"Speaking of Yang, I know you said you won't forgive me but is there any chance you can forgive her and your team?" Qrow asked and Ruby just laughed.

"Forgive them for what? For talking shit about me and neglecting me for months? Yeah, not a chance in hell." Ruby said sourly and Qrow just sighed.

"Ruby, I know you are angry at them, but Tai talked with Yang and she was really upset by you leaving. You don't have to forgive her or your other friends right away but come on, clearly they regret what happened and want you to come back so that things can go back to normal. They don't want you to hate them forever and want to apologize. Isn't that what you want as well? Or do you really want to hold this over Yang and the rest of them like a noose forever?" Qrow asked and Ruby just narrowed her eyes.

"Here is the thing Dad, if I didn't hear them that night or record them then they would just keep going about their lives like nothing happened. I would still be treated like some little girl who does not belong at Beacon, which is weird because my grades are better than most of theirs. Also, forgiving isn't something you do for someone else, it's something you do for you. For me, it's saying that they aren't important enough to have a stranglehold on me, because they aren't. It's also saying that they don't get to trap me in the past because I am worthy of a future. If Yang wants to be mad at some things I did in the past then so be it, same with everyone else. They can't be angry or sad because I won't forgive them, because they can't be mad at something THEY did." Ruby said with conviction and Qrow narrowed his eyes.

"You know…you've really changed, and I am not just talking about the hair or your outfit. The Ruby I know would have forgiven them easily, considering that she believed in teamwork." Qrow said angrily and Ruby just rolled her eyes.

"Yeah well, tough love because I think I like who I'm becoming. I do things how I want, and no one is going to stop me from achieving my goals. Also, I still believe in teamwork, how else do you think my unit and I have been successful so far? Just because I am done with my team does not mean I won't work with them, considering I don't have to like them to work well with them. I will do exactly what they want, leave them alone when we have free time because I am clearly such an annoyance. We will study together, train together and go on missions. After that, they are on their own." Ruby said matter-of-factly and looked at her scroll.

"I have to get back to work, is this little therapy session over?" Ruby asked annoyed and Qrow nodded reluctantly.

"Yeah it's over, clearly you have made up your mind so there is no use talking anymore. I will pay, go back to work kiddo." Qrow said defeated, he really wanted her to go back to Beacon but after that conversation he knew that she wouldn't.

Ruby nodded and got up from the table, putting her sunglasses on and putting her scroll back in her pocket. As she turned to leave she stopped, and Qrow could tell that she was contemplating something in her mind, maybe she had more to say to him? What happened next really shocked Qrow as his daughter walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him and nuzzled the left side of his face. Qrow immediately returned the gesture and hugged his daughter back.

"Bye Dad, I love you." Ruby said quietly and Qrow was stunned but just wanted to stay in the moment.

"I love you too Petal, see you around." Qrow said releasing her and Ruby looked confused.

"Petal?" Ruby asked confused.

"It's the name your mother and I called you when you were little. You know, before everything fell apart." Qrow said sadly and Ruby hugged him again and smiled, then she left to go back to the office.

On her walk back, Ruby thought about what just occurred and the conversation she had with her Dad. Even she was surprised at how easily she called Qrow her dad, but the more she thought about it, it made sense. Qrow had always been a father figure for her, considering the man taught her everything she knew and then some. Not only that, even after all these years Ruby didn't feel like she had anything in common with Taiyang, even though he was the one who raised her the most. Their personalities were completely different, she didn't like puns the way he or Yang did, and she didn't really resemble Tai in any shape or form.

Ruby still thought that the reason for why Qrow didn't raise her was completely stupid. Bad things happened all the time, and even when Qrow visited them over the years his semblance never caused anything bad to happen. Ruby imagined that Qrow was just so deep in his misery and despair that he could not see what was right in front of him. Ruby missed her mom every day, but that did not mean that she was not going to move on with her life. She also thought that another reason her dad left her with Tai was because Tai was very needy and needed someone around. He wasn't the adventurous type like Qrow, so having two kids to raise at home sounded better than going on missions.

While Ruby did not forgive Qrow, she knew that she had to at least learn to try to forgive him, which is why she hugged him. This was not like the issue that she had with her team and Team JNPR, what Qrow did he truly believed he did for her. Even though Ruby didn't like it, she could not deny that Qrow's intentions were truly about her, though some of it was about the self-pity he seemed to have. This was something that they had to get over, considering the two were stuck with each other. It was not going to happen overnight, but Ruby was sure that the day would come when she and Qrow stood side by side as father and daughter.

Going back to the issue with her team, Ruby could not help but feel annoyed. She couldn't believe that Yang really got Tai and her dad involved in this. So, now because Ruby was living her best life away from Yang that meant she could call those two and try to force her out of the unit? Who the hell did Yang think she was? Also, what was the problem? Yang and the others clearly felt that Ruby was an annoyance if that recording was anything to go by so why was she so upset about her leaving? Also, how ironic that now they were regretful but if Ruby hadn't changed then they would have continued to ignore her.

Ruby pushed all the thoughts and anger she had in the back of her mind as she entered the office. The problems that she had could wait, she and her unit had to figure out what Torchwick and those other two were up to. When she got to their area she saw the others there already and they looked at her with a worried expression on each of their faces. Ruby wondered what was wrong, she didn't think she was late or anything like that. God forbid they got a report that one of their suspects had struck somewhere or something.

"Hey, I'm back, I'm sorry am I late?" Ruby asked concerned but Sindel shook her head.

"No Ruby, you are on time, but we were all a little worried about you. Before you left with that man you had a hesitant look on your face. Is everything alright?" Sindel asked in a worried manner.

"Yeah that was just my dad, don't worry just some family stuff." Ruby assured but the crew was skeptical.

"Well, if you say so then we will drop it. Anyway, where were we before we went to lunch?" Sindel asked her unit and Mira responded.

"Thanks to Ruby and Shauna, we learned that there are three main conspirators in the theft of dust and other items. One of these conspirators is indeed the infamous Roman Torchwick, a known criminal who according to Ruby, has been collecting dust and causing mischief for the past few months. The other is Dexter Deshawn, a well-known fixer who made a name for himself in smuggling and information broking. We believe that he is the one in charge of the money, and the one letting Torchwick know where to find the most dust. Finally, we have an unknown conspirator but when know that he is of the White Fang and has red hair." Mira said as she finished her analysis and then Bakugo spoke up.

"You know I have been wondering about that last part, more specifically the White Fang. Why would they work with people like Roman Torchwick and Dexter Deshawn? Isn't the whole point of their agenda proving to the world that humans are to blame for Faunus' discrimination? So then why are they taking the help of two humans?" Bakugo asked and the others were wondering the same thing.

"I believe it is clear that the White Fang have run out of patience; such is the reason for why they have resulted to such violent crimes. The peaceful way was not working for them, so acts of terror have become their new strategy and it is working. People are now talking about the White Fang and are finally taking them seriously. When it comes to working with Torchwick and Deshawn, I think it is clear that they don't care about working with humans anymore. As long as their message is heard throughout the world and their equality comes, it doesn't matter if their accomplices are faunus or human." Akali said honestly and the others agreed.

The White Fang were becoming more and more of a problem each day, they were clearly gaining more members and their methods were becoming more destructive. While not everyone was racist towards the Faunus, there were a lot who were, and they were originally the main targets of the White Fang. Now though, it seemed that the White Fang just wanted to make humanity pay for the discrimination the Faunus faced. It didn't seem to matter who was racist and who was not, all humans were to blame and now the White Fang wanted revenge.

"So, going back to the guy in the mask with red hair. How exactly are we going to find out his identity? Seeing as though the criminals in the shop reported to him, he must be some kind of higher up in the organization but that is it. Seth and I have been over constant files of White Fang members who have been apprehended by Atlas authorities and other kingdom authorities, no one matches that description. What should we do Sindel and Litchi?" Jago asked and the two higher ups looked deep in thought.

"Ok let's see, we still do not know what they are going to use all of this dust for nor do we know who this mysterious man is. We will have to go through files, surveillance footage, and multiple other things to try and find this information. Sindel and I can also talk to Ironwood about trying to catch these criminals in the act, and then bring them back here to interrogate them. If they are still needing dust then we might be able to apprehend them. None of them are going to want to serve serious jail time, so if we cut some deals then maybe we can get some answers." Litchi said and Sindel nodded her head.

"Litchi is right, the main priority now is finding out what the dust will be used for and if this is just one part of their master plan. For now, let us keep reviewing evidence and events that occurred, surely something had to be missed and that could be our key into solving this mystery. We can also use surveillance video of Atlas and Mantle to see if any of these three conspirators have been there in the last month. Let us keep doing this for a few more hours and then we will regroup and be done for the day." Sindel instructed and everyone nodded but Ruby spoke up.

"Excuse me Sindel, but may I have a word in your office?" Ruby asked and Sindel looked at her curiously but nodded.

"Of course Ruby, come on in." Sindel said as she held the door opened and Ruby entered.

Ruby took a look around her boss' office and she was very impressed to say the least. Everything was neat, books were stacked accordingly and there were not papers laying around everywhere. There were also pictures of her in the Atlas military and what looked to be like her family, something Ruby had never asked her about. It seemed that Sindel was not only a Special Agent, but a mother and wife as well seeing as though there was a picture of her and her husband, along with two young girls. Sindel walked past her detective and sat down in her chair.

"So Ruby, what is it you wanted to talk about?" Sindel asked kindly and Ruby looked a bit nervous.

"I would like to speak…hypothetically if that is alright with you?" Ruby asked nervously.

"Um, ok what is on your mind?" Sindel asked a bit curious and worried at Ruby's nervous tone.

"Let's say I know someone who is a former White Fang member. If we don't get anywhere with finding out who this masked guy is, and we get their help, will they be prosecuted?" Ruby asked and Sindel widened her eyes.

"I am afraid I do not know Ruby, as that would fall onto General Ironwood's decision not mine. But you know someone who is in the White Fang? Can you please tell me who it is in case we do need them? I promise that I will keep it a secret until we actually need a statement from them." Sindel said seriously and Ruby just sighed.

"Blake Belladonna, my teammate is a former White Fang member, and I am sorry I did not say it earlier. Considering the situation, I did not really want her to be thrown in jail because of her relation to the White Fang. I don't know why, but that organization is very important to her. In fact, the whole reason that my team and I encountered Torchwick and the White Fang is because Blake would not stop worrying about them and wanted to see what they were up to. Her obsession has calmed down a bit now, but I know that the White Fang is still on her mind." Ruby said honestly and Sindel was shocked but nodded all the same.

"I see, do not worry Ruby it is very noble that you were thinking about your teammate. However, did I hear correctly that her last name Belladonna?" Sindel asked curiously.

"Yes, why?" Ruby asked a bit confused and Sindel typed something on her computer.

"Does she bare any resemblance to this man?" Sindel asked turning the monitor around and Ruby widened her eyes.

"Oh my God, yeah they have the same eyes, same hair color and even the same catlike features! That could definitely be her dad, who is he?" Ruby asked.

"That is Ghira Belladonna, former High Leader of the White Fang. Known for his pacifist ways, he retired years ago and is the current Chieftain of the kingdom of Menagerie." Sindel stated and Ruby looked absolutely shocked.

Ruby could not believe what she had just heard, it made so much sense. It wasn't the fact that Blake was just passionate about Faunus rights and the White Fang, it was the fact that she had apparently been born into it. She must have joined the White Fang in order to try and bring some peace to the world, but it must not have been what she imagined or else she would never have come to Beacon. Blake also must have been completely frustrated with how the White Fang was turning out, considering she had obsessed over their actions for the past few months.

"It all makes sense now, why is she so obsessive over them, she hates how they turned out." Ruby said while rubbing her temples.

"I suppose so, but there is something I wanted to ask Ruby, is your team treating you right? Last week you expressed your frustration with Weiss' attitude and now you have a teammate that has been obsessing over the White Fang and apparently dragging you all off into dangerous situations. Over the weekend I read reports of you and the others' teams to see what they were about, and I noticed that Miss Xiao Long was reported to have destroyed a nightclub. You seem to have a lot on your hands with those three, is there anything you want to get off your chest?" Sindel asked sincerely and Ruby sighed.

"It's been difficult over these last few months and I thought I could handle it you know? It didn't matter how they treated me or what they blamed me for as long as we were a team we could stick together. But an incident occurred, and I finally had enough of them and their opinions. That is one of the reasons why I joined the unit, I needed a break from them and wanted to reaffirm my drive as a huntress. It is true that I am young and inexperienced, but I believe in my skills and work hard. So, don't worry Sindel, I may be facing troubles with my team but while I am here I will continue to give 100%." Ruby said with a smile and Sindel smiled back.

"I know you will Ruby, let's get back to finding these criminals so we can make the world a better place." Sindel said happily and Ruby nodded going back to the others.

In a hotel in Atlas, Qrow Branwen was sitting in his room recalling the events that happened today. He came to Atlas with the intention of talking to his daughter about her behavior and her reckless choice to join the unit. However, it took a 180 degree turn when Ruby told him that she found out about him secretly being her father and his plan went to shambles. He had to admit that he was proud of Ruby for being so mature about the matter, but he couldn't help but feel sorry for her.

In the past week and a half, Ruby had severed connections with her team, joined a unit in a kingdom that she had never been too before, and she learned that her cool uncle was actually her dad and her life had been a lie. He could not imagine what she was feeling on the inside, even though on the outside she was putting on a confident face. Qrow could still not get over Ruby's new attitude, it was so much different from the girl he had known all these years. He knew that she was going to mature and change eventually as she grew, but he didn't know it would be like this.

Gathering his bearings, Qrow knew that he had to call and tell Tai what just happened as the man needed to know. He needed to know that the secret was out, and changes were about to be made to their family life. Qrow prepared himself for the talk, considering that Tai was going to be angry at Ruby now calling him dad instead of Tai. Tai would also be frustrated that Ruby was not going to quit the unit nor was she going to forgive Yang and the others. Nevertheless, he took out his scroll and called his brother-in-law.

"Hey Qrow! How did it go with Ruby? Did you convince her to go back to Beacon?" Tai asked with desperation and Qrow just sighed.

"Tai…she knows." Qrow said simply.

"She knows what?" Tai asked confused.

"Think about it…" Qrow said sadly and he heard Tai drop something that shattered.

"Oh my God…OH MY GOD! How the hell does she know?!" Tai asked frustrated and Qrow sighed.

"She was using the software in her knew unit to look up various people for practice. Ruby looked me up and saw that I have a child with the birth date the same as hers and she put two and two together. Legally Tai, her birth certificate has my name on it, that is how she found out." Qrow said depressed and Tai sounded equally depressed.

"I know Qrow, it's not your fault. Damn, so what was the conversation you two had?" Tai asked.

"I told her why I did it in the first place and I explained my semblance to her, but she didn't forgive me or anything like that. Ruby got angry at my reasoning, saying bad things happen every day and she pointed out that when I visit nothing bad happens. She also got mad at my reasoning because she also mourned Summer, but she had to move on, and she was angry at me for not doing the same. I agree with her completely, and I feel ashamed." Qrow said depressed.

"Wow I didn't think Ruby was capable of talking like that, and don't go sulking again Qrow, you need to use that shame and mend your relationship with Ruby. What else did she say?" Tai asked.

"She will be calling me Dad and you Uncle Tai from now on, but not for the reason that you think. Ruby is tired of all the secrets, ours and her team included, and is going to use the information that she has now and apply to her life. She does not forgive us and probably won't anytime soon, but she is not going to live her life as a lie anymore. Ruby also said that she wants us to clean up are mess by telling Yang the truth as well." Qrow stated and Tai was shocked.

This was too much for Taiyang Xiao Long, first he hears that Ruby joined a unit and had been distant from Yang because she and her friends talked bad about Ruby behind her back. Then he finds out from Glynda that she approved and didn't even tell Tai that Ruby was joining or the fact that she had been facing problems. Now, Ruby found out that Qrow was her father and she didn't even call to tell one of them? Qrow found out after taking her to lunch? What the hell was going on?! Things were all going to hell in this family, and Tai had to admit it hurt a lot that Ruby wasn't going to call him Dad anymore.

Now, Tai had to figure out how he was going to explain all of this to Yang, and he could not imagine the response the girl was going to have. Though Ruby was avoiding her now, Yang always treated Ruby like a sister despite the fact that she badmouthed her behind her back. Yang loved having the big sister title, so when she received the information that Ruby was actually her cousin, Tai imagined that it would break the girl's heart. Ruby's reaction to the information wasn't going to be nearly as bad as Yang's reaction, the girl was most likely going to get violent.

"I see…so that is what Ruby's solution to this is going to be. Well, I can't decide if I should be happy at her maturity or heartbroken that she won't call me dad anymore. Qrow there was something else I wanted to ask, how was Ruby? Did she seem fine to you? This new attitude of hers is really worrying to me." Tai said honestly and Qrow just sighed.

"Tai, she's...different to say the least. It is not just the attitude that is new, Ruby got a giant makeover. She ditched the dress that she usually wears, and she now wears a black combat suit that shows off her features, hell she must really be taking care of herself. The girl's figure is something that Summer would have killed to have when we were in Beacon. Then there is her hair, which is about as long as Yang's, hell maybe even longer and it makes her look older than she is. Tai I gotta tell you, I could not recognize thet Ruby in front of me, she looked like a totally different person." Qrow said in honesty and Tai sounded shocked.

"She really changed that much? Here I thought it was just the new attitude, but it seems like the Ruby we know is dead and gone, that makes me really sad. I can't believe that Yang was neglecting Ruby so much that she didn't even realize this was going on, it is honestly ridiculous. Speaking of Yang, were you able to talk with Ruby about her? Will she at least try to forgive her and leave the unit?" Tai asked hopeful but was shot down.

"Tai, we have been such fools in thinking that Ruby joining this unit was to get back at Yang. It is actually the complete opposite, seeing as though Ruby is tired of being neglected and left behind. She joined the unit not for revenge, but to show that she deserved to be a huntress in training. Ruby's drive to become a powerful huntress is still as strong as ever, that is why she joined the unit and James tells me they are doing a great job. As for forgiving Yang and her team, that will not happen for a while because she believes that they are not worth having a stranglehold on her. And I agree with her that if Ruby had not heard what they said about her that night, she still would have been neglected. We have no place in that Tai, considering Yang and the others are the ones at fault." Qrow stated and Tai wanted to argue but knew that Qrow was right.

"Sigh…so she really isn't going to forgive them? How exactly does she expect her team to grow if she is at odds with them?" Tai asked.

"She told me that she did not have to like them to work together. Ruby will still train and study with her team, as well as go on missions, but after that they are on their own. Sorry Tai, but it really looks like she is not going to forgive them anytime soon." Qrow said sadly and Tai let out a tired sigh.

"This is a nightmare; everything was going well and then this happens. What are we going to do?" Tai asked in sadness.

"We have to accept it as it is Tai, we may not like who Ruby is becoming but she clearly does, and we will just have to live with it for now. Who knows maybe things will calm down eventually, but right now there is not much we can do. If we continue to persist in trying to change Ruby back to who she was before all this happened, then she may start to hate us as well. Right now, we just need to let things play out and if we need to get more involved we will." Qrow said honestly and Tai nodded.

"You are right, this is such a headache though. Well, I am off to try and figure out how and when to tell Yang all of this. Take care Qrow, call soon!" Tai told his brother-in-law.

"You too Tai, we will get through this as a family, I promise. See you around." Qrow said as he hit the end call button on his scroll, curious about this family's future.

Author Notes:

Man, this is a big one and a lot of stuff happened here. We got to see Qrow's reasoning as to why he chose to leave Ruby with Tai and Ruby's response to that. Ruby learned that Blake is indeed the daughter of the former high leader of the White Fang, what will she do with that info going forward? Gaming news, Devil May Cry Special Edition is AMAZING and so is Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, beat them both recently. If you don't have them then stop what you are doing and go get them. Anyway, like and review, see you next time!
