The WBY were sitting in their dorm room at night, bored out of their mind and also worrying. It had officially been two weeks since Ruby left for the unit and today was supposed to be the day that she got back. Of course, the three texted Ruby to see what time she was getting back or if she was even coming back today at all. They were met with silence and the status of their messages were still saying delivered, showing that Ruby had not read a single one of them.

This was something that was becoming more and more infuriating as the days went by. Here the WBY were worried about Ruby and wanted to talk with her, yet Ruby didn't even seem to care. They understood that Ruby was upset with them given the fact that she heard them all say those terrible things about her, but they were sorry! The girls wanted a chance to apologize to Ruby and hopefully get things back to normal but that was becoming more and more unlikely.

The question that was running through the girls' minds was did Ruby even want to make up? The answer was probably no seeing as though she had not contacted them since she left and was clearly enjoying her time in Atlas. Going to parties, hanging out with her unit, and other things it seemed she found more important than talking to her team. The girls wondered when she would be back and the suddenly they heard the doorknob turning and the door opened to show Ruby.

All of the WBY's eyes widened as they stared at their team leader coming through the door with a smile on her face, but it wasn't for her team. She seemed to be laughing at something on her scroll, probably a text from one of her new friends. The WBY got a good look at Ruby and saw that her hair had grown a bit longer, and she seemed to be more toned then when she left. They also saw that she was wearing some jewelry that they had never seen before. Ruby finished texting on her scroll and looked up to see her team and annoyed frown appeared on her face.

"What are you all looking at?" Ruby asked already annoyed and the WBY scowled.

"Hello to you to Ruby." Weiss said angrily and Ruby rolled her eyes.

"Hi Weiss!" Ruby said with fake enthusiasm as she went to put her bag down.

"So Ruby, how was your trip?" Blake asked trying to calm things down.

"Fine." Ruby said without even looking as she was taking things out of her suitcase.

The WBY sighed, it seemed that Ruby was still angry as they expected and still being standoffish. All three of them were afraid to find out how this apology was going to go but they knew that it had to be done. Though they did all wonder if they should delay it until tomorrow, considering the fact that Ruby might be tired from her trip. They decided against it though because they could not have this eating at away them forever. With their minds made up, Yang took the first step and called out to Ruby.

"Ruby?" Yang asked hesitantly.

"What?" Ruby asked as she finished unpacking her suitcase and turned to see her teammates look at her with sad eyes..

"Can we talk?" Yang asked hopeful and her other two teammates looked hopeful too.

Ruby knew what was about to happen, her team was going to tell her that they know she heard them that night and were going to apologize. She figured that it was going to happen soon, but she would have liked it if they did it later because she was tired. Ruby was not going to forgive them, that she already knew, but that didn't mean she wouldn't hear them out. However, she also had some things to say to them but hoped that she could keep her emotions in check. She was about to respond but she felt her scroll buzz and looked to see who was calling her. It was Sindel and Ruby picked up and answered.

"Hello?" Ruby said.

"Hello Ruby, just calling in to make sure that you made it back to Beacon alright." Sindel said.

"Yes I made it back, thanks for the ride and the cookies." Ruby said happily and Sindel laughed.

"Of course dear, thank you for putting in such hard work the past two weeks, I know that it was a lot." Sindel said honestly.

"No, it was fine! Thank you very much for the opportunity, I have to go but I will call later this week." Ruby said gratefully.

"Of course, Ruby, take care and let me know if you need anything. Until next time!" Sindel said.

"Goodbye Sindel, thanks again!" Ruby said as she clicked the end button on her scroll and saw her teammates look at her weirdly.

'Was that the woman in charge of her unit?' They all wondered but they were brought out of their thoughts when Ruby spoke to them.

"Speak." Ruby commanded and the girls flinched but sighed and began their apology.

"Ruby…we want to apologize for our actions towards you. We have been ignoring you, neglecting you, ditching you and worse of all we said all those horrible things about you. All of us know that you heard us that night, Professor Goodwitch told us the day you left. Look Ruby, I know you hate us, especially because you haven't communicated with us since you left but…" Yang tried to finish but her voice kept quivering and Blake picked up where she left off.

"What Yang is trying to say is that we should not have done what we did. The three of us should have communicated with you, at least let you know where we were. And we sure as hell should not have said all of those bad things behind your back, especially when we were across the hall. We should have been honest and upfront with you when we needed time for ourselves, and we should have kept all of our negative thoughts to ourselves." Blake said remorsefully and Weiss followed.

"Look Ruby, there is no excuse for our actions. We should not have brushed you off, and we should have answered your calls and texts. We also should not have said those things behind your back and we shouldn't have taken that conversation that far. I…no we humbly apologize to you Ruby; our actions were extremely unbecoming of members of Team RWBY." Weiss said apologetically as she, Blake and Yang all bowed their heads in apology.

"Ruby…I haven't been acting a like a big sister should. I'm sorry that I left you behind time and time again. I am sorry for neglecting you and saying all those terrible things about you. Hell, I'm sorry for everything that I have done to you. Can you please forgive us? Can you please forgive me?" Yang asked pleadingly with tears threating to fall but she was met with Ruby's cold stare.

Ruby had been silent throughout this whole conversation, listening to what her teammates had to say. While their voices did seem sincere, Ruby thought it was very interesting that now that they knew that she heard them that night, they were sorry. Whereas before she left, they were not apologetic at all and were going about life regularly. She also noted that Yang called herself 'Big Sister' showing that Tai had not told her the truth yet, not that Ruby was surprised.

Ruby had thought back to the weeks of being ignored by her team and Team JNPR, feeling alone and a burden. She always felt like something was wrong with her and that no one wanted to truly be friends with her. Then she thought about going to Atlas and all of the good times that she had in the past two weeks. Meeting Seth, having girl time with Mira and the other two, plus going to parties and clubs and making even more new friends. Ruby found herself chuckling and her teammates wanted to know why she was laughing.

"W-what's so funny?" Yang asked nervously.

"Oh nothing, I just found it interesting that now that you know that I heard you that night, you want to be apologetic. See before I left, you all just went about your lives like you didn't say all that crap about me. Hell, you even got on my ass for having time to myself and not answering your texts like some damn hypocrites. You all neglect me for months and then have the NERVE to complain about me getting some stuff done on my own? What kind of shit is that?" Ruby asked angrily and the girls widened their eyes.

"Ruby, th-that's not-" Blake stammered but Ruby wasn't done.

"Also, yeah I didn't bother to read your messages when I was in Atlas, excuse me for enjoying life. You know going to parties that I apparently was not able to attend by your standards but here we are. Hanging out with my girls either at the mall, in the club, or hell even in the hotel room. Life was so much more fun there, whereas here I catch smoke because I just want to hang out with my team but apparently I am such a nuisance, and they leave me here alone every weekend!" Ruby said irritated and the girls lowered their heads.

"Ruby, we-" Weiss tried to say but Ruby cut her off.

"Oh, and then you all talked shit about me after you left me alone in the room? You know I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't the first time you all did that but let's talk about that. Ruby is so immature and childish, nag-nag-nag. You know what? Yeah I'm only sixteen, I am not fully grown yet, and I do have some childish tendencies but damn at least I'm getting better! Also, I think I am maturing quite well if I am being honest.

For example, when you told that story about me Yang, I easily could have opened the door and told everyone how funny I think it is that when a boy puts you on, you're always feeling yourself. Yet not even twenty-four hours later they put you back on the shelf and never call back. However, I decided not to because that would be stooping to your level." Ruby berated and the girls' mouths dropped open and Yang looked angry.

"W-what does my dating life have to do with any of this?!" Yang asked angrily because that was a low blow, but Ruby didn't flinch.

"I'm so glad you asked! See back at Signal, people always talked bad about you behind your back, even your friends! Everybody was like, "Yang's no item", "please don't like her", "they don't keep her", and "she never got a call-back." I always defended you though and told them to keep your name out of their mouths. I should have figured that what they were saying was true though, all that shit you spit at guys is SO unoriginal." Ruby said with a roll of her eyes and Yang looked shocked.

Yang could not believe what she had just heard from Ruby, her friends said those things about her back at Signal? She really wanted to believe that Ruby was lying but Yang knew that she wasn't. Yang really felt bad because she had always felt insecure about her dating life even though she put on a confident face. Ruby defended her at Signal, and how did Yang repay her? By talking trash about her behind her back, just like the people at Signal did to her apparently. This made Yang feel even worse, but she found that Ruby was not done speaking.

"But it was you and we are family, so of course I defended you against those haters. How was I repaid though? You said crap about me behind my back just like they did to you! But what you said was total BS because you accused me of making you miss time with your friends when I didn't ask you to do anything. Then you said that I don't belong at Beacon and that Ozpin made a mistake admitting me here, which is hilarious because on the airship coming over here you said that I was special and talented! But I guess you lied to me…" Ruby said angrily and Yang widened her eyes and tears started falling.

What Ruby said was true and Yang could not even deny it. It was true, Ruby never asked Yang to cancel events with her friends, Yang did that of her own free will. She knew that Ruby was not a people person back then, so she wanted to be a good big sister and keep her company no matter how many times Ruby said she should go hang out with her friends. So, what right did she really have to blame Ruby when it was her own choice?

Not only that, but Ruby was also correct in her statement that Yang herself said that she would be a great student at Beacon and that she was proud of her. Yet two weeks ago, Yang told everyone that Ruby should not have been moved up and admitted to Beacon. She basically had lied to Ruby when she gave her encouragement when they were on that airship on their first time to Beacon. With these revelations, tears started streaming down Yang's face and she felt ashamed. Ruby then turned her attention to Weiss who to a step back in fear.

"And you, Ozpin made me your partner? That's funny, what I recall is the fact that partners were chosen by the first person you see in the forest. We both saw each other first, not on purpose but it didn't matter, so how is that the professor's or my fault? Also, I want to make it perfectly clear that I shared the same feelings you did about becoming partners. I could have gotten Yang or Pyrrha, but I got the Ice Bitch, really?" Ruby groaned and Weiss narrowed her eyes and had fire in them.

"What did you just call me?!" Weiss asked angrily and got in Ruby's face, but Ruby didn't flinch.

"I don't have to yell at you, because you heard what I said. Even so, the rules are the rules, and I did my best to try and get along with you, but it turns out you're so fucking impossible! Ruby can't do this, and Ruby can't do that! How is it that you have more expectations for me than the headmaster of Beacon? You know you call me a child, but I am a student of Beacon just like you! We are all here to learn and get better, but I am the one who gets bitched at by her partner on every single thing.

And yeah, I want us to hang out more and be closer because WE ARE PARTNERS! We are stuck with each other whether you like it or not Weiss, Professor Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch said so and I doubt they will allow exceptions. Also, you said that you would support me and be a great partner but apparently you lied because your still harsh, judgmental, and overbearing. I thought if I just kept trying maybe things would change between us, but I guess not. I really shouldn't have given you any of my time, and keep calling me a child if you want, but your older than the girl you are running behind!" Ruby said with venom and Weiss widened her eyes in shock, anger, and sadness.

Tears were falling down her face as Weiss had the realization that everything Ruby said was completely true. They were partners, so Ruby wanted them to be close considering that they were stuck with each other for four years. It was also true that even though Ruby was younger than her, they were both students of Beacon. They were in the same classes and learning the same things, and Ruby had less knowledge, but she was still doing well.

Instead of encouraging her and supporting her, Weiss focused on everything that Ruby did wrong just so she could have an advantage over her. Weiss hated to admit it, but her characteristics were blatantly said by Ruby just now. She was harsh, overbearing, and judgmental to her leader and everyone around her. Weiss was still having a hard time getting used to the fact that she was not at the Schnee Manor anymore, and she couldn't always get her way. No matter how much she wanted to disagree, Ruby was right in the since that Weiss was behind Ruby, in everything that mattered. Crushed by her partner's harsh words, Weiss was heartbroken and crying softly.

"Blake." Ruby said as she turned to the cat faunus who took a step back and looked terrified.

"You know, I know that you are anti-social and the thought of spending time with people terrifies you to no end. Going back to the first day we met, Yang and I introduced ourselves to you, but you wanted us to get lost because we were interrupting your reading time. I thought that after a while I could make you feel like part of the team and show that you can rely on me but nope. Apparently, I'm just a little girl who ruins your reading time. Hey Blake, remember when you nearly got us all arrested? TWICE?!" Ruby asked with anger and Blake widened her eyes.

"You can't blame me for that! All of you agreed to help!" Blake said angrily and Ruby rolled her eyes.

"Yeah because we just volunteered right? Clearly it wasn't because you were going to do something incredibly reckless and would have gotten yourself killed! And if you think I am going to let you die because you are being stubborn, you must be out of your damn mind! Oh, but I guess you wouldn't know how caring a leader I am, because to you I am just the girl who loves to disrupt your reading time. Yes your reading time, what you do all day, EVERY DAY." Ruby said annoyed and Blake wanted to retort but nothing came out.

Blake knew that what Ruby said was true, and it made her feel sick to her stomach. It was true, Blake acted like a total hypocrite because she wanted Ruby to leave her alone so she could read more, but when the whole thing with the White Fang happened she looked for Ruby to help her get answers. And what did Ruby do? She created a plan that broke rules just so she could make Blake happy and find the answers that she wanted.

It was also true that the cops showed up both times, at the docks and in the city after they fought Torchwick. Of course, Professor Ozpin came down and got them off scot free, but that didn't take away from the fact that they could have been in serious trouble. Ruby didn't care though, because as long as Blake got what she wanted that was all that mattered. And how did Blake repay her? By ignoring her just because she wanted to read and saying all those bad things about her. Blake lowered her head in shame and had tears building up in her eyes.

All of the WBY were crying and were really sad at the revelations and harsh words spoken by Ruby. Clearly, this is how their team leader felt when she heard them and Team JNPR badmouth her those two weeks back. All three of them wished that they could somehow go back in time and prevent their past selves from saying those things. They had wanted to make up with Ruby, but after that they doubted it would happen. Ruby was still pissed at them and they were a bit angry at her for saying those things, even though they did the same thing.

"Look, to answer you all's question earlier, no I do not forgive you. You and team JNPR badmouthed me like hell, and if you really had a problem with me you could have just said it to my face and not behind my back. Plus, you are only sorry because you know that I heard you that night. Before then, you all consistently left me behind in this room, every single week. It was never a problem for you guys, hell you all just thought it was ok to be with me during class and that's it." Ruby explained and the girls kept crying because they knew it was true.

"Ruby…please we never meant to hurt you! I will admit that we went too far when spoke against you that night. I deeply regret saying all those things about you, insulting you, chastising you, and not giving you any encouragement. But please, Ruby, please! Please forgive us and please forgive me! I don't want us to be on bad terms for the rest of our time here at Beacon! I can't take back any of the things that I said about you, but I can change! We can change, so please give us another chance!" Weiss begged and so did Blake.

"Please Ruby, Weiss is right. None of us ever meant to treat you this way and we were so wrong to do so." Blake cried but Ruby just raised an eyebrow.

"Oh really? So, you all didn't say that I am too much to deal with and that you consistently need a break from me? You know, I really thought that I could at least count on you guys to be the ones to treat me well. See, I'm not stupid, I hear all of the jokes saying that I don't belong at Beacon and that I apparently bribed Ozpin to get admission or some stupid thing. But it didn't matter what those other people said because my team has my back right? Apparently not!" Ruby said angrily and Yang dashed towards Ruby.

"No Ruby, don't you dare say that!" Yang exclaimed as she tried to hug Ruby, but Ruby extended her arm out to stop her.

"Don't touch me…" Ruby said in a serious voice and Yang looked heartbroken.

"Ruby…" Yang said with tears falling down her face.

"Look, the fact of the matter is that if I hadn't heard you that night, you would have continued on like everything was normal and nothing happened. And me leaving you alone is clearly what you want because all of you meant what you said that night, no matter how much you deny it. So that is what I will do, we will train together and go to classes together but other than that you are on your own. Still, if you need help with anything I will be around, just because I don't like you does not mean I will be a bad team leader." Ruby said honestly and her team looked at her with sad eyes.

They guessed this was it, Ruby really was not going to forgive them even after all the tears that they had shed. They were angry at the fact that Ruby was not going to get over it and for what she said to them, but what did they expect? Ruby was absolutely correct, they only started to feel bad when they got called into Professor Goodwitch's office and were informed that Ruby had heard them that night. Before that revelation, they had paid no attention to Ruby and had neglected her multiple times.

Because of that Ruby had changed and she clearly liked who she was now. Her grades improved, she got an offer to be in a unit, and had made new friends in the span of two weeks. The only thing that hadn't changed about Ruby was the fact that she still did everything she could to become a huntress and keep the team together, seeing as though she was going to swallow down her anger and keep working with her team. The girls heard their leader sigh and saw her look at her scroll.

"Look, maybe I will calm down and eventually I can try to forgive you but not right now. Right now, I am angry, and I get triggered every time I see your faces, so just keep your distance. Also, don't tell anyone I am in the unit. I know you already told Team JNPR, but NO ONE ELSE, got it?" Ruby asked with conviction and the girls nodded a bit scared.

"Good, it's late, I'm going to take a shower and then I'm going to bed. Please don't bother me." Ruby said as she grabbed her pajamas and went to the shower.

The WBY all sat on their beds with tears streaming down their faces at what just transpired. They couldn't believe that Ruby could speak with such venom and annoyance, and at them no less. All three of them desperately wanted the outcome of their reunion to end in Ruby forgiving them and things would go back to normal. That was wishful thinking on their part, considering the outcome was getting chewed out by their team leader. In a tearful voice, Yang called out to her two teammates.

"Guys, how in the hell are we going to fix this? She's really pissed off!" Yang said in a trembling voice as tears were flowing down her face.

"I don't know Yang; I am not sure if we can even fix it. You heard her, she will be there to train with us and go on missions but that's it. Clearly Ruby is fine with just having us as her teammates and not her friends." Blake said sadly as she looked down.

"I think the only thing we can do right now is give her space." Weiss said honestly and her teammates looked at her shocked.

"Weiss, how is that going to help? You saw how mad she was, if we leave her alone then our relationship will just wither even more!" Yang exclaimed as Weiss sighed.

"Look you guys, no matter how harsh Ruby's words were, she is right. We neglected her for months and said bad things about her behind her back. We then became hypocrites and started to get on her for going places by herself and not communicating with us. She is also correct on the fact that we only started to worry and feel bad when Ruby stopped talking to us and we got chewed out by Goodwitch. Hell, I don't even think that we congratulated her when she got offered a position to that unit." Weiss said sadly and the other two widened their eyes.

"Oh my God, we didn't…" Yang said as more tears flowed down her face.

"What have we done?" Blake said as she rubbed her temples.

"Honestly you guys, there is no reason for Ruby to forgive us, especially right now. Like she said, maybe she will eventually but we can't rush it or else she will push us farther apart. But we have to accept that we were the ones who neglected Ruby and told her that she was too young to hang out with us and we said all of those things about her. Yet over two weeks she made new friends who invited her to go places with them despite her age. And even though her words made us angry, at least she said it to our faces." Weiss said as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

Blake and Yang thought about Weiss' words and had to agree with them no matter how much they didn't want to. Yang did not appreciate Ruby talking about her nonexistent dating life, nor did Blake appreciate Ruby bringing up the times that Blake nearly got them arrested with her recklessness. But while they talked badly about her just to do it, Ruby did it to make a point. Maybe they would need to give her space, and maybe they needed space from her after what she said. Though they were still heartbroken, they decided to prepare for bed.

Ruby had gotten out of the shower and was brushing her teeth, feeling a weight being lifted off of her shoulders. She tried to keep her emotions in check, but she had been holding all of that in for two whole weeks. She remembered Seth's advice and she was glad that she took it, because if she didn't say anything now then it would destroy her on the inside. And the girls could not just get a pass for what they did, if they really wanted Ruby to forgive them then they would have to earn it.

Honestly though, Ruby did not know if she would ever forgive them. What they did was pretty low, and they treated her just like the regular haters at Beacon did. Now because she heard them that night they wanted to change, but Ruby was very confident that if she hadn't they wouldn't have even considered how they treated her. Ruby was also fine not hanging out with them, especially after the video Jenny showed her that night. She only hoped that Yang would not get Tai, or her dad involved in this but she knew that she would. Speaking of which, her dad was calling right now, and she picked up.

"Hello?" Ruby asked.

"Hi Petal, how are you?" Qrow asked.

"Hey dad, I'm good I got back to Beacon a while ago, my first shift with the unit is done." Ruby told him.

"Oh, that's good. Did you learn a lot?" Qrow asked.

"Yeah I did, was a good experience and I can't wait to go back." Ruby said honestly and Qrow hated that she wanted to go back but didn't bring it up.

"So Ruby…if you are back at Beacon does that mean you have spoken to Yang and your team?" Qrow hesitantly asked and Ruby sighed.

"Yes I did, and no I did not forgive them, sorry to disappoint you." Ruby said sarcastically and Qrow sighed.

"You didn't disappoint me Ruby, I want to apologize for back at the diner. I should not have tried to force you out of the unit or force you to forgive your team. They are the ones that wronged you, so they are the ones who should ask for your forgiveness. And you have been doing well in that unit, those two women seem to like you enough. I promise that I will do my best to stay out of it, so will Tai." Qrow said honestly and Ruby widened her eyes.

"Ok, thank you I appreciate it, speaking of which I noticed that you two still haven't told Yang yet." Ruby said and Qrow sighed.

"Ruby…it's complicated ok? Getting this news is going to destroy her, we just have to do it at the right time." Qrow stated.

"Yeah I know, but I can't call you Uncle anymore and we will see you soon enough, so please do it ok? I have to get to bed I'm exhausted, bye Dad love you." Ruby said honestly.

"Love you too Petal, will talk to you later." Qrow said as Ruby hung up.

Ruby sighed as she put her pajamas on, she was glad that Qrow was going to back off of her being in the unit and the issue with her team. She was pretty surprised though because last week Qrow was adamant about her leaving the unit, saying that she was too young and that she was inexperienced. Clearly he was proven wrong though, maybe he spoke with General Ironwood or something. Ruby started texting Seth as she made her way out of the bathroom and to her bed.

Her teammates looked at her with sad and angry as she walked to her bed, but she didn't look at them. Ruby was glued to her scroll and smiling at what was on the screen. Her teammates wondered again what that was about, maybe she really did make good friends while in Atlas. They saw the pictures of her going to that party and clearly it was not the only one she went to. Rather than dwell on that and what Ruby said, the WBY went to sleep to get over the venom and heartbreak they just experienced.

Morning came soon after that and Ruby was the first one awake as usual. She wanted to go workout but decided that she would probably do that tonight, considering she first had to go see Professor Goodwitch about all the work she missed. Ruby groaned at that thought, she had so much fun with Seth and the others in Atlas that she forgot about all of the make-up work that she had to do. All of her unit members were in the same boat, the things they do to keep Atlas safe.

Wasting no other time, Ruby hopped out of bed and grabbed her clothes then went to the bathroom to freshen up. When she was brushing her teeth, she had to remind herself that when she met with Professor Goodwitch she could not say anything about the mission in Atlas. General Ironwood wanted to keep it as secret as possible, especially so that Haven team wouldn't know that they were on to them. Ruby put on her combat outfit and went out the door without waking her teammates.

As she walked to Professor Goodwitch's office, Ruby took the time to put a security code on her scroll. She knew that Yang was prone to look through her stuff and she really didn't need her finding out about Seth or going into her group chat. Ruby decided that she would keep Seth a secret because she really didn't need her cousin or her team to be in her business. She got to the door of Goodwitch's office and knocked, then she heard a voice telling her to come in and so she did.

"Ah, Miss Rose welcome back! Did you have a good time in Atlas?" Glynda asked with a smile.

"Yes Professor Goodwitch, I like my unit very much and I learned a lot. Anyway, how much work did I miss?" Ruby asked a bit hesistantly and Glynda chuckled.

"Unfortunately, it seems that you have a lot of catch-up work to do Miss Rose. While you are excused from tests because of the unit, there are multiple lessons and assignments that you need to complete. Here, I asked the teachers to put all of the assignments in this file." Glynda said as she handed Ruby a big folder and Ruby groaned mentally.

'Well, goodbye life.' Ruby thought in despair but then turned her attention back to Professor Goodwitch.

"Thank you for this Professor, I will get to work on this right away. By the way, I had a talk with my team last night…" Ruby said as Glynda widened her eyes.

"Oh, is that so?" Glynda asked calmly and Ruby nodded.

"Yes…I thought that you said that you would keep things between us." Ruby said as she tried to be respectful, considering the woman in front of her was the deputy headmistress of Beacon, who sighed.

"I know and I must apologize to you Miss Rose, for breaking the promise that I made to you before you left. I was just annoyed…" Glynda said honestly and Ruby widened her eyes.

"Why?" Ruby asked confused.

"Ruby, I have been watching your team and Team JNPR since the teams were made. I know that all of you have certain faults and you seem to be the only one aware and trying to overcome them while the others have not. I have heard Miss Schnee belittle you over your age and other nonsense, I have caught Miss Belladonna reading in my class while Miss Xiao Long sleeps in my class. Not to mention that I have gotten complaints from other teachers about their behavior and some of Team JNPR's.

Having said that though, I didn't want to intervene because I thought that as you all grew as a team, things would change. Then I noticed that you started to become distant to your team, and when you played that recording for me I had enough. It was clear that nothing was going to change if some revelations were not made, so I gave them a piece of my mind after you left. I know that I betrayed your trust, and I am sorry to say that Ozpin knows as well, but I had to tell him because he is the headmaster. I was just trying to get your friends to see the error of their ways, I am sorry for breaking my promise." Glynda said honestly as Ruby looked conflicted.

Ruby was a bit angry at Glynda, but she also understood her reasoning. Glynda's job was to help students become the best hunters they could be and to fix problems no matter how harsh she could be. She broke the trust with her student, but she did it for what she thought was right and didn't really tell anyone else. And Ruby was not stupid, her team would have gone crazy in order to find out what Glynda knew about her, it was going to happen eventually.

"I wish you would have talked to me about it, but what's done is done. I said my peace last night anyway, I don't know if I can really forgive them but maybe I will down the line. Anyway, thanks for everything Professor Goodwitch, see you around." Ruby said thankfully.

"It is my pleasure Miss Rose, do not hesitate to let me know if you need any help alright?" Glynda said warmly.

"I will, thanks again!" Ruby said as she grabbed her make-up work and headed out the door.

Ruby started to walk back to her dorm room and begin the ominous amount of make-up work that she had to complete. It wasn't like she could go out anyway, all of her friends were in different schools and she didn't want to hang out with her team or team JNPR. She texted her friends in the group chat complaining about all of the homework she had, and they had the same response. Jago said that he may use his paycheck to pay some honor students to do his, to which Ruby laughed until she heard a voice.

"Woah, Red?!" Coco Adel asked, and Ruby rolled her eyes and turned around.

"Hello Coco, is there something you need?" Ruby asked trying to tone down her annoyance and Coco looked at her weirdly.

"Uh no, just surprised to see you is all. How come I haven't seen you around lately? And what's with the makeover?" Coco asked curious.

"Am I too young to change my clothes? Also, my hair has been long like this for a little while and I work out." Ruby said as she really wanted to leave.

"Um no, age is not really a factor for that, good for you on being healthy though." Coco said a bit disturbed as she wanted to know what Ruby's problem was.

"To answer your other question, I have been minding my business, which is what I will continue to do now. Bye." Ruby said as she turned around and walked away, leaving Coco speechless.

Coco was staring at the departing Ruby Rose and wondered what the hell that interaction was about? Admittedly, she had not seen much of Ruby Rose over the past couple months considering that she instructed the rest of Team RWBY and Team JNPR not to bring her when they went out because of her age. Seeing her now though, Coco couldn't believe that the girl was younger than her and how different she was. Maybe she should ask that group what they know about the Ruby Rose she just interacted with…

Author Notes:

Another chapter down and DAMN Ruby went off…I decided to do this first instead of Jaune Goodwitch because I know you guys wanted to see the interaction. Ruby was pretty harsh and did not forgive her teammates, but this is a big part of the story from here on out. Next time we will be getting into some canon stuff, but I can't say how long that will last. Ruby also didn't tell them about Seth, but they are still going to meet him at a later date though and I can't wait to show you guys. Anyway, I want to hear what you guys thought of the confrontation whether it is good or bad. Like and review, see you next time!
