Ruby walked back to her dorm room after leaving Professor Goodwitch's office and having that unwanted encounter with Coco. She had to admit, Ruby found it weird that Coco even talked to her in the first place, not to mention she asked about her whereabouts. Like the others, Coco never really talked to Ruby and did not seem to like her much considering that Coco never invited her to any of her parties. The only reason Ruby interacted with Coco at all was because Coco and Yang were party animals and hung out all the time.

Ruby found it really weird that now Coco wanted to know where she had been and what she was doing, after she had been gone for two weeks. She noticed that it was becoming more and more of a pattern, Ruby changed and the people that neglected her wanted to be in her business. Ruby was annoyed by that and that those people didn't want to keep that same energy. She figured that she could worry about them at a later time though, considering all the work that she had.

It was something that Ruby could not help but be annoyed by, she knew that she missed classes but come on it was a for a good cause. Ruby was incredibly humbled and thankful for the position that Sindel gave her, but couldn't she have made a deal with the teachers to lower their make-up work or something? It's not like they were in Atlas goofing off, they were doing very important things and now they were rewarded with all of this homework no one wanted to do.

Ruby sighed and told herself that she should not be complaining, especially because she was paid $2000 lien for being a part of that unit for two weeks. And whenever she was called back she would be paid again, so it really wasn't worth complaining about the make-up work she had. Plus, now she had a legitimate reason not to spend time with her team as they were not nearly behind as she was. Ruby got to her room and was about to open the door until she heard a voice.

"Ruby?" Jaune asked and Ruby rolled her eyes but turned around anyway.

"Hello Jaune, can I help you?" Ruby asked hoping he would take the hint but unfortunately he didn't.

"Oh uh no, just surprised to see you, when did you get back?" Jaune asked curiously.

"Last night." Ruby responded curtly to which Jaune did pick up on and sighed as a result.

"Listen Ruby, can my team and I talk to you for a minute please?" Jaune asked with some desperation in his voice and Ruby thought about it and headed towards team JNPR's door.

Jaune could only stare the Ruby Rose that was walking to his dorm room, unable to comprehend how much she had changed. Like the other boys in his class, he too was shocked by how much prettier Ruby became when she changed outfits and grew her hair out. In fact, Jaune would even say that she was more attractive than she was two weeks ago before she left, and she even looked more in shape. Unfortunately, Jaune could also see that Ruby was still angry and distant as ever before, meaning that this talk would not be pleasant, but it still needed to happen anyway.

Ruby was walking to Team JNPR's room with Jaune following behind her, honestly not looking forward to this but she knew that Team JNPR would not stop bugging her until she talked to them. If Ruby was being honest she didn't really think about Team JNPR or miss them when she went to Atlas. In fact, it was nice not having to deal with Nora's craziness or Jaune's pathetic attempts at getting Weiss to go on a date with him.

Not only that, but Ren nor Pyrrha really interacted with her anyway so for what reason did Ruby have to miss them? If she was being honest Ruby was fine with not having to talk to them for a while but knew that wasn't going to happen. Ruby wondered if she could keep her emotions in check this time, considering that she was angrier with her team than team JNPR. When it came to Team JNPR, Ruby thought their comments were stupid and hypocritical, so she didn't give them a second thought.

Ruby stopped at Team JNPR's door and waited for Jaune to come and open it, to which he did, and Ruby could tell he was nervous. Not that she blamed him because she had some things to say to all of them about what they said about her that night. When Jaune opened the door, she saw Pyrrha on her bed reading a book and Nora currently had Ren in a headlock. Ruby immediately rubbed her temples and was starting to see why Sindel had concerns about this group.

"Do I even want to know?" Ruby asked as she looked at the orange haired girl who looked up at her.

"Ruby, you're back!" Nora exclaimed as the other two looked shocked.

"Yes Nora I can see that." Ruby said with an eye roll as Nora glared at her and the others sighed.

'This is going to go perfectly.' Pyrrha thought sarcastically.

"Welcome back Ruby, how was your time in Atlas?" Ren asked trying to break the ice.

"Fine." Ruby said while shrugging her shoulders and Team JNPR was starting to get irritated.

They all knew that Ruby was more than likely still angry with all of them, but they had hoped that some time away from them would calm her down. Clearly not, considering that Ruby was still being standoffish and didn't want to be here. She was constantly looking at her scroll, non-verbally telling them that she had stuff to do and whatever they wanted they had better make it quick. Jaune took control of the situation and began speaking.

"Ruby, all of us wanted to apologize for what happened two weeks ago and for the stuff before that. Look, we have been neglecting you, ditching you, and ultimately ignoring you and there is no excuse for that. We should have found ways to include you in the things we did so that we wouldn't leave you here every weekend. We were just excited about the parties we got invited to by Coco and we didn't want to risk taking you because of your age." Jaune explained and Pyrrha followed suit.

"That's right, we never meant to hurt you in anyway Ruby, we were just following Coco's instructions and did not want to miss her events. And we should not have said all of those things about you, we were just caught up in the moment and we took things way too far. We should have kept our mouths shut and we are all sorry for that. Listen Ruby, I know that you pretty much hate us considering that you never reached out to us while you were in Atlas but please. Please find it in your heart to forgive us." Pyrrha said in a pleading tone.

"Ruby, I know that it may seem hard to believe but the four of us are incredibly sorry for what we did. It has been eating us alive ever since we found out that you knew, and we have been dealing with it ever since you left. I know that sorry doesn't make it right but please Ruby try to forgive us and your team. None of us want to be on bad terms with you for the rest of our time here at Beacon, so please forgive us so we all can move on." Ren said in a sad tone.

"Will you forgive us Ruby?" Nora asked in a hopeful tone as Ruby just looked at them with a hard stare.

This was all very ironic to Ruby, considering that two weeks ago she was outside of this very room listening to these people badmouth her. Just like her teammates though, this group wanted to be apologetic now that they were aware that Ruby had heard them that night. Ruby found it very odd that their voices sounded sincere about apologizing, when their voices had also sounded sincere that night they were shit-talking her. There was a lot she wanted to say, but the first question she had was obvious.

"How many people have you told that I was recruited to the unit?" Ruby asked and team JNPR looked confused.

"What do you mean?" Pyrrha asked bewildered and Ruby rolled her eyes.

"You heard me, how many people have you told that I am in the unit in Atlas?" Ruby asked irritated and Jaune spoke up.

"None of us have told anybody, we promise." Jaune reassured Ruby.

"Good, none of you say a word to anyone about me being in the unit, got that?" Ruby commanded and Team JNPR flinched.

"W-why not?" Nora asked a bit scared.

"I don't need to explain myself, just don't say a word." Ruby instructed and then she took a breath.

"To answer your other question, no I do not forgive you all nor did I forgive my team. Look, I gotta be honest when I heard you guys badmouthing me I was really surprised. I know you like my teammates more but damn I thought you guys at least liked me a little bit, but I guess not. At least I know the truth now though, all of you think that I am just some dumb kid with bad social skills and can only win with my weapon. It sucks but at least I know that I am not being lied to anymore." Ruby said honestly and the others widened their eyes.

"Wait Ruby we didn't mean-" Pyrrha tried to say but Ruby cut her off.

"You didn't mean what you said about me that night? Well, that is a lie because your voices that night were as sincere as they were five minutes ago. So yeah, you meant it and the only reason you all are apologetic now is because you found out that I heard you that night. Before that, you all made me out to be the bad guy and walked around normally like you didn't talk shit about me. So, all of this fake sadness you are spilling isn't comforting, to be perfectly honest it's just annoying me." Ruby said with an eye roll.

"Ruby we-" Jaune tried to say but Ruby wasn't done talking.

"And yeah I didn't text any of you guys back, I was too busy enjoying life with my new friends. You know going to clubs, hanging out at the mall or just hanging out at the hotel. It's funny too because the friends I made in Atlas are all older than me and they wanted me to hang out with them. Contradictory to your statement earlier, saying that you didn't want to risk anything because of my age. That's what tells me that your reasoning is a load of garbage." Ruby said angrily and Team JNPR widened their eyes and looked down.

"Ruby listen we-" Ren started to say but Ruby just went on.

"Oh, and then you all took part in the 'Who can talk the most shit about Ruby' game. Ruby is such a child, she can't fight without crescent rose, blah-blah-blah. My hand to hand is getting better thank you very much, my new friends even taught me some new fighting moves. Something you all could have done if it was really such a problem to you. Also, I was recruited by my boss for my precision skills with Crescent Rose, so all of you can kiss my ass." Ruby said with a glare and Team JNPR looked embarrassed.

Of course, Ruby would get recruited for her skills in sniping and combat with her beloved weapon a few days after they themselves commented on her weak hand to hand combat. That realization made them feel like a bunch of fools, focusing on something that Ruby did poorly when it really didn't matter in the end. Team JNPR was getting angry with Ruby's attitude and how she was talking to them, but they knew that they had deserved it for talking behind her back. Here she was expressing her frustration to their faces when she could have done the same thing that they had done.

"Going to your comments about me, let me start with you Jaune. My attitude can be annoying? Well, I apologize for trying to be friendly with you, considering that not a lot of people want to do that. Also, the guy that gets his ass handed to him by Cardin Winchester on a daily basis and can't even answer a simple question on hunter basics will NEVER get to talk shit to me. In fact, someone like that sounds like they need someone like me to help them out, but I guess not." Ruby said with a roll of her eyes and Jaune looked like he had been struck and looked down.

"Hey! Don't talk about him like that! He is still learning!" Pyrrha said angrily and Ruby just looked at her.

"Oh, and Miss Invincible comes to Vomit Boy's rescue once again, thank God there isn't a death stalker on your tail this time. Going to your comments, I am incapable of fighting? Huh, that's weird because I recall kicking your ass in the practice match when we were in Goodwitch's class. I think that I am learning and improving just fine, especially when I'm a FIRST YEAR like all of you. I may not be a tournament champion like you Pyrrha, but I don't need to be to know my worth." Ruby said angrily and Pyrrha glared at her.

"Well, excuse me for offering some constructive criticism!" Pyrrha said angrily and Ruby laughed.

"Constructive criticism, is that what you call it? Talking behind someone's back just to spite them? If so then you are either out of your mind or just making excuses. That does bring up an interesting point however, seeing as though you told us that you hated when people at Sanctum talked badly about you behind your back. Yet you just did the same to me so either you are a hypocrite, or we were never friends to begin with. Which one is it Pyrrha?" Ruby asked with a glare and Pyrrha's eyes widened.

Pyrrha was ashamed to admit it, but Ruby was right. Back when she was at Sanctum, her so called 'friends' talked badly about her behind her back because they were jealous that she was the tournament champion. When she got to Beacon, she promised that she would never do that to any of the friends she made. She wasn't making good on that promise as she talked badly about Ruby behind her back and was paying the price. Coming to that realization, Pyrrha put her head down in shame and Ruby looked at Nora and Ren who each took a step back.

"As for you two, if you really feel that way about my skills you could have said it to my face. Ren my close combat skills may not have been adequate before, but they were more adequate than your attention skills when it comes to classes. Though maybe the reason you need to sleep is because Miss Crazy over there takes all of your energy. Speaking of which Nora, maybe I am useless without Crescent Rose just like you're useless without the caffeine, pancakes, sugar, and tree sap." Ruby snarked and Ren looked sad but Nora was angry.

"Who are you calling crazy?!" Nora asked furiously as she marched up to Ruby and got in her face, but Ruby didn't flinch.

"Do you know that some second and third years think you're a cocaine addict?" Ruby asked nonchalantly and Nora's mouth dropped open and she looked very offended.

This is not how Team JNPR wanted this talk to go but they definitely knew that it would be a possibility. Ruby was still angry at them for what they said that night and how they had been treating her, it showed by her words. The words that she spoke made Team JNPR feel the same way that Ruby had likely felt on that night, maybe even worse because they felt like hypocrites. They all wanted things to go back to normal but after this talk they all knew that it wouldn't.

"Look, the fact of the matter is that if I hadn't heard you that night you all would have continued on like everything was normal and nothing happened. This was proven to be true when you all had a problem with me being on my own and acting like I was a jerk, like you didn't say all that crap about me. The bottom line is that you all meant what you said about me and now that you know you feel bad and want to apologize. So, I'm gonna do what you want and go about my business while you all mind yours, got it?" Ruby asked and Team JNPR wanted to protest but thought it impossible, so they just nodded.

"Good, now I have make-up work to do so please don't bother me." Ruby said as she went out the door.

Team JNPR looked angry and defeated, considering how the conversation with their former friend had just turned out. They wanted to make nice with Ruby, but it seemed like she wasn't having it and it was useless. They all were angry at her comments, especially Nora who was called crazy by Ruby, but what did they expect? They were the ones who did the same thing to her except they did it behind her back. It was also true that they only started to feel bad about what they said when Ruby stopped talking to them and they found out from Goodwitch. Would they ever get on Ruby's good side again? Only time will tell…

Meanwhile in the cafeteria at Beacon Academy, the WBY were having lunch and sulking at the same time. All of them still had the conversation they had with Ruby the previous night fresh in their minds and the feelings were still there. Feelings of sadness, anger, and defeat all lingered in their minds. They knew that there was a good chance that Ruby wasn't going to forgive them, but in their hearts they all still had some hope that she would. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case and she let them all have it last night.

The girls were still angry at Ruby for her comments, even if they did the same thing to her. Yang was angry that Ruby brought up her non-existent dating life, even if it was to make a point. It was true, whenever a guy asked her out she always started to feel herself and never made it to the second date. She didn't know what was wrong with her dating techniques, and really didn't need Ruby to throw it in her face. It also killed her when she found out that her signal friends had been talking behind her back, just like Yang and the others did to Ruby.

Weiss Schnee was in a similar state, as she was still reeling from the conversation they had with Ruby. She knew that Ruby was still angry with them, but she didn't expect Ruby to go off on them like that. It really angered Weiss because they were all sorry and wanted things to go back to normal, and she didn't need to be called an 'Ice Bitch' by her partner. Weiss new that she was not the nicest person on Remnant, but she didn't think she deserved to be called a bitch. Then again, she knew deep down that Ruby was not the only one at Beacon who felt that way about her.

Blake Belladonna was feeling different than her two teammates, in the fact that she felt more sad than angry. While her teammates were reluctant to say it, Ruby had made some pretty good points when she was scolding them last night about their hypocrisy. It was true that Blake did nearly get them all arrested twice in the past, and even though they agreed it wasn't out of their will, it was because Blake made it clear she was going to do something. But Ruby didn't care, all she wanted was for Blake to be happy and it made Blake sick to her stomach knowing that she didn't return the favor.

With feelings of anger and sadness going through them, they WBY figured that the best approach to handle this situation was to give Ruby some space. She did not want to talk to them, and they didn't really want to talk to her for a while. They were going to train this weekend, no matter how uncomfortable and awkward it would be. The three of them knew that they had to get better because Ruby was kind of leaving them in the dust. They were all broken out of their stupors by a familiar voice.

"Hey you three, got a second?" Coco asked the WBY and they all looked at her.

"Oh hey Coco, what's up?" Yang asked curiously.

"I need an explanation." Coco said simply and the WBY was confused.

"An explanation about what?" Weiss asked confused.

"Um, Yang's sister? New hair, new attitude, new clothes, totally hot? I need an explanation on that please because it caught me off guard and weirded me out." Coco said honestly and they all sighed.

"Ruby has been working out for the past few months and she has grown out her hair, not to mention that she got a new outfit. I guess that she got tired of her old look and wanted to make a change, she's so different now." Yang said a bit sadly something that Coco took notice of.

"Oh ok, that's pretty much what she told me. But why did she act like she wanted nothing to do with me and that I was annoying her in some way?" Coco asked and the three sighed again.

"Coco…we really screwed up." Blake said honestly and Coco looked confused.

"Wait, what do you mean?" Coco asked a bit bewildered and the WBY told her what happened.

Coco could not believe what she had just heard from the WBY, but it made a lot of sense for why Ruby was acting the way she was. Coco was aware that they had ditched Ruby to go out on the weekends, she told them to because she deemed Ruby too young. What she didn't tell them to do though was talk crap about Ruby behind her back along with Team JNPR. One would think that they would be smart enough to not shit talk Ruby in a room that was not across from hers.

After hearing it from the WBY, Coco could not really blame Ruby for how she was acting. She had heard the jokes people were saying about her, how she got in because she had somehow bribed Ozpin or some stupid thing. Now that she heard her own teammates doubting her, it's clear that Ruby Rose had hit her breaking point. What she didn't understand was why she was so mad about not going out on the weekends, because she was only 16 so what did she expect?

"Guys...what the hell?!" Coco exclaimed.

"Coco we didn't know that she was listening! If we knew then we wouldn't have said anything and then none of this would have happened. And what does it matter now anyway? Ruby clearly has a lot to say about us." Yang said bitterly but Coco just scoffed.

"You shouldn't have said it at all Yang! It's bad enough that we can't take her to those clubs or parties so how does talking trash behind her back help? Also, it matters because you guys are her teammates, and you should always have her back since she is your leader. But I guess you guys are the same as those clowns who get on her for apparently bribing Ozpin to get admission or some other stupid thing. Like Weiss, oh my God when are you going to leave her alone and quit your bitching?" Coco asked annoyed and Weiss sent her a death glare.

"Coco, I don't need your criticism especially after Ruby called me an Ice Bitch last night. You know what? Yeah I am harsh to Ruby because I hate being one upped by her constantly, excuse the hell out of me for wanting to be the best! Maybe I do like calling her a child because that is the only advantage I have over her. I know that I should be supporting her, and I know that I have to treat her better, but she had no right calling me a bitch and yelling at me as well as the others!" Weiss said angrily but Coco didn't flinch.

"At least she said it to your face and not behind your back." Coco said coldly and Weiss widened her eyes and then lowered her head in shame.

"Honestly, I don't really blame Ruby for being all about her now, especially after what you all said about her. No one wants to be friends with people who talk badly behind their back, and it's clear that before you guys heard it from Professor Goodwitch you all didn't think you did anything wrong. Now my next question is why is Ruby so mad that we didn't take her out to parties? She is only 16 now right? She is too young for this." Coco said and they all sighed.

"Weiss show her." Blake said and Weiss took out her scroll and selected her picture folder.

Coco was confused but her eyes widened as she saw the pictures that came from Weiss' scroll. Those pictures showed Ruby and a few other girls that were as pretty as she was, all having fun at what looked like a party. The other girls looked to be in pretty good shape, and Coco could tell that all of them were older than Ruby was. Yet they let her go with them? Now she was starting to feel like a hypocrite seeing as though she commanded the WBY and JNPR to not invite Ruby to their outings because of their age.

"When did this happen?" Coco asked confused.

"Ruby got invited to do a work study in Atlas, that is where she has been for the past two weeks and those girls are apart of the same program. They are the friends she made and clearly she had fun with them, considering that she never messaged us once while she was there." Yang said bitterly as she also remembered not to say anything about the unit.

"Damn, they clearly are older than she is, but I guess you didn't know her then you wouldn't really know. I bet they all turned heads when they walked into the party, all of them are gorgeous. Hey, wait a second, I know that brown haired girl! That's Cana Alberona, she's one of the most popular girls in Atlas Academy! The parties she throws are wicked and clubs personally invite her so she can rave about them online." Coco informed them and the WBY eyes widened.

"Wait really?!" Yang asked shocked that Ruby made friends with someone so popular so quickly.

"Yeah hold on I'll pull up some pictures on my scroll from her page. Here we go, guess who is in her latest pictures?" Coco said while holding up her scroll and the WBY's eyes widened.

The scroll showed the girl in question, Cana Alberona, and Ruby who was dressed in party clothes. The poses that the two of them were making in the picture made them look like super models and they could see in the comments that some boys wanted the two girls' numbers. It was still shocking to the WBY that Ruby had changed that much and that she apparently was getting more compliments than they were about her appearance. They were going to continue sulking until a voice put them out of their thoughts.

"Yo ladies how it's goin- whoa who are the smoking hot babes?!" Neptune Vasillias exclaimed as he and Sun looked at the pictures on Coco's scroll.

"Hello Neptune and Sun, those girls are Ruby and her new Atlas friends." Weiss said in an annoyed manner and her other two teammates shared her annoyance.

"Wait a second, THAT'S RUBY?!" Sun asked dumbfounded and Neptune had the same look on his face.

'SHE IS TOTALLY HOT!' Both of them thought as they felt their faces heat up.

"Yes that's my sister, what about it?" Yang asked coldly with a death glare and both boys gulped.

"Nothing just surprised is all." Sun said a bit hesistantly.

"How did she change so much, and why does she now have friends in Atlas? More to the point I'm now noticing that we haven't seen her much for the last couple months. Why is that guys?" Neptune asked and the WBY looked down, but Coco spoke up.

"It seems something interesting happened." Coco said as she proceeded to explain what happened to the redhead they once knew.

A Few Days Later:

Ruby was currently sitting in Professor Goodwitch's combat class, watching Pyrrha kick Team CRDL's ass like it was nothing. It had been about a week and a half since she had gotten back and had gone off on her team and Team JNPR. They had been giving her space like she asked for and was grateful but couldn't help but notice the glares they shot at her. She didn't really care though, what they thought of her was no concern on her part.

Ruby had spent the last week and a half catching up on her make up work and going over the lessons that she missed. It was annoying but she knew that it was something that had to be done, and it wasn't all bad. Seth and the others were in the same boat, and it was hilarious to see Sin and Bakugo rant in their group chat. Ruby, Mira, and Akali repeatedly asked Shauna for help with their work considering that she was the smartest. She agreed to help them in amusement for their pain.

The last thing that Ruby was making sure that she paid attention to was the so-called Haven Team that consisted of Mercury Black, Cinder Fall, and Emerald Sustrai. She had to admit, the group did a pretty good job of acting like normal students when they were around Beacon. Hell, if they hadn't seen that video from Dexter Deshawn's implants, Ruby never would have guessed they were imposters. But that was then, and this is now.

So here she was, sitting right next to Mercury and Emerald while her team was a few seats down. Ruby had her eyes on the match but made note to use her senses to see if those other two had slipped up. When she took a look at them she saw that they looked bored, and she couldn't really blame them. The match between Pyrrha and Team CRDL was not entertaining at all, Pyrrha was kicking their asses like it was nothing. Thankfully Pyrrha landed the final blow and Professor Goodwitch called the match.

"Well done Miss Nikos, you should have no problem qualifying for the tournament." Glynda praised and Pyrrha smiled.

"Thank you Professor." Pyrrha said politely.

"Alright, I know that is a tough act to follow but we have time for one more sparring match. Any volunteers?" Glynda asked and a few seconds passed before someone spoke up.

"I'll do it." Mercury said and everyone looked at him.

'So he speaks, this is great I can see what he does and report it back to Sindel.' Ruby thought happily but kept her face neutral.

"Mercury is it? Very well, let's find you an opponent." Glynda said as she looked through her tablet, but Mercury interrupted her.

"Actually, I want to fight…her." Mercury said as he pointed at Pyrrha, and everyone looked confused.

"Me?" Pyrrha asked surprised.

"I am afraid that Miss Nikos has just finished her match, I recommend that you find a different opponent." Glynda said sternly.

"No, it's fine! I'd be happy to oblige!" Pyrrha said excited for the challenge and Glynda allowed it, but Ruby was still confused.

'Does he want to fight Pyrrha to see if he is as strong as her? Or does he think that Pyrrha is the only strong one in the room?' Ruby thought as she watched Mercury go down the stairs.

The fight began and Ruby could see that Mercury did indeed fight in a similar style that Yang did, only he used his boots more than his fists. The weird thing was that Mercury kept hitting Pyrrha's shield and not trying to go for any other part of her body. Also, he was making mistakes that were giving Pyrrha openings to attack him. These mistakes were not things that someone of Mercury's skill should be making, and it made Ruby wonder why he chose to fight Pyrrha in the first place.

'He should be better than this should he not? Wait a minute don't tell me…' Ruby thought but put it aside in order to keep her cool and then she turned to Emerald.

"Your friend is doing well!" Ruby said with enthusiasm and Emerald smiled at her but rolled her eyes in annoyance when Ruby looked away.

The match went on and nothing had really changed, neither of the two were getting tired by any means. Mercury unleashed a series of powerful kicks to which Pyrrha blocked with her shield. When he kicked her again Pyrrha allowed it to hit her forearm before Mercury disarmed her and impaled her blade into the ground. Pyrrha then used her semblance to redirect the direction of Mercury's next kick and she charged at him with her shield to which he shot off of and turned his back to her. Pyrrha tried to rush him again but stumbled as she heard the words that came out of Mercury's mouth.

"I forfeit." Mercury said simply and everyone looked shocked.

"You… don't even want to try?" Pyrrha asked in disappointment that her opponent forfeited.

"What's the point? You're a world-renowned fighter, obviously we are leagues apart." Mercury said while shrugging.

"In that case…Pyrrha Nikos is the victor of the match…again." Glynda said as her eyes were narrowed in suspicion.

Ruby wished that she could tell Professor Goodwitch what was going on, but the general had made it clear that it shouldn't be shared with anyone yet. She noticed that Pyrrha had an annoyed and disappointed look on her face while having her hand on her hip. Not that Ruby could blame her, she would be annoyed too if a match ended like that for her. What she also noticed though was Emerald smirking and Mercury sneering in a smug fashion, causing Ruby to narrow her eyes.

'Guess my suspicions were true, he wasn't fighting Pyrrha, he was studying her. I should let Sindel know about this immediately, we may be running out of time…' Ruby thought but was brought out of her thoughts by Professor Goodwitch's voice.

"Next time, you may want to think a little harder before choosing an opponent." Glynda told Mercury with a stern voice.

"I'll be sure to do that." Mercury said while nodding and Ruby rolled her eyes.

"That is all for today and remember, the dance is this weekend. You all have your first mission on Monday though and I will not accept any excuses. Keep that in mind as you all plan out your weekend, that is all." Glynda said as she dismissed her class.

Ruby knew that the dance was happening and couldn't really care less about going. It's not like she was free this weekend, considering that she still had all of that make up work to do. Besides, Seth was all the way over at Haven and she didn't really feel like asking him to come down for the dance. Not to mention that Ruby did not want her team or anyone else to be in her business. She could also do without Yang finding out she had a boyfriend and trying to punch him through a wall. She emphasized the word try as Seth would be too quick for Yang to handle.

Focusing on the present though, Ruby knew that the first thing she had to do was call Sindel or Litchi and tell them what just happened. She still had no idea what that group was planning, but somehow it involved Pyrrha Nikos. Ruby may not have liked the girl, but that didn't mean she wanted her to get hurt or anything like that. Ruby grabbed her bag and started to make her way to the dorms, she would get on the roof and call Sindel from there so no one could overhear her conversation. On her way out the door she was texting on her scroll as she passed by Emerald and Mercury.

"Learning is so much fun!" Mercury said sarcastically which Ruby heard as she was walking away.

'Oh, you have no idea…' Ruby thought with a smirk as she couldn't wait to throw that group into a cell in the Atlas jail.

Author Notes:

Hey y'all, another chapter down! I just wanna say I read the comments and I get what you guys are saying but chill out lol. This is just a story; it's not real hence why Ruby is different. Sorry about the weird transition from Coco telling Sun and Neptune to them being in class, we will come back to it next chapter. Anyway, in this chapter Ruby roasted Team JNPR, Coco figured out what happened with Ruby and expressed her frustrations at the WBY, and Ruby got one step closer to figuring out what the Haven team was up to. What will happen next? Oh also, if you have a PS5, GET RATCHET AND CLANK RIFT APART! It's like playing a freaking Pixar movie. Anyway, that's all for now, like and review!
