The dance had been going pretty well, everyone was having a good time and people were dancing. It probably helped that everyone had a good laugh after seeing Jaune Arc in a dress, something that his own teammates couldn't believe he did. Jaune explained to his friends that he made a bet with someone that if Pyrrha showed up without a date, then he would wear a dress. His friends wondered who he made that bet with, but Jaune was silent in that matter.

Jaune had been down in the dumps this past week after his conversation with Ruby. It pained his core to admit it and he really didn't want it to be true, but Weiss really didn't like him no matter how hard he tried to reverse that. It made him feel defeated, and he was so defeated that he didn't even bother to comprehend that Ruby told him that Pyrrha liked him. He felt that there was no way that was true, it had to be Ruby just getting back at him for what he said about her that night.

Yet nothing could prepare Jaune for the sad scene that he saw when he caught Pyrrha gazing into the night on the balcony. Jaune could see the sadness in her eyes and when he asked her where her date was she replied that she didn't have one. It shocked Jaune who continued listening to Pyrrha say that everyone thinks just because she is a tournament champion meant that she had all of these people drawn to her, but it was the opposite. Jaune didn't know what to do in the moment but knew that she needed some cheering up, so he put on the dress.

What followed after that was Team JNPR doing some kind of dance number, something that caused the crowd to get into it. Meanwhile Blake was having fun with Sun as her date, she was really glad that she accepted his offer. She always felt butterflies when she was with Sun, but never knew if it was a good thing or not. After today she knew that it was a good thing and wondered when the right time would be to take things further with him.

Weiss and Yang were happy that things were going so well at the dance, but both of them could not help but feel disappointment as well. Weiss was sad that Neptune didn't ask her to the dance, and she was even more upset that he seemed to be avoiding her for some reason. Yang was trying to have a good time but found it difficult to do that alone, not to mention she was still pretty angry that Ruby was apparently out with some boy that she had never mentioned. She knew Ruby was still pissed at them, but she never imagined something like this would follow.

Meanwhile, Emerald and Mercury were doing their best to act natural and not draw any attention to themselves while Cinder was in the tower. They had lost communication with her, but they didn't worry too much, Cinder probably just switched it off after she got done in the tower. Even if she was spotted it wouldn't matter because Cinder could handle anything, at least that is what Emerald fully believed. They both believed everything would be fine, but that belief would not be proven true as a group Atlesian Soldiers busted through the doors and were immediately in front of Emerald and Mercury with their weapons drawn.

"Hands in the air now!" One of them commanded and the two did as they were told.

"What's going on here?!" Glynda asked a bit freaked out and everyone else was just as scared as the music stopped.

Just then Ruby and Seth came through the door, with Seth pushing Cinder who was in hand cuffs forward with each step. Everyone's eyes widened at this and were shocked at what was happening but no more than Emerald and Mercury. Cinder had been caught and was apparently caught by Ruby? How was that even possible and who was the other guy? Also, how did Ruby get in contact with Atlesian Soldiers and how was none of this transmitted to Emerald or Mercury through Cinder's scroll? An atlesian soldier grabbed Cinder's arm and brought her to the other two and commanded they all get on the ground.

"Cinder what's going on?!" Emerald asked scared but Cinder just glared at her.

"Don't say a word!" Cinder hissed as the soldiers put handcuffs on Emerald and Mercury.

The students and teachers could not believe what was happening, here they were enjoying their dance and suddenly soldiers stormed the doors and were arresting students. The WBY and Team JNPR were shocked too but they were looking at Ruby. Clearly she was involved in this because she and that other guy had brought Cinder Fall in handcuffs. Was this because she was a part of that unit in Atlas? That unit was just for taking down grimm and gathering intelligence so how did that make sense?

Also, the WBY took a good look at the guy that was with Ruby and put together quickly that he was the guy Ruby had gone out with. They all would never admit publicly but the boy was very handsome and looked to be very skilled. He was a bit taller than Ruby and had black hair with a white streak at the top. Like Ruby the guy wore all black and he had a certainly threatening demeanor about him. Yang wanted nothing more than to go pummel the guy for being around her sister, but even she knew that she should hold back considering what was going on. That didn't mean that she wouldn't give the boy a death glare.

"What is the meaning of this-" Ozpin tried to ask but was interrupted by General Ironwood who was chuckling and walking towards the incapacitated group.

"Well, well, well what do we have here? It looks like a group of Haven students who thought they were so clever…" Ironwood said with a smirk as the three widened their eyes.

'Shit he knows…' The haven group collectively thought with fear and anger, just then Ozpin spoke up.

"James, what is going on?!" Ozpin asked in a demanding tone as he wanted an answer.

"Well Ozpin, it seems like these three transfers have been pretty busy in criminal tactics and were doing it under our noses the whole time. Not anymore though…" Ironwood said, and Ruby took the chance to speak up.

"General, we caught Cinder trying to upload some sort of virus into the CCT's main network. Sadly, I had to shoot the scroll she was using but maybe the tech lab in Atlas could process some data off of it?" Ruby suggested and Ironwood took the scroll from her.

"Thank you Detective Rose, I am sure that the workers in the tech lab can get some good information off of this, as well as Black and Sustrai's scrolls. No doubt this will bring us closer to finding Torchwick and the White Fang, good work you two." Ironwood praised and everyone else looked dumbfounded.

"Wait, detective?" Emerald asked with wide eyes and Ironwood smirked.

"That's correct, Detective Ruby Rose and Detective Seth Dreyar of the newly formed Intelligence Unit in Atlas." General Ironwood said proudly and everyone in the auditorium looked at Ruby and Seth with wide eyes.

"You're a cop?!" Mercury asked in shock and in anger.

"That's right, and you are all under arrest for murder, crimes against the kingdoms, theft, and an accessory to the murder of one Dexter Deshawn." Ruby said with a smirk and the students were dumbfounded and the group from Haven looked like they had seen a ghost.

The group from Haven could not believe how badly their world had been turned upside down. They were sure that their plan was going to go perfectly, but it ended worse than they could have imagined. Somehow General Ironwood and apparently Ruby and this other guy knew everything and that was very bad. The cuffs on them drained their aura so neither Emerald or Cinder could use their semblances and try to escape, so they would be heading for a jail in Atlas.

To make matters worse, Ironwood and the other two clearly knew that they had been working Roman Torchwick and The White Fang. Considering that Ruby said they were under arrest for being an accessory to the murder of Dexter Deshawn, that let the three know that Ironwood was aware of many events that preceded this night. And the soldiers had taken their scrolls, so they couldn't contact Torchwick or the White Fang and tell them that they had been compromised. And it was only a matter of time before Ironwood and this new unit figured out they were in Vale…

Meanwhile the students, more importantly Team JNPR and the WBY were all shocked by what was going on. That group from Haven were apparently terrorists and that Cinder girl was trying to upload a virus into the communication tower? What reason could she have for doing that and why were they working with the White Fang and Torchwick? The WBY had encountered Torchwick twice in the past and he never gave off the vibe that he was working with anyone else beside the White Fang, so what connection did they have?

Also, Ruby was a part of the newly formed Intelligence Unit in Atlas, and she was a Detective?! She told them that she would just be hunting some grimm and gathering basic information, so how did it escalate to this?! And how long had she known about that group from Haven and what they were really up to? They figured that Ruby had known since she got back, it explained why she told them and Team JNPR to not tell anyone she was in the unit. She must have not wanted any information to get to Cinder and the other two. There were still unanswered questions and the WBY were going to get it from Ruby tonight one way or the other…

Glynda and Ozpin were also shocked by what was going on but unlike the others they were furious at a certain Atlesian general. James only told them that Ruby was going to be hunting grimm and maybe so lowtier criminals, but nothing to major. How wrong they had been since it seemed like Ruby was keeping this a secret from them on James' orders. There were apparently terrorists in their school, and they had no idea, and were not given a notification from their supposed confidant.

Though Ozpin had to wonder why these three had chosen Beacon to take shelter at while doing these schemes. He paled to think that these three were minions of Salem, and they were sent by her to investigate and also bring Beacon down. Did James also have that idea too or did he only care that the group was a bunch of criminals? If they really were minions of Salem then Ozpin was glad that Ironwood, Ruby and this other fellow had captured them. Though that did not mean that he would not give James a stern talking to.

"All right that's enough talking and it seems like your ride is here to take you to Atlas' maximum-security prison. Party is over everyone, go back to your dorms and try not to gossip about all of this no matter how hard it may be. Detective Dreyar, would you mind accompanying the soldiers while they walk these criminals to the airship. Just in case one of them tries to escape despite the fact that it is pointless." Ironwood commanded and Seth nodded.

"I'm gonna call Sindel and tell her that a few new guests are coming to town." Ruby said as she pulled out her scroll and Ironwood nodded.

"Good idea, it would be best to get these three questioned as soon as possible, one of them will talk…" Ironwood said as he narrowed at the Haven group who were all sweating bullets.

"Alright you heard the man, everybody pack it in!" Seth said as he motioned for the crowd around him to go back to the dorms.

Seth must have used a commanding tone because everyone did as he asked, the woman that Ruby told him was Professor Goodwitch was ushering the students back to the dorms. Seth saw Yang Xiao Long giving him a death glare as she was exiting, and Seth rolled his eyes seeing as though he knew what that was about. He was just thankful that Yang read the situation and didn't try to attack him like Ruby said she would. Seth also saw Jaune Arc totally in a dress and Seth groaned at the fact that he had to give Ruby money for winning the bet.

Seth followed the soldiers closely behind as they and the group from Haven started to walk to the airship field. As they got to the exit Seth reluctantly handed Ruby the money he owed her, and his girlfriend took it with a victorious smirk on her face that caused Seth to groan. Nevertheless, it had been a pretty good night, he got to see his girlfriend and they had made a major breakthrough in the case. Now the group from Haven was going to be sitting in a jail cell in Atlas, all that was left was to find Torchwick and the White Fang and bring them in…

Sindel Diamond's Home:

Special Agent Sindel Diamond had just finished her other job for the night which was being a mother to two young girls. Her daughters Kitana and Kasane had just been read a bedtime story by their mother and now it was time for bed despite that they were not tired yet. Sindel just told them that they needed their rest if they wanted to grow up big and strong like her. She smiled as her daughters nodded with a smile, saying that they wanted to grow beautiful and strong just like their mom.

Sindel kissed both of her children on the forehead and told both of them goodnight as she turned off the light and shut the door. She was grateful for the time she could spend with her children and husband in the evening, considering that she was gone practically all day because of her job. Being a mother and a special agent in the Atlas military were both tiring jobs but Sindel believed that she had the resolve and determination to do both.

Her husband Jerrod had the same idea, considering that he was very busy at his job being one of the workers in Atlas' energy department. He wasn't gone as long as Sindel was during the day, but sometimes when an emergency happened, or the system needed to be updated he was gone more than Sindel. He was a family man though, and like Sindel he valued being with his family more than anything. He was sitting on the couch in their living room as Sindel came in and gave his wife a smile.

"Are the girls asleep?" Jerrod asked and Sindel nodded.

"Yes all it took was a story to get them to go to bed, even though it probably will be a little bit before they are fully asleep. Those girls have so much energy, it is to be expected at their age." Sindel chuckled as she sat in her husband's lap and gave him a kiss.

"We are going to have to enjoy their youthful years before they become teenagers and things get more complicated. We already have enough stress with our jobs." Jerrod said with a laugh and Sindel playfully hit him in the arm.

"Oh, quit whining, it's nothing that the both of us can't handle and our jobs go along well with our skills. Work doesn't feel like work, the only irritating part is that they require so much of our time. Besides, what kind of example would we be setting for the girls if we complained about our careers that we ourselves chose?" Sindel said and her husband sighed.

"Yeah I get it dear, don't worry I wasn't being serious. Anyway, work today was incredibly boring, how are things going with the case you and Litchi are working on?" Jerrod asked and Sindel sighed.

"We are working on preparations for bringing our suspects in, but we really want to catch them in the act, so we don't have to just storm Beacon. Plus, we can't tip them off and risk them leaving Vale and we have to find them all over again. So, we are just trying to catch them off guard, but I can tell that General Ironwood is getting impatient…" Sindel said honestly and her husband put his hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry dear, things will work, and you will find a way, you always do." Jerrod said with a smile and Sindel smiled back.

"Thank you honey." Sindel said gratefully as she leaned into him but then her scroll rang.

"Is that the General?" Jerrod asked her but she shook her head.

"No, it's one of my detectives but why would she be calling so late?" Sindel asked but she answered the call.

"Ruby is everything ok? Why are you calling me so late?" Sindel asked her detective.

"We got them, the group from Haven." Ruby said seriously and Sindel widened her eyes.

"What?! How did that happen and who is we?" Sindel asked dumbfounded as she stood up from her couch and her husband looked flustered.

'What kind of news did she get?' Jerrod wondered as he saw his wife look completely shocked.

"Seth and I were coming back from hanging out in Vale, only to find unconscious soldiers outside of the CCT. The dance was going on tonight so no one heard the commotion, making it the perfect night for someone to pull a heinous act without getting caught. Luckily Seth and I were there, and we contacted the general, he told us that he saw Emerald and Mercury but not Cinder. Seth and I went the top and sure enough Cinder was in the main room, and we beat her and captured her." Ruby said and Sindel was still shocked.

"That is incredible, I am so proud and thankful for you two Ruby, great job. But why was Cinder in the CCT in the first place? Why go through all that trouble just to get into the tower?" Sindel asked confused.

"Cinder was trying to put some virus into the tower's main computer, but we don't know what it was, and I had shot her scroll to stop the upload process. We are loading the three into the transport now but none of them are talking, I am guessing that Cinder forced the two to keep quiet. I think that they know that they are pretty much screwed, and we know everything, but maybe Emerald or Mercury will flip if you show them what we know. We are sending them to you now in Atlas to the Jail, General Ironwood would like you and Litchi to question them." Ruby told them and Sindel immediately went to get her shoes.

"Understood, great work again Ruby, tell Seth that I am proud to have both of you in my unit. Let me know if something else happens, talk to you soon." Sindel said with praise as she ended the call.

"Dear what's going on?" Jerrod asked his wife who was getting her weapon.

"My detectives caught three of our suspects, they are on the way here to Atlas now. Sorry honey but I have to go, I need to question them immediately so we can try to get some new information. Please don't wait up for me alright?" Sindel told her husband and he nodded.

"Alright dear, please be careful and go do your thing." Jerrod encouraged and Sindel kissed him goodbye.

Sindel walked out of the house and immediately dialed Litchi's number, thankfully she was still awake and picked up on the first ring. Sindel explained the situation as quickly and to the best of her ability and told Litchi that she needed to meet her at the jail. Litchi complied and told Sindel that she would meet her at the jail to question the group from Haven. Sindel got in her car and turned the siren on so that she would not be met with any traffic. They were going to get answers from that Haven group tonight…

Airship Field at Beacon Academy:

The soldiers had just finished putting the group from Haven in the transport, no matter how much they were kicking and screaming. All three of them were infuriated that their plans had been ruined and that no one was coming to save them. They all knew that Ironwood was not going to be lenient with them when they got to the prison, especially if he figured out they were with Salem. With the aura sealing cuffs on them, they imposters from Haven could do nothing but watch as the doors closed, and they took off into the sky.

Ironwood, Ruby, and Seth looked at the leaving airship with satisfaction, knowing that they had just prevented a real threat for Beacon Academy and Remnant itself. Ruby was thankful that Seth came and took her on that date, if she had stayed in the dorm there was no way that she would have known what Cinder was up to. Ironwood was especially thankful for his detectives since he was enjoying the party like a fool and not watching that group's every move.

Nevertheless, the group was caught and was headed for the prison, where Sindel and Litchi would try and get some answers out of them. Ironwood had faith that they would, he gave them that new unit for a reason and no one could interrogate criminals like they could. James wouldn't make the arrest public just yet and he was sure that Ozpin would agree with him. The moment news of that group's arrest made the headlines, Torchwick and the White Fang would disappear and that could not happen. Ironwood turned to his detectives with a smile on his face.

"I knew I made the right decision giving Sindel and Litchi that new unit, and I knew they would make excellent decisions on who they would bring in it. You two proved that tonight, a job very well done. You have protected Remnant from a very real threat and have put people who would threaten it where they belong. I am happy to have you two as part of the Atlas military, and you two showed why you are valued by your academies." Ironwood said honestly with praise and the two smiled.

"Thank you General Ironwood, you honor us." Ruby said gratefully with a smile.

"We are just glad we did our part General, thanks for the opportunity and the benefits." Seth said with a grateful tone.

"It is my pleasure you two, you have done Remnant proud tonight." Ironwood said with a smile but heard a voice.

"James, I would like a word please." Ozpin said as Glynda was right next to him with a glare in her eyes.

"Yes one moment Ozpin. Alright I think that your headmaster would like an explanation and I am going to give him one. However, you two shouldn't say any of this to anyone, only the remaining members of your unit can know and tell them not to tell anyone either. This is a private matter and we do not know where Torchwick and the White Fang are. If they find out those three were arrested then they will run for the hills and disappear something that can't happen. Understood?" Ironwood asked them and they both nodded seriously.

"Don't worry General, my team will understand as I explained to them that they were your rules when I first got back a couple weeks ago." Seth assured him but Ruby's situation was different.

"Unfortunately, I don't think my team will be as complicit as Seth's. God knows that Weiss and Yang are gonna try to bombard me with questions and I don't think that they will take no as an answer." Ruby said honestly.

"Tell them it is on MY authority Ruby, and that is all that matters." Ironwood said seriously and Ruby nodded.

"Understood General." Ruby acknowledged.

With that said General Ironwood went to where Ozpin and Glynda were, and they did not look happy at all. Ironwood secretly thought that they would just have to get over it and believed that they were just angry he didn't tell them about the Haven group. Ruby saw that Glynda was giving her a glare as well, it made her feel bad because she did deserve to know along with Ozpin, but this was the best course of action. In the end they got the Haven group, and they were going to jail, that's all that mattered.

"Well beautiful tonight was fun, but I should be heading back." Seth said reluctantly but Ruby just smiled.

"You sure know how to show a girl a good time handsome, this was a hell of a night. I think my favorite part was kicking your ass in pool." Ruby said with a smirk and Seth glared at her.

"Oh yeah?" Seth growled playfully as he pulled Ruby close to him.

"Yeah!" Ruby growled back as she wrapped her arms around her boyfriend.

The two smiled at each other before locking lips and engaging in a deep kiss. Ruby was glad she got to see him again so soon, especially with the crap she had to deal with concerning her team. It was fun to spend time with Seth, it was crazy that they had barely been dating a month and she felt happy with him. Luckily it would not be so long before she saw him again since the Vytal Festival was coming up soon.

"Let me know when you get back to your hotel ok?" Ruby said as she removed her lips from Seth's.

"Will do, see you next time, thank God it's not too long from now." Seth said with smile as he waived her goodbye and got on the last airship to Vale.

Ruby waived Seth goodbye as he got on the airship and started walking to her dorm. She reflected on the night and couldn't believe all the good things that happened. She was rescued from her boredom of doing makeup work by her boyfriend and got to spend time with him. The professional in her wouldn't allow herself to be out for too long though since she had her first mission in the morning. Thank God for her professionalism since if they didn't leave early they never would have caught Cinder in that tower.

Ruby still wondered why Cinder was trying to put a virus into the mainframe of the CCT, was she trying to destroy Beacon? More importantly was Beacon the target for the White Fang's next attack? She sure hoped that Sindel and Litchi were able to get some new information out of those three, no matter how hard it would be. Cinder was definitely not going to give up anything, her pride would not allow it, but Ruby had a feeling the other two would if Sindel and Litchi pressed hard enough.

General Ironwood told her and Seth not to say anything about the case to anyone of their friends, to which Ruby understood and agreed with. This was not something that needed to become gossip and no one else besides them really needed to know about it. Though Ruby imagined that her team was not going to take no for an answer, but she doubted they wanted a problem with General Ironwood. Being so far up the chain, what he said goes and there would be no argument against him.

Ruby wished she could use that same line when it came to her teammates and more importantly her cousin asking about her boyfriend. It was a conversation that Ruby was really not looking forward to because she knew that Yang was going to go overboard with it. Ruby was just going to tell her that it was none of her business, which it wasn't, but knowing Yang all these years she doubted that the hothead would drop it so easily.

And she just knew that she was going to get a call from her dad and Uncle Tai considering those two were the first people that Yang was going to call when she didn't get what she wanted. Ruby still would not be the one to break it to Yang that they were cousins and not sisters, Tai and Qrow were the ones keeping the secrets, so it fell to them. Ruby wondered if they actually were going to do it, she figured not soon because they would probably overthink it and delay it as long as they could.

Ruby was approaching her room as she finished texting the girls in her unit about what happened tonight. The three of them told her that she was amazing and praised her for capturing the group from Haven. They expressed their sorrow for not being there to help she and Seth out, but Ruby shot down the apologies, telling them that no one knew that this could happen tonight. Shauna told them that she would be keeping an eye on headmaster Lionheart and see how he would react to the news once it got to him.

Mira told them that she would contact Sindel and tell her that she would be available to help with the interviews with the group from Haven. Since it was her specialty Mira could be a great help, but the others thought that maybe she should wait and keep quiet since the group from Haven only knew that Seth and Ruby were a part of the unit. They told each other that they would keep in contact, and the girls congratulated Ruby again and told her to tell Seth of their praise.

Ruby told them thanks and made her way to her room and opened the door to see her teammates suddenly look at her with death glares. It immediately caused Ruby to roll her eyes considering she knew what the glares were about, and she doubted that she was going to get a congratulations for what she and Seth did. No, she was going to get yelled at for keeping secrets that she was ordered to keep, but that wouldn't matter to them. Just then Yang stomped forward, and Ruby looked at her with a blank stare.

"Get inside NOW!" Yang yelled with a glare and Ruby rolled her eyes.

"Yeah because clearly I wasn't going to do that anyway, I mean it's not like I live here or anything." Ruby said sarcastically as she closed the door and her teammates looked at her angrily.

"Ruby enough of the sarcasm! We want to know what the hell happened tonight, and we want to know now!" Weiss demanded and the other two nodded their heads.

"That information is classified." Ruby said seriously and the WBY looked even more infuriated.

"Oh yeah says who?" Blake asked with a glare and Ruby rolled her eyes.

"General Ironwood of course, want to keep going?" Ruby asked with a smirk and the three growled.

"So, we are not allowed to be informed that our teammate is involved in something dangerous like taking down supposed terrorists? How long have you known about that group from Haven? And since when has your unit been the prime Intelligence Unit for the Atlas military?" Weiss asked as she wanted answers, but Ruby just gave her a blank stare.

"Look all you need to know is that a group of bad people were arrested and will be put away for good. Take the win and I'm going to take a shower, you three should rest up since we have our first mission in the morning." Ruby said as she took her jacket off and was headed for the shower, but a voice stopped her.

"This conversation isn't over Ruby, who was that guy you were with?!" Yang asked with fire in her eyes.

"My boyfriend, why do you care anyway?" Ruby asked curiously and the WBY's eyes widened.

"What do you mean why do I care? I am your big sister I am supposed to look after you! And you start going out with some guy that I haven't even met; how could you be so irresponsible?!" Yang asked angrily and Ruby just laughed.

"Yang, the day that you can complain to me about being irresponsible is the day that hell freezes over. Also, I like that you can use the big sister energy when something you don't like happens, but that shit turns off when you badmouth me." Ruby said amused and Yang just growled.

"How did you even end up with a boyfriend anyway? And why didn't you mention him?" Blake asked angry at Ruby's attitude and that she was keeping secrets.

"Uh he asked me out, what do you think he did? And the reason why you three didn't know is because it's none of your business." Ruby said as she thought it was obvious, but her teammates looked at her with wide eyes.

"What do you mean he asked you out?!" Yang asked as her anger was clouding her judgement and Ruby rolled her eyes.

"I mean that he asked me out Yang, that is kind of what happens when a guy sees a bad chick in front of him. He asked me out to dinner after our unit's first mission and we have been going from there. We hang out, talk, kiss and that is pretty much it. So, what is the problem?" Ruby asked curiously as her teammates glared at her.

"The problem Ruby is that we know nothing about this guy! And you clearly were not going to tell us even if we found out, we are a team so aren't we supposed to trust each other? What's with keeping all the secrets?" Blake asked angrily and Ruby snorted.

"Blake, am I really about to be lectured by you about keeping secrets?" Ruby asked with a glare as Blake's eyes widened and she looked down.

"Don't change the subject Ruby, this is about you going out with a guy you just met, don't you know how dangerous that is? And who told you that you could start dating anyway? You are only sixteen!" Yang said angrily and Ruby rolled her eyes.

"Me, myself and I, the only ones that matter when it comes to my business. You know you three are so damn predictable, I hate people like you. You girls really have the nerve to think you can have a say in my love life and tell me what to do after shit talking me? And of course, that's all you care about, the negatives, since I haven't heard of any of you congratulate me on the arrest of that group from Haven. It really says a lot about you three, not focusing on the main point.

Me and my boyfriend stopped a dangerous group from doing some very bad things, and such will protect Remnant from their claws. But nope that doesn't matter, all that matters is that a guy had the audacity to find me attractive and ask me out. All that matters is that Ruby has a private life and you three don't like it so it makes her the villain. That is more important than a group of terrorists being stopped and locked away, that sound about right?" Ruby asked with a glare as the WBY widened their eyes and then lowered their heads in shame.

What Ruby said was correct even though the WBY hated to admit it. It was just like when she got the offer for the unit, none of them congratulated her all they cared about was her new attitude and being distant from them. And tonight, Ruby had been successful in stopping what apparently was a dangerous group of terrorists from doing God knows what. The WBY didn't care about that though, they were angered by Ruby keeping secrets and apparently having a secret boyfriend.

The WBY were still angry, but they were also ashamed, especially in the fact that they wanted to get on better terms with Ruby but they were just causing her to push away more. They basically just told Ruby that she had to get their permission to do things in her private life, even if she was more successful than they were. Considering that they said they didn't want Ruby to be in their personal business, it made the WBY feel like hypocrites seeing as though they were pretty much in hers.

"Now if this little therapy session or whatever the hell this is has come to a close, I will be getting in the shower. And don't try to go through my scroll because it has a password you will not be able to crack." Ruby said with a glare as she turned around but Weiss suddenly spoke up.

"You know…yeah." Weiss suddenly said and everyone looked at her.

"Yeah what?" Ruby asked wondering what the princess wanted now.

"I mean yeah I do like calling you a child and being overbearing, I mean it is pretty much the only advantage I have over you. See when I first came to Beacon I thought that I was going to be the best and the attention would be on me but apparently not. Here comes this girl who is younger than me and got moved two years by our headmaster. I can't lie I wanted you to be a bust, but you are the opposite, you are better in combat, and you took the leader position. You're so good that you were chosen to be a part of that unit above anyone else in Beacon.

Not only that, but it seems you have also beaten me in the romantic aspect as well. I have been waiting for months to have Neptune ask me out and I thought he would for the dance but nope. I wasn't asked by anyone, and my crush spent the whole night avoiding me. But of course, you meet a guy on your trip in Atlas and apparently all it took for him was to get one good look at you and now you have a boyfriend. You're the only one of us who has one, so congrats Ruby, you win again!" Weiss said bitterly as she had a glare on her face and tears running down her cheeks.

Blake and Yang looked at their teammate with a sad expression on their faces as she vented. Clearly this was something that Weiss had been holding in for a while and was doing her best to keep it hidden away. They knew Weiss was competitive and that she was ambitious, but they never knew she was this upset by Ruby's success. They felt bad for her, but Ruby just looked at the girl with a blank stare and gave her a sigh.

"Weiss, this isn't a competition, it's training to be the best huntress you can be. None of the things I accomplish will stroke my ego because all I care about is keeping people safe and it will be easier as I grow. If you just want people to witness your greatness or to give you praise you can do other things than being a huntress. Also, you probably don't realize it but Neptune isn't good enough for you." Ruby said honestly and Weiss widened her eyes and so did Blake and Yang.

"W-what do you mean?" Weiss asked as she was afraid of the answer.

"Neptune isn't the guy you think he is, he wanted me to give him Mira and Cana's numbers. I know you think that he is a knight in shining armor, but in reality he is just a dork who chases after girls and has a high opinion of himself. You can do so much better but if you want to keep going after him than I won't stop you. All of you should get ready for bed, we have our mission tomorrow and we need to be at our best." Ruby said as she went to the shower.

As Ruby went to the shower the WBY got ready for bed but all of them had thoughts on their minds. Weiss felt heartbroken when Ruby told her that Neptune had asked for Mira and that Cana girl's number, that felt like a million slaps to the face. Were they just prettier than her or was there another reason? Weiss went to be wondering what the answer to that was, even if part of her didn't want to know it. Blake and Yang were a bit grateful to Ruby for telling Weiss the truth about Neptune, even if they were sad to see their teammate looked heartbroken. The three wondered if they should mind their business about Ruby being in the unit and her private life, but could they really do it? Only time will tell…

Author Notes:

Hey y'all here is a new chapter, sorry if it is a long one. I went on vacation and just got back a few days ago. Dude I binge watched Demon Slayer and holy shit I already can't wait for the next season! I also started playing Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut and it made me fall in love with the game all over again. Anyway, it's game over for Cinder and the other two since they are going to the Atlas prison. Will Torchwick and the White Fang be next? Yang found out that Ruby had a boyfriend and she wasn't happy but Ruby stood her ground and insisted that her private matters were her own. Anyway, like and review and I will see you next time!
