Ruby was walking back to her dorm room to grab her teammates to get ready for their mission, what happened earlier was still fresh in her mind. She didn't know whether to be angry, guilty or sad, so she pretty much felt all three at once. On one hand Ruby was angry that Professor Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch had woke her up so early in the morning just to interrogate her. She really thought it was stupid, did they really think that Ironwood was withholding information from them? And if they did, did they really think that Ruby was going to crack under pressure?

Maybe the Ruby of old would, but who she was now? Yeah they would have to send a few more shots before she would crack. Ruby really didn't understand why her two professors were more upset than happy that those criminals were now in cells. Yes, they were kept in the dark, but that was for the own good and the good of the mission. If they had known, the three from Haven definitely would have caught on and they would have run. There was not a chance in hell that the unit would find them either.

Another emotion that Ruby was feeling was sadness, she really didn't think that her teachers would blow up on her like that. She knew that her team would last night, that's why she wasn't surprised just annoyed. Ruby felt that Professor Ozpin and Goodwitch would at least see the General and the unit's reasoning for leaving them in the dark. Sure, they would be upset, but she really believed that they would see the biggest prize of the night. Clearly not though, and Ruby doubted that they were not going to keep sticking their nose into this case.

Ruby would be lying if she said she didn't feel a little guilty though. Even though she knew it was the right course of action to take, she hated lying to Ozpin and Goodwitch. Those two pretty much were the reason why she herself was at Beacon in the first place. If it wasn't for them, she never would have been able to join Beacon two years early and would probably be at Signal alone. She sighed, what a big mess this all was, but as long as the bad guys were in jail that's all that mattered.

'The question is, how do we find Torchwick? None of those Haven crooks are gonna say a word, and even though Ozpin prevented anything to be leaked online, is that really enough? Torchwick probably has a ton of connections, he may be making his escape right now. Sigh, this could be a super-sized problem…' Ruby thought in her mind as she was interrupted by her scroll ringing, she looked at the screen and saw it was her dad.

"Hey dad, what's up?" Ruby asked nonchalantly before her eardrums got blasted.

"What's up?! Don't you "what's up" me young lady! James called me last night saying that you and some other detective arrested three terrorists last night? Not only that but you have known they were at Beacon, and you didn't tell me or anybody else?! Are you hurt anywhere?" Qrow asked frantically in a loud voice that caused Ruby shock.

'Fuck, my ears…' Ruby thought in pain as she got her bearings and answered her father.

"Yes, Dad I am fine, the only part of my body that is injured are my ears because your yelling caused them to start ringing. And yes, we arrested the suspects in our case after finding one of them in Beacon's control tower trying to upload a virus. Now to answer your other question, I know you talked to General Ironwood last night and I am pretty sure he already gave you your answer, so why are you asking me?" Ruby asked annoyed after what she just went through with Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch.,

"OK first sorry for destroying your eardrums or whatever you exaggerated, but as your father I am allowed to worry about your wellbeing. Also, I can do without the sarcasm and the attitude thank you very much. Yes, I did talk to James and now I am talking to you, why in hell did you agree to have this mission in secret? These are terrorists Ruby! I expected this from James, but I thought you would have more sense than that!" Qrow said angrily and Ruby rolled her eyes.

"You are correct in thinking that I have sense, because I do and that's why I agreed to the secret mission. Dad, if we didn't do things quietly and tried to arrest those guys guns blazing then there was a good chance they would get away. And if they got away there's a very good chance that we wouldn't find them again, if Ozpin didn't know about them what makes you think anyone else will? Look I'm sorry I kept you in the dark, but it was for the best." Ruby said honestly and Qrow sighed.

Qrow knew that she was right and really, he was just glad that she was ok. He figured that he like everybody else was just going to have to get used to this new Ruby, the one that was analytical and more confident. The old Ruby would be stuttering and freaking out at his harsh words, but that Ruby was gone. She was right though, had she and that unit spread the word about that group, and they found out then they would bail and never been seen again.

"Ok, look I am sorry about the yelling, but I just wanted to make sure you were ok. No matter how much I don't like it, you and your unit made the right decision. However, Petal I am really worried about you and what's been going on with you lately. For example, James told me that you and those other kids saw a dead body? And you just go on like that didn't happen? Why didn't I or Tai get a call from you? Were you not freaked out at all?" Qrow asked and he was scared of the answer.

"Dad of course I was freaked out, it was a dead body! However, it wasn't like the guy was worth crying tears over, he was scumbag! Plus, Sindel asked us before we saw if we wanted to see it, so it's not like we were surprised or anything. And I'm training to be a huntress so I'm going to see these things anyway, it was sooner than expected I'll give you that but I'm fine. Plus, we had to focus on the mission so it's not like I've thought about it much." Ruby said honestly and Qrow sighed, that wasn't the answer he wanted.

"Well, I'm glad to know that you're not emotionless or anything like that, still Ruby that wasn't the answer I was expecting or wanted. Petal, considering our talk back at that café I know you are sick of hearing this, but you are only sixteen. And sixteen-year-old girls do not see dead bodies and just keep moving like it's normal." Qrow chastised and Ruby rolled her eyes.

"This one does, and do I look like a normal sixteen-year-old girl old man?" Ruby mocked as she waved off some people who were looking at her weirdly.

"Fine you got me there- wait, who are you calling old?!" Qrow asked angrily and his daughter laughed at him.

"Bleh!" Ruby mocked and Qrow couldn't see her, but he was sure she was sticking her tongue out at him.

"God you're just like your mother, a brat even in serious times. Well, I guess that I was worried about nothing seeing as though you're still yourself, God I'm turning into to Tai. Petal, I'm proud of you for taking down that terrorist group but just take care of yourself, ok? I don't need you getting in over your head or working yourself to death in the unit. Keep on learning and doing your best, that's all you need to do." Qrow said warmly and Ruby smiled.

"Thanks Dad, I will don't worry." Ruby said happily.

"Kiddo I got one more question, James said that you and another detective found this Cinder woman in the tower after you found the guards unconscious. Is there any reason why you were with this detective in the first place, and would he happen to be dressed in all black?" Qrow asked in an accusing tone and Ruby rubbed her temples.

Of course, this was going to be brought up, if Yang's temper tantrum last night was anything to go by. Ruby then remembered that when Qrow showed up at her unit's office Seth threw her a look of concern that she waved off. No doubt Qrow saw that look of concern and put it in his pocket for later use, and this was the perfect time. She just hoped that her dad wouldn't freak out and throw a tantrum like her cousin did last night…

"Yeah, his name is Seth and he is my boyfriend, we hit it off pretty quickly. He was in town and he surprised me last night and then we went out. When we got back to Beacon was when we found the guards and ultimately Cinder. It was one hell of a coincidence, but I'm just glad we found her in time. Let me guess, I'm too young to have a boyfriend, I'm irresponsible and the sky is going to fall right?" Ruby asked as she rolled her eyes but was surprised to hear her dad laugh.

"Well, I am pretty sure that's what Tai would do and judging by your tone I guess that's what Yang said when she found out right? As your Dad I can't say I'm happy with a boy being around you, but I can't be a hypocrite. When I was your age, I was flirting with girls left and right, I only saw that kid once but he doesn't seem like the type to do that. You're a pretty girl so boys are going to like you, and if you have to have a boyfriend I would rather it be someone that was deemed worthy to join that unit." Qrow said and Ruby smiled.

"Thanks Daddy." Ruby said happily and Qrow smiled.

"No problem Petal, try not to let Firecracker's antics get to you ok? This is all new for her and you guys aren't exactly on the best terms, but it's only because she cares about you. Talk to you later kiddo, I love you." Qrow said and Ruby sighed.

"I'll try, love you too." Ruby said as she walked through the door of her room and hung up.

The sight that Ruby was treated to when she walked through the door was one that she was growing accustomed to seeing. As soon as she opened the door, she saw her teammates glaring at her and grow accusatory looks on their faces. Ruby rolled her eyes, what was the probability of her teammates actually reading the note she left? Considering the accusatory faces her teammates had and the fact that their bags weren't ready Ruby felt the answer was probably not.

Going back to the emotions her teammates were showing Ruby felt a bit of annoyance. Granted, Weiss was probably still upset about Ruby telling her the truth about Neptune. Ruby felt a little bad for her but not that much, in her mind it was better to let Weiss know the truth about her crush rather than keep chasing this lie of him. When it came to Yang though Ruby had a good idea what she was mad about, as for Blake? She always had that sour look on her face, so Ruby had no idea but decided to get on with it.

"This never has a good answer, but what are you all looking at?" Ruby said annoyed and the WBY's glares deepened.

"You know, all three of us are getting sick of your attitude and the fact that you leave without giving any notice! What kind of leader does that?" Weiss asked angrily and her other two teammates looked just as angry.

"God Princess, you are so right! I mean it's not like there's a note on my desk that clearly states that I had to go see Professor Ozpin about something and that you all should get ready for our mission. What kind of leader am I? I get up and get dressed quietly and write a note to you all instead of waking you up early. Yes, I am such a bad leader, I gave you more time to sleep." Ruby said sarcastically and the WBY looked embarrassed.

They were really getting tired of Ruby having the last laugh and they look like idiots. When they all woke up this morning to get ready for their mission, they were furious to see Ruby out of her bed and out of the room. They complained to each other on how they hated being kept in the dark and Ruby being on a secret mission and having a boyfriend were enough bombshells. They were so caught up in anger that no one noticed the note on Ruby's desk. Yang wasn't going to let Ruby off the hook that easy though…

"Ok fine, we didn't see your note whatever. I guess what you talked about with Ozpin was about the unit, so you can't or won't tell us about it. Still, we heard you on the phone before you walked through the door, you really say I love you to a guy you just started dating?" Yang mocked with a smirk, but Ruby just snorted.

"First of all, I was on the phone with Qrow, not my boyfriend. Secondly, clearly you are one of the girls who says I love you too fast, it would explain why all the guys you flirt with leave you on read." Ruby said amused as Yang started fume in anger while Blake and Weiss' mouths dropped open.

"WHY YOU LITTLE!-" Yang snarled but was waved off by Ruby.

"Anyway, are we all ready for our mission today?" Ruby asked and Yang growled at her.

"Yeah, about that, we need to discuss something Ruby." Blake said seriously and Ruby got herself mentally prepared for the argument that was likely to happen.

"OK, what do need to discuss?" Ruby asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Us, the team and our teamwork. Ruby, after everything that's happened in the past couple of weeks you really think we're just going to go out there and complete a mission? After going to that unit, being on a secret mission and not telling us anything, not to mention what you said to us when you got back, you think that we can work together? In what world do you think that we will listen to a word you say or have your back?" Blake asked incredulously and Weiss spoke up next.

"She's right Ruby, you expect us to act as a normal team after this? You must be out of your mind." Weiss said with her eyes narrowed.

None of the WBY expected the mission to go well at all, especially with how things were with Ruby. None of them wanted to be around her after what had been happening, and they didn't really trust Ruby considering all the secrets that she had. Yang was still angry at Ruby for having this secret boyfriend and finding out by some random guy. She wasn't going to get over it quickly and the other two were not either. Ruby then began speaking.

"No, I expect you three to act professional because we are all huntresses in training. Just like how I acted for months when you guys were neglecting me, ignoring me, and talking trash about me. I sucked down my anger and put on a brave face for the good of the team. You three can do the same for a couple days, don't worry I believe in you." Ruby said with a roll of her eyes as she texted Cana back about something.

"God, do you have to bring that up EVERY time if we have an argument?!" Weiss asked annoyed and Blake and Yang looked just as angry.

"You bring up my age every time things don't go your way so yup." Ruby said with a roll of her eyes as she checked her nails.

Weiss, Blake and Yang were still sorry for what they said about Ruby, and they felt bad but they were also starting to get annoyed with their team leader. They knew that what they did was wrong, but they never expected Ruby to act like this and become so distant. They also felt that what Ruby said about them that night was way worse than what they said about her. Sure, Ruby said it to their faces instead of behind their backs like they did with her, but it hurt worse.

Now Ruby was expecting all the feelings of anger and other emotions to just go away because they were on a mission? The WBY didn't think so, none of them really wanted to be around Ruby for that long or follow her orders. Weiss was still angry with Ruby from what she said about Neptune and how she wanted those girls' numbers. Admittedly, she felt she should be grateful to Ruby for telling her, but it hurt that one of the girls was Mira. Blake and Yang were still angry about Ruby's secret life, Yang more so for obvious reasons.

"Look it's obvious that you girls don't like me and I'll be honest I have problems with you three, but it doesn't matter. We are at Beacon to be huntresses and when we are on missions, we have to act like it, so problems or not I will do everything in my power to make sure no harm comes to any of you. You three can be mad at me all you want, but if that shows during the mission your reputations will falter. Despite circumstances I am a professional, and I know that we can work together professionally so what do you say?" Ruby asked calmly and the WBY were deep in thought.

They didn't want to admit it, but Ruby made some good points. She was a detective in a unit and had proven to be professional, they needed to do the same thing. The last thing that they needed was for a professional huntsman to see how uncoordinated they would be if they disobeyed Ruby's orders. Weiss' pride would not allow it as she would not allow her reputation to falter because she was angry with Ruby. Yang felt the same way, but more so because she couldn't afford that due to her grades not being the best. Blake felt that she didn't need her reputation shot more since the faculty knew about her White Fang history.

The WBY felt that at the end of the day there was nothing else they could do besides act professional on the mission. They were still incredibly angry at Ruby, but they could dial it back for a couple days couldn't they? Ruby had done so for months when they had been neglecting and ignoring her, much to their shame and irritation. What kind of message would it send if they couldn't hold off their anger for a couple of days? Knowing that they all sighed and Weiss decided to speak.

"Fine, we will act professionally when we are on the mission, but not because you told us to. We will do for the reputation of Team RWBY!" Weiss said as she stuck her tongue out at Ruby and the other two did the same.

"Sure whatever floats your boat Princess, anyway are we all ready?" Ruby asked and Yang spoke.

"Yeah but hold on, Dad sent us something earlier." Yang said as she grabbed a parcel from her desk and opened it, no one could believe what came out.

"Bark!" An adorable Corgi said and there were mixed reactions of fear and happiness from Team RWBY.

"Zwei!" Yang yelled happily as the dog jumped in her arms.

"Wait your dad sent a dog?! In the mail?!" Blake asked confused and freaked out at the same time.

"Oh, he does stuff like this all the time!" Yang said happily as Zwei jumped from her arms into Ruby's.

"Hehe, hey there old timer." Ruby said happily as Zwei was licking her face.

'How can Zwei recognize Ruby so easily even with her makeover?' Yang thought confused but let it go.

There was a note from Taiyang and Yang read it aloud, apparently he was going to be gone on a mission and he needed the girls to take care of him. There was food that Tai somehow jammed into the small parcel that Zwei came in. The girls were about to question it, but they soon let it go as it didn't really matter in the end. Unknown to Weiss and Blake, Zwei was a very efficient dog so he wouldn't need Ruby or Yang to feed him, he could do it himself.

"Are you telling me that this mangey, drooly mutt is going to live with us forever?! Oh yes he is, who's adorable?!" Weiss asked as she took Zwei and cradled him.

"I'm dreaming, nobody pinch me." Ruby said as she was stunned from what she was seeing.

"Please keep it away from belongings." Blake deadpanned and Yang laughed.

"Don't worry Kitty, Zwei won't touch anything of yours." Yang assured as Glynda Goodwitch's voice came over the intercom.

"Would all first-year students please report to the ampitheater." Glynda commanded and that was their que.

"You heard her, come on Zwei will be here when we get back." Yang told everyone.

Weiss, Blake and Yang all left the room first and huffed at Ruby as they walked out which caused her to roll her eyes. Ruby was glad to see Zwei again it had been too long, but now she had to leave him for a week. All alone in their dorm room where there was his food yes but not much else to do. Maybe he could chew on one of Blake's books…or her new boots that she just bought! Yeah, that wasn't happening so Ruby put Zwei in her bag and walked off.

As Team RWBY had entered the theater all eyes were on them, Ruby especially and who could blame them? This young girl had moved ahead two years early and now she was part of some crime unit in Atlas? Just how skilled could she possibly be? Some looked at her with jealousy, as they felt it should be them in the spotlight and not Ruby. Others looked at her with some fear, they wondered what happened if she got angry. Some of these people made their opinions known.

"I can't believe that girl is a part of a unit, what makes her so special?" A random person asked annoyed.

"Tch, you see how she walks? So tough." Another one sneered sarcastically.

Ruby heard what they said but she paid them no mind, they didn't bother her. They would have before, but she was a different person now and knew that she couldn't please everyone. Her self-esteem grew as well so the jealous glares she was getting from people didn't falter her either. After putting her bag down, she walked back to her team who was standing close to Team JNPR. Nora and Pyrrha sent glares Ruby's way, but she just rolled her eyes at them. Glynda went up to the mic and quieted everyone down, then she said Professor Ozpin wanted to say a few words.

"I know the events of last night are still in your minds, and I appreciate all of you following General Ironwood's request of not posting anything on social media. A group of criminals had been taking refuge here at Beacon Academy, as Headmaster I feel ashamed and take full responsibility for this blunder. It's my responsibility to know what goes on in this school and I failed at that, I am truly sorry to all of you." Ozpin said as he bowed his head.

Ruby felt sad for Ozpin, yes he was the headmaster but she didn't view this as his fault. That group from Haven had everyone confused not just him, hell Ruby never would have even considered them if she hadn't seen that video. Plus, Beacon was a big school and it had a ton of students, there was no possible way for him to keep up with them all. Not to mention that Haven transfers were not his responsibility, so she didn't think he should be beating himself up.

"That being said, thanks to General Ironwood and two detectives from the newly formed Atlas Intelligence Unit, one of them being our own, these criminals are now behind bars. I know it was definitely scary seeing those Atlesian soldiers burst through the doors at the dance last night, but it was necessary. As hunters you will have to act very quickly in some situations to have the best result and last night that was shown.

Today we stand together united, Atlas, Mistral, Vacuo and Vale. The four kingdoms of Remnant, on this day nearly eighty years ago the largest war in recorded history came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, of greed, and of oppression, all of which was shown by those criminals last night. We fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self-expression. And as you are all aware, that was something many could not stand for.

As a result, those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after the core aspect of art itself, color. It was their way to demonstrate that not only would they not tolerate this oppression but neither would the generations to come. And it's a trend held on to this very day, we encourage indivuality, expressionism and unity through diversity. As I said, today we stand together united, but this bond cannot exist without effort." Ozpin said warmly and everyone in the room smiled.

He went on to discuss the missions and what the first years would be doing. They would be shadowing huntsman; some would go outside of the kingdoms and some would stay within. Ruby didn't mind either one, though it would be nice to be in the kingdom just in case Sindel needed her for something. Ozpin told them all to be safe and dismissed them, Team RWBY went to the mission board. Blake immediately found one that she wanted them to do.

"Search and destroy for Quadrant 5? Why this one?" Ruby asked with her eyes narrowed and Blake narrowed hers as well.

"Because it's in the southeast, where we know Torchwick and the White Fang are probably running operations. Look Ruby, you may be on your secret mission or whatever, but that doesn't mean we should stop ours. Finding out more about Torchwick and the White Fang will be good for all of us." Blake explained and the other two nodded their heads while Ruby sighed.

"Look between us I don't think continuing on our wild goose chase is good for any of us and we can't do it by ourselves. I can't tell you the details, but my boss and Ironwood are making a plan, it will be fine." Ruby assured them but none of the WBY seemed convinced.

"Then we will just clean out the grimm, what's the harm in that?" Yang asked with a glare as she put in her team's name for the mission only to have it come up as unavailable for first years.

"Well, better choose a different one." Ruby said while shrugging as Blake glared at her.

"Oh, our team leader is giving up so easily? Isn't that inspiring?" Blake said sarcastically as Ruby glared back at her.

"Well Kitty, unless we can mail ourselves there, I don't know what else to tell you!" Ruby said annoyed but their headmaster's voice interrupted them.

"Well, that is definitely one viable option, unfortunately we determined that the concentration of grimm was too extreme for first year students. It seems that particular region is rather popular, in fact I have the sneaking suspicion that the four of you are going to make your way there no matter what mission you choose…" Ozpin said accusingly as the WBY glared at Ruby who was checking her nails unfazed.

"Whatever makes you say that Professor?" Ruby asked in an innocent voice.

"While I do wish to know more about your unit's agenda Miss Rose, I have to admit I am still curious as to how you all found yourselves at the docks last semester. I'm interested to know how you all found out about a hideout in the southeast, and I would certainly like to know why witnesses reported seeing robots and rose petals in a dance club some time ago." Ozpin said as the WBY were nervous, but Ruby didn't flinch.

"I think some questions don't need answers Professor if you know what I mean?" Ruby said with a smirk and the WBY's mouths dropped open, but Ozpin looked amused.

"I suppose you're right and I will never get the answers I am looking for. I do believe that this mission is a bit dangerous for first years but considering detective Rose is among you I am willing to make an exception. I think recent events have shown that she can handle difficult tasks and her teammates will surely rise to the challenge, won't they?" Ozpin asked the WBY, and they nodded.

Weiss, Blake and Yang were going to use this opportunity to show Ozpin and Ruby that they could keep up with their leader. Even though they were furious with Ruby, they still wanted to keep their status as a top team among the first years. Who knows, maybe this mission might help Team RWBY patch things up with one another and help them blow off some steam. It was too good an opportunity to pass up and the WBY were going to take it.

"That is what I like to hear, so instead of breaking the rules why don't we just bend them? That is alright with you isn't Ruby?" Ozpin asked the team leader and the WBY looked at her expectantly.

"Of course, I have the confidence that Team RWBY can complete any mission." Ruby said simply and the headmaster smiled at her.

'Not to mention they would annoy the hell out of me if I didn't agree." Ruby thought in her mind.

Little did Ruby know that this was Ozpin's way of making it up to her for what he said to her earlier that morning. He should never have tried to grill her or try to get any other information out of her, it's not like James was lying to him or anything like that. He was honored that Ruby put her life on the line to stop a criminal from doing something terrible, yet he rewarded her with anger. Ozpin would correct that mistake and try to get on Ruby's good side again.

Team RWBY thanked Professor Ozpin and went on their way to the airship field where they would meet the huntsman that they would be shadowing. Ruby hoped to God that it wasn't Professor Port because that man bored her enough in class with his ridiculous stories. Meanwhile, the WBY were still shocked at what Ruby said to Professor Ozpin. She thought that they could handle any mission that was thrown at them? Was she being for real or was she just sucking up to Ozpin?

You could never really tell with her these days, considering how sarcastic this new Ruby could be. Once again, they cursed themselves for that night at Team JNPR, because the old Ruby was so much better than this one. Yes, she could be annoying but at least she was nice and helpful, now she was just sarcastic, rude and distant. But if that's how she wanted to be then fine, they wanted to make up with her, but they weren't going to grovel again.

When they were walking toward the airship field Ruby's scrolled buzzed and she smiled when she saw it was a message from Seth. He told her that he made it back to Haven and was getting praised by his team for what they did last night. Ruby told him that it must be nice and that he could imagine what her team thought of the situation. Seth sent an emoji that showed eyes rolling and Ruby laughed at the message, then hid her scroll from her teammates eyes as they were trying to look.

Seth asked his girlfriend how bad the reception from her team was last night and she told him that they were furious she kept this from them. Seth asked if his team was fine being in the dark then why couldn't Ruby's team do the same. Ruby responded by saying that was the million-dollar question and it probably wasn't going to be answered. She then told Seth that the main reason they were made was because they found out she and Seth were dating.

Seth then asked Ruby why were they so interested and angry about her business suddenly? To which Ruby responded by saying that they didn't like things being hidden from them. Ruby then told Seth that Yang was furious when she found out about him and told him that she wanted to beat him up. Seth scoffed and said that she couldn't even hit him if she tried, to which Ruby responded by saying how it would be similar to how he couldn't hit the ball in the pocket at pool last night.

Seth sent a blank stare emoji and asked Ruby if she had jokes, to which she responded with a laugh telling him that she had all of them. Seth told his girlfriend to expect a rematch when he came back for the Vytal Festival and Ruby told him that the results would be the same. He told her that wouldn't happen, and Ruby said that they will see. She told him that she had to go on her mission now and that she would try to text him later tonight and they both said bye.

While the texting was going on the WBY were glaring at their team leader because judging by her face you could tell who she was talking to. They still couldn't believe that Ruby was dating someone, and they found out by seeing him arrest those terrorists from Haven. They knew that Ruby was on a secret mission, but they were sure that her having a boyfriend was not a part of that. Sure, they were a bit jealous that their young team leader had a boyfriend before they did, but they were more worried about her safety.

They didn't know anything about this guy, and how much could Ruby possibly know about him in the course of two weeks? Having said that though, all three of them could tell the skill that the boy had just by looking at him. He had the same threatening demeanor that Ruby had, and they could tell that he was a no nonsense kind of guy. Yang still wanted to beat him up for being around his sister but knew that she probably wouldn't land many blows on him. It didn't quench her anger though; it just made her angrier.

Ruby was feeling good about this mission though, it would be good to just kill some grimm and let off some steam. The mission that she was on was important, but the two weeks she was there she didn't see a lot of action besides that mine mission. Plus, she was excited to show off her skills and the new moves that she learned from her friends. She felt that they would complete this mission, and nothing would go wrong. That is until they saw the huntsman that they would be shadowing…

"Why hello there girls! Who's ready to fight for their lives?!" Doctor Oobleck asked excited as team RWBY looked to be in despair.

'Yep, God hates me it's confirmed.' Ruby thought in sorrow as she didn't know how she was going to survive this week…
