TW: Glad you enjoyed it. Glad to hear it.

Ellie Bishop: Yeah, it's gonna be fun. I will neither confirm nor deny anything on that front. Bucky at this point in time is still essentially a ticking bomb, so I don't think it's unreasonable for Rhodey to be on guard with him at first. I also think you're doing Rhodey a disservice. Rhodey has proven himself to be very reasonable, which is why his actions in Civil War are so OOC. Glad you liked Coulson's scene with Tony.

Guest 1: Thank you. You're welcome.

Guest 2: Yep. Yes, I am. Thank you very much, we are managing. Tell me about it.

Sakaar

Afternoon

As the Grandmaster scrambled to control the impending revolution, The Avengers made their move.

A guard was breaking off from his squad when he was suddenly yanked to the side, surrounded by red energy. Before the guard could say anything, he was pinned to the wall, Wanda and Thor approaching him.

Not long after, Thor and Wanda were standing outside an elevator, Thor putting in the security codes they had gotten from the guard. The doors opened and they walked into the room, seeing several guards standing around a statue.

"Hello," Thor greeted.

The guards turned to the pair of Avengers and that's when they struck. Wanda made a throwing motion, waves of red energy bursting from her hands and striking several guard. Thor threw Mjolnir, striking a guard. It then rebounded, striking several other guards before returning to Thor's hand. None of them even had a chance to fire their guns.

"Nicely done little witch," Thor complimented as they made their way into another doorway.

"Thank me when we get out of here," Wanda said as she pressed a panel. "Because we both know what's coming next."

Thor nodded as another doorway opened. He didn't even pause before striking the guard with Mjolnir hard enough to knock them out. They went down to the ground before Thor and Wanda entered the elevator. Wanda was right; this was only the first step in getting out of Sakaar. Thor merely hoped that Wanda's powers would make it easier than in the recordings.

"Just tell me I don't have to do 'Get Help'," Wanda said as the elevator began moving and Thor chuckled.

"No little witch, I think your powers shall do just fine," Thor assured her.

All too soon, the doors to the elevator opened and they stepped out. The guard moved towards them but before could even move, Wanda had used her powers to yank the weapons from their hands and sent them flying back. They struck a ship before falling to the floor, unconscious.

"And now that they're taken care of, it's time for us to begin our escape," Thor said as they made their way towards the Commodore.

After getting aboard the Commodore, Thor took off with Wanda clinging onto the back of his seat, reminding herself mentally to take a shower once they got to Asgard. Once they flew out of the hanger, a giant hologram of the Grandmaster appeared in the sky.

"Attention loyal Sakaarians! Someone has stolen my ship! Take to the skies! Do not let them leave this planet!"

Thor saw a Sakaarian ship approaching before, just like in the recording, Valkyrie's ship flew behind it and fired, destroying the other ship.

"Open the doors," Valkyrie told Thor over the Comms.

Thro flipped a switch and a hatch in the back opened up. Valkyrie flew her ship under the Commodore, lowering the sphere around her and Bruce. Valkyrie flipped a switch and Bruce was ejected from the ship, flying up into the air.

Bruce flew through the hatch in Thor's ship before Wanda used her powers to gracefully lower him to the floor, helping him remain steady.

"Thanks," Bruce said gratefully.

Wanda was cut off from responding when Thor swerved the ship to avoid gunfire. The Grandmaster's loyalists were coming after them in their ship. Seeing Valkyrie's ship was about to be hit, Wanda raised her hands and an energy shield erected itself around Valkyrie's ship. Wanda then jumped out, using her powers to fly herself on top of the ship. She waved her hands and one of their assailants' ships spun out of control, crashing into another. The two ships exploded from the impact of collision.

The ship piloted by Topaz flew passed the explosion and opened fire on Valkyrie's ship, Wanda's energy shield long gone. Wanda was forced to use her powers to make an energy shield to protect herself from fire from another ship while Valkyrie's was hit. Another hit from Topaz and the ship exploded.

"NO!" Bruce exclaimed in horror.

But Thor was not worried, remembering the recordings. And sure enough, Valkyrie landed on the side of the ship, behind Wanda's energy shield clutching her sword.

"Cover me!" she shouted to Wanda.

Wanda nodded before Valkyrie got to her feet and ran, jumping over Wanda's energy shield. Valkyrie landed on top of the ship shooting at them and uses her sword to cut into the engine. She made a clean cut before jumping back. The ship exploded and Wanda used her powers to draw Valkyrie back into the energy shield.

Topaz then turned back towards them, opening fire. Wanda used her energy shield to block some of the blasts before using her powers to send one back at Topaz. Topaz didn't have time to react and the blast hit. While the ship still remains intact, Topaz was knocked off course and crashed into a pile of debris. Her ship went to pieces and the remains fell to the ground below.

"I like you," Valkyrie said and Wanda smiled.

The pair then jumped inside the ship and the doors closed behind then.

"You're just in time, we're coming up on the Devil's Anus," Bruce told then as they saw the ship approaching it.

"Hold on!" Thor shouted before flying the ship inside the wormhole.

Avengers Compound

Same time

"So I'd be going back under the ice?" Bucky inquired as Steve and Helen explained the treatment plan in Steve's office.

"Temporarily," Steve quickly assured him.

"Sergeant Barnes-" Helen started.

"Bucky. My name is Bucky," Bucky said stonily and Helen nodded.

"Bucky, what Hydra did to you has not been undone. Anyone who knows the phrases that were used to control you can do so at any time. If you truly wish to be free, I need to see how your brainwaves compare to the other patient's. From there, we can begin to figure out how to help you," Helen said and Bucky had a thoughtful look on his face as he considered.

"What do you think?" Bucky asked as he looked over at Steve.

"I think it's your choice, I won't make it for you," Steve said gently.

"But you think it's my best chance at taking out the Winter Soldier once and for all," Bucky noted and Steve nodded. "…where do we start?"

Asgard

Later in the afternoon

The Commodore emerged from the wormhole, its four occupants out cold. Slowly, Thor, Valkyrie, Wanda and Bruce woke up, blinking their eyes slowly. Seeing Asgard, Thor drove the ship into the atmosphere. Wanda and Bruce looked around in a bit of awe as they saw Asgard for the first time. Even the brief glimpses Wanda had seen in the recordings hadn't done it justice.

"I never thought I'd be back here again," Valkyrie muttered.

As Thor piloted them towards the palace, they passed a few Asgardians who stopped and looked at the ship curiously. As they ship approached the palace, Thor saw Heimdall was waiting at the base along with Sif, the Warrior Three and Skurge. Thor landed the ship a few feet away and opened the doors.

"Welcome home old friend. I saw you coming," Heimdall said as the four of them stepped off the ship.

"I know you did," Thor said, not even surprised. "Thank you for watching over Asgard in my absence."

"Thor, where's the king? And who are these people?" Hogan asked as he eyed the unknown trio Thor had returned with.

"And where is your brother?" Sif asked, suspicious of Loki's absence.

"Well, first thing's first. These two are friends of mine from Earth, Avengers," Thor said as he gestured to Bruce and Wanda before turning to Valkyrie. "And this is a Valkyrie."

"I thought the Valkyrie were all extinct," Sif said as they all stared at Valkyrie stunned.

"They are, I'm the last one. And don't get any ideas, I'm just here to help out," Valkyrie said stiffly.

"Either way, we welcome you to Asgard," Heimdall said diplomatically.

"And Loki?" Hogan asked uneasily.

"On Earth, being guarded by the other Avengers. I shall return there to bring him home soon. As for my father…he has chosen to remain on earth," Thor said, to the shock of his fellow Asgardians. "Breaking free of Loki's spell drained him of most of his power. He has abdicated the throne."

"Then we shall make an announcement to the people," Fandral said immediately but Thor waved a hand dismissively.

"Later perhaps. For now, there are other matters that need to be discussed," Thor said, looking over at Bruce.

Earth, San Francisco

Same time

Scott stood outside the Pym Mansion, nervously shifting from foot to foot. He had been standing there for at least five minutes, trying to work up the courage to go in. He knew he needed to tell Hope and Hank about everything, about Janet at least. He just wasn't sure where to start or how not to sound crazy.

After another minute, Scott sighed before walking up to the front door. He rang the doorbell and waited. Putting it off wouldn't make this go any easier. He'd just have to rip the band aid off and let the chips fall where they may.

After a few moments, the door opened and Hope walked out, surprised to see him.

"Hey. I thought you were spending the day with Cassie," Hope said in confusion.

"I had Luis watch her for a few hours. I need to tell you something, you and Hank and it can't wait," Scott said nervously.

"Scott, what's wrong? You're acting like you're about to turn my whole world upside down," Hope said as a half joke, surprised by how nervous her boyfriend seemed to be.

Because he was. But Scott knew better than to say that right now. All he could right now was pray that Hope and Hank believed him and would take what he had to say well. Because Scott was already preparing for Hank to lose it once he was finished.

Not a very long chapter I know, but this felt like a good stopping point.

Hope you guys enjoyed it anyway.
