One day in Royal Woods, Michigan, two Loud mates were having a video chat with each other. Sam Sharp, girlfriend of Luna Loud, and Benny Stein, boyfriend of Luan Loud, were in the middle of planning a surprise double date with their respective girlfriends. They wanted to make sure take them somewhere that they would all enjoy.

"So, did you come up with an idea for where we could all go together?" asked Sam.

"Yeah, I did," Benny answered happily. "The Stinger Brothers' Circus is in town this week. Luan's been dying to see it. I was thinking we could all get tickets. It would be so much fun!"

"Ohhh, uh... I don't know," Sam said, very apprehensious at the idea. "I'm not sure the circus is really Luna's thing. Plus, if I'm being honest, clowns kinda creep me out. No offense."

Regardless, Benny couldn't help but be a little bit offended. "Um... okay, well, what did you have in mind?"

"Actually, I was thinking we could get them tickets to see SMOOCH in concert this weekend," Sam suggested. "I think I've even got enough cash to score us some backstage passes."

Now Benny was the one who wasn't thrilled about Sam's suggestion. "Hmmm, I don't know. I don't think Luan would be too into that. And all those people screaming, shoving into each other, touching things that they shouldn't? It sounds really gross."

"Why would it be any grosser than the circus?" Sam asked. Suddenly, they were each feeling insulted by the other rebuffing their ideas.

After taking a brief moment to calm down and gather their thoughts, they both realized that getting upset with each other was just going to spoil things. Sam sighed and broke the silence again.

"I'm sorry, Benny," she said.

"I'm sorry, too, Sam," Benny replied.

"There's gotta be someplace we can take them that we'll all enjoy."

While the two teens were wracking their brains for an idea, a new message appeared in Benny's e-mail. When he opened it, it was like an answer sent from the heavens themselves.

"Sam! I know just the thing!" he declared excitedly.

It was a beautiful fun-filled day at the Royal Woods carnival as the two young couples had the time of their lives together. They played some delightful games, went on exciting rides, ate tons of greasy and sugary foods, and enjoyed some live musical performances. It was the perfect outing for all of them to enjoy. The four teens were currently riding the ferris wheel together with Luna holding a cotton candy cone, Benny holding a candied apple, and Luan holding a stuffed seal plushie that her boyfriend had one for her at the water shooting game.

"Dudes, I just gotta say, this has been the most awesome date of my whole life," said Luna.

"Yeah. It sure was a great idea to bring carniv-ALL of us here. HAHAHAHA! Get it?" Luan joked, earning a chuckle from her boyfriend.

"Thanks. We're really glad you two are having fun," said Benny.

"Totally," Sam agreed.

"You guys are the best," said Luan.

"Amen to that," said Luna.

Both Loud girls then expressed their gratitude by planting kisses on the faces of their respective partners. This made Sam and Benny smile and high-five each other for a mission well accomplished.
