Chapter One: Making New Friends
"Come on, come on! I'm so excited you decided to come with me to the lab." Honey Lemon says excitedly as Alexis is walking with her through a building.
"I'm coming Honey. But to be fair I agreed because I didn't wanna be left at the house by myself.. again." Alexis says as she glares at Honey Lemon.
"Can I help it if I'm working on new science?" Honey Lemon asks as Alexis playfully rolls her eyes.
"You could at least come home at an earlier time for us to have dinner together at a reasonable hour." Alexis says as Honey Lemon chuckles.
"Yeah. I see your point. Anyway we're here!" Honey Lemon says as the group arrives in an empty lab.
"It looks empty." Alexis says.
"Wasabi! Go Go! Fred?" Honey Lemon shouts.
"Oh hey Honey Lemon." A voice says revealing to be a boy with black hair.
"Tadashi! I thought you weren't gonna be here tonight." Honey Lemon says as Tadashi chuckles.
"Well I decided to come in and work on Baymax." Tadashi says.
"What's a Baymax?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Well who's this?" Tadashi asks curiously.
"Tadashi I want you to meet my sister Alexis. Alexis this is Tadashi." Honey Lemon says excitedly.
"Nice to meet you Tadashi. My sister talks pretty highly of you and the others." Alexis says kindly.
"She talks highly about everyone she likes." Tadashi says as he smiles.
"Well yeah. You're my friends and I'm pretty happy to have a group of like minded individuals." Honey Lemon says as she smiles.
"I can tell. So you were asking about Baymax would you want to see?" Tadashi asks as he looks at Alexis.
"Um..." Alexis says nervously.
"It's okay Alexis. Go on." Honey Lemon says encouraging.
"Sure. That sounds good." Alexis says.
"Alright. Follow me." Tadashi says as he gestures for Alexis to follow him.
"Take food care of my sister Tadashi. Alexis I'll be in here if you need me." Honey Lemon says as Alexis leaves the room with Tadashi.
"Where are you taking me?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Just keep following me. What I've been doing with Baymax is pretty top secret so I tend to work in a different area." Tadashi says as he smiles.
"Whoa." Alexis says a she and Tadashi enter a messy room.
"Yeah. It's a bit of a mess. I haven't had the chance to clean up my last test run. Anyway close your eyes for a second." Tadashi says.
"Um should I be concerned with you asking me to close my eyes?" Alexis asks as she chuckles slightly.
"Not at all." Tadashi says as Alexis playfully rolls her eyes.
"Alright." Alexis says as she closes her eyes.
"Open them." Tadashi says as Alexis sees a huge white humanoid looking creation.
"Wow. It's so big. And he's see through. But what makes him so special?" Alexis asks curiously as she inspects the creation.
"Well my goal is for Baymax to help everyone. He's a walking, talking personal health care companion." Tadashi says.
"That's really sweet and amazing." Alexis says as she smiles softly.
"Thanks. He's not ready quite yet though." Tadashi says as he chuckles.
"Would you like some help? Perhaps having two sets of hands would help." Alexis says kindly as Tadashi looks at her in surprise.
"Really. But Honey Lemon said you weren't into all that science stuff." Tadashi says curiously.
"I'm not but I like what you're trying to do and I'd like to help. If you want me to of course." Alexis says shyly.
"That sounds nice. Thanks." Tadashi says.
"You're welcome." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Come on. I've got some more work to do before I finish up if you're interested." Tadashi says as he smiles.
"Sounds good to me." Alexis says as she nods.
