Meet the Edgertons

Warning: Nothing but a fuck ton of fluff.

A/N: Since I posted these two chapter back to back, all the notes I have is in the previous chapter. And yes, Ian does enjoy messing with Don too much.

""Hey Don, didn't Ian say he was about to come over sometime in the afternoon?" Megan asked as she put away the last of her files.

"Yeah, why?"

She gave him a critical eye, "Are you sure you want him to see you like that?"

Don looked down to check what she was talking about and promptly ran to the changing room. FUCK! He completely forgot about the bloody clothing. He didn't want anyone else to know about what happened. He already took a lot of shit from his team, he did not need Ian or Coop to come in and drag him home to get some rest.

Thankfully, he had lots of practice getting ready in a hurry. Mostly because the amount of times someone has decided to come to his door unannounced while he was trying to keep an injury under wraps was surprisingly too many to count. Because of that, it wasn't long before he was in something more acceptable. He locked all of his stuff inside his locker, making sure to grab anything he would use so that he didn't need to open it up again.

He got out of the locker room casually, letting out a sigh of relief when he saw that Ian wasn't there yet. Just in time. He dumped all of his stuff on his desk and continued on with his work, taking notes on the information that he found to be important. Unfortunately for them, the search today came up empty so they'd have to try again tomorrow.

At least we'll get time to gather more evidence, he thought, sighing. He did have a few locations in mind about where to possibly find their suspect. "You think we'll find him?" Colby asked, looking at the area of Don's injury, cold fury in his eyes.

"LAPD's patrolling the area even more and we have an eye on every hospital, hotel, motel, and convenience store in LA" he replied, rubbing his injury. "He'll come up eventually, we'll just have to wait". Colby nodded at that and left his desk, either to bother Megan or David or to get more coffee.

Don went back to the files he was reading, the words feeling like they're blurring into a single mass. I really need some rest, he thought as his injury twinged. "Where the hell is he? I thought he'd be here by now," Don muttered, looking at his watch.

"I'm right here Eppes," a voice whispered in his ear from behind him, startling Don.

"Holy- Don't sneak up on me like that!" he admonished, clutching at his chest. Ian let out an amused chuckle, ruffling his hair like he would to a child.

"Start paying attention to your surroundings," he replied back, doing a horrible imitation of him in the classroom when he used to teach at Quantico. "C'mon Eppes, did you forget about your own lessons?"

"At this rate, I don't think you'll let me forget anything," he muttered underneath his breath. He picked up the pencil that he dropped earlier and gave Ian a sharp glare. "So, what do you want?"

Ian put a hand on his chest in mock pain, "Ouch! So cold! And after I came all this way to visit you?"

Don rolled his eyes, letting out a small huff of amusement. "Yes, now what do you want?"

"Well firstly, you could give me a kiss hello, I did drive for a few hours to come here after all". Don sighed as he looked around, making sure that no one was around. While his relationship wasn't a secret one (most of the people around him knew), he still felt odd committing PDA in front of everyone. Once he saw that the coast was clear for the moment, he got up to give Ian a quick peck on the cheek. "C'mon Eppes, you can do better than that," Ian complained.

"So demanding," he grumbled, giving the area another once over. While it was currently empty at the moment, the approaching footsteps he's hearing told him that it wouldn't be empty for long. Letting out another sigh of annoyance, he got nearer to try and give Ian a quick kiss before everyone came back.

Unfortunately for him, Ian loves to mess with him with PDA.

As soon as he leaned in, Ian grinned and abruptly grabbed him by his shirt collar and pulled him into a blazing kiss as he stepped nearer. In his shock, Don stumbled backwards and clumsily landed onto the edge of his desk. Ian took the opportunity and leaned further in, forcing Don lean back until he was dangling halfway off of his desk. Don's hands automatically flew to grab onto Ian for dear life as continued to kiss him, his grip on Don tight so that he didn't fall off.

As they kissed, he heard wolf whistles coming from one direction, mentally groaning at all the teasing that's about to happen. After a few more seconds, Ian finally pulled away, grinning roguishly at him. "Thanks for the kiss, pretty boy." Don crossed his arms and looked away, trying unsuccessfully to hide his blushing face.

"Damn Eppes, you got room in that relationship for one more?"

"C'mon Eppes, why don't you give me a smooch too?"

"Come with me Eppes and I'll make sure that blush never goes away."

With each joke, Don's face went even redder. Ian's smile was starting to get way too smug for Don's taste as he wrapped an arm around him, lightly ruffling his hair. "Alright guys" he grinned, but there was an undercurrent of a warning in his voice. "Jokes fun and all but I think that should give agent Eppes here some room". Understanding that it's time to wrap up for now, they all started to disperse, giving him their last few cat-calls and wolf whistles before they went off to do their own thing. Although judging by the teasing grins, the jokes are far from finished.

"I hate you, you know that?"

"Yeah-yeah," Ian replied, waving his hand, "I just gave them some cannon fodder since they keep complaining to me that they have nothing on you."

"And you didn't consider the fact that I like it that way?" he asked, sitting back down. He reached over to start tidying up all the papers that have now been scattered across the table and onto the floor from the impromptu makeout session.

"I did" he replied in his smug tone which caused Don's eye to twitch slightly. Ian knew he was being a bastard and that's what makes him so infuriating sometimes. No one knew how to push his buttons more than his two boyfriends (and Charlie).

He let out a huff of frustration as he ran a hand through his hair. "So, now that you've sufficiently embarrassed me, why are you here?"

Ian's expression suddenly changed from smug mischief to something that could be described as a "soft expression", well about as soft as it can be when it came to him. "My family is inviting you for dinner today."

Don blinked once…twice…

"WHAT?!"

A/N: Looks like Don's normal day isn't normal anymore, who could've foreseen that?
