Dear diary, hey it's Sasha. Today is August 31st, Dipper and Mabel's birthday so I should probably get to FaceTimeing them at some point. So, after we dealt with Quentin Trembley we had to take care of King George III. And let's just say, he was a lot worse than Quentin. He destroyed Mr Boonchuy's phone thinking there was someone's soul trapped in there, he also tried to go down the chimney trying to be like Santa Clause for Christmas, even though it was still July! He even got bit by a spider in an attempt to gain his powers. It wasn't until some MI5 agent came here and tried to capture him. Luckily, we sent him to Gravity Falls before the English FBI captured him. Grime got into a fencing match where he got too competitive and tried stabbing his opponent, Anne got into skateboarding and breaking her arm in the process while I've noticed that Grime seems to be a lot more quiet. And by quest I mean, kind of afraid. I don't know when to ask him because I'm afraid it could make him uncomfortable. Right now, we're just enjoying a nice beach day while Anne recovers.

At the beach, Gus was searching the beach by using a metal detector. The detector went crazy, causing him to get excited. "Oh yeah! I found treasure!" He dug through the sand and then pulled out an empty gum wrapper, causing him to smile with glee. "Hey Sasha! I found some treasure!" He yelled out to Sasha, whom was at the snack bar getting some things.

"That's an empty gum wrapper." Sasha said.

Gus' eyes shimmered. "And it's a beautiful treasure."

Sasha just shook her head at how clueless he was about the Human Realm. She then noticed Grime sitting on his lonesome by a table drinking a can like he were intoxicated.

A staff worker approached him with a can of soda in hand. "Another round, my good man and keep them coming. Because you won't believe how much I'm going to need." He looked forward and saw Death in the crowd with his pocket watch out. He could see that he was pointing at the number one, meaning he didn't have long to live.

"Sir, stop acting like you're intoxicated, you're not." The worker said.

"I'll tell you when I've had enough!" Grime yelled.

"Grime, you've had enough." Sasha said.

"Like I said to this young man, I'll you when I've had enough!" Grime yelled.

"Grime, I'm not made of money."

Grime then threw the can away. "Fair enough. It isn't as good as bog grog."

The staff member looked baffled by his preferred drink causing Sasha to laugh nervously. "He likes to go to bars in the grog a lot."

"I knew he was possibly born from the South." The staff member said before walking away.

Sasha sat down in front of Grime with an empathetic look. "Is everything okay, Grimesy?"

"Listen, Sasha, you might not believe this." Grime said.

"I have travelled to two worlds, became lieutenant of a toad army, gained Anime powers, met witches, fought two anarchists, fought robots, met a supposedly non existent president and on top of that I met a supposedly dead monarch. So, what's the problem?"

Grime was silent for a moment before he dropped the bombshell. "I'm going to die."

Sasha was in disbelief over what Grime had said. "What?"

"Sasha, I'm going to die." The toad captain replied.

There was an awkward silent that lasted a few minutes with Sasha trying to come to terms with what her mentor/father figure said to her. He was about to die.

"Grime, I don't understand." Sasha said. "Are you sick?"

"No." Grime said.

"So what do you mean you're going to die?!" Sasha exclaimed. "Are you going to…Kill yourself?"

Grime slammed his fist on the table. "Sasha, no! Death is after me. Literally, Death. He has it out for me because I wanted to die due to what I did the Isles. And he says I only have seven months left to live in order to prove that I want to live. But unfortunately, I guess I haven't been doing a good job because I keep seeing him. He's reminding me when I'm going to die. I'm terrified Sasha."

Sasha was in disbelief. "Grime, why didn't you tell me?!"

"I didn't want you to worry for me!" Grime exclaimed. "It was my battle not yours. Plus you'd try and stop Death even though you can't stop Death it's literally Death!"

"What do you want me to do Grime?!" Sasha exclaimed. "Why bring this up if there's nothing I can do?!"

"I needed to get it off my chest!" Grime replied.

"And what about Gus?!" Sasha exclaimed. "Does he know?! Does he know?!"

"He doesn't." Grime admitted. "He's got a lot going on. I don't want him to worry right now."

"Grime, you can't die!" Sasha argued. "We need you! Gus needs you! I need you!"

"You want to help me Sasha?" Grime asked.

"I will do anything to help you Grime!" Sasha said.

"When I do die, make sure Gus gets back to the Demon Realm." Grime explained. "Make sure he is safe and healthy and to reunite with his Dad."

Sasha was speechless. "Grime….Please."

"Promise me, Sasha, please." Grime pleaded. "Promise me."

Sasha looked skeptical but then exhaled. "Okay, Grime. I promise."

They looked over and saw Gus using the metal detector on Darryl's back. The obnoxious teen looked confused easily well as Gus.

"Dude, why is your back beeping?" Gus asked.

Darryl shuddered. "I have a metal spine. Sasha's weird surrogate father threw me out harder than I thought and shattered it."

"Oh, that explains why you were in the hospital for all of July." Gus said.

"Someone even threw me off my gurney and I fell down 12 flight of stairs before my guitar landed on my head." Darryl's explanation made Grime and Sasha laugh despite the fact they were sitting far from him.

"Good thing we can read lips." Sasha said.

"Yup." She and Grime laughed for the first time in a few minutes even after he confessed on what was going on.

After a day at the beach that lasted all night, Sasha had decided to say happy birthday to Dipper and Mabel on her laptop. She opened it up to join a group chat that had her, Ford and a worried Anne.

"Hey guys." Sasha said. "I wish to say happy birthday to Dipper." She then noticed how everyone looked so down. "Jeez, why are you guys so down?"

"Sasha, something's wrong with Marcy." Anne replied.

"Is she okay?" Sasha asked.

"We don't know." Ford replied. "But, for a brief moment I saw her eyes flash orange."

"Orange?" Sasha asked.

"Yeah. I don't know why but, it happened." Anne explained. "And she appeared to be going crazy."

"I told Anne that we need to trust that Luz and everyone on her end can handle it." Ford explained. "Besides, I have faith in them."

"You're right." Sasha agreed skeptically. "Hey Stanford, do you know anything about how to combat Death?"

"What do you mean?" Ford asked. "Death comes for us all, you can't stop them."

"But what if Death wants you to die specifically, what should you do?" Sasha asked.

"Well, I don't know much about Death but from legends I learned about in my travels, a reason why a person might wish for Death is due to guilt. And the best way for that person to stop Death from coming for them is to confess to that guilt. But more specifically, to a person they hurt the most. Why this sudden fascination on Death, Waybright?"

Sasha looked down on the floor. "Someone just needs my help."

Inside Grime's room, Grime was busy doing some pull-ups on a training bar. He narrowed his eyes at a picture of a skull that was meant to be representing Death. "I might not beat you, Death. But I'm not going without another fight." He stared at the skull with anger and determination all while the skull was eyeing him back. Grime gritted his teeth in anger as his muscles tightened and his teeth gritted. He was ready for what could be his final conflict.
