Izuku; Let's get reading!
Chapter 17; Kicking back before the School Fest
Izuku's eyes widened and he beamed, "Wait really?!" Silver nodded, getting hyped with his friend's energy, "That's awesome! And makes a lot of sense, were you given your Telekinesis by your All Might too? That would make things too creepily similar-"
Silver burst into laughter, "Oh Chaos no!" Silver fell back into the fluffy couch cushions, "That would be soooooooo weird! Sonic cant be serious for a moment! Like, him just plucking out a quill and being like 'Eat this, you will gain the power of Telekinesis even though I have Super Speed.' would be funny enough, then him being serious when it isn't something he would be serious for…either he would burst into laughter or be so serious I would feel sick." Silver answered honestly, both images being off ones for Sonic, "Sonic is our number one, if he can't do it then gather the Chaos emeralds and if he still can't do it then we are all dead. Plain and simple, he is definitely who everyone looks to when things get rough. And he has always pulled through." Silver smiled remembering the smirk that the blue blur would often get to reassure others it would be ok and to unease the villain.
"Even though he is our number one, he is only 15 and has more…Mirio vibes. Like a mix between Kaminari and Mirio, and just a dash of All Might. Honestly, it would worry me not to see him smiling, and it makes me sick when he is serious. He only ever gets serious when it's life or death, normally he pulls taunts or teases at the enemies all the time. Making jokes in the middle of a battle just to lighten the mood and make everything a bit less serious, and it gives everyone reassurance things will be ok…" Silver explained and his ears dipped, he missed Sonic a lot, "Sonic is our Symoble of Peace, but he doesn't like to put himself above anyone else. He likes to stay relatable, and even though he is our big number one, he doesn't like to be treated like some famous-rich-fancy-all-knowing-pain-in-the-butt. Sure he has an ego, and yeah he does like some attention, he also makes friends with everyone."
Silver thought for another moment, giving a pause and a soft smile, "He just has a charm, like he is unreachable as well as right next to you. He understands everyone the same. It's weird…but…he just has a way with people." Silver shrugged and lent back, "He made friends with his biggest, most creepy-stalker fan girl and just added her to the team. He didn't just push her away for being clingy and creepy, he got to know her. And she is a wonderful person, very obsessed with Sonic, but besides that, she is like Ashido. He doesn't really like her clinginess and kinda just runs away when she starts getting too intense, but…he befriended all the misfits, and now we're all just friends."
Silver closed his eyes peacefully, "Tails has a manipulation gene where he has two tails, and got picked on for his double tails as well as his real name, Miles Prower. Knuckles was the last of his kind and a lonesome guardian of the Master Emerald, not having a lot of experience with people. Blaze is a princess from another dimension, again a guardian of her world's emeralds. Shadow was an alien-made life form, created by Science just to protect Maria who ended up dying in front of him and scaring him. Cream is someone sweet and innocent, but has a big heart and just helped Sonic. Rouge is a gem thief as well as a government agent. And I was a, and kinda still am, a very lost and alone time traveler who didn't understand basic stuff…as well as easily tricked into thinking Sonic was a villain and had the intent of killing him when we first met." Silver opened his eyes again, not quite yet looking at the two in front of him, "And yet he helped and befriended all of us. No matter how weird or confused we were." When he looked at the other two in the room, they seemed kinda shocked, "What?"
"You tried to murder him when you met him?" Izuku said wide-eyed, "And yet he still wanted to be friends?"
Silver flinched at the word 'murder', "Well…yeah. I was desperate to fix my home, as I already told you. Things weren't the best. I think he understood that and when Shadow helped me understand what was going on, Sonic just wanted to help me." Silver sighed, "It was a timeline that got erased so technically no one else remembers that besides Sonic, Shadow, Blaze, and me. The first time I met him in this life I was just kinda shocked and annoyed, I was shocked to see the pretty famous, even throughout messed up time, Sonic but I was annoyed he kept getting in my way of saving the Chao. I was trying to stop Iferit from raising but Sonic thought I was kidnapping the Chao. I was just hiding them cause Ifrit likes to eat them and destroy everything afterward. Once he understood what was going on he just nodded and told me good luck, and if I needed any help to give him a shout." Silver shrugged, "That was it. After that, I joined the Resistance and they all agreed that it was a pretty good idea to know if things got bad or what not in the future so I got to know them all better and we are pretty good friends."
Everyone was silent again after Silver's speech before All Might laughed, "Welp, seems like your a fanboy too, definitely can see Youg Midoirya in you."
"Hey!" Silver huffed and crossed his arms, "I'm not a fan of Sonic, I'm just friends with him."
"...You do realize you spent the last thirty minutes talking about him right?" Izuku said and Silver rolled his eyes.
"Pleeeease," Silver waved his hands, "Doesn't mean I'm a fan, just means I miss the sucker. And I admire how he can handle things as he does, I always mess it up and either horrify or confuse someone." Silver rose a brow and looked at Izuku slyly, "Plus you have spoken about All Might for a solid three hours, and you would have continued if my alarm didn't go off." Midoriya's face flushed and Silver chuckled, "I can admire someone without being a fan of them. I am Sonic's friend, and yes I do usually enjoy his company, but I'm not a fan."
All Might laughed, "Three hours Young Midoriya?" he shook his head a little, "Man, I can't believe you could listen to him for that long."
"I've listened to Amy talk about Sonic for four days."
Izuku and All Might sat there, shell-shocked, "Welp…" Izuku said wide-eyed, "...Why do you do that?"
"Because I enjoy listening to others," Silver smiled and an idea popped into his head, "Speaking of listening to others, have you heard of what we are doing for the fest All Might?"
"Oh yeah, some kinda mix between a dance party and a live performance, sounds fun." All Might said and Silver glanced at Izuku who shared the same beaming look towards him, "Young Midoriya, you said there was another reason you wanted to meet, what was that about?"
Silver turned towards his friend who frowned, "Well, I'm glad about your memories Silver." He said first and gave a nod to Silver who gave a smaller one back, "But during my work study…" Silver and All Might both drew more attention to Izuku, "I was able to use twenty percent of One for All, it took a toll on my body and if Eri wasn't there, I probably would have ended up dead. I couldn't counter Chisaki's long-distance attack, and I have tried to think of a solution but…I can't think of anything that would work since I still can't use a hundred percent of my strength. I have to think of something new." Silver fidgeted with his cuffs, understanding where his friend was coming from.
"Seems like your at a dead end." All Might said with a frown and Silver thought deeply for a moment.
Sure he didn't have One for All, but he did understand some of it. Sadly he didn't know what Izuku could do for a long distance-oh chaos! Silver gripped his head, having a random headache. He shook it off though, or tried to, glancing back at Izuku when All Might said he had an idea…
"Black Whip." The words spouted from his mouth without meaning, causing Izuku and All Might to turn to him and Silver to grow his own confused and slightly alarmed expression, "...What the heck?"
"Silver, what do you mean by that?" Izuku asked, really confused and Silver shook his head while shrugging.
"I dunno!" Silver said confused with himself, "That's never really happened before, I've never…said anything without my control. That is weird, very weird." Silver shrugged, "I don't even know what that means, you should get a black whip? What? And just chuck it at people? That makes absolutely no-Chaos!" Silver gripped his head again, realizing what his heavy headache pain was from, "Oh fun, another vision." Silver said weakly as the world tipped and turned around him, swaying side to side as the pain grew and everything quickly went black before a new seance flashed in front of him.
"Deku!" Urarka shouted as she jumped onto Izuku as he was struggling to control…something. Black and green tendrils spilled violently from Midoriya on all sides, Silver panting and reaching forwards before-
"Silver?" Izuku's voice softly rang into his ears and Silver his eyes slowly opened, oddly not feeling any 'Vision Intuition', "You ok? You want some tea?" Silver hummed and nodded, that was odd.
"That vision was so short…" Silver muttered with a frown before taking a sip, "And I don't have any intuition…I guess it happens later than in the next few hours. Maybe in a couple of days?" Silver shrugged, and stood up, the headache still lingering a little bit, "So…neverminding whatever that was…All Might what is your idea?"
All Might blinked before chuckling, "Unclear hmm? Well, Midoriya, how about you change into your gym clothes, Silver you can come along if you'd like. You don't have to though." Silver nodded and everyone temporarily parted ways.
After a highly productive training session with All Might, where Izuku learned he could use wind pressure, Silver chewed him out for breaking his hold during the raid…then laughed about it. They went back to the dorms had lunch and began practicing their dances and whatnot. Silver spent most of his time either doing school, his cafe job, dancing to practicing his bubbles. And let's say…Azaiwa wasn't very fond that Silver would even practice them during class. After that very busy and productive day he had dinner and went to bed. Nothing too special, but since today was Saturday, no work or school AND he could sleep in!
Silver happily snuggled under his covers with a purr, being his natural hedgie self, and wrapped himself in the blankets like a happy little blanket-hedghog-burrito! (A/N; If you don't already know-aka-if I haven't already told you, Hedgehogs can purr. It's just a little rougher than cats.) Even his tiny tail wagged happily with the idea of sleeping in. Focusing on the bubbles and doing them all day did make him a bit worn out, and he hadn't slept much the latter week because of the raid. But now he could sleep for as long as he want in his blanket burrito…
"I love weekends…" Silver murmured to himself as he drifted back into his wondrous slumber. Peace…finally…
Silver found himself beginning to dream of him sitting with Blaze, watching the sunset in Emerald Cost. The water and the breeze, and Blaze sitting right next him…with her hair beautifully flowing unclipped. She was there making this already so pretty seance even prettier… "Silver," She murmured and turned to him, making Silver turn to her in response. He hummed and looked into her alluring honey orbs, shining like the sunset, "Silver, come on." She said and Silver tilted his head confused, come on to what? "Silver. You awake?" She said a little louder and Silver grabbed her shoulders in concern, "SILVER I'M ABOUT IT COME IN THERE!" That was nooooot Blaze's voice!
Silver jerked from his dream with a shout, getting tangled in the blankets and falling off his bed in the process. Kirishima's voice with Blaze's face was nooooot his favorite thing. If fact, he kinda hated it. "What'd you want?!" Silver shouted sleepily trying to untangle from the blankets before realizing he needed to turn into a human and got even more stuck.
"It's rehearsal time!" Sero's voice muffled and loud reached his ears, "We'll give you five minutes before we drag ya down there." Silver whimpered, I guess that meant he got no more sleep…
Quickly untieing the blankets, Silver popped up and changed his clothes. Easily slipped into his boots and gloves, as well as clipped on his inhibitor rings. Silver psychically brushed his hair, fixed his bed, grabbed his water bottle and took a quick sip, checked his phone (for no real reason besides habit), and tidied his room just a little. Silver sighed and smiled, almost opening the door before realizing he got his inhibitor rings on backward, his boot rings on his arms, and his arms rings on his boots. Silver huffed and unclipped his rings before switching them all up and clipping them in the correct places, then a rogue cuff decided to be a problem. Silver groaned and tried to clip it on, finding it to be harder than normal and hopping on one foot before crashing into his desk with a yelp.
Then he felt really stupid and realized it was upside down. That was an easy fix. After that, Silver popped up to the door and smiled at the three classmates looking confused outside his door. "Hmm?"
"Uh, you alright?" Sero chuckled and Silver nodded, "What was that crash all about?"
"You look like you've been up for ages!" Kota said in awe and Silver gave an embarrassed smile.
Rubbing the back of his head, the young psychic blurted, "Well thanks, I woke up like two minutes ago. And uh, the crash was me being stupid and putting my rings on wrong." Silver gestured to his cuffs and chuckled, "Forgot about today's practice."
Kirishima tugged them downstairs and Bakugo growled, "Finally outta bed, Pigtails?" Silver gave an awkward smile while walking over to the dance team, today was gonna be productive! Tiering still, but PRODUCTIVE!
"Midoriya! Just because it's called a 'lock' doesn't mean you have to be so rigid!"
Mina's words rang into his ears and Silver looked at his friend with a comforting, or at else supposed to be, smile, "You'll…You'll get it." Silver said, his smile turning into more of a struggling frown.
Not because he didn't believe his friend could do this! Not at all, just dancing while focusing on roughly a hundred bubbles wasn't as easy as he'd hoped. Silver grit his teeth while trying to evenly split his focus, finding himself breaking from the dance or losing the bubbles way too often. One bubble while dancing? Manageable. Five? Eh, sketchy but doable. One Hundred? Yeah, he needed a LOT of practice, not only that but Mina said she may want more. The hedge-boy groaned and began trying to multitask again when his ear flicked, and the bushes nearby moved. Silver tossed a glance in the direction and spotted Mirio just staring at them from in the bush.
Silver tilted his head before looking back at the bubbles and sighing, "It's weird but hard Mirio, don't judge…" Silver noticed Mirio frown deeply upon pointing out his existence.
Izuku waved and Mirio huffed, before turning around and pulling our Eri, "Hey guys! I brought a peach for ya!" Silver scrunched his nose at the odd show Mirio had put on but upon seeing Eri's sweet face in such a cute dress-!
Pop! "...NOOOOOOOOOOO!" Silver cried and fell to his knees, "This is the seventeenth time this morning!" He mumbles sadly, watching the glitter orange and blue dust fade around him.
Mirio popped out of the bush, "Sorry, didn't know peaches were a trigger for you." He said awkwardly and Silver looked at him.
"That's not…no, peaches and Eri are fine. I'm just trying to practice something and it's not working." Silver huffed sourly and rolled over onto the dirty outside ground, getting who knows what kinds of stuff into his hair, but he didn't care…he was so upset, he almost -not really- did it! "Nice to see you again Eri, sorry you have to see me like this."
The dance team didn't mind, feeling a little embarrassed about Silver's show, but they understood, "Get up." Azaiwa said roughly obviously not a fan of it.
Silver sighed and popped up from the dirty ground and wiped himself off as Mirio explained he wanted to show Eri around before the festival, that way she wouldn't be too shaken when it came along, "Midoriya, Silver, wanna come with?"
Izuku's eyes lit up and he nodded while Silver felt shocked, he didn't help much with the raid nor did he think Eri particularly admired him as much as she did Izuku or Mirio or even Azaiwa but… "Of course!" Silver beamed brightly that he was invited to come along, his small hedgehog fangs glistening in the sunlight.
"Dance Team!" Krihima shouted as he ran out of the dorms excitedly, "New Idea! Huh?" The redhead drew his attention to the young girl, "Hey, it's Eri! We were never really introduced were we?" He asked with a laugh as the rest of the class came out as well.
"Hello, Im Mineta! Man, your gonna be a looker aren't ya?"
"I'm Tenya Iida, it's a pleasure to meet you."
As the words of introduction were said, Eri hid behind Mirio's leg and he chuckled, explaining she was a little shy. Mina beamed and shouted for tea time, allowing Izuku, Silver, and Mirio to show young Eri around the school. As they walked down the halls, Mirio explained that since everyone lived in the dorms now, they could prepare for the festival much more efficiently. Eri held the bottom end of Mirio's coat tightly and Silver's face softened with his heart, happy she could see something besides the gloomy prison with Chisaki.
"Hey, It's Togata!" One of the third years in the hall announced, causing Silver to draw his attention to the new kid, "Whoa who's that?"
"Don't tell me your temporary leave from school is because you have a kid now!" The second kid shouted with shock and Mirio only softly smiled, "Aw dang man, say something! Now I feel like it for real…" Silver glanced at Izuku to see if the teen knew what Mirio was doing only to be met with the same confused face.
The first kid laughed awkwardly and presented a poster, "All jokes aside, here, class A is putting on an awesome lecture, here, you take one too." Silver took the flyer and smiled, even though he remembered what Azaiwa said and couldn't help but worry that this class did something to make their teacher mad.
Either way, it was a fancy flyer, "This is nice, thanks!" Izuku said politely while Silver nodded.
As they walked around outside too many loud drills or hammers and shouts came from the students around them, while Silver was in pure awe, "Wooooow!" He mumbled as he took in the sight.
"It's still only a month away yet everyone is so busy…" Izuku said also captured by the sight, but a soft laugh left him upon glancing at Silver who was more caught in awe by everything than even Eri.
"Oh, Def! You gotta try and outdo last year!" Mirio replied and grinned as he walked around, glancing down at Eri to make sure none of this was scary to her, "And it takes a lot of work to try and pull off something plus ultra like this!"
The group all being so sucked up into the remarkable sights around them, none of them notice a metallic robot-dragon head get a little too close until it was too late, "AHH!" Silver shouted, bouncing back into a fight stance after colliding with the dragon head-on.
"Sorry, oh hey!" The dragon moved to show a guy in the UA gym suit with metallic grey hair, "It's Midoriya from class A!" He shouted showing he had teeth like Kirishima's.
Then Monoma also came out from behind the dragon, "Why am I not surprised? Walking around like you have nothing better to do!" He ran his mouth too much, Silver sighed with an unimpressed face and stood naturally again.
While Izuku made sure Eri wasn't spooked, and Monoma started getting upset about 'being ignored' the guy holding the robotic dragon spoke up once again, "Hey, I don't think I've seen you before around here, I mean you look familiar but…" Silver hummed and looked at the boy who had spoken, then gestured to himself to make sure that the kid was talking to him, "Yeah you."
"Oh," Silver said and smiled, "Im kinda like the new kid of class A, but I've been in the class since All Might's retirement. Though it was supposed to be more of a temporary thing till my parents came because I have amnesia but they never came so…Im an unofficial student." Silver said to clear some stuff up and the guy from class B made an understanding 'ohhhh' and Silver just nodded.
SilverPsychic; Ahhhh, so how'd you all like it? BTW; Silver will become an official student…soon…? Hopefully… *anime sweat drop* Maybe after the school fest and after Halloween and after…yeah so he WILL, but…maybe in a couple of chapters.
Silver; …Do I get fancy tests as Izuku did?
Izuku; Uh, that wasn't exactly fun-
SilverPsychic; YES YOU DOOOOOO! I'm so excited about the School fest! Hopefully, it'll be nicer than like…the original way I wrote it. But yeah! That's it for today's chapter and I want to say, I WILL be adding Sonic, Shadow, and Blaze! So keep an eye open for them! Next TIME! (Dang it's not pre-written-) The group finishes their tour with Eri and Silver eating a sandwich. AND THAT'S IT-nah I'm kidding. More visions peek through and bug the poor hedgie's head as well as a certain tea HELPS with those headaches? Silver also begins to question when the right time to tell his classmates and teachers about him being an alien, as well as we, can hopefully see a peek of Silver doing his cafe job!
