RWBY Blood Love
Chapter 2: Blood Bath
For many years I bore the gaze of hate from many people. Most were humans who persecuted the Faunus out of arrogance and cruelty. Even a few of my Faunus brethren despised me. Why? I often asked myself that question growing up. The answer was simple in hindsight… to them I was a demon, something as insidious as the Grimm. All because of my heritage as a Vampire bat Faunus. It was never my desire to be this way, to look ugly and crave blood, but they never cared. All they sought to do was to hurt me in the worst ways possible, some with weapons even deadlier than a blade.
"MONSTER! FREAK! CALL THE HUNTERS!"
Those were the horrid words I frequently heard as a child, the heart piercing daggers that people used. They still haunt my dreams to this day, as did one other thing.
"Blake." Yang said to Blake, but with a venomous tone that poorly hid the massive swell of anger filling the Xiao Long as her eyes redden and met Blake's frightful gaze. Her heart began pounding as Yang slowly advanced towards her.
Yes… it was those eyes, so filled with anger and hate like the others. Yang, my own partner that I felt could keep me safe from any danger, was now going to be my grim reaper.
As Blake thought this horrible fate to be, her hand felt something soft as she tried to push herself off the ground in a desperate bid to run and hide, something she felt was all she was ever good at.
"Aaagh." Ruby moaned a bit, blush flushing her face, and Blake looked down to see the sight before her. Her hand was cupping Ruby's small pink breast. Blake, in all her fear of Yang's wrath and painful recollection of her childhood, had forgotten she was pinning down a naked Ruby by accident. She immediately blushed as she was screaming inside, contemplating how she could forgotten the reason for Yang's anger or the precarious look she was giving off. As her mind raced, Blake's attention was caught by a small whimper from Ruby.
"Um Blake, c-could….could you please get off me, I need to change." Ruby sheepishly said, embarrassed beyond belief by her state.
"Oh! Sure Ru-" Blake had tried to say before a scream cut her off.
"THAT'S MY LINE! GET OFF HER!"
I covered my human ears as I heard the rage-filled screech and jumped off Ruby. It didn't matter to me my ass and back hurt after I fell hard on the wall in a corner of our dorm room, I knew I was in for a far more horrible pain as I felt Yang's fiery hair flicker.
"I didn't mean just boys. No one, and I mean NO ONE, lays a finger on my baby sister and lives to tell it!" Yang roared as she clenched her glowing fists at Blake's retreat, itching to smash her head in for trying to sleep with her sister. To her, Ruby's big sister, such an action deserved such punishment.
I ignored her words and the heat radiating from her, I could not focus on anything other than those eyes. They were red like mine when my bloodlust kicked in. But I found no comfort in the similarities between Yang and I for I knew who the target of that bloodlust was as well as how such a desire was almost impossible to quell, especially when filled with righteous anger like Yang's. I couldn't bring myself to speak, I was so afraid. This was worse then experiencing the hate of my own people who refused to understand me, or the hateful screams Adam threw my way when I left him and the White Fang. That was because for once in my life, I knew I had no excuse, no justification. For once… I was guilty.
I indeed laid a hand on Ruby I stole her chastity, drank her blood without permission, and very nearly drank so much I nearly killed her. Her blood was just so damn tasty, so rich and sweet like strawberry ice cream really and I was so hungry.
In that moment, as Blake saw Yang prepare to throw a fist at her face, she closed her eyes to accept the fate both felt she deserved.
"I just wish I could get one more taste before I fall." Blake solemnly thought before her eyes widened and she gasped as she heard a painful gasp and thud.
"RUBY!" Both Yang and Blake cried as the girl withered on the floor, between them, blood spewing from her mouth as she clasped her cheek in agony as her red aura shined.
"Ah! Damn it!" Ruby screamed in pain. She was regretting almost instantly diving in and taking the blow for Blake. Her jaw felt like it was a poke away from dislocating as it throbbed and burned.
Yang was trembling as she looked at the little sister she tried to protect with righteous rage wither in misery, all because of her.
I saw my fist shaking as the feeling of my little sisters cheek was still on it. I felt like hurling as I saw blood, Ruby's blood.
Yang's own blood froze as she pondered a damning reality before her as Ruby cried a bit while rubbing her bruised cheek.
I hurt her, I hurt my little Ruby! W-What kind of sister am I anyway? B-But why did she take the blow? Why defend this bitch who tried to sully her?
"R-Ruby I… I'm so-" Before Yang could finish her apology as she crouched down beside Ruby, she was shoved away by her little sister. The push brought a knot to her stomach as she felt as if she had been the one punched by a loving sister, not the other way around.
"Chill out Yang, Blake didn't hurt me!" Ruby yelled, making both Yang and Blake look at her surprised.
Man you hit hard…Okay. Here's what I need to say, I just hope she buys this for both our sakes. I'd hate to leave Blake out to dry… I already did that once to a friend.
Ruby grew solemn for a moment as she felt a worse pain in her heart than her cheek right now. She hated recalling "that" as well as lying to her sister, but desperate times called for desperate measures.
"Here's the deal, you see this patch on my neck?" Ruby asked as she pointed to the white bandage placed there. Yang nodded in return.
"Well you see Blake ugh… heard me trip in the shower." I said to my sister, God I hope that meat head buys this. But hey, she should, after all her grades are worse than mine so perhaps those brains just all went into those fat boobs of hers.
Ruby thought this before briefly glancing at Yang's rack and grimacing while feeling her much smaller one. She always hated how skinny and childish she looked despite being 16, yet her sister had the figure of a supermodel. It just wasn't fair.
"No fair Yang, I drink milk and massage them, why can't they grow!?" Ruby thought before Yang coughed and caught her attention.
"Hello! Remnant to Ruby you were saying?" Yang asked curiously, having no idea why Ruby was staring at her boobs. Ruby sighed a bit as she was glad her sister could be so dense.
"Right sorry, got distracted. So Blake she heard me yell and rushed into the bathroom. I cut my neck when I fell so she was just patching me up. As for why she's almost naked well… she got wet helping me so she was in the middle of changing yeah that's it! We were all dried off and about to put on our clothes when we heard you coming in and didn't want to be seen like this. We just bumped into each other that's why we were in that pose, nothing happened sis I swear." Ruby lied. Each word sank her heart as she felt a surge of guilt fill it, which was made even worse as Yang sighed with relief, having bought the lie.
"Oh man that's a relief! For a moment I almost killed you both oh! S-Sorry baby girl. Really I…" Yang said amused before her smile faded as she eyed the bruise on Ruby's cheek and her partner trembling in the corner, all because of her.
Damn it! I just had to go burning everyone's high spirits to ashes. It's all my fault, why can't I just do anything other than smash.
Suddenly Yang was knocked out of her self-deprecating thoughts by a quick hug from Ruby, feeling a wet sensation on her shoulder she knew was from tears.
"It's okay Yang. It was an accident. I know you'd never hit me like that on purpose. You were just looking out for me is all." Ruby said as she tightened her hug. Yang's eyes returned to their natural lilac as they grew wet as well and flooded her face as she embraced her sister. Meanwhile, Blake was eyeing the two make up, finally managing to smile and calm down a bit after that close call with death.
"Thank God. Ruby… I really can always count on you. Man, I always thought a human or Adam would be what kills me but I never thought it would be your sister might be it." Blake thought sheepishly. Despite the bitter guilt still in her from feeling she deserved it, she soon felt a strange urge arise within her at the sight of the two making up. She wanted something as well.
"Wha-What the?" Yang said as she suddenly felt another pair of arms wrap around her and Ruby, seeing black hair in front of her.
"B-Blake?" Yang asked, confused that the normally anti-social girl she almost pulverized was now being so close to her.
"Just shut up a bit, please." Blake sternly said as she tightened her grip. Yang could only nod a bit in compliance, hitting Blake's neck and hair as the Faunus caught sight of Ruby and Yang's. She was desperately willing herself not to take a bite despite her hunger. But the smell of blood on Ruby's bandage and the sight of their firm necks was getting to her, it was mouthwatering
Ruby's eyes widen as she felt a bit of drool drip on her back and looked and saw Blake's eyes flickering red. Her lips were twitching as she eyed both girl's necks, Ruby knew what that meant.
"Your still hungry?" Ruby mouthed to her friend, who could only squirm a bit as her mouth starting slowly opening, revealing her vampire fangs again.
"Wow! This girl is still hungry after drinking almost 3 pints from me?! Well…she did hold it in for months. Withdrawal must suck. I got to make sure she doesn't do it to Yang, she just got sold, I can't tell her I lied after all that!" Ruby thought.
Ruby tried to raise a hand and block Blake's mouth as it slowly veered towards her partner's neck, but Yang's tight bear hug made that impossible. All she could do was mouth her plea to her friend before it was too late.
"NO! Fight it Blake! Just wait till we're alone I'll give you-" Ruby pleaded as she mouthed the words, but was silenced as Blake mouthed her own and cried.
"I can't. You were too damn delicious! I'm sure she is too and I'm starving!" Blake mouthed as she widen her jaw a bit, inches away from Yang's neck before the group all jolted and separated with a fright at a screech at the front door.
"WHY ARE YOU GIRLS NAKED AND HUGGING!?" A white haired girl with a scar on her eye yelled at the top of her lungs as she blushed and pointed a squirming finger at them.
Ruby ignored the yell as she saw Blake's eyes turn back gold from the shock before she began breathing a bit rapidly and covering herself, away from Yang who was dizzy from the sudden motion, cartoon swirls in her eyes. Ruby sighed in relief.
"Oh thank you BFF! I really needed that distraction, you're a life saver." Ruby thought before feeling a chill all over her skin.
"ACHOO!" Ruby sneezed, rubbing her nose as she shivered.
"L-Let me put on some clothes and I'll e-explain." Ruby stuttered.
Meanwhile…
Beacon's headmaster Ozpin was filing documents in his office with Professor Goodwitch, unaware of the chaos unfolding in his school. In fact, the source of that chaos was the very reason the duo were busy today.
"So this is the proposal form you wanted for Miss Belladonna sir?" Goodwitch asked as she handed him a document.
"Yes Glynda, I hope the council will consider it. The plan would not just help her with her personal uh "problem" but it could help a lot of student's who get injured." Ozpin said hopeful, but mindful of his tongue. He treasured his students and was careful not to speak out loud their personal ordeals or characteristics for fear of who could be listening. Only he and professor Goodwitch knew of Blake's heritage and past with the White Fang, as far as they knew, and were intent on keeping that a secret as well as helping her.
"I agree that an added blood bank for Beacon students would provide her with relief, but I doubt the council would be willing to expand the funds and manpower to a school other than Atlas." Glynda said bitterly, something Ozpin picked up on quickly.
"Come on now Glynda, it is worth a shot. After all, just one a day from a thoughtful student or citizen could keep her cravings down. Time is of the essence here." Ozpin said solemnly. Glynda's eyes widened a bit as she pondered his words.
"It's true, that girl is a ticking time bomb. She's been strong for a month or so but it's only a matter of time before her will breaks and she starts biting students. It's just like Miss Rose, I really can't understand why Ozpin let such trouble into this school when he didn't have too." Glynda thought.
Ozpin could basically read Glynda's mind as he saw the bitter doubt swelling on her face and sighed, catching her attention.
"Remember Glynda, as Hunters we have a duty to protect lives, that includes our own. People, human and Faunus, have treated this girl poorly for something not her fault since she was a child. From what she's told us, it's even worse for her family due to the stigma both species give them, especially in the old days." Ozpin solemnly said. Goodwitch shivered as a bitter thought crossed her mind.
"Being hunted by Grimm is scary enough, their just wild beasts. But people hunting you down, I can't imagine a more frightening scenario sir." Goodwitch fearfully said. The mere notion was making her spine chill.
"And THAT is precisely why Glynda we are her only hope. We can't just out her to the student body and hope they'll understand. It's just not realistic. I don't doubt miss Rose and her sister would be thoughtful, perhaps even other Faunus students, but Miss Schnee…" Ozpin didn't even need to finish, the answer was obvious.
"Would take up arms and drive her away at best, or destroy her out of misguided fear like the council would, hence why your keeping the main objective a secret right?" Glynda asked.
"Indeed, only time will tell though if this will work. If not, worst comes to worst you and I could donate blood, though that would just postpone the problem." Ozpin sighed.
"Yes, they need lots of blood regularly or they go into crazy craving moods. I doubt the two of us alone could settle her down. Lets just hope no one else finds out and gets dragged into this mess." Glynda said solemnly.
That night…
As Weiss and Yang lay sleeping in their beds, Ruby and Blake's were barren as the two had plans elsewhere. Hidden in the main plaza, within the large oak tree in the middle, were two girls embracing while covered by the darkness and the tree leaves.
"Eat up Blake, I promised." Ruby whispered past her moans as she rubbed her crying friends head. Blake was weeping as she bit down on the right arm of her confidant, pleasure and guilt filling her heart as blood filled her stomach. With each small gulp she felt an urge to take another, it wasn't just the long fasting, the flavor was just so invigorating to Blake.
Ruby however, was starting to grow pale all over except her face as her heartbeat grew faster despite the blood loss. Sweat dripped down her body as she jerked her hand away, ignoring the extreme pain it brought removing those fangs from her arm as it dripped blood. Ruby licked her arm to gather the blood on her tongue and pressed her to Blake's to the vampire faunus's shock.
"R-Ru..wai-" Was all Blake could utter past her friend's assault on her mouth. Each time Ruby kissed her, she pressed her body against the wooden wall behind them, the force almost knocking her off the tree. But Blake soon kept a firm grip on Ruby to keep them both in place as she didn't want this moment to end. The blood on Ruby's tongue, the soft hands massaging her breasts as Ruby's knee pressed to her wet nether regions. It was pure ecstasy.
"Hard to believe this girl was a virgin earlier this morning." Blake thought past the dizziness in her head as the heat from this blood donation turned make-out session was getting to her to Ruby's joy as her eyes narrowed tenderly on the Faunus.
"Hehehe, guess sneaking in a peak at those dirty books you read paid off. Naughty girl." Ruby thought as she pressed her assault, rubbing Blake's bat ears tenderly on top of it all, making the girl shiver with anticipation.
Ruby only stopped after a minute to catch her breaths. Her whole body was feeling lighter and hotter with each moment they continued.
"Oh man! I wish we weren't in a tree hiding. I would just love that shirt off right now and have a play date with those things again." Ruby groaned in her mind, blushing as she used all her will not to say her desire out loud. Soon her face paled, not from blood loss, but by a sadness that soon overtook her to Blake's concern as she raised an eyebrow after calming down a second.
"You…want to stop?" Blake asked before being startled by the question itself.
Wait? Why am I asking that? Sure she was good but it was just the aphrodisiac. She wouldn't want this and I shouldn't too…Right? Ruby couldn't actually,
But as Blake kept telling herself that, little did she know it was precisely what Ruby was fearing right now. Being near Blake was like igniting a fire in Ruby right now. It wasn't just the sex, which felt awesome to her, it was just she was worried.
"No, I want to help I'm just-" Ruby said before pausing, not sure if she could utter the embarrassing and sad thought.
"Is it just the bite? The blood? Do I actually like…would she even want me for any other reason?" Ruby pondered. She was afraid if she asked this Blake would get offended. She was never really that attractive compared to Yang, at least that's how the boys made her feel when they ignored her over her sister. So when a girl showed interest in her, even took her virginity, Ruby couldn't help but want to cling. She was just scared it was all a lie, an illusion cast by those fangs that bore down on her neck and arm instead of actual feelings she may have for her friend. The sadness taking her over from the uncertainty soon fueled her anemia as she felt her vision grow hazy and groaned.
"Ruby?" Blake asked before lunging at the girl and grabbing her by the cloak as she nearly collapsed and fell off the tree. Blake gasped as she pulled with all her might to keep Ruby from falling and yanked her onto her chest, wrapping around her limp body to make sure she didn't lose her again.
"I gotcha yah, I gotcha Ruby!" Blake cried. As she placed a panting Ruby down, she realized what had happened, what she had done as her bat ears descended in fright and shame.
"I ate too much again. Damn it! It's always like this." Blake groaned. She hated her cravings with a passion, forget Bat faunus she was more like a pig with how insatiable her thirst was at times. Even Adam wasn't able to handle her thirst, in more ways than one which only fueled her frustrations.
"Maybe…I shouldn't stay Ruby. I can't keep-" Blake tried to say before a weak hand gripped hers. Blake looked down to see a panting Ruby give her a forced weak smile.
"It…okay it's….I don't…lose you frie-" Ruby stuttered before passing out, her hand growing limp, but Blake clasped it firmly, crying into it. She couldn't help but admire this girl for her will to keep strong for a friend's sake. She had never truly seen it growing up. People like Adam or Illia would seem a good fit for her nature, only to get caught up in it all the action and make her feel even more uncomfortable than the racists, or have her abandon them to keep them or herself safe. But this girl she… she was pushing on, trying to make Blake's life better. It was then something clicked, the day they first met.
"Not everyone can have a happy ending." Blake remembered saying to Ruby as she rubbed the sleeping girls face.
"But that's why we're here. To make sure everyone gets that chance…. Right, a chance." Blake said to herself as she remembered Ruby's words, her heart skipping a beat as she eyed the girls bandaged neck. She licked her lips as her eyes reddened again only to shake her head as soon as that nasty thought crept in.
"No! Anymore blood and she'll die! Stupid! Don't ruin this, don't ruin her conviction!" Blake groaned in her head. After all the kindness and support Ruby gave her, something she honestly never expected from a human in all her life, Blake had to make sure not to kill her or rob her of her dream.
But these blood cravings were getting terrible. She really wished she was back at the Menagerie where blood banks were provided. It helped being the daughter of a rich cat, even though she honestly felt a bit pissed about that. Here was a little girl fighting for a faunus friend's health yet her parents gave up on such friendship with humans due to past failures, just like she almost did. She rubbed her eyes then, turning them back to gold as she carried Ruby over her shoulders and took her back to her room, slipping in silently as she places the girl in her bed and left to the bathroom to get her medicine and water.
"Not this time. I'm going to keep my goal close to my heart. I'm not losing my friend." Blake said quietly yet firmly. She knew she had to find a way to keep herself from draining Ruby. She just needed a little help from her later designing a new "toy" that could do the trick.
"I'll ask her when she's better. Should be easy to make for a weapons dork." Blake chuckled a little.
