Chapter 28 - Bella
A/N: Okay guys this is a short chapter so I thought that I'd respond to a few reviews.

The next morning, I found Jared sitting at the kitchen table waiting for me. "Morning." I said as I kissed his cheek as I went to pour myself a cup of coffee before joining him at the table. When I sat at the table and took a drink of my coffee, I looked at him and he looked upset. "What's wrong?" I asked.
"Bells, baby, we gotta talk." He said and I nodded. "You're wearing yourself too thin. Your taking on too much. Your taking care of our house. You feed Jacob, Billy and Charlie. Working for Old Quil. Helping Emily prep for the bonfires…and now I find out that you're going into business with her and the other girls. You've taken on too much and you need a break." Jared said.
I looked down at my coffee cup realizing that he's right. "Your right. I just don't know what to do." I said.
"Ask the girls for help. I talked to Rachel last night and she agrees with me. Your putting too much on yourself." He said.
I nodded. "Okay. I'll call the girls and get them to help me with some things." I told him. He raised an eyebrow at me like he didn't believe me. "I promise. I will." I said, reassuring him.
He stood up from the table. He walked around and dropped a kiss to the top of my head. "Good. Paul and I are headed to the cabin to air it out. Billy gave me the keys. Do what you need to, but in two days we're going to the cabin." He said.
"Alright babe." I said.
After Jared left, I headed back upstairs and took a shower and got dressed before I called the girls over. While I was waiting on them, I made a batch of muffins and a fresh pot of coffee. When the girls walked in, they all hugged me. "How are you? You looked beyond exhausted last night." Emily said to me.
The four of us sat at the table and each grabbed a muffin. "I can't explain it, Em…It's like even though I sleep, I don't really sleep. Jared is hoping that some time away will help, if not…then I don't know what to do." I told them.
Emily reached across the table and placed her hands on top of mine. "It'll be okay. What can we do to help?" She asked me.
I sighed. "Jared thinks that I'm taking on too much. He wants me to see if you guys will help with everything that I have to do until we figure out what's going on." I said.
"Of course. Just tell us what all needs to be done and will take care of it." Rachel said. I looked over and saw Kim nodding as well.
"Okay so this is everything that I need help with…I make a week's worth of meal to freeze for Billy and Charlie and then I feed them hot meals 2-3 times a week…Emily that's probably gonna be you." I said and she nodded. "I also clean around both houses twice a week as well…Jared doesn't know about that one." I said, laughing a little. "Then I obviously work with Old Quil, and take care of mine and Jared's house…I help Emily with pack gatherings…And…I've been helping the younger wolves." I finally finished.
"The younger wolves?" Rachel asked.
I nodded. "It started shortly after I moved in with Jared. It actually started with Seth. He came to me and said that he, Brady and Collin felt like the oddballs. So they started coming around a couple times a week…I'd fix them snacks, help them with their homework…then eventually when they'd come over they would just started talking about things that they were going through. Things that they didn't think that they could talk to anyone else about." I told them, picking up my coffee and taking a drink.
They nodded. Rachel was the first to speak. "I don't think any of us…Emily and I especially…realized exactly how much you'd taken on." She said.
"I think that was the point. I mean since I moved back to Forks I've taken care of Charlie and Billy, it's just something I've always done. And then after I broke up with Edward and Jared and I got together, I got a job working for the council, started helping Em…I just kept adding to the things that I'd been doing." I said.
"Okay, here's what we're going to do. Em, will take the meals, because other than you she's the only one that can cook. I will take care of Charlie and Billy. And Kim, can take care of the pups. That just leaves you with your house and Old Quil." Rachel said.
I nodded. "Are you guys sure? I don't want to be a burden." I told them.
Each of them placed a hand on top of mine. "Listen to me, us. You, Bella Swan are not a burden. You are anything but. You are our pack sister and friend. We'd do anything for you." Emily told me.
"Thanks guys." I said. The girls and I finished our muffins and coffee before they headed out. I decided to spend the rest of the day relaxing. Tomorrow I would be combing through the journals again.
