Chapter 36 - Emily

A/N: Hey guys! So just a note. I'm not gonna be writing much about Bella/Jared's trip to the cabin. I'm use that time frame to catch up/show what some of the other pack members/characters are up to while their gone. Any specific POV you guys wanna see? Let me know! Hope you guys have enjoyed these new chapters! Here's Chapter 36. Can you believe we're almost to 40 Chapters? I never thought it would be this long.

I was so happy for Leah. I hated that my imprint to Sam had caused her so much pain. But then when Jared imprinted on Bella, she had talked to Leah and somehow made her understand about the imprint. I'm still not sure what Bella had said to her and it doesn't matter. It had surprised me today, when Leah came over after Sam had left for patrol, saying that she wanted to talk to me. While we had a cup of tea, Leah told me that she was sorry for what she had said to me when Sam had imprinted and broken up with her. In turn, I told her that I was sorry that she got hurt. I needed to do something really special for Bella. She'd been able to do the one thing that nobody else could…she got Leah to understand the imprint.

We got an even bigger surprise when Jacob showed up. I'd asked Leah to get the door because I was in the middle of mixing up cookie batter. When I didn't hear any noise coming from the front door, I headed to check it out. I was shocked when Jacob said that he and Leah had imprinted on each other. Sam would definitely be shocked, but other than that…I wasn't sure how he would feel about it. I wasn't jealous but I knew that he still cared about Leah.

That evening, I'd sent all of the guys out of the house and invited Leah, Kim and Rachel over to help me brainstorm ideas for something to do for Bella. "I wanna do something for Bella." I told the girls.

"I think it's a great idea." Rachel said. "She's always doing things for everyone else. I mean, look at what she's been doing for my dad and Jake. Especially while I was away at school."

"Exactly. I mean, I know that I haven't know her as long as the rest of you, but I can clearly see that she does for everyone. You know, Brady and Collin came to see me today and they were telling me about how Bella would just sit and listen to whatever they had to say. Whether it was important or not." Kim told us.

Rachel, Leah and I nodded. "See. That right there is exactly why we need to do something for her. Nobody asked her to do that. Or to take care of the Elders the way she does." I said.

We sat there in silence for a few minutes. "What if we made her a library in their house?" Leah asked.

Rachel and I snapped our heads over to look at her. "A library?" I asked.

Leah nodded. "Yeah. Bells has always been an avid reader, why not make her a space where she can enjoy one of her favorite passions?" Leah said.

I guess it made sense. Now that I was thinking about it…Bella did always seem to carry a book with her everywhere she went. "Leah might be on to something." I said.

Rachel and Kim both nodded. "Do any of the guys have a spare key to their house?" Kim asked.

Rachel was the one to speak up. "Paul might. Him and Jared are always talking about how their best friends. Who else would you trust to have a spare key to your house, than your best friend?" Rachel said.

"It couldn't hurt to ask." Leah said.

We all agreed. "Rach, go see what you can find out." I said. She nodded and took off for the front door.

A/N: Another short one. Sorry guys. I promise it'll be worth it. Hope you guys liked it.
