Translators Note: In this special chapter, the author addresses some questions related to Shiroshi. While it's uncertain how relevant this might be to readers, and even though no one has directly asked these questions, I've decided to publish this to provide additional insight.

On another note, we're nearing the end of the first arc. I hope you've all enjoyed the story so far. When I began translating this story, I made several mistakes that affected the quality of the translation. This might have discouraged some readers, but I want to assure you that I'll be working on updating these chapters in the future.

I'd like to extend my gratitude to everyone who has reviewed the story. This includes those who didn't particularly enjoy it. Your criticisms are as valuable as the praise and excitement from readers like blueys50 and moose3333. As we move forward, I hope all future readers will continue to engage with the story. Much of the groundwork has been laid by the author, and we're now entering a phase of increased action and plot development.

Author:

Some people have criticized the protagonist's abilities being unclear, so I'll provide a brief explanation here in a standalone chapter.

There's not much to say, after all, the protagonist currently doesn't possess any overwhelmingly powerful skills that can be visually perceived, so having an ambiguous strength is normal.

Name: Chiba Shiroshi

Age: 12

Gender: Male

Abilities —

Taijutsu (Mastered. Speed, strength, and nerve response capabilities surpass that of an average Jōnin. Primarily employs taijutsu's instantaneous movement for sneak attacks, excels in one-hit kills, targeting weak points of the human body.)

Medical Ninjutsu (Mastered)

Natural Energy (Reasonably proficient)

Senjutsu (Incomplete, carries significant risk, thus no attempt to merge natural energy and chakra.)

Genjutsu (Basic)

Elemental Ninjutsu (None)

Comprehensive Evaluation —

Suitable for small-scale battles, inadequate for widespread damage. Cannot achieve an "Unrivaled" state and requires teammates to complement damage output.

Currently fulfills a role similar to Ayane, functioning as a single-target supportive secondary character, while the main damage dealer is Rui.

With Rui as the Fire Element Main-damage dealer, the team won't completely lose combat prowess if she is taken out, as the protagonist's Support role can maintain a certain level of damage output while also doubling as a healer.

That's pretty much the situation.
