Within a pink and white airplane that flew through the puffy white clouds, Mario was sitting next to Princess Peach with Toadsworth sitting just on the other side of Peach. It was a trip to Isle Delfino for a sunny and nice vacation, away from the yearly kidnappings and such.
In front of the three was a wall that had a built-in monitor screen to televise the welcoming message for tourists to Isle Delfino, a chime went off within the screen's stereo with a shining crowned star becoming brighter and more prominent on the screen.
Mildly entertained by the chime and message that was soon to be played, Princess Peach Joyfully pointed out at the screen with an excited expression. "Ooh, look at that!" She spoke out amongst the three with a smile, right before the televised welcoming video began to play.
At the start of the video, a few locals were within the video wearing what seemed to be the local custom garbs of the isle. "Welcome." The blue Pianta at the center of the group began to say, "To the sun-drenched tropical paradise of Isle Delfino!"
As the Pianta continued to talk, the video began to transition to different photos of what to expect for Tourists to partake in, "We're so pleased to welcome you to-to o-our b-beautiful ho-home….." the video began to break up with static, prompting the three passengers to look on in curiosity, unsure what was going on.
Their answer would soon be answered when an evil child-like laugh broke out through the static, followed by some odd music as the screen began to clear up. Mario shook his head and sat straight up with the word 'Bowser' escaping his lips.
The childlike form of what seemed to be Bowser calmed his evil laugh, before pointing out at whatever was used to film him. "Behold the carnage caused by I, Bowser. Jr!" The little tyke spawn of Mario's enemy claimed to be, pointed out behind him. The camera panned over to show a gooped up and painted Isle Delfino; every place the video was gonna show before it was interrupted, now began to show a helicopter view of every tourist spot ruined in gunk and graffiti.
Princess Peach wilted a bit at the prospect of a ruined vacation, "Oh no!" She fretted with her hand on her cheek.
"My word, this rapscallion had caused quite the mess!" Toadsworth exclaimed in an annoyed tone.
The video recording went back to Bowser Jr. standing on a deck of a flying ship the Koopalings are known to ride, the scion of Bowser had his chest out in pride with a fist at his side and his other hand holding up a large paint brush. "I issue you a challenge Mario, mwahahaha!" Junior said before letting out an evil laugh.
Mario began to grumble to himself, hopelessly thinking this was another plot by Bowser to kidnap Princess Peach.
After Bowser Jr ceased his laughing, he stomped his foot and slammed his brush on the floor for emphasis. "Papa is taking a vacation here and keeps talking about Kidnapping Princess Peach." Junior began to puff his cheeks up in annoyance, "I say no! This was supposed to be my debut, but Papa won't stop pestering me to kidnap some lady named Princess Peach!" Junior whined, earning an exhausted sigh from said Princess.
Bowser Jr lifted his paintbrush and pointed in the camera's direction, "Mario, you and papa are enemies! Thus that makes us enemies! Therefore, a challenge I shall give you!" Junior exclaimed excitedly. "Save the Isle, and face me mano a mano atop the volcano once you collect all stars!"
Mario made a suffering sigh, he was hoping to avoid dealing with this sort of stuff on a vacation.
"Once you land, the locals shall surely ask for your assistance! Afterall, you are the hero...mwahahaha!" Bowser Jr. Finished speaking with an evil childish laugh, before the video feed cut to a childish icon of Bowser's face.
Silence permeated between the three, before Toadsworth leaned over to his window. "My word, the island!" He cried out in shock, prompting Mario and Peach to get up and rush over to the other windows to see what Toadsworth was looking at and seeing.
"Oh my!" Princess Peach gasped in shock
Mario groaned to himself as he saw the entire island graffitied, with an actual face of Bowser Jr. Painted into the island. He just wanted a vacation for once!
