Gelato Beach Ocean
Mario could feel the minor g-force of being propelled forward by the new contraption on his back, the choppy ocean waves didn't make it any easier to aim and shoot the twin nozzles up at Bowser Junior was he was within range of the head of the mechanized Wiggler he stood atop on; just as Mario was able to line up a good shot and fire the twin nozzles of his speed ski FLUDD upgrade, Junior spun his large paintbrush around to deflect the aimed jet water streams fired at him.
Mario stopped firing his twin nozzles, allowing Bowser Junior to stop spinning his paintbrush, and shake his head at him. "You're gonna have to do better than that, Mario!" he yelled over the cacophony of everything that was going on, from Mario's Jet ski FLUDD upgrade, to the Mecha Wiggler splashing through the ocean as it sailed through the ocean. "Zhehaha!" Bowser Junior laughed boisterously in another attempt of a different villain laugh.
It was then that Junior swung his large paint brush through the air above him, magical blue paint coalesced into a large Bullet Bill that went headed in Mario's direction. "Mario!" FLUDD warned Mario as the Bullet Bill curved through the air towards him, "Avoid that enemy at all cost, I don't believe it'll do you any favors if you shoot it with your twin nozzles."
Mario, heeding FLUDD's advice, swerved through the ocean and dodged the large Bullet Bill; once the Bullet Bill impacted into the ocean waters, it exploded into a bright yellow ink substance that periodically expelled electricity. "Mario." FLUDD spoke once again as she continued to ski along the ocean waves and catch back up with the Mechanized Wiggler. "My scanner has analyzed the mecha Wiggler, it seems the exhaust pipes on each segmented body and nostrils have a fault within them." she explained to him.
It was then floating rocket powerup attachments could be seen floating on the ocean as Mario, Junior and his mechanized Wiggler, continued to 'surf' further into deeper waters off of the coast of Gelato Beach. "It is by my calculations, that those rockets will assist you in the endeavor of sabotaging that child's mech, and halt the mechanized Wiggler in its tracks." FLUDD informed Mario from her nozzle above his left shoulder.
While Mario water skied towards the nearest rocket powerup, the Mecha Wiggler took a right turn; once Mario grabbed the powerup, he took a sharp left turn with his water skis. As both Mario and the mechanized Wiggler fully turned around to head towards each other, Mario bent his knees as he prepared. As the two were close to a collision course, Mario took a left to ski alongside the right side of the mech, while the mechanized wiggler continued to sail along the ocean.
Mario fired off his rocket attachment at one of the exhaust pipes atop one of the segmented bodies, with a loud boom, the exhaust pipe exploded; the Mecha Wiggler slowed down somewhat, prompting FLUDD to speak up as Mario repeated the action from before by finding a nearby rocket powerup. "Mario, keep going! The Mechanized Wiggler is slowing down!" she urged Mario in a cheerful but robotic tone.
With a nod from Mario, he sped forward somewhat as much as his new FLUDD equipment allowed him to, and dodged several small incoming bullet bills that Bowser Junior had conjured up with his paint brush; after dodging the last one, Mario served to the right of the incoming mecha Wiggler, and skied alongside the left side of the mech. Thumbing a button on his FLUDD controls, Mario once again fired a rocket at one of the exhaust pipes atop one of the segmented bodies of the mecha Wiggler.
Another loud boom, and the mechanized Wiggler slowed down further; as Mario skied along the ocean waters, he was able to grab one more rocket and swerve back around to aim at one of the exhaust pipes sticking out of the mecha Wiggler's nose. While the mech had trouble moving now, Mario now had an easier time to aim and fire his rocket powerup at the exhaust pipe within one of the mechanized Wiggler's nostrils.
With one last boom, the mech halted and had to let out a large swath of steam out its remaining exhaust pipes. "Mario." FLUDD spoke up as Mario skied alongside the stalled segmented body of the mecha Wiggler, "I spotted a small platform and ladder within the crook of the neck of the head piece." she noted.
Mario swerved around, and just as FLUDD said, there was such a thing that would have been normally impossible to land and climb up on, if the Mech was moving; with his destination plotted, Mario skied towards the platform and ladder.
Atop the head
With his back turned to look out towards the ocean in the direction that the head faced, Bowser Junior allowed Mario to climb aboard his mecha Wiggler unimpeded; he held onto his large paint brush while the butt end of it reach the floor and the brush part pointed skyward, as Junior listened for the footsteps of Mario, he spun around to face his opponent of second stage mini-boss fight.
"So…" Bowser Junior began to say with unbridled excitement, "You finally arrived, my arch nemesis." he remarked with a toothy grin smile, "Any last words?" He challenged Mario.
FLUDD, back in her original form, spoke, "Mario, isn't Bowser your arch nemesis, and not this child?" she questioned.
Junior began to stomp his foot with a red face and steam blowing out his ears, and pointed at the FLUDD back behind Mario, "Shut up! No one asked you! I tried Luigi looking for Luigi, but he already finished an adventure in some haunted mansion, and I wasn't able to get everything ready at the time…stupid King Boo." Bowser Junior pouted impishly as he finished being steaming mad, and pointed his paint brush at Mario.
"Enough postering! Let's see what you're made of Mario! Show me why you were able to beat Pa so many times!" Bowser Junior encouraged the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom.

Dastardly Graffiti Fiend
"Zhehaha!" Junior laughed evilly as he swung his paintbrush tool upwards, sending vertical lines through the air at Mario; acting quickly on his feet, Mario performed a side somersault to get out of the way of the ink lines sent at him.
"I'm just getting started!" Bowser Junior yelled in 'evil' delight as he swung his paintbrush weapon horizontally, and from out of the brush, blue ink came flying out at Mario in horizontal lines.
Once again, Mario used his acrobatic agility to crouch and backflip into the air to avoid the incoming ink attack; As Mario was performing a backflip, he used FLUDD to spray as well to fire water into Bowser Junior's face. "Gah!" spluttered Junior as he stumbled back a bit while wiping his face and eyes of the water splattered into his face.
"Why you!" Bowser Junior yelled as Mario ran towards him and leaped to stomp down into the tyke's head, "Bwah!" Junior made a comical face with his tongue out from being stomped on, only to withdraw his limbs and head into his shell and spin his spikey turtle shell body around the impromptu battle ground.
Mario used his hover nozzle to stay up in the air as Bowser Junior spun around the boss arena, before coming back down once Junior missed him and continued past him to run into an exhaust pipe that was stuck up on the side of the head of the mecha Wiggler. With a loud boom, Bowser Junior found himself blasted off from the boss arena atop the head, and careened into the ocean below.
As Mario walked the edge to check and see if the tyke was alright, he found that Bowser Junior was indeed alright, as was simply drifting on his back, until his eyes snapped open with a punitive glare. "Okay." Junior began to say as he righted himself up, and swam steadily within the ocean while glaring at Mario, "I can see where I went wrong there, and no way I'm doing that two more times! You win this battle, Mario, But I'll be back!" he shook his fist up at Mario, before withdrawing into his shell.
Watching from atop the mechanized wiggler's head, Mario witnessed Bowser Junior jettison himself through the ocean with a flaming jet through one of his spikes on his shell, and left the area around the bend of the island. Mario nodded to himself with a simple smile, and watched as a shine sprite came out of the ocean nearby and shot out to land beside him on the Mecha Wiggler's head.
"What did that child mean, by two more times?" FLUDD asked out of the blue as he grabbed the shine sprite, another one down, more to go.
