Pinna Park

While Mario would do his usual gathering of shine sprites and coins on the small island amusement park that was just a little ways south of Gelato Beach, Bowser Junior would stick to sitting in his little clown hover vehicle, while occasionally giving him tips if he ever asked for any information; Mario supposed he shouldn't have expected the little spawn of Bowser to help him clean up his mess that he created, given his self proclaimed status as his 'arch villain', but it would help matters if he did something to make cleaning the area up faster.

After returning to the park from turning in some blue coins for another shine sprite from the boat house, Mario once again found Junior sitting in his hovering clown vehicle outside the entrance to Pinna Park; The little tyke simply smiled and waved at him as if he was innocent in all this mess all over isle delfino, "Hey! Mario." he beckoned Mario over with an excited expression.

As Mario jogged over to the child of Bowser, Junior piloted his hover vehicle to land, before climbing out to stand on his own feet and converse with him. "How's the progress going?!" he asked cheekily with an impish smile up at him.

FLUDD was the first to speak up from behind Mario's back as she turned her nozzle to talk to Bowser Junior, "Junior, wouldn't this all be faster if you at least helped?" she questioned him bluntly.

Bowser Junior simply blinked, and smiled with more cheek, "Why would I help? I'm supposed to be the villain here after all." he answered her.

"Junior, what-a she means is, since-a you are a temporary ally, why-a not help me clean the place up-a?" Mario asked the child with some reasoning on his part.

Junior continued to smile at Mario, "Nah, I'll just help you when pa sends in some minibosses like the Koopalings or something."

It was then that FLUDD tilted her nozzle up as her sensors caught something coming flying in from the distance, its point of origin seemed to be from the island's volcano, "Koopalings?" She questioned the child of Bowser. "Would that be one of their ships perhaps?" she asked the two.

While Junior looked up while placing his hand above his eyes to see better under the sun, Mario turned around to see an incoming wooden battleship that was flying towards the amusement park with the assistance of quad jets below its hull. "Yeah." Bowser simply answered with an excited expression, as he noticed the flag it was waving, "And it belongs to Iggy!" he shook his fists in excitement.

"Iggy?" FLUDD asked Bowser Junior as the ship continued to make its way to the small island that was just off the coast of the main island of isle Delfino. "And what warrants your excitement for him?" she continued to question the little tyke.

"Well…" Bowser Junior began to answer FLUDD as Mario glanced over his shoulder to look at Junior, "He's one of the few Koopalings that actually hang out with me to make cool mechs!" he explained with a broad smile, before frowning a bit, "Though, Iggy tends to be more crazy in his mechanical creations." he added in saying while rubbing his chin with his hand in musing.

Before Junior could go into any more detail about Iggy's character, from the many cannons that were situated all over the flying boat, dozens of bullet bills were fired off in quick succession with thunderous echoing booms that sounded off afterwards from the delay in sound.

"Uh oh." Mario worded out with his mouth open in shock at the Koopaling's outright overkill of bullet bill's shot in their direction.

"Ooh boy." Bowser Junior said as he hopped into his hovering clown vehicle, before pressing a button within it, that caused a metal arm and claw to grab Mario around the waist. "Come on Mario! We can't let those bullet bills wreck up the entrance to the amusement park!" he fretted as he drove his flying clown aircraft towards the off beaten path into the open beach to the right of the entrance, where in the distance, a vacant cannon was available for use; prior the current situation, Mario had to deal with a mole in the cannon that was shooting bullet bills, thus now the vacant cannon was up for use after he took care of the mole operator of the cannon.

"Mario, incoming speeding bullet bills." FLUDD warned her user/companion.

As Junior began to swerve his aircraft to avoid the faster incoming bullet Bills, he spoke up while flying towards the cannon in the distance, "Do what you can for our rear Mario! I'll focus on getting us to the launch cannon!" he hollered back without looking to focus on his flying and dodging the incoming shower of bullet Bill's from Iggy's flying ship.

Mario didn't need to be told twice as he thumbed the triggers of FLUDD's controls, and began dousing the incoming Bullet Bills, to which all that were catching up from the rear exploded from being doused in enough water from FLUDD's nozzle, all the while being held in the metal claw of Junior's flying clown aircraft.

Iggy

While he and the rest of the Koopalings weren't exactly children of their Koopa King Bowser, they generally acted as a family, thus it was a surprise to Iggy that he and the rest of the Koopalings were ordered by their king to warp over Isle Delfino, and aid their King against Mario as well as Junior.

The Fact that they were all tasked to not take it easy on Bowser's child, led them to pretty much believe the father and son got into a little argument, and now Junior was helping Mario to spite his dad; Thus, once they all arrived to get a better understanding of the situation, they were all amused at the revelation that it was indeed a little spat between father and son. Now it just begged the question how long Junior would play his little charade with Mario.

At present however, Iggy watched from above deck and over the banister of his flying ship, and stood witness to seeing Junior and Mario in the distance head towards a cannon to the far right of the beach of the small island; Not bothering to go soft on the little tyke, and Iggy knew the kid didn't like it when he and the other Koopalings held back against him in their little bouts roughhousing.

Thus, it was with some small measure of amusement on Iggy's part as he watched the little tyke avoid the incoming barrage of bullet bills with Mario in tow, before diving into cover within the cannon. Stepping back away from the banister of his ship, Iggy heard the telltale sound of the cannon going off, no doubt the two used the cannon to be launched onto the deck of his flying ship.

He'd be more than happy to 'welcome' the two. hehe.
