Chapter 14: A Fury Moment
In Lincoln's room, we see Linkage came in while transforming back into Lincoln. He slumped down to his bed, looking at his ceiling as he speaks.
"Hey guys, I'm sorry not doing face to face right now. It's just really tiring saving the day on the weekend. Being a superhero is cool, but still, really do a heavy day of saving the day. Some hard, easy, or even a great moment...here's what I'm talking about."
Flashback...
A scene change of Linkage stopping a car chase that about to crash into a building.
"*Sigh* man, for once a not a crash." Linkage said while swipe away sweats from his forehead.
In another scene, Linkage happened to be saving people from boats that sinking down due to a major breakdown. "Good thing I learn of running on water."
The final scene of some bullies messing up Lana and her friends' go-kart until Linkage shows up giving the bullies a deep glare makes them run away. He turns to Lana and friends who shocked to see a superhero.
Linkage back away as he salutes her. "No problem little girl, just be whoever you are...gotta jet!" he took off.
Flashback ends...
Lincoln smiled a little. "Least help out Lana, well I have this afternoon. Now spent the remaining time of relaxing in my room."
*BOOM!*
Lincoln startled to see Luna and Luan wearing headphones and a vest jacket, holding an angry Lori. "Huh, what's going on?"
"Sorry bro, but we need your room for a minute!" Luna shout pointed her thumb at the back shoulder means out.
"What why?" Lincoln question
"Because it's our Sister Fight Procolo, why you do not just make a banana and split." Luan joked until she got deadpan. "But seriously get out."
Just that, the girls literally kick Lincoln out of his room. The boy getting up with an annoyed look. "Okay, someone needs to explain to me about this Sister Fight Procolo?"
"I kinda help this Lincoln."
Lincoln turns to see Lucy, who coming out of her room, she to her brother. "Sister Fight Procolo is our system that whoever gets so angry each starts fighting in a tantrum. So decided the sisters to act of not seeing or talking to one another for a while, everyone notices about it."
"Well not me, I never know about this! Who's having a tantrum one another anyway?" Lincoln asked
"Lori and Leni fighting right now of buying the same dress," Lucy answered
"That's it? Over a dress?" Lincoln asked, baffled that the sisters would argue something like this.
"It's a sister thing, you wouldn't understand," Lucy replied.
"Then why aren't Mom and Dad doing something about this?" Lincoln asked her.
"They've decided to let Lori and Leni cool off so they've stayed out of the way," Lucy answered.
"Stay out of it, why kind of parents don't talk to their daughters about their problems?!" Lincoln question
"Listen Lincoln, is best just annoyed this for a day," Lucy said as she walked off.
Lincoln takes a deep breath and lets it out. "So what they having a stupid protocol, I'm still gonna have my day."
Not exactly... The whole house turns into a living system!
Lincoln going towards the kitchen but a block by Luna's who spoke. "Sorry bro, Kitchen off-limits causes Lori in there, eating her yogurt."
"I just wanna get a snack," Lincoln said sees Luna glare. "Fine."
Lana pop upheld up a bagel. "Here bro, a nice bagel from the couch."
Lincoln sees the bagel having a bite mark, hairy, having a mole spot, even a dead small roach. "I...just going out to eat."
they still keep eye on Lori who little calms down, until they smell something good, they go to the front of the window seeing Lincoln eating a box of pizza.
"That's pizza place cross-town, how he got there just for ten minutes?" Luna asked
"No fair," Lola said little grumpy.
Lincoln takes a bite of a pizza. 'Hm, Bobby knows how to make good slices.'
An hour later, the girls seem little to enjoy reading on the couch until they see Lincoln came in about to reach for the remote. They jumped in...in the blink of a second, they suddenly landed on top of each other, they confused until they see Lincoln aside the couch in a deadpan look.
"H-How did you?" Lynn asked
"Why you girls try to jump me, I wanna watch the monster truck show," Lincoln said
"Well that's the thing, that snow will cause Lori and Leni a headache," Lucy replied
Lincoln rolls his eyes. "Argh..." he leaves.
At dinner time, everyone finished up their meal, only with one of the sisters left until another dish serve.
"What's going on?" Lincoln asked sees Leni came in.
"Oh ever fight protocol, we just let two serving so Lori and Leni don't contact each other." Lynn Sr answered
Lincoln holds his stomach. "I already stuff, can we just-"
Lynn Sr glares a little. "Son, for all of us...eat the food."
Bedtime, Lincoln rubbed his stomach, so full that he gonna puke. "Well least I can sleep in."
Lincoln open his door and realized his bed sheets are gone. "What the?!"
Lana about to go to her room until notices her brother's shock. "I'm sorry Lincoln, but we need your sheets to block Lori and Leni's side to not see each other."
Lincoln gets angry. "Then I suppose to sleep with?!"
Lana lifted her shoulders. "I don't know dirty laundry."
Lincoln gets quite angry, he slowly walking to Lori and Leni's room as makes Lana panicky as she knocking on the doors of other sisters. Lincoln opens the door, sees his cover blocking Lori and Leni's sides. He grabbed his cover and pull it down.
"Twerp, what are you doing?! We need that to cover from her!" Lori shouts glaring at Leni.
"I bought it first, you should like-" Leni argue
"WOULD YOU TWO JUST SHUT UP!"
Lori and Leni were startled by Lincoln's yell, seeing him looking mad and irritated.
"Your trivial fighting has to end now! You two have ruined the day and this has to end now!" Lincoln told them.
"Lincoln, you can't interfere! It has to run its course!" Luan said.
"Like that's gonna help!" Lincoln told them, "Tomorrow, I'm gonna call in someone who can set your disputes with each other."
"Oh really, Lincoln? Who, Clyde?" Lori asked.
"No, someone who'll settle your disputes once and for all," Lincoln said, knowing someone who would settle the dispute.
The next day, the doorbell ring as Lincoln went to answer it. He opens the door, as he says "Thanks for coming here, Sarah."
"Anytime, Lincoln." Sarah replied, "As someone who has studied sociology on adolescences and teenage mind I sure can help settle your sisters' dispute."
"Okay, I called them," Lincoln said as turn to the stairs. "Lori, Leni, come down here!"
Lori and Leni without looking at each other, sit on the couch really separately. Lincoln leads Sarah to a comfy chair as she sits down. Lincoln goes to the kitchen to get some snacks for them.
"Hi, Lori...Leni, how are you doing this morning?" Sarah asked in a comforting smile.
"Literally fine/like good." both girls said in unison.
"Let start with why you two so mad at each other?" Sarah asked to bring out her notebook and pen.
"Well Leni here bought the same dress as I did that I was gonna wear," Lori told her.
"No way, I bought the dress first," Leni said defensively.
"I see," Sarah said while taking notes, "So did either of you know that you two were gonna buy the same dress?"
"Well...no." Lori admits, "But she shouldn't have bought the same dress as I did."
"Hey, I didn't like to know you were gonna buy the same dress as I did," Leni replied.
"Girls, girls, calm down." Sarah told them, "Let me tell you two a little story. Me and my roommate I, Belle, bought the same boots. Do you know how we settle it?"
"You two had a fight?" Lori asked.
"No, we've decided on which days to wear our own boots. Rather than arguing about it, it's best that we settle it in a different and more peaceful solution rather than something trivial." Sarah states, "Besides, something simple as a dress is not worth a grudge."
Leni look down and spoke. "Yeah, it's sound just talking it out instead of throwing fists at each other."
Lori crosses her arms. "Gotta admit, I tired keep walking to rooms to rooms just annoyed."
Sarah smiled. "Now, I suggest that Lori gonna wear the dress for six months, and Leni, you can wear it for the rest of the year."
"Alright/Okay." both girls said in unison.
"Now I wanted you two to look at each other and say those words," Sarah replied knowing gonna happened next.
"Well, I wanted to say-" Lori said unsuddenly her eyes turn red, she gets angry. "Like I'm gonna dress up not in a whole year."
Leni gets the same red eyes as angry. "Well I'm not holding back, I'm using that dress to get on a hangout with the girls!"
"Girls, I thought we had an understanding?" Sarah asked, baffled by their sudden argument as the two starts fighting.
"I thought it'd work, they were calm and ready to apologize?" Lincoln asked, as his sisters all have red eyes.
"Way to go, Lincoln!" Lola shouts while kicking Lincoln in the shin.
"Ow! What's up with you guys?" Lincoln asked them.
"Well if you hadn't butt in, we could've let this all set its course!" Luan told him with anger.
"Now we have to start over you idiot!" Luna shout hits Lincoln in the head.
"Luna!" Sarah shouts in shock now glared at her.
"Here's your little treatment of you didn't butt out!" Lynn shout
Lynn grabbed Lincoln's underpants and give them a big wedgie that reaches his head. Now, the girls bring Lincoln out of the house as he landed on the grass. Sarah goes to Lincoln as she knees down to check his wound.
"Is best to stay out until we get this over, is best for all of us!" Lana shouts as they shut the front door.
Sarah picks Lincoln up. "Are you alright?"
Lincoln gets up in full angry, slowly walked back to the steps with his hands gets red sparks of energy. He then feels Sarah hugging his back.
"It's okay Lincoln, I'm here with you...it's okay," Sarah said quietly.
Lincoln felt calm as the red energy dies out. Thanks to Sarah's hug, he went down to his knees. "T-T-Thanks, Sarah. I needed that, and I'm sorry."
"For what?" Sarah asked, releasing him from her hug.
"For bringing you into this, my sisters are too stubborn, but never this stubborn. You had a good breakthrough until their...eyes turn red." Lincoln said realizing what's happening, "You saw how their eyes turned red, right?"
"Yeah, that does seem strange." Sarah replied, realizing what he meant, "You don't think-"
"That there could be a third party at hand?"
The two turn and saw someone up on the rooftop. It's a woman with blue skin with spiky red hair, red eyes, and blue lips. She wears a red corset with a black skirt, fishnet stockings, and wears red gloves and boots. on the center of her cleavage, it's a blackness 'X' symbol that looks like infinity.
"Mmm, I just love to amplify anger!" she cries out while seeing the sisters argue. "Oh, the name's Sula, anger mismanagement demon."
"A demon?" Lincoln asked in shock. "Demons are real?"
"You got that right, boy." Sula said as she lowers herself down in front of the two as she sits on-air and crossing her legs placing her hand on her chin, "I'm what you consider an emotional demon, by influencing others into the emotions by amplifying them up, to the point of them destroying each other in the process."
"So you're the one who's behind their arguing!" Sarah points to her.
"Well the dress part is their thing, I've only amplified them just to see them fight each other," Sula said showing her fangs, having the smile of wanted more.
"The only one fight each other-" Lincoln shouts as he transforms into Linkage. "is you and me!
Linkage charge towards Sula as grabbed her and flew up in the sky. Sarah getting worried about Lincoln fighting off an actual demon in person.
'Lincoln, please be careful.' Sarah said in worried.
Linkage brought Sula as she kicks him far from her. "Don't be cheeky, boy." she said as she extends her hands into black claws, "You may have experienced some fighting, but you cannot be of a match against a demon!"
"Then it won't be hard to take you down!" Linkage said as he shoots red energy blasts which Sula dodges. In a quick swift, she scratch Linkage's back and kicks him away, "Yowch!" he winces in pain. His back having three red marks.
"Your pain is most desired," Sula said, licking the blood from her claws really slow, "Mmm, I can make you experience pain all over!"
"Tried me!" Linkage shout as both charge at each other.
Linkage and Sula exchange punches and kicks at fast speed, but Linkage getting scratch all over his chest and back. Sula then hits Linkage's stomach as the boy gasps out of the air. Until Sula back from the boy as pull out her only hand.
"I say experience full pain all over, so I gonna do that..." Sula said as she's created a pink ball. "In fast beam blasts."
The pink ball she has shot multiple beams at Linkage. He saw how fast they are as he keeps dodging them, but some beams hit him each time he tries to dodge. After many beams hit him, Linkage looks exhausted, as Sula teleports behind him, as she knees him on the back, making Linkage gasp for air.
"Pathetic," Sula said as she grabs Linkage's back and throws him down all the way to the park.
"Linkage!" Sarah cries out as she ran to her car, going to where Linkage is thrown off to. Sula watches as she turns to the house, giving a good look.
"Once you come back, be ready for a total beatdown from your family," she said as she phases into the house. Once she's there, she saw all the sisters arguing with each other as Sula's eyes glow white. "Control!"
All the Loud sisters stopped as they all turn to Sula, their eyes are blank.
"Yes, mistress..." the sisters said in unison.
"All of you go outside and if see Linkage, beat him down hard," Sula replied
The girls walked out but Sula stops Lori and Leni, examing their figures making the demon licking.
"Hmm not you too, I wanted to do with you really good," Sula said
Sarah finally made it to the park, she got out of her car and search for Linkage. "Where is he?"
"Wow, I loved the hoodie."
Sarah turns to see Linkage on the ground with his eyes closed, next to him is a goth girl who kneels down to look at Linkage closer. She has pale skin, blue eyes, black hair with white highlights. Wearing s purple dress with a skull belt, black long gloves, and black shoes.
"Um who are you and what are you doing?" Sarah asked in confusion.
"I'm Haiku that saved Linkage from the fountain," Haiku said rubbing Linkage's cheek. "He seems to have his breakdown."
Sarah little creep out, until Linkage start to wake up. "He's waking up."
Linkage lifted his body, rubbed his head. "Men that hurt-WHOA!" he sees Haiku next to him. "Sorry, you just scare me a little."
"It's okay, I get it a lot," Haiku said as sees Linkage stands up while winces.
Sarah goes to him. "You got cuts on you, you need to rest."
"Not until getting that Sula demon and take her down!" Linkage shout
Haiku stands up and spoke. "You mean Sula emotional demon, I read about her. I know her weakness to stop her powers and those controlling her."
"Really?" Linkage asks her, "How do you know?"
"I got an encyclopedia of many myths, legends, and types of demons. The most common thing about demons, they're weak against holy water, they can't enter churches, and they hate positivity." Haiku explained, "She's mostly powered by negative emotions, so giving her positive emotions can do the trick."
"So if I have to think positive, I have a chance to stop her?" Linkage said as he gets up, "Once I'm healed, it's round two for her."
"I'm sure you gonna beat her," Sarah said with a smile.
"Your welcome, I wanted to know about the hoodie you wearing?' Haiku said pointed to the hoodie. "It's my favorite one, so black and great."
"Oh, this?" Linkage said as give her his reason. "My name between Lin and Kage, Kage meaning shadow. So the hoodie is like my shadow style clothing."
"Wicked," Haiku said with a small smile.
Linkage stretches his arms. "I'm almost done healing myself when I have done with Sula. I'm might give your own style shadow hoodie if you like."
Haiku big smile. "YES!" Then go back to her usual frown. "I'm mean sure if you like...you made for my best friend Lucy."
Linkage smile. "Sure I can do that." he back away from them. "Time to get a little payback...gotta jet!"
Linkage flew up to have another rematch against Sula.
Linkage flew around to look for her as he notices his sisters are around the house outside. All 7 of the present, besides Lori and Leni, as Lily's with their parents who are hiding in the bunker due to the protocol.
'Weird, why are they outside?' Linkage asked as he lowers down the backyard, he saw Lana and Lola guarding the back door. "Excuse me, but have any of you see a blue lady demon around here?"
The twins turn to him, ominously showing their blank eyes, as Linkage looks shocked as they charge at them.
Linkage sees twins begin to do little martial arts style fighting as he defending himself. "How you two learning kung fu and why you two attacking-OW!"
Linkage got hit in the face due to Lynn, she charges at him like a raging bull. "Now that's funny."
Linkage dodges Lynn as hits the garage wall, he then felt on his leg. He sees Lisa crawling all over him as biting him all over like a bug. "Ow...girl...Ow...will you...Ow...stop...Ow...biting...Ow...me!"
He phases himself so Lisa stops crawling him. He then saw Luna who swings her guitar at him, making him dodge as she misses. "Why are you all attacking me? It's me, Linkage!"
He then saw Lola disturbingly twists her head, giving a hissing sound sticking out of her snake-like tongue.
"I'm never gonna sleep after seeing that." Linkage said as he gets hit with a frying pan by Luan. He then saw Lucy coming in with trying to strangle him, but Linkage held her back. "You guys...stop this! This is Sula's doing, isn't it!?"
"Hmm, being attacked by your own family, how satisfyingly negative," Sula said as she has Luna and Lori on the couch, as she grabs both of their feet and takes their shoes off, and tickle their feet.
"Kahahahahahahaha!" Lori and Leni laughed as Sula wraps her arm around their ankles, tickling their feet with her claws.
"Such lovely laughter," Sula said in lust while tickling the squirming toes.
Linkage was thrown to a tree as he saw his sisters all confronting him. No matter if they attacking him, it is his sisters who likely control by the demon so he needs a way to free them from her. He then saw a water hose which gives him an idea of how to restrain them.
At the exact moment, all of them charge at Linkage as soon all tie up in the tree by the water hose. In a slow moment, Linkage pushes all of his sisters to the trees and grabbed the water hose, he spins around the tree while the girls standing in one place.
"That takes care of you girls for a while." Linkage said to turn to the house with a glare. "Now for the demon."
Sula senses the sisters were defeated, so she grabs Leni and places her over her shoulder while carrying Lori by her short-shorts giving her a wedgie. She takes them upstairs as Linkage barges in through.
"Let them go, Sula!" Linkage told her.
"Always stopping the fun," Sula replied "I'll be taking these two as my own slaves. They have so much anger to each other, it's perfect for my appetite."
Linkage cracks his knuckles. "They not your meal...not ever."
Sula chuckled as held out her hand. "I think this one be your end" she tried to create her pink ball, but nothing. "What the?!"
Linkage smirked. "You feed on angry and negative emotions, so long as I keep thinking positive...I can beat you."
Sula gets angry, she drops the girls and teleports in front of Linkage. She grabbed his head as gets pink energy around his head. "I not gonna lose, I just gonna bring you in my mind to get for rage out."
"No...stop!" Linkage shouts his head felt heavy as so do his eyes until gets his hands to glow in red. "Get...out...of...my...HEAD!"
Linkage headbutt Sula as she stumbled back, Linkage start throwing punches and kicks at her. She fights back while talking bad about him, but that doesn't stop the boy as he blasted her outside.
Sula is now outside, with lots of hurt and pain as see Linkage goes to her. "You beat me...but I'm got something to tell you, boy."
"What are you talking about?" Linkage asked
"I'm just driven their angry not their actions, you better get things straight with them because of one day. They will break your heart and I gonna enjoy it." Sula answered
"Like that's gonna happened." Linkage told her, "Sarah, now!"
Suddenly, a bucket of water splashed onto Sula, thanks to Sarah. Sula coughs up as she felt a burning sensation "W-Wait! What is this?!"
"Holy water, straight from the church!" Sarah replied, holding the bucket.
"NOOOOO!" Sula said as she opens a portal, "You haven't seen the last of me, Linkage!" she told while entering the portal before it closes.
Linkage sits on the grass, breathing heavily due to fighting a lot. "Man, this is getting difficult."
"I'll say," Sarah said as remember the family. "Huh Linkage, the family." in a fast moment Linkage came back. "You did it."
"Yeah, I'm bringing the girls back to their rooms as Leni and Lori on the couch." Linkage said transform back into Lincoln.
Sarah goes to the front door and opens it, sees Lori and Leni hugging each other. Even the sisters got here much surprise Sarah.
"Looks like you two finally get along," Sarah said with a smile.
"Yeah, you're right. We both agree of half months, we gonna wear the dresses." Lori said
Lincoln came in with a smile. "Finally this fight is over."
"Yeah, no thanks to you, Lincoln," Lola said to him.
"What? I was the one who's trying to at least do something rather than do nothing!" Lincoln respond.
"If you haven't butt out, we doing fine!" Luan replied
"Listen, bro, if we got a problem...you not part of it," Luna explained makes Lincoln get angry.
"You know what, that's fine! If you girls trying to hurt each other and get badly hurt. Don't coming to me to get you all out from now on, I'M DONE!" Lincoln shouts as he runs to his room.
"Lincoln wait!" Sarah shouts only hearing a slam from a door, she quickly glares at the sisters. "I hope you all happy, I'm going now." Sarah turned to the door, as she tells the Loud sisters "You know, your brother was really trying to help. This 'sister fight protocol' shouldn't be the answer to your problems if you had just give your brother a head's up. You're all his family you know." she said while closing the door, leaving the sisters to think what she said.
Luna who looks guilty about it, spoke "Dudes, maybe we should've been so harsh on Lincoln."
"Yeah, I mean Sarah is right, maybe we should've told Lincoln the sister's fight protocol in the first place."
"Or even have one if we learn to settle things peacefully," Lucy said.
"Well, he should know to-Ouch!" Lynn replied gets hit by Lori.
"It's best to him to chill, I'm mean...he can't be that angry," Luan said
Lincoln seems sitting on his head, having a memory of Sula.
"I have driven their angry, not their actions, you better get things straight with them because of one day. They will break your heart!"
Lincoln sadden. "I hope they don't their action isn't worst like this."
On the roof on the other side of the Loud House happen to be Metaxist who seems to have Sula recovery from the holy water.
"Why not let me kill the brat, he down now!" Sula shouts glare at the house.
"Just follow plan Sula or I send back," Metaxist said as Sula stand down, the man chuckled. "All according to the plan."
