Chapter 16: Sewer Disaster

Flying through the street happens to be Linkage as he sees his house. He jumped on the roof which is Mr. Grouse House and finally got in his small window while turning back into Lincoln.

He sits on his bed as grabbed his history book, and pretends to read it. Just in time for the parents to check on their son.

"How's your study son?" Lynn Sr asked

"Oh I'm fine, a little hard but I'm pulling through," Lincoln answered while keeping his reading.

"That's good sweetie, dinner starts about fifteen minutes." Rita states as both walk out.

Lincoln look at the readers and spoke with a smirk. "Stopping robbers stealing the money from the bank, including spent time with Clyde and Ronnie Anne. Thanks to these powers, I got here just in time for dinner without no sister's help."

The Loud Sisters seem watching Dreamboat, Lori looks at the watch and is shocked to see Lincoln running late.

"Oh no girls, Lincoln running late!" Lori shouts as the girls stand. "The time for"

Rita and Lynn Sr came down as the girls look at them. "Girls...fifteen minutes when dinner is ready, Lincoln still in his room as studying."

The girls were shocked of Lincoln was home as Luna spoke. "Bro back already?"

"Strange, usually he'd be out longer with Clyde as usual." Lisa points out. "He could possibly find an alternative method in getting home earlier than we could help him out with."

"Maybe he tunneled his way back up here and made secret tunnels?" Lana suggests.

"Lana, you do that," Lola told her twin.

"Oh yeah, I do."

M" Or he can like got night time role of getting home on time." Leni pointed out

"Look, now Lincoln home in fast time now. We gotta keep a close eye on him." Lori said as others nodded.

In the underground sewer, we see a rat crawling around to search for food. Until a certain trap caught by a chain, as going to a tunnel.

In the tunnel, it happens to be a place with lots of cages of rats and roaches. Even a little lab that is full of chemical beakers.

"Yes...Yess..almost got it."

Using the beakers happens to be a shady man who has brown hair with a heavy beard, pale skin, and blue eyes. Wearing a dirty lab coat with a gray dirt shirt, black pants with mud on the bottom, and muddy rain boots. Wearing black wet gloves that were shredded torn.

"Soon as I got it. The chemical form animals in mutated forms," he spoke

He brought in a caged rat, as he held up a syringe. He injects the syringe into the rat, causing it to get startled. Its eyes widen as its pupils shrank, and the rat starts to grow bigger, and bigger in size until it breaks out of its cage.

"Yes...yes! It worked!" the man declares.

The man puts the rest syringe in his arm as the man's face while transforming into the size of a monster, who now is a creepy muscle rat with a sinister smile...he crack his maker's neck and leave it dead.

"Good, now I gonna used this new syringe and get what I desire...for I am Mutant Monarch." The man declares his name of himself.

A week later.

At school, Lincoln is seen heading down for lunch, as he saw a bunch of students chatting up about a topic. He walks over to his friends and asks them "So what's up with everyone talking so suddenly?"

"Haven't you heard about the rumors about the sewer rats, Lincoln?" Rusty asked him.

"Sewer rats? Isn't that just a common thing with sewers?" Lincoln asked.

"No way, Lincoln, the word is that there have been some sightings of large rats over the few days." Clyde states.

"And it's not just like big rats the size of hamsters, but these rats are like the size of cows!" Liam comments.

"I've heard that there was a sight of giant rats digging into trash cans at night, scavaging for food," Zach said in fear.

"Giant rats? Are we talking about actual giant rats, or the possibility of raccoons, dears, and possibly Lana rummaging for food?" Lincoln asked in disbelief.

"It's not me this time, Lincoln." Lana states as she was passing along, "But I did find large rat footprints at the park I go to, I got the pictures to prove it!" she said as she brings out a bunch of pictures.

Lincoln grabbed one of them, it really shows the park grass that has rats' footprints size like big feet. "So...what's the location the rats be?"

"Most of the rats are in town eating trash cans, but few in jewelry stores and the banks," Lana said

Lincoln stands up as he turns them. "I kinda go to the bathroom, see you guys later."

Clyde stands up. "Me too, really wash my hand's twenty-five times a day."

Lincoln and Clyde begin to walk out as the loud boy look at Ronnie Anne who sees Lincoln's silent mouth 'Ronnie, Trouble'. She quickly goes to them and the three of them walked into the hallway together.

"Looks like a villain uses sewage rodents as his puppets." Lincoln state

"I've heard about that," Ronnie Anne replies, "My brother while making those pizza deliveries claims he saw a giant rat walking down into the sewers."

"So the giant rat thing may be true?" Clyde asked in shock.

"In Royal Woods, anything's possible these days." Lincoln responded, "I'll call Scan to tell him about anything about this rat problem, it could be a Metax thing or some super villain controlling robot rats like the Golfer."

"Sure hope the ladder, Bobby says he can't make any more deliveries because of them," Ronnie Anne respond.

"Wouldn't that be the same otherwise?" Clyde asks him.

"My big bro has a complicated fear of rats, after his last job at the pet store." Ronnie Anne states.

In the grocery store, we see Sarah doing her grocery shopping aa wearing her black sweat jacket with black sweat shorts shorts, wearing earphones.

'Nothing more workout than jogging while doing shopping." Sarah thought to travel on her kart as suddenly got hit by another one. "Oh sorry."

"It's okay...Sarah?" Rita said in surprise.

Sarah was also surprised. "Mrs. Loud, nice to see you in-store that other side of town."

"Oh well, my old store has me banned from it," Rita replied while scratching her back of her head.

"What happened?" Sarah asked in curious.

"Well Lincoln says he does the shopping while I having the spa day, my kids kinda mess up the store. I grounded Lincoln after it and not getting his cereal." Rita answered

Sarah raises her eyebrow. "Why grounded only Lincoln?"

"Well he was supposed to be in charge of the groceries, he was the one who volunteered on the task and he failed to do so," Rita answered.

"Mrs. Loud, from your story your daughters seem to get off easily don't you think?" Sarah questions.

"He's chosen them to come along and he doesn't know what they are capable of," Rita said as Sarah got a little frown. "He needs to know decisions always got consequences."

Sarah shakes her head. "So all this just because of a box of cereal. Mrs. Loud, I think you need to know some thinking about you're parenting skills for your son."

Rita is shocked by this "Now what do you-"

"I mean, Mrs. Loud is that if your son is supposed to be grounded then your daughters should've been grounded as well for misbehavior. It's a little unfair for him to be grounded while his sisters get off scot-free, did they not?"

Rita was about to retort, but then thought about what she said and Sarah is right. Her daughters were a bit rowdy at the grocery store.

"Oh no...I guess your right." Rita said in sadden.

"Good, you better start thinking before action or things will affect your family," Sarah replied

"AHHHHHH!"

A worker came out of the back and runs out of the store. "Gaint rats coming in this store!"

Just that, three giant rats came in the back as people running away or hiding in the corners. Rita got scared, while Sarah presses her earpiece.

"Why do things always happen to this town?" Rita asked

"Well, I hope Linkage comes safely to us any moment now," Sarah responds hoping she's right.

A rat sees them and charges at them, two of them running away from it while screaming.

Lincoln hears his earpiece as a sign of trouble. 'Looks like an emergency.' he thought as he is in gym class, "Coach, can I use the restroom?"

"Fine, Loud, but you better be back in 5 minutes." the coach said as Lincoln ran out to the restroom.

In the restroom, after the coast is clear, Lincoln transforms into Linkage. "Good thing I learn how to multitask."

Linkage then starts to glow yellow, as suddenly he is split into two Lincolns. For weeks he has learned how to clone himself, so with Scan's help, he managed to master cloning.

"You know what to do, right?" Linkage asks his clone.

"Don't I ever? We share the same plan." the clone replied as he transforms into Lincoln.

"Great, now then." Linkage flew out of the window while his clone walks out of the bathroom and headed to the gym.

The giant rats have cornered Sarah and Rita, as the ladder is in a fetal position while Sarah stood in defense with an electric stick.

"Don't you think I know how to use this!" Sarah shouts at the giant rat, who stares at Sarah intensively.

'Yes...take her in and come back to the sewers!'

The giant rat followed his master's command. He swats the electric stick away from Sarah's hands with his tail. The giant rat stands up and grabs Sarah over the shoulder with her butt next to its face.

"Hey! Let me go!" Sarah cries out as the giant group of rats retreats from the store.

"That was scary," Rita said picking the electric stick. "I wonder how to use this?"

Linkage came here as looked around until see a worker hiding in cans. "Um sir, mind telling me what happened?"

"Big rats came here and attacked the place, even took women!" Workers shout in fear.

'Sarah...of course.' Linkage thought as felt a tapping on the shoulder, he turns to see Rita. "Mo..." Spoke in a grown tone." I mean ma'am, is something wrong?"

"Linkage, I think you can use this to find Sarah Atoms," Rita said

Linkage grabbed it and spoke. "Thank you, I gonna saved Sarah Atoms."

Just that Linkage runs out of the store right before searching the store to find a rat's claw as contact Scan by uses his earpiece. "Scan, Sarah got taken again. And kinda got the rat's nail, might give you make the antidote."

"Bring the nail here and go to the sewers to look for Sarah, I have a bad feeling about who controls those rats." Scan replied.

"Got it," Linkage replied as he head down to the lab.

"Sir, loads of rats in the sewer but big as a dog!"

"So...he has returned..."

"Who?"

"I will be back for a little sample."

"Seriously, I'm getting a wedgie," Sarah said while the rat carries her through the tunnels of the sewers. Her short shorts are getting riled up seeing the crack line while she kicks her legs up and down. A rat's tail swat her behind "Ah! Watch it you creep!"

Sarah sees a kind of lab area, she fell on her behind to look up and see a rat-man in a dirty lab coat.

'Creep alert.' Sarah thought in deadpan.

"Why hello, Sarah, it's been a while since work with your father." Mutant Monarch said shocked Sarah.

"Fredrick?" Sarah question.

"In the flesh...it's Mutant Monarch." Mutant Monarch said with a smile.

"What happened to you, last I see you were fighting my dad for a food growing project," Sarah replied

"Oh that, well after the "great" Scan Atoms defied my growth formula, saying about how unstable the molecules can be, I set out to prove him wrong!" he said dramatically "So when I began testing it, my lab exploded! And you know what happens next?"

"You faked your own death, run off to the sewers, and decided to complete your work in secret," Sarah said in deadpan. "Yeah, I've heard the same story a bunch of times."

"'Oh I've heard the same story a bunch of times' blah-blah-blah. Well Ms. Know-it-all, as you can see here, I've succeeded in mutating my rats! Look how big and strong they've gotten!"

"And turn into hideous monsters that only running around on the surface and robbing," Sarah states as rolls her eyes.

"Oh, it's just that I'm getting the cash to own my very own real lab and mansion." Mutant Monarch said getting a creepy smile. "And a wife."

Sarah drops her deadpan. "Excuse me?"

"Yes, I've been so lonely for a while, and seeing you around, I might as well pick a wife!" Mutant Monarch declares while grinning, "I mean, you're single, I'm single, it totally makes sense."

"No, it doesn't! And I refuse to be married to some creepy guy who lives with sewer rats!" Sarah tells him off.

Sarah was about to walk but a big rat blocked her, Mutant Monarch smirked.

"Who said it's your decision, I'll force you to be mine!" He said with a glare.

'NOT AGAIN!' Sarah thought in a scream.

Linkage seems walking in the sewer while holding his nose. 'Wonder how the TMNT lived in the bottom all their lives?'

Linkage sees the signs of the sewers, his eyes widen at the logos of the signs. "This is located at the sewage plant. If I remember correctly, Chandler's dad works at the sewage plant, and he did announce to have a birthday party here sometime in November."

Now seeing the sewers up and close, Lincoln doesn't even want to know if he would be invited, not that he wants to anyway.

"AAAAAAHHH!"

"Sarah!" Linkage shouts as he flew down in the direction.

"H-Help!" Sarah cries out, as she has her arms and legs stretched out in chains, with her butt raised up due to the hook over her short-shorts giving her a wedgie. The Monarch Mutant circles around her as Sarah hovers over a pool of green chemicals.

"One dip into my mutagen pool, and you shall become my queen!" Mutant Monarch states as he stops by her feet, "But a little grasp of your beauty shall be implanted in my eyes." he said as he looks at Sarah's body, examing the great bosoms to her waist and legs, takes off Sarah's flat shoes, making them fall into the chemical bath. He touches her stomach and has his crooked nails tickle around her feet, "Tickle, tickle, my darling."

"Ahahahahaha stahahay away from my fehehehehehet!" Sarah cries out, as she moves around in reaction as the hook pulling her shorts up is pinching her loins, "Ohohohoh!"

"Hehehe, lovely laugh you have." The isolated scientist states while continuing to tickle her, which are moving swiftly, "I sense an intruder coming. Rats, blockade the entrance!"

The large rats follow their master's orders as they head down to the tunnel holes. Mutant Monarch continues as he tells her "I can stop now if you agree with the marriage."

"Nehehehever!" Sarah cries out in laughter, as the Mutant Monarch keeps tickling her, he grins sickly as his green tongue licks his lips staring at her jiggling busts. 'Linkage, help!' she cries out.

'This just really not my day.'

Linkage sees big rats blocking the entrance, he knows for sure Sarah torturing him right about now. He needs to get in there and fast until he realizes the antidote Scan made.

Linkage held out a bright syringe and it's sprayed a little on them, suddenly the rats begin to glow as shrinking down...back to regular rats.

"It works, but Scan I need to find the source and place it in but first..." Linkage said glaring at the door.

Sarah bopped her head while laughing out loud. "AHAHAHA!"

Mutant Monarch smiling more creepy. "Oh maybe be more fun if you undress-"

*BOOM!*

Sarah and Mutant Monarch turn to the entrance to see Linkage who blasted Mutant Monarch with his ray as the villain sends him flying to the ground. Linkage flies to Sarah, breaking the chain with his blasts.

"You alright?" Linkage asked as he pick her up.

"Yeah, just want to go home and wash my body from that creep's nails," Sarah responds while panting from laughing.

"Meddlesome, boy." The Mutant Monarch states as he stood by the chemical bath, "You will regret taking my bride from me!"

"I AM NOT YOUR BRIDE!" Sarah spat, but much to her and Linkage's surprise, Mutant Monarch jumps over the chemical pool, as Linkage flew away from the slash to keep Sarah safe in his arms. "He...he jumped."

"Is he...?" Linkage asked as suddenly they hear a rumbling, as they all saw a grotesque hand popping out from the pool, "Oh no."

Coming out of the chemical pool, appears to be some kind of large, mutated version of Mutant Monarch. This time looking like more of a grotesque abomination. His whole body grew big and huge, as it grew more and more making Linkage fly away with Sarah in his arms.

"He's growing bigger!" Sarah said seeing the large growing skin expanding through the sewer tunnels.

"He's going to grow all the way up to the plant!" Linkage states as they saw a bright hole, "Hang on!"

Linkage and Sarah in the power plant, breaking through the ground is Gigantic Mutant Monarch in a big roar. The monster trying to capture the flying boy and the lady, but Linkage is too fast for him.

Linkage goes to the stairs and lets Sarah on the stairs, he spoke to her. "Sarah, I need your little help."

"Sure, what is it?" Sarah asked

"See that control room up top?" Linkage asked pointing to the control room which was up the top of the stairs. "I need you to go in there and hit something that will knock out that monster." Linkage answered pull out the syringe. "If I get him back to the pool while knock out, I put this in the pool and he will turn back to normal and might use the pool to turn this monster rats back. Can you do that?"

"Of course, but how can we be sure the pool's intact?" Sarah asks him.

"It has to, there's no way it could-AHH!" Linkage gets swatted by a large tendril from the monster, causing him to launch the plant's wall.

"Linkage!" Sarah cries out, as she looks at the controls and starts working on trying to knock the monster out. "Come on, work already!"

Linkage gets up, as the Giant Mutant Monarch roars and slams his oversized claw at him, as Linkage flew away from the monster. The lizard-rat monster sees Linkage flying around him, blasting his red beams at him. The monster keeps swatting at him, but Linkage dodges every move.

"This guy's too big, and he's only getting bigger!" Linkage said as he hold on to the antidote, "I'm gonna cure you no matter what!"

"I beg to differ."

Linkage froze, as he turns around and saw Metaxist hovering behind him, with Sarah under his arm while she struggles and kicks around.

"Linkage, help!" Sarah cries out, can't believe this loser captured her again.

"Metaxist! What are you doing here!? And let Sarah go!" Linkage demands.

"Oh, I'm just getting her out of the way, just so she doesn't get splashed." Metaxist states.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Linkage asked, as Metaxist held up a ball and threw it at Linkage, who flew away and dodge it "You missed!"

"I wasn't aiming at you, boy." Metaxist states as Linkage looks to see the ball hit the giant monster. The ball went into him, and it starts to glow. Suddenly, the giant monster roared in pain as it starts to bloat up. "I suggest we fly out of here," he said as he flew off with Sarah.

Linkage follows Metaxist as he tries to save Sarah from that menace. Linkage then duplicates himself into three other clones, in which he surrounds Metaxist. "Hand Sarah over!" they demand.

Metaxist sighed, as he threw Sarah at one of them. Linkage grabs Sarah who landed on his shoulder, "No need for her now, I've already come what I've come for."

"What do you mean!?" Linkage demands while holding Sarah over his shoulder, as his clones disappear.

*BOOM!*

Linkage is shocked to see the monster bloated up like a boil, and exploded into gallons of slime. He quickly shielded himself and Sarah with his energy, preventing the slime from splashing him and Sarah. Metaxist did the same, as they all see the mess around the damaged sewage plant.

"I...I don't sense Mutant Monarch everywhere." Linkage said while looking around.

"That's because, boy, he is dead." Metaxist states while taking the sample of the slime from the remains of the monster.

Shocked, Linkage and Sarah all glare at Metaxist, after Linkage puts Sarah down, "You took a man's life, he could've been cured!" Linkage told him off.

"Yes, but this is more of an easy solution. I knew you'd try to cure him, so I just speed up the process and end his misery." Metaxist states.

"Still, he should've been punished for his crimes!" Sarah told him.

"Better dead than being locked up." Metaxist said as he flew up "We'll meet again soon, Linkage. Take care of the rat problem." he said as he flew up high.

Linkage getting angry. "You..you...!"

Sarah hugged Linkage's back and spoke calmly. "Calm downlink, you get him one day. We need to get the cure those rats."

Linkage calm down and said. "Yeah you're right, the place we knew has a pool that can change with this antidote."

Linkage place the antidote in the pool, mix it up and begin to change color turning it into an antidote as well. He pours the pool into the sewer turning all rats back to normal.

Linkage flew down to the pool, where he poured the antidote inside of it. The green colors of the chemicals turn into a rainbow-colored liquid as it spreads throughout the sewers.

"Hope this undoes the damage." Linkage said seeing the water reaching the giant rats, changing them back into regular-sized rats.

In next day, the town has been saved again by Linkage but the boy seems to feel defeated by not saving Mutant Monarch's life by Metaxist. He now walking at his locker feeling sadness until Clyde and Ronnie Anne appear.

"Hey Lincoln, I see you feel it's your fault," Clyde said

"Yeah, I got a plan of turning him back to normal and the rats but Metaxist has ruined...I felt so...so-" Lincoln replied Ronnie Anne place her hand on his shoulder.

"Lame-O, you stop bad guy, save Ms. Atoms, and includes changing the big rats back to normal. One didn't save a crazy scientist that jump in the pool." Ronnie Anne said

Lincoln smiled. "Yeah, thanks."

"That son of a bitch!"

The trio looks to see Chandler ripped off the paper and walking off while his goons follow. "That Linkage is nothing but a waste of life!"

Lincoln glared at him. "What's his deal?"

"Well, you know that plant where, um Linkage, fought that giant mutated monster at?" Clyde asked him while keeping Lincoln's secret, "The plant's where his dad works, who's in charge of safety and security measures, but now that the plant's about half-destroyed..."

"He's basically mad since he can't use the sewage plant for his party." Ronnie Anne finished, "Which, honestly, does sound unsanitary to have a party at."

"Oh, man," Lincoln said, realizing that the plant was where Chandler's dad works. Now he feels bad for Chandler for ruining his father's career, even if it's unintentional. 'Even if he's a jerk, Chandler's dad didn't have to almost lose his job over it.'

Metaxist seems working in his lab, while Robo-Geek was in the computers, and Octo Man put the power cord in the machine.

"Sir, I don't understand...why you go all out of destroying Mutant Monarch even he can be cured and above all be our allies?" Robo Geek asked

"Fredrick just man has the brain but not the sense, uses the growth of turning rats into monsters that rule the sewer, pathetic," Metaxist answered looking at the example of slime. "But the incredible of the slime he requires can help make my very own...ooze."

Metaxist placed slime in the machine as turn it on, transforming something that bubbling and making a shrieked came from it of black and red small slime got into the green. The machine stops as sees the slime turn into; a dark green ooze that is moving.

Metaxist smile sinister. "Yes...welcome Project T."

This chapter gets me, you guys wanna know what Mutant Monarch looks like?

The rat form is similar to a D movie villain of a dectective.

Project T is rare, will come...be ready everyone.
